With the return of Gilmore Girls making serious waves both here and across the pond, it's no surprise that certain other shows are starting to wonder whether it might be worth cashing in on the revival trend right now.

And Scrubs is one of them.

While doing a Q&A session on Twitter recently, Zach Braff, who played JD in the popular hospital comedy, revealed that he and his former cast mates often discuss reprising their roles.

"You never know about making more Scrubs episodes," he said of the show which began way back in 2001.

"It's something we all talk about, especially now that all these people are going back and doing, like, Netflix versions of their shows. I'm very jealous of all this Gilmore Girls attention, and Full House," he admitted.

In a move which is set to delight fans of JD, Turk, Carla and Elliott, Zach added: "So, we talk about it every now and then, so you never know. It could happen. I'd do it."

Hear that, ladies? He'd do it.

When it comes to special sporting moments, Ireland has had quite a few in 2016.

However, according to research from One4all, the Ireland rugby team’s defeat of the almighty All Blacks for the first time in 111 years was the nation’s happiest sporting moment of the year – so say four out of ten people polled.

Meanwhile, the O’Donovan brothers revealing their ‘steak, spuds and pull like a dog’ strategy to RTÉ Sport was chosen as the second happiest sporting occasion of 2016 (13 percent). And the memorable moment Robbie Brady scored against Italy in Euros 2016 came a close third with 12 percent.

The survey, which was carried out among 1,352 adults in Ireland, furthermore revealled that the week-long Irish heatwave in July was the happiest non-sporting moment in Ireland this year (39 percent), followed by the 1916 centenary celebrations at the GPO – close-to a third of people felt that was the year's high point.

It seems President Michael D has put a smile on quite a few people’s faces in 2016 with 14 percent of Irish adults saying the photo of him queueing to use an ATM was one of their happiest non-sporting moments of the year.

One4all also revealed that eight in ten adults say that they feel happier at Christmas time than any other time of the year – with Christmas Eve being more exciting for most than the big day itself.

The brand said in response to the findings: “It’s great to know that for most people, 2016 has been a happy year. From special sporting moments and monumental events to spending time with your family and friends, it’s clear that happiness comes in all shapes and sizes.  “

“This Christmas you can make your gift personal by giving a One4all gift card and let your loved one choose something that will make them smile, bringing them some extra happiness to top off 2016!”

According to reports, Leigh-Anne and a female friend were in the restaurant following a night out in Mayfair's Drama nightclub when an altercation took place between themselves and a male diner.

Speaking to Leigh-Anne and her friend, the man reportedly said: "If my girlfriend was here, you would both feel really intimidated’."

It has been established that the women contradicted this remark in a move which appeared to aggravate the diner, with a source saying: "And then he said something like ‘shut up’ to Leigh-Anne’s friend."

"Leigh-Anne turned around and said, ‘Don’t say that to her’ or ‘don’t be rude’ and he walked around the table and leant into her and gave her a clean slap on the face," the source added.

Just a week after Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui hit the headlines for drug possession, the band has been dealt a further blow after popular member Camila Cabello announced she had quit the group.

In a move which has left Harmonizers in a state of shock today, the singer decided to walk out… without telling her bandmates.

Sounding pretty diplomatic despite being informed of Camila's decision through her representatives, the remaining girls wished their former bandmate well.

Releasing a statement via social media just hours after they performed together in Florida, Fifth Harmony said: "After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well."

"You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you’ve supported us, you’ve rejoiced and cried with us, you’ve grown with us, and with your love and support, we will continue on," they added.

In a Twitter post which has been liked more than 60,000 times since its upload four hours ago, they continued: "Thta being said, we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us – Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui for our fans."

Sounding pretty certain that Camila's departure would not signal the end for the group, they continued: "We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavours."

"We are excited for our future, and we can't wait for what the new year brings, Harmonizers we are in this together. We love you with all of our hearts."

Fans of the girl group wasted no time insisting the band would be better without Camila, with one writing: "5h is better without Camila*"

"It's okay 5 seconds of summer exist and they only have 4 seconds out of 5," added another.

Well, that's it girls – it's the end of an era.

Legendary Hollywood actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has died.

Just two months shy of her milestone 100th birthday, the Hungarian icon passed away following a heart attack.

She was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital today, but sadly was pronounced dead on arrival.

Married to Conrad Hilton in the 1940s, she found fame during the 1950s on the big screen – but had in more recent years been in bad health.

In 2005, Zsa Zsa suffered a stroke. And in 2010, her right leg was amputated following complications arising from a hip replacement.

Married nine times, she is survived by her most recent husband, Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt.

Ms Gabor had one child, Francesca Hilton, who died last year from a stroke – although her ageing mother was said at the time to be largely unaware of her daughter's passing.

When we think of mojitos, what’s usually conjured up are images of beachside cocktails or summer parties.

So when we came across a recipe for a Spiced WINTER mojito, all our Christmas tipple dreams came true.

This mojito is still refreshing and delicious, but the homemade gingerbread syrup (nom!) gives it a distinctively festive flourish.

Think cinnamon, cloves and orange peel, all picked up with a generous sprinkling of demerara sugar.

The gorgeous recipe is by the talented guys at BRIT+CO, who tell us that it needs to become our signature festive cocktail.

There’s something about Christmas that makes us all that little bit cheerier and, dare we say, more tolerant than usual!

We hope the same can be said for the boss in this hilarious viral Reddit post, though!

It’s safe to say that Redditor ‘FinemImmort87’ has won Christmas – and, quite possibly, a telling-off – with his innovative creation for his job’s ‘ugly sweater competition’.

Knowing he was going up against his boss, the Redditor chose just about the ugliest image he could think of for his sweater: a mirror-image of his boss!

Yep, all this guy needed was a mirror and some sticky-tape, and he was ready to go up against his manager.

Clearly, the boss was well able to take a joke – as evidenced by his pose in the Reddit post, as he checks out his reflection in the mirror.

The Joy Experiment happy reactions oh surprise

As with any top-class Reddit post, this one garnered some pretty amazing and laugh-out-loud responses.

“If I was your boss, I’d be putting a huge picture of that smug-ass face of yours on a sweater to wear next year,” joked one follower.

Another chimed in: “He was fired a few seconds after that picture was taken.”

Someone give that guy a standing ovation.

In this case, Sephora (makeup gods) have collaborated with Disney to create a beautiful Disney-inspired collection.

Now, before I go any further, it is important to note that this is not a new collection… which means it is currently ON SALE (hence my excitement).

Anywho, the collaboration is made up of some of the loveliest makeup sets I have ever laid eyes on (still love you, Urban Decay).

Wishing for a white Christmas? Dreaming of magical sleigh rides, hot chocolate and ice skating in the park?

Not this year, guys. According to Met Éireann's Jean Byrne, we’re in for some pretty ‘typical’ Irish weather.

Wintry showers are likely, as it is expected to turn cooler on Wednesday into Thursday, but the probability of building a snowman is pretty slim.

Jean has been studying the charts closely to see what’s in store for Christmas Week.

The highest temperature will be between 4C and 7C. However, it will turn milder towards the end of the week.

Christmas Eve will be cold again with some more wintry showers, so keep your winter woollies to hand. Similar conditions are predicted for Christmas Day, with no hope of a white Christmas.

We live in hope of this magical sight.
