There has been significant backlash against this campaign in which pancreatic cancer sufferers say they wish they had other forms of cancer.

Pancreatic Cancer Action, the group behind the ads have said: “All cancer is dreadful and this campaign is not suggesting that anyone’s suffering resulting from cancer is worse than another’s. It simply expresses the real thoughts and feelings of many pancreatic cancer patients.”

The group has also said that their campaigns express “how it feels to be diagnosed with a disease that leaves you with no hope at all”.

Charlie Sheen has announced his engagement to former porn star Brett Rossi.

Charlie proposed on Saturday morning and if these two love birds make it to the alter, it will be his fourth  – yes, fourth – marriage.

You’ve got to respect a man who just doesn’t give up.

Well, we hope this will spur his Two and a Half Men replacement into getting down on one knee for our girl crush, Mila Kunis.

According to reports, Simon Cowell’s first words to his newly-born son were: “I’ve waited all my life for you.”

And we were hoping it was going to be “you definitely have the X Factor”.

Apparently the music mogul cried as he held his baby boy in his arms – so sweet! A pox on anyone who said Simon didn’t have a heart.

Baby Eric will have Philip has a middle name and it’s nice to see they didn’t go with ‘Simon’ after all.

Star of Juno and Inception, Ellen Page gave a deeply inspirational speech at the “Time to THRIVE” conference organised by the group Human Rights Campaign held in Las Vegas.

During her speech, which you can watch here, Ellen described her own difficulty with accepting her sexuality describing herself as: “tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission.”

Continuing on, Ellen told the audience of her wish to help others who may be going through what she went through: “I am gay … maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time … I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility.”

Ellen also spoke about the bullying endured by schoolchildren and her own suffering at the hands of media scrutiny.

Truly inspirational, well done Ellen!

Always making a stir on the red carpet, Naya isn’t afraid to take risks with her style, which can go wrong sometimes but we still love her for it.

The first dress is stunning, we love the colour block and train effect as well as the long sleeves which add a sleek and demure effect.

The second look is a classic monochrome outfit and the high waist black trousers look stunning on her figure. We aren’t so sure about the aqua heels though, the look would have been perfect finished off with black heels.

A daring daytime outfit this red and white combo looks great.

We cannot express our love for this skirt, chic and elegant we just adore this look on Naya. Although we do wish she wouldn’t cover her eyes with her hair.

It looks as if our favourite Scrubs characters will be recreated on the Broadway stage as the popular TV show is being made into a musical.

However, fans of J.D. may be disappointed to hear that Zach Braff will not be taking up his role on the stage production according to Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence: “Zach will be involved creatively because he’s a theatre lover like me, but part of the fun for us is that we would go with Broadway musical stars.”

Diligent Scrubs fans will know that music was always a big part of the series, from Ted’s A Capella group to the 2007 episode that was a musical so perhaps this idea of a stage musical isn’t so surprising after all!

These make a perfect mid-week meal. They are so easy to put together and the only thing you’ll probably need to buy is the turkey mince!

All of the spices in this dish have great health properties and will be really good for you, see why!

What you’ll need:
Makes 5 burgers

  • 500g turkey mince
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red apple
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Grate the red onion and apple into a large bowl and add all of the spices.
  3. Place the mince and mix to combine the ingredients together well.
  4. Shape into burger shapes and place onto a grill rack.
  5. Cook for about 30 minutes, turning once until cooked through.

A new movie still has been released for the film production of Fifty Shades of Grey that is set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2015.

The still appears to show Anastasia laying eyes on Christian for the first time.

Irish actor Jamie Dornan will be taking on the role of Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson will be playing Anastasia Steele. We can’t wait for next year!

Christina became engaged yesterday to her boyfriend of three years, Matt Rutler.

The singer uploaded a beautiful picture of a beach setting with her new ring the centre of attention, captioned: “He asked and I said….”

The stunning engagement ring appears to be vintage or vintage inspired and we must admit, we’re slightly in love with it!

Coca Cola is not just for drinking  – it’s a pretty handy domestic “tool” to have lying around.  Although you might be put off drinking it for a while after reading this…

An excellent rust buster
If you have a couple of rusty objects floating around, soak them in a coke overnight and then simply get a-scrubbing in the morning. The rust will disappear in front of your eyes.

Clean your clothes
Yes, Coke can free your clothes of grease and blood stains. Pour a can of Coke into your washing machine and put on a normal cycle. It’s also pretty handy for freshening up really smelly clothes.

Clean your car windows
Coke is really handy for removing dirt build up on car windows. Pour over the windscreen and rub off with a damp cloth.

De-blacken your pots
If you’,re prone to burning your dinner, this one will come in really handy. All you need to do is pour in enough Coke to cover the black layer and place it on a low heat for an hour. Simply wipe away – amazing!
