You've probably heard or seen the amazing mash-up of Adele songs performed by talented Irish musicians Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy, but if you haven't it's well worth a listen.

The Irish natives performed the songs beautifully in a YouTube video and thus the video took off with millions of people from all over the world stopping to listen to the heart-felt rendition of some of Adele's biggest hits.

It got so big that Adele herself got wind of the video and invited duo up on stage at one of her Dublin concerts to perform for her.

And the gorgeously humble and fun pair have been on a whirlwind ever since most recently jet-setting to LA to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

The lads got to chat to the infamous co-host, perform their medley for American audiences and also received some amazing Ellen gifts.

Fair play to these two because they totally deserve it.

Watch them slay it on American TV below:

If you never thought you would see your favourite 90s boyband members reunite to battle zombies in a post-apocalyptic Wild West, then today is your lucky day friends.

Yep, our favourite movers and shakers from our teenage years have regrouped to bring us a zombie Western in the form of Dead 7 and you'll be able to revel in its madness as soon as April.

Nick Carter, the brainchild behind the project, conceived the idea for a film which found backing from the Asylum, a US movie production company best known for it's gas Sharknado films.

Not only do we get Nick Carter as the gun-slinging hero of the film, but a whole host of your 90s pin-up heartthrobs are also getting in on the action.

A.J and Howie from Backstreet Boys are involved as well as Chris and Joey from NSYNC (but no Justin Timberlake? Devo).

Also joining the boyband ranks are Dan, Jacob, Trevor and Erik-Michael from O-Town as well as Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees.

Airing on Syfy channel on April 1, get ready for a nostalgic night in.

While they didn't make an official announcement, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools made a rather unexpected revelation while on the red carpet for upcoming film Eddie the Eagle.

Jools wore a black dress that skimmed a sizable baby bump confirming the news that the pair are in fact expecting their fifth child.

Fans were both excited and a bit surprised by the news, but it seems that Jamie and his wife of 16 years were equally blind-sided by their latest family development.

"This was not expected, I can't even believe I'm saying it," said Jamie about the news to the Mirror.

"I think my own family were like 'really?!' But we're all tuned in to kids, it's good, it's carnage!"

And it seems that the 40-year-old loves having a big family, though he did not expect it.

"I love kids, my family keep me honest. I have a weird job, a weird life, but my family keeps my quite real,"

"I thought we'd have a couple of kids, but that's about it.

"Basically I do what I'm told, but she's an amazing family maker, and I just go with it!"

The pair currently have four children; Poppy (13), Daisy (12), Petal (6) and Buddy (5).

It's not surprising that people around the world want to spend St. Patrick's Day in Dublin and will travel from the far corners to get here.

Because let's face it from the parades to the atmosphere, there really is no beating it.

There is a longstanding tradition of celebrities making the grand trip to the Emerald Isle on the big day and this year it was former boyband star and ex-husband of Jessica Simpson who caught the Paddy's day bug.

Basically, a 90s superstar was here and we were living for it.

However, the singer-turned-reality-star went to impressive lengths to not only conceal his identity but also get into the St. Patrick's spirit.

The 42-year-old was snapped strolling down Grafton Street with his wife, Vanessa, and some friends donning a full face of paint, a ginger beard and a leprechaun hat (we are also appreciating the green hints on his runners).

Because if you can't do it on Paddy's Day in Dublin then when can you.

The star was also spotted flying into Dublin airport on Tuesday where fans were excited to get pics with the star.

While they were out soaking up the atmosphere in the capital yesterday, on Wednesday they enjoyed a trip to the Guiness Storehouse as well as dinner and drinks at the Bank Bar on Dame Street.

We reckon he's probably feeling a bit worse for wear today, but sure who isn't?

While you can't deny that Americans win in the enthusiasm stakes when it comes to St Patrick's Day celebrations, there's one element of their Irish-American pride that we simply can't abide – the use of "St Patty's Day."

As every native Irish person knows, it's always "Paddy" and never "Patty," unless you're celebrating the birthday of your aunt Patricia or getting excited about making burgers.

After years of trying to communicate the message across the Atlantic, some Irish expats have taken it upon themselves to fight the good fight.

There's this lad, slyly correcting his colleague's mistakes in the news studio he works at:

This girl, spreading The Word of St Patrick:

This music fan, who wrote a pleading letter to her fave US band:

Even poor Donal Skehan has some work to do with his pals in LA:

Next year we suggest bulk-printing copies of Twisted Doodles' PSA and sending them all over the USA.

A wise use of taxpayers' money, surely?

Happy Paddy's Day, everyone.

Jennifer Garner's black Versace gown at this year's Academy Awards was totally breathtaking – in more ways than one.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon this week, the newly divorced star admitted that the strapless corseted dress was pretty horrific to wear.

"It's so intense," she said of the process of getting fitted into a custom-made gown.

"This was Versace, and they made it just for me. What they do is they move your organs around," she joked, before explaining what really went down.

"There are basically two men who come in with screwguns, and they screwed me into a metal corset – this isn't true, but it was a metal corset and it did take two Italian people. The next thing you know, my ribs were compressed.

"There's metal inside and these people just kind of move your ribs and they move your liver out of the side and they pop you in. To keep you in place, you step into a bodysuit first, which is like the bottom of a leotard, but it's a thong."

But it was during the Oscars ceremony itself that poor Jen really began to suffer, with pains in her ribs and muscle spasms – and had to rope one of her best friends in to help.

"I said, 'I'm going to have to stand up. I can't breathe. I'm going to have to stand up.'

"And she said, 'If you stand up, they'll think you're Kanye West. They're going to think you're protesting. You can't stand up! You have to sit down.' We're laughing, and that makes it worse."

After eventually making it to the bathroom during an ad break, Jennifer described the stress of actually trying to get out of the gown to do her thing on the loo.

"The connection of the bodysuit, because it had a hook and eye situation, was in an intimate position. I was like, in my vageen, OK?!

"I couldn't reach it, you know what I'm saying? So, I said to my friend, 'I don't know what's going to happen, but I think you've got to get this.' I couldn't reach it.

"She's a good friend. She said, 'If this has to be done, it has to be done, but listen: I want you to give it a good college try.'"

"Eventually it worked out, and I'm going to get those ribs removed anyway."

What an ordeal – she's some trooper!

Most of us would take the idea of a few pints down the local for granted, but if you're a global superstar things are a little different.

Niall Horan's been making the most of his extended break from the limelight by fitting in a few well-earned holidays, both at home and further afield.

And after returning to Mullingar over Christmas, Mr. Horan made another trip to his hometown today for a cheeky Paddy's Day pint – his first March 17 on Irish soil in five years, according to The Sun.

"Happy St. Patrick's day everyone.  Always proud of our little nation," he wrote on Instagram alongside a snap of himself slugging a pint of Guinness in what looked to be a relatively quiet Irish pub.

Niall was taking no chances though, and attempted to stave off attention from fans by pulling his cap down over his face.

With some spare time on his hands, Niall's been using the opportunity to get back to his first love – golfing. Just yesterday he was out in the "freezing cold" for a putt around:

We don't feel too sorry for poor freezing Niall though, as he's only just back from a sun-drenched trip to Thailand with 2FM host Eoghan McDermott and three friends.

Eoghan called the holiday a "week in paradise," and judging by the snaps posted by the pair on social media, it certainly was.

Happy March 17 Niall!

Congrats are in order for Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan today, with reports coming in that he's become a dad for the second time.

It's thought the baby made his or her entrance earlier this month.

Jamie and his wife Amelia Warner have made no official birth announcement as yet, but given that news of her pregnancy first went public back in November when she was a few months along, it stands to reason that she would indeed have given birth by now.

Adding to the speculation, Amelia was spotted out and about in Notting Hill two days ago with a friend and two prams, and was happy to wave and smile for photographers as she walked by.

The new addition will be a little brother or sister for Jamie and Amelia's two-year-old daughter Dulcie.

And while he's normally a fairly reserved chap, Jamie's never been able to hide his pride when chatting about his little girl:

Too sweet. Here's hoping we get news of the baby's sex and name very soon indeed.

Filming for next years Gilmore Girls revival is already underway, but one cast member's presence has yet to be confirmed – Melissa McCarthy.

Although Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory), Scott Patterson (Luke) and a whole host of others are already on board for the four-part reunion, there's been a lot of back-and-forth about Melissa's participation on the show.

Now Melissa has revealed that she most likely won't be reviving her role as Sookie – though she insists there's no bad blood and that it was simply a matter of scheduling.

"I don't think I am [coming back]," she told E! News this week while promoting her new film, The Boss.

"I didn't actually get asked to do it. But I think they thought I was busy, and then by the time it did come up, then I actually was."

Though she won't feature in the revival, Melissa promised that she'd be tuning in with the rest of the fans.

"I loved that show, and I think the fans for that show are super loyal and great and I will watch every single one of them."

With both Ghostbusters and The Boss coming out this year, it's no surprise that Melissa might have less time on her hands than her former co-stars, but we're still holding out hope for a cameo.

But despite Melissa's reservations, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino admitted she'd happily write in a last-minute part if it came down to it.

"Look, if Melissa is available and has an afternoon free, I'll write her a scene," she said last year.

"Melissa was one of us. If she has a spare moment to run over [to the set] — even if for just a cameo — we would be totally game."

Fingers crossed.

Hidden cats, snowmen disguised as pandas… the internet loves a good visual riddle.

And this photograph, posted to Instagram by snapper Tiziana Vergari, is one of the best we've seen in a while.

At first glance, it looks like a row of young girls sitting on a bench, but once you look closer you see that there's definitely some element of mirroring and reflection involved.

The question is though, how many girls really did pose for the photo? Unsurprisingly, the internet is somewhat divided, with close to 1,000 comments each suggesting different answers.

Tiziana has since confirmed that the image is of two sisters – just two – looking into a mirror, but people are still drawing their own conclusions.

Some say four – like this guy who swears he has it all figured out:

Others say three:

The Swiss lifestyle photographer shared the image as part of Instagram's #WHPIdentity project, for which users are asked to submit photos around the theme of individuality.

Already it's racked up over 13,000 likes and counting, and we can see why – it's a stunning piece of photography.

Ah, the Debs. It is generally hyped up as the biggest night of your life, so it stands to reason you'd want to pick the perfect date.

After deciding that he wouldn't buy a corsage for anyone other than an A-lister, this American high-schooler set about finding a way to get Daisy Ridley to his prom.

Behold:

Kevin Carlock's heavily Auto-tuned video invite has gone viral in the last week with over 40,000 Youtube hits, and while Daisy sadly won't be attending the prom, she did in fact send a heartfelt apology.

"Thank you so much for that brilliant invite to your formal," she wrote in a note to Kevin via Instagram.

"Unfortunately I'm locked in an intense staring competition with Luke Skywalker, somewhere in the middle of the galaxy, so won't be able to make it!"

@kevincarlock your video made my day! Can't believe I only just saw it! Thank you!!!

If you're celebrating St Patrick's Day in the West today you might notice things are a little more subdued than usual.

At least that's the aim of the plan laid down by several supermarkets and off-licences across Galway, preventing revellers from purchasing alcohol until 3pm today, March 17.

It's hoped the initiative will help to cut down on anti-social behaviour in the area, on a day which is notorious for on-street trouble.

According the Gardaí, the initiative is totally voluntary and businesses are under no legal obligation to refrain from selling alcohol.

Speaking to Newstalk today, Galway's Lord Mayor Frank Fahy said that the issue of anti-social behaviour on March 17 was not just isolated to one part of Ireland.

"We need to encourage people that there are other ways to celebrate St Patrick's Day other than going over the top as regards alcohol.

"It's not just Galway, every city has the same problem, right across the country."
