Not only has Irish musician Hozier made platinum in Ireland with his debut album, he's making a huge name for himself overseas too. The Take Me To Church singer has had appearances on the Ellen show, David Letterman and even has an upcoming performance on Saturday Night Live.

Forget about all of that though – we've found the real seal of approval. Turns out that the one and only Taylor Swift is Hozier's new number one fan… and if this video is anything to go by, she is making no secret of the fact that she loves the Wicklow man's tunes.

Taylor posted this clip to her Instagram account last night, with the caption, "When attending a Hozier concert, it's very important to accompany the band on your invisible instruments."

The singer bopped along to Sedated with her BFF Abigail Anderson, and the two had a pretty impressive air-drumming session.

We wonder if Hozier will return the favour with some twerking to Shake It Off… somehow we doubt it!

Not to be outdone by Burger King and their completely black ‘Kuro Burger’, McDonald's in Japan is now offering black Squid Ink (Ikasumi) Burger in time for Halloween.

The burger’s colouring is all natural squid ink, but customers’ pictures show that in reality the burger is a sort of putrid grey-brown rather than black.

The also have a second ghostly white burger for Halloween, which contains the terrifyingly spooky ingredients of chicken and camembert. Yeah, we don’t get it either.

The burgers are being tried out in just three McDonald's branches in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district.

Spooky though they are, we can’t see them making their way over to Irish menus any time soon.

Justin Bieber needs some serious anger management lessons!

The star is courting controversy again after he was pictured squaring up to paparazzi in Paris on Tuesday night, appearing to punch one photographer and grab another by the neck.

It's been reported that Biebs and his minders were trying to clear the paps out of the way as they entered their hotel.

This isn't the first time Justin's let his temper get the better of him with paparrazi. He was sued for assault last June after getting physical with a photographer in California, kicking him in the stomach and punching him in the face.

Tuesday was a scandalous night all round for Justin, who had just returned from dinner with Kendall Jenner, while on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez was nowhere in sight.

Selena and Justin were in Paris at the same time but seemed to have quiet separate schedules, and she has since returned home to Los Angeles. A cryptic tweet from the actress last night suggests all might not be well for the two lovebirds:

A tangled web!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so we are going to give you the lowdown on how and when you need to check your breasts.

Firstly, it’s important to check your breasts regularly – as in every time you shower.

About once a month you should do a thorough check of your breasts.

Changes to look out for when checking your breasts include:

  • A lump or thickening in the breast or under the armpit
  • Pain in one of the breasts or armpit
  • Puckering or dimpling of the breast skin
  • Pulling in of the nipple
  • Reddness of the breast skin
  • Nipple rash
  • Discharge or bleeding from the nipple
  • Changes in the shape or size of the breasts or nipple
  • A change in the position of the nipple

Cancer.ie notes that 9 out of 10 breast lumps are harmless but if anything is bothering you about your breasts please visit a GP so they can put your mind and ease and do any further investigating that may need to be done.

Checking regularly for changes in your breasts can catch anything that may be worrying early and is therefore really important in the fight against breast cancer – which is one we all want to win.

It's the baby news we've all been waiting for!

Star couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis last night welcomed a baby girl into the world.

Both baby and mum are "happy and healthy" according to a source close to the couple. Ashton was by Mila's side during the birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The stars, who got engaged in February, had originally tried to keep their pregnancy a secret but they finally confirmed the news during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show earlier this year.

In an interview with Ellen, Mila said she was planning for an epidural-free birth. "I’m going to do it as all natural as I possibly can unless there’s an emergency or something that should go wrong," she said.

We're glad to hear everything went smoothly!

High heels may look pretty but they are also the devil's work. Blisters, cuts, aching feet… us ladies go through a lot for the sake of our heels!

If you really can't live without your stilettos, here are a few tips to help ease the pain…

1. Choose platforms and wedges where possible
Chunkier platforms decrease the distance between your heel and the ball of your foot, meaning there's less pressure on your toes. Believe us, you'll notice the difference when you are still pain-free, rather than tip-toeing home with your heels in your hand.

2. Take notice of the heel cup
The "heel cup" is the area at the back of the shoe that covers your ankle and heel. This is usually stiffer than the rest of the shoe – meaning it won't lose its shape, but it'll also give you those dreaded blisters. Splurge on shoes made from softer leather or suede to avoid this issue, or if you're tight for cash be sure to apply a gel pad or plaster to the offending area.

3. Stroll around the shop, for more than five seconds
Don't just do a little twirl in the mirror and be done with it when trying on your shoes. Go for a proper walk around the shop and try to walk on tiled areas rather than carpet, to get a better idea of how the heels will feel outside. Take notice of any pain or areas of high pressure – if they hurt now you can be sure they'll be killing you after a few hours of wear!

4. Tape up your toes
It's not as extreme as it sounds! If you just have to wear your favourite heels even though they leave you wincing in pain, try taping the third and fourth toes of each foot together (counting in from your big toe) with some medical tape. This helps to reduce pain in the ball of your foot, as it removes strain on a split nerve between those two toes.

5. Walk tall!
Posture is everything when you're wearing heels! When you're in flats you can get away with slouching a little, but a straight neck and back are key to reducing pain when wearing those killer stilettos. Keep your spine straight, as if you're being pulled up by a string. Your whole body will thank you, not just your feet!

Stripes are always in – they look chic, sophisticated and can turn a plain outfit into something a little more wow. If you are worried about being able to pull it off, we have five ways you can incorporate it into your style without looking like a zebra.

Trousers

These trousers are gorgeous. The vertical line will also make you seem taller and create a pretty dramatic statement piece.

Top

This is a classic look that will never go out of fashion. Paired with jeans or even navy trousers it really is a sophisticated, simple look.

Skirt

It’s not all about navy and white stripes. Add a pop of colour to your day with a gorgeous skirt like this. It will certainly leave an impression.

Scarf

If you still aren’t feeling brave, a cute scarf around a plain white tee is a really easy and effective way to incorporate hints of the stripe into your outfit.

Handbag

It’s not all about clothes. A handbag is another great way to work a stripe.

Made in Chelsea star, Binky Feltstead is ditching the make-up for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Binky, whose real name is Alexandra, announced her plan to join the #DaretoBare campaign – which urges women to put down the make-up for a day, a week or even a month in order to raise money and awareness for breast cancer – in her beauty blog on The Daily Mail.

She did admit that it wouldn’t be easy to go bare faced for a whole month saying: “As a self-confessed beauty junkie, I admit giving up make-up is quite a daunting prospect.”

The reality TV star also shared a picture of her make-up free face and assured her reader she was NOT wearing make-up: “Before anyone says anything, I’m not wearing mascara! I have semi-permanent last extensions that I can’t remove, but I can assure you I’m completely bare-faced.”

Binky looks great we think this month will be a breeze for her – and who knows, maybe she’ll give it up for good!

Ben Affleck is a brave man! Not only was he willing to put his manhood on show for a new film, but he chose to do it for the biggest films of the year.

The actor revealed that he got totally full frontal during one blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene in Gone Girl, which hits cinemas tomorrow.

"There is some very brief nudity…This is a warts and all movie," he explained in an interview.

"It can have no vanity. You have to see the naked underbelly of this character."

And, in case you were under any illusion about what to expect, Ben pretty much spelled things out. "The penis is in there!" he said during the chat.

"It costs extra. It's IMAX penis! You've gotta pay fifteen bucks to see it in 3-D," he joked. "It looks better in 3-D."

Of course, if you think Ben's looking a little bit… petite… there' s a reason for that. "It was a very cold set. It was freezing. It was subzero," said the actor. Suuuure!

This cover of Nicki Minaj’s 'Anaconda' is simply genius!

Described by the makers as a “vintage bluegrass hoedown” this is one version of the song we have no problem listening to!

The video is much safer for work than the original too which is great…!
