Poppy Delevingne threw the mother of all don't-you-know-who-I-am tantrums when she was refused entry to a VIP area at the British Fashion Awards in London last week… because the bouncers clearly didn't know who she was.

The big sister to model/actress of the moment, Cara Delevingne was at St Martin’s Lane Hotel’s Asia de Cuba bar and a bouncer presumably said: "If your name’s not Cara Delevingne you’re not coming in."

The model was with actress Kate Bosworth at the time and and one point she was heard saying, "This is b******t and you’re going to lose your job tomorrow. Congratulations." Harsh Pop!

Kate was then seen urging her friend to "get the f**k out of here," and the pair left in a rather grumpy mood. Eek!

Lesson learned: Don't get on the wrong side of Poppy!

OK, so we made it to the gym, we did our warm-up, ran on the treadmill, hammered out a few weights and now it's time to go home (thank god).

Lazy girls aren't really workout girls, but it has to be done, right? And when the lazy girl has to make something to fuel themselves afterwards… it can almost be as hard as their workout (because who has the effort?!).

At this stage there are thousands of post-gym smoothies out there – and they're all very complicated.

So, while this one isn't as fancy as the rest, it will do just the trick after a hard(ish) workout:

Almond and Banana Smoothie (serves two sweaty girls)

500ml almond milk

2 frozen bananas (if using fresh banana add some ice)

2 teaspoons almond butter

2 teaspoons Greek yoghurt

A grating of nutmeg

2 teaspoons of maple syrup

And BLITZ!

We all know GIFs are great. They let you get across a whole range of emotions with a single sad-looking pug.

But sometimes the range of animated images available on the Internet doesn't quite satisfy your needs, right? And that's where Giphy Cam comes in handy.

Giphy Cam is a new app that allows you to take a short video and then turn it into a GIF.

And it even has a feature for adding in your own captions, which, you know, will give your GIF ten times more personality (because you're gas).

You can also edit them for length, play around with silly colours, effects and more and then share the finished masterpiece with your friends.

For any mothers out there, child birth is no easy business, right? But not a hair fell out of place for Coco Austin, apparently.

The model welcomed a little baby girl, Chanel Nicole, into world yesterday morning, weighing 5.7 pounds.

"Surprise!!! Look who came early!! Welcome the new arrival of Chanel Nicole. A beautiful healthy 5.7 pound and 18 inch baby girl," the new mother wrote on Twitter.

"Ice and I are so proud! I cried while she was coming out I was so excited to meet her!" she added.

Then she posted a follow-up post – which she claimed to have taken five minutes after childbirth – revealed a fresh looking mom with flawless make-up applied.

"Thanks so much for all the warm wishes today.I'm doing great! I had the best delivery!" she wrote.

Moments after I was born and all ready in dads arms chillin!

"Pushed Chanel out in 3 tries! This was taken not 5 minutes after delivery, called skin to skin contact.. better for a more bonding experience."

Coco looks very well for a woman just after giving birth!  And of course she has already given her child a Twitter and Instagram account.

"@BabyChanelWorld Ok! I'm the newest on Twitter! What's crackin world!! No haters allowed…," the baby's account tweeted within only a few hours of birth.

By Saturday night, she already had more than 8,500 Twitter and 11,500 Instagram followers.

It must get fairly stressful to be broadcasting live from the Australian jungle every evening – especially when you're trying to keep a cast of hungry reality stars in check.

Usually, Ant and Dec, the long-time hosts of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! take all the mishaps and glitches in their stride.

But during one particularly tiresome moment earlier this week, Dec couldn't help sound off a bit.

The only problem? His mic was still on, meaning his words were broadcast live to millions of ITV viewers.

Ant and Dec were talking to contestant Vicki Pattison over the phone, but technical difficulties meant she couldn't hear what they were saying.

In the end a member of the production crew in the camp relayed the message to Vicki, telling her to head to the Bush Telegraph with Duncan Bannatyne and George Shelley.

Clearly annoyed at having to deal with the dodgy phone lines live on air, Dec could be heard saying, "Why didn't they just do that in the first place instead of you having to ring her?"

Listen to the awkward moment here from 0:45…

The technical difficulties didn't end there though, as Ferne McCann got cut off during another call just minutes later, while Vicky, George and Duncan struggled to hear Ant and Dec from the Bush Telegraph.

Here's a tip… don't rely on phones when broadcasting live from a rainforest.

Hands up who's already sweating about what to buy their parents this Christmas?

No doubt your dad has already said he 'only wants a pair of socks' which of course means, 'I swear to God if you give me socks on Christmas morning you'll be evicted from this house.'

As for your mum, there are only so many candles, vouchers and framed family photos you can give her before it gets old.

In fact, one Irish mother has decided enough is enough when it comes to unwanted gifts. Instead of a Christmas gift list, comedian Brona Titley got the exact opposite – a list of all the things her mother DIDN'T want.

Among the – very specific – things on the list are:

– 'No wallets bags purses rocks perfume scarves face cream or anything cosmetic'

– 'Nothing for the house as it is inanimate'

– 'No jewellery of any kind'

– 'No re-gifts or tired wardrobe things'

But of course, anything else 'might be possible,' as Brona's mam concedes that she is 'easy to buy for.' Ahem.

This genius text was sent back in 2013, but Brona re-posted it this week as she started her 2015 Christmas shopping.

Last year, the Irish comedian admitted she broke 'rule no. 17' to buy her mum an M&S voucher.

We wish her the best of luck this time around… sounds like she'll need it.

Her ex Zayn might be moving on with model Gigi Hadid, but Perrie Edwards has other things to focus on.

A tour in Japan, for instance, which she's currently doing with her fellow Little Mix ladies. And while she's at it, Perrie has gone and gotten herself a new hairstyle too.

The singer took to Instagram this morning to show off her revamped 'do – a gorgeous full fringe, with her long locks tied into a topknot and a few wavy strands framing her face.

"Somebody help. Japan is taking over me," she wrote alongside a snap of her taking in some sun, dressed in a textured leather skirt and cropped white t-shirt.

How stunning?

It seems Perrie was ready for a fresh start after chopping her long blonde locks off back in March, just weeks after Zayn quit One Direction to return home to her.

From one gorgeous new hairstyle to another, can this blonde beauty do no wrong?

The 23-year-old has been making an effort to move on from her ex-fiancé of late – she's even made a very independent choice and moved into the house she and Zayn bought together back in July.

Perrie was spotted in London last week buying household supplies, including a vacuum cleaner, before heading back to the €6m mansion with her mother in tow.

Now that the Late Late Toy Show's over, it's time to shamelessly fill the void by watching tonnes of Christmas films.

And first on our list this weekend is Love Actually.

One of the most memorable moments from the Richard Curtis Christmas classic has to be little Joanna's rendition of All I Want For Christmas Is You, and we cannot get over how much she has grown up.

The film was released 12 years ago, after all, but even so, we were totally taken aback when we saw this.

Just look at the 23-year-old now…

Since starring in the festive rom-com, Olivia has had a few acting and singing roles, but she is mainly known for her voiceover work.

The actress voices Vanessa Doofenshmirtz on the Disney Channel comedy Phineas and Ferb, and is also the actress behind Marceline the Vampire Queen on Adventure Time.

In a cute coincidence (or fate trying to tell her something?), one of Olivia's Phineas and Ferb co-stars is Thomas Sangster, who of course played her smitten admirer in Love Actually.

Unlike Olivia, Thomas still looks as baby-faced as he did back in 2003, though we're sure he hates hearing that.

In fact, the youthful actor still has trouble getting served down the pub.

On a recent trip to Canada, he resorted to desperate measures when he was refused service at a bar and had no ID on him.

"For the first time in my life I got out my phone and looked myself up on IMDb," he told The Guardian back in April. "They laughed and even got me to sign my autograph. But they wouldn’t serve me that pint."

We'd probably do the same if that was our bar, to be fair…

If you have long hair, you no doubt have a hair tie somewhere on your person at the moment – in your handbag, your coat pocket or indeed, on your wrist.

But one US woman learnt the hard way that putting hair ties on your wrist can actually lead to serious bacterial infection.

Audree Kopp from Kentucky was rushed into emergency surgery last month after doctors discovered she had three types of harmful bacteria under her skin, most likely from the flat glittery hair tie she had been wearing around her wrist.

Speaking to a US news channel, Audree said she noticed something was amiss when the skin on her wrist began to swell – though she thought at first it was the result of a spider bite.

When prescription antibiotics failed to clear it up, Audree headed to the ER, where doctors examined her – and told her she was dangerously close to developing sepsis.

"Thank god that I caught it in time," she said.

"Once it gets into your bloodstream, people have been known to go into a coma, your body shuts down it could have been way worse."

According to her doctors, bacteria from things like dirty hair ties can seep under the skin through pores and hair follicles if left for too long.

In order to clear up the infection, doctors had to slice through the wound and drain it of puss. Delightful.

If you really can't get by without a hair tie to hand at all times, try one of these smoother hair ties, which are easier to clean:

Lesson learned.

Like the rest of us, Sharon Ní Bheoláin and Bryan Dobson were feeling a bit giddy with the excitement of last night's Toy Show.

Indeed, Sharon dropped her guard a bit when the cameras cut back to studio after a segment about it, and ended up calling her co-presenter by his nickname.

We've all been calling Bryan Dobson 'Dobbo' for YEARS, but who knew Sharon was in on the whole thing?

Amazing. Bryan's slightly shocked face says it all, really.

Of course, this isn't the first time Sharon has broken the (Irish) internet with by showing her true self off on air:

Gathered in our jammies, with a kilo of Cadbury Roses within arm's reach, we waited with bated breath for this year's Late Late Toy Show.

Would Ed Sheeran surprise someone again? Would we finally find our new John Joe? Maybe Bono and the lads would head over after their gig?

Well, not quite.

Last night's Toy Show was a very Irish spectacular indeed, with Evelyn Cusack as a "celebrity guest" and a "small farmer" named Fionn schooling us in the wonders of John Deere and how to rap.

As for Ryan, he definitely seemed to be high on life last night, especially for the opening number where he danced to Be Our Guest in a very fetching orange suit.

As always, Twitter was awash with #LateLateToyShow tweeting action – indeed, the hashtag was trending worldwide at various stages throughout the night.

A couple of months back, we reported that Selena Gomez had dropped a hefty some to have her house completely re-done to her tastes.

A fairylight-filled courtyard, chairs upholstered with the music to her favourite song, and even a white baby grand piano in her living room.

Now though, it seems like the singer has made like a property tycoon and "flipped" her first house – redecorating it to up the asking price.

Indeed, Selena purchased the house last year for €3.4million, and she's now looking for almost a million more, with an asking price of €4.3million.

Somehow we reckon she won't have much trouble selling this gaff, if the photos shared by Douglas Ellman Real Estate are anything to go by.

Just look at the snaps of the main living areas – even with most of the furniture gone – surely she took the piano and personalised chairs – it looks breathtaking:

But it's the outside that really has us swooning, complete with a swimming pool, huge dining table and even a pizza oven:

As soon as we win the Lotto, we're coming for this house.
