The star of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre Marilyn Burns has been found dead in her Texas home at the age of 65.
She was found by a family member, but the cause of death is not yet known.
In the 1974 film, Marilyn played the only survivor, and had cameo appearances in the 1994 and 2013 remakes. She also had a role in the 1976 TV movie Helter Skelter.
Our condolences go out to her family and friends.
James Corden has been announced as the new host of CBS’ The Late Late Show and will replace Craig Ferguson.
The Gavin and Stacey funnyman is not well-known over in the US, but that is all set to change very soon!
Many media outlets in America have printed articles describing James' successful UK career to date in a bid to enlighten future viewers.
It was announced back in April that Craig was planning to leave the chat show: “At the end of this year I will be stepping down as the host of the show.”
Craig, a Scottish TV presenter, has been the host of The Late Late Show for the past decade after taking over from Craig Kilborn in 2004.

An Indian fashion photographer has released controversial images of an Indian woman surrounded by men on a bus, and fending off their advances.
The photo series “The Wrong Turn” was created by Mumbai photographer Raj Shetye.
Raj said he came up with the idea as a way of highlighting what Indian women go through on a daily basis on public transport.
But not everyone has reacted positively to the photo shoot. Many users have commented on Twitter, that Shetye is glamorising the serious issues of sexual assault of women in India.
Raj has insisted he’s not “glamorising” sexual harassment but raising the issue in the only way he knows how.
“Being a photographer, the only medium I can communicate in is photos. For me, its as simple as that. It’s art. Making movies, writing articles, making a poem – these are all ways of addressing the topic. Being a fashion photographer, this is what I can do best.”

Chinese shops have apparently started selling underwear peaches as novelty gifts.
The peaches which are known as “When the honey peach Ripens” in Mandarin – were sold in preparation for China’s Valentine’s Day on August 2nd.
The images of the underwear have become such a viral hit, that the creator Mr. Yao has reportedly applied for a patent for the underwear peaches.
They may be popular but they’re not cheap, as a box of underwear peaches (nine peaches) costs $80. Hmmm, we think we’ll stick to a normal box of fruit, thanks.

Fingal County Council has issued a warning not to swim at any of these beaches as pump station overflow caused by recent bad weather has affected the water. Warnings have been placed at all the affected beaches, but the ban is only meant to last about three days, and so is the rain, so you shouldn’t feel too hard done by!
Don and Maxine Simpson, who had been together for 60 years, died just four hours apart from one another.
The couple spent their last moments together in hospital holding hands.
Don and Maxine met in the 1950s and spent the rest of their lives touring the world together before adopting two little boys and settling down in California.
Their granddaughter Melissa Sloan shared photographs of the couple together, including a touching black and white image of them holding hands taken as they passed their final moments together.
She said: “We kept them together, and had their beds side-by-side. Gram woke up and saw him, and held hands and they knew that they were next to each other. I knew in my heart this is what’s supposed to happen. Grandma and grandpa are supposed to be together and grandma and grandpa are going to die together.”
Joe Jonas and his model girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler have split up after 20 months together.
Joe’s representative confirmed the news saying: “Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways. The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another.”
We hate that Blanda has joined the list of Joe’s exes (Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Camilla Belle and Ashley Greene – he gets around, eh?). It was only last December that Joe was gushing about his girlfriend saying he was finally with someone he really cared about, and that they “really get each other”.
It looks like their relationship was on the way out for a while though. Apparently the pair were spotted out at a party in June and they weren’t getting on so well. One onlooker said: “He posed for photos by himself and then stormed inside”.
A source has said that “Joe wants to be single right now and they thought it was better if they are just friends”.

We all saw Kim Kardashian’s bikini body when she was on her second honeymoon in Mexico, and we were all sick with jealousy over it. So why is the queen of reality TV ranting and raving about her inability to lose more weight?

Professor Yves Kamami, a leading global expert in snoring has spoken out about how if left untreated, snoring heavily can lead to snorers suffering from a stroke:
“Ninety per cent of snorers are 'simple snorers'. However, if you don't treat the snorers after a few years, it starts to become sleep apnoea syndrome. The patient stops breathing during the night – there is an obstruction at the back of the throat and nose.
“Because of the obstruction, there is a lack of oxygen going to the brain. So the patient is suffering from apoxia [oxygen deficiency in the blood]. This can lead to strokes and other major things.”
Men are most likely to suffer from sleep apnoea syndrome, but anyone can get it, even children. Common characteristics of people with sleep apnoea syndrome are being overweight, have large tonsils, a large tongue, a small jaw bone or a large neck (a circumference of 17 inches or above for men, 16 inches for women).
If you’re a heavy snorer and often wake up tired despite having slept through the night, you could have sleep apnoea syndrome. Kamami describes exactly what it is: “The patient stops breathing during the night due to an obstruction at the back of the throat and the nose. Because of the obstruction there is a lack of oxygen in the brain. Someone who has sleep apnoea or snoring does not have a restful night's sleep. They may suffer tiredness in the morning. With each passing year an ever greater number of ailments are linked to apnoea.
“Glaucoma of the eyes is caused by sleep apnoea. We have diabetes caused by sleep apnoea. Year after year we are seeing that sleep apnoea syndrome is causing many more diseases.”
Yikes! If you think you could be suffering from this, you should probably get it seen to ASAP!
Things are getting pretty serious between Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed as the couple have now adopted a horse together.
Yes, you read that right. Ian revealed his latest addition with a picture of him hugging his new horse.
Ian captioned the snap: “Proud new dad. What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big bad boy.”
