Kelly Osbourne and her mum Sharon Osbourne are collaborating with MAC cosmetics to create their very own range and we are very excited! The mother-daughter duo will be unveiling their 26-piece range in the UK this week and we can’t wait to see it.
The collection is based on Kelly’s love of vibrant colours, although the 29-year-old admits that they were slightly tweaked “so they’re a bit more for every woman”.
The range features mineralized make-up, lip and eye pencils, blushes and bronzers.
This is a dream come true for Kelly, especially as they are the first mother-daughter duo to design their own collection for MAC.
The Fashion Police host said: “Ever since I can remember, MAC has been my favourite make-up, not only for their wide range of colours but their ingenuity and forward thinking and how they are able to change public perception through the use of make-up.”
The range launches on Tuesday, 10th June and we can’t wait!
Miss USA contestant, Valerie Gatto, is using her own tragic experience to raise awareness of sexual assault and rape.
The brave beauty pageant contestant told the story of how her mother was raped at knifepoint, aged 19: “Being a child of rape, not knowing who my father is, not knowing if he’s ever been found, most people would think it’s such a negative situation … I believe God put me here for a reason: to inspire people, to encourage them, to give them a hope that everything is possible and you can’t let your circumstances define your life.”
Valerie explained that she first found out about what had happened to her mum when she was in thirds grade and began to ask questions about her dad, she says her mum responded by saying: “Something bad happened to me. A very bad man hurt me but God gave me you.”
Miss Pennsylvania revealed her mum’s tragic story saying that she was leaving work when she was attacked at knifepoint and raped behind a building, until a car shone its lights and scared the attacker away.
Ms Gatto is now using her experience to raise awareness of sexual assault and rape, in a bid to protect potential victims, telling NBC’s Today, she said: “I hope to show others how to be proactive, what to do, to be present, to be aware of your surroundings, little things like that … I’m educating women about a topic that’s so serious, but it’s so awesome to see their responses. They say it changes their life.”
The Liquor Rooms on Dublin’s Wellington Quay have been nominated in this year’s Best New International Cocktail Bar category for the Tales of the Cocktail 2014 Spirited Awards.
The Liquor Rooms are the first Republic of Ireland cocktail bar to ever receive a nomination in the awards, so it’s a pretty big deal! Especially since these awards were set up originally to recognise the best bars, bartenders and spirits professionals from all across the globe.
General Manager Kevin Hurley said, “We are honoured to be the first bar from the Republic of Ireland to be shortlisted for an award at Tales of the Cocktail. This is the highest possible honour a cocktail bar can receive and to be mentioned in the company of the best bars in the world is truly humbling. I am so proud of all our staff and this is fantastic recognition for all the hard work we have put in on both sides of the bar since opening last August.”
Alan Kavanagh, of the Tales of the Cocktail International Judging Committee praised Ireland for its growing cocktail scene:
“The Irish cocktail scene has grown steadily for the past 5-6 years, driven by some of the most enthusiastic and creative bartenders within the worldwide hospitality industry. This exciting achievement is a credit to Kevin, Alan and all The Liquor Rooms staff on their commitment to deliver not only fantastic cocktails, but hospitality and service second to none.”
The awards will be announced on July 19 during Tales of the Cocktail, the cocktail festival held July 16-20 in New Orleans. Best of luck guys!

1. Pokemon Pokemon was probably the biggest craze of the ’90s; from video games to collecting cards, you had to catch them all! Sorry…
2. Yu-Gi-Oh! Slightly less popular (or cool) as Pokemon, nonetheless this craze had a massive following back in the ’90s and early ’00s.
3. Polly Pocket Every girl had a Polly Pocket – and all the cool girls had LOADS of Polly Pockets. Looking back, those small parts cannot be good for kids to play with.
4. Tamagotchi These were supposed to be like having a pet without actually having a pet. When they got abandoned after a week, we finally realised why we weren’t allowed to get a dog after all.
5. Light-Up runners These made you run faster. Fact. Not good to wear during Hide n’ Seek.
6. Scooters/Skateboards/Rollerblades These are all still pretty cool, but our tricks have gotten a little rusty.
7. Learning to draw this And it was always way cooler of your name began with an ‘S’!

It didn’t matter how many of these were confiscated, you can always make more.

12. Scoubidou bracelets They look so intricate but once you get the hang of it you give one to everyone you know. Including you nan.

It looks as if things may be getting back on track for Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Chris Martin.
In a photo obtained from an Instagram user, i687677, by Radar, the estranged couple can be seen having a close lunch together.
The couple announced their separation (or conscious uncoupling) back in March, but are said to have remained on good terms.
Gwyneth and Chris have two children together, Apple and Moses.
While the photos may not prove that the couple have decided to reunite, it is good to see them enjoying each other’s company despite their problems. Hopefully, it will lead to more in time!

Scarlett was speaking about the new genre of fans she has gained recently due to roles in movies such as The Avengers: “It’s little girls … it’s funny because they probably can’t see all the movies I have done.”
However, it would appear the actress didn’t know how to feel when she was compared to Taylor Swift, saying: “The other day I was in the airport and somebody said to me, ‘Oh my daughter is your biggest fan and she loves your work so much. Are you Taylor Swift?’ I was like, ‘Wow that radiant youth cream works.’ She’s also like six foot tall or something. I went to my friend, ‘How should I feel about this? Appalled? Thrilled? Or not think about it too much?'”
Well, we certainly wouldn’t complain if somebody mistook us for the lovely Taylor, that’s for sure!
