Well this adds a whole new meaning to the term ‘junk food’!

A café in Bristol, England has come up with a novel way of serving the masses while ensuring that no food goes to waste – by making their meals from food that is past its sell-by date and has been rescued from supermarket and restaurant bins.

While the idea may not sound so appetising to begin with, the directors and volunteers from Skipchen reveal that they get their food from the skips as soon as they have been thrown away, and they are meticulous when it comes to food safety and hygiene.

Indeed, fans of the latest food sensation can follow the daily journey of their food, with the staff even posting pictures of the food they collect, as well as their menu for the day.

With a “pay-as-you-feel” system operating, Skipchen’s directors have said that they are hoping their innovative approach to dining will highlight the issue of food waste in the UK and beyond.

And it seems that Skipchen is fast-becoming the hip spot to eat your lunch, with Twitter users showing an overwhelming enthusiasm for the idea.

“Can’t wait for my first lunch @Skipchen…Fabulous idea,” writes one user.

Move over Sophia Vergara and Joe Manganiello – there’s a new hot couple in town!

The Saturdays’ Mollie King and model David Gandy were spotted holding hands in London yesterday, confirming the rumours that they have rekindled their relationship.

Mollie and David’s on-off relationship dates back as far as 2011 when they dated for ten months before splitting.

The couple were spotted on what seemed like a date during the summer, but at the time Mollie was thought to be in a relationship with Jordan Omley, who it has now emerged she had split with earlier this year. 

David wasn't there for the #habs (husbands and boyfriends) surprise during The Saturdays' tour, so perhaps their rekindled romance is newer that we think!

We're slightly heartbroken that the beautiful David is off the market but if it has to be with anyone, Mollie is perfect!

Actor Nicholas Hoult has finally spoken out about the nude photo leak scandal, which most notably affected his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.

The couple were together on-and-off for three years, and Jennifer herself admitted the photos stolen from her iCloud account were meant for NIcholas' eyes only.

"I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you," she said in a recent head-on chat with Vanity Fair.

Nicholas branded the leak as "shocking" in an interview yesterday while promoting his new film The Young Ones. 

Interviewer Rosanna Scotto awkwardly broached the subject of Jen's nude photos, saying "I think they might have been pictures that were sent to you… I was wondering how you felt about that."

While Nicholas didn't confirm or deny that the photos were meant for him, he did express his disgust at the hackers' actions. "It's shocking that things like that happen in the world," he said "It's a shame."

The couple met back in 2011 while filming X-Men: First Class together, and remained together on and off until this August.

Jennifer is now dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin – the two have been seen together numerous times in recent weeks.

Katy Perry must be delighted this morning with the news emerging that she will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show next year.

The singer will follow in the footsteps of Beyoncé, Madonna, Bruno Mars and The Black Eyed Peas when she takes to the stage at the iconic event in Arizona next February.

Other rumoured contenders are Rihanna and Coldplay. Could there be a joint concert on the cards?!

Katy Perry had previously dismissed speculation that she would be taking part in next year's show, saying she was "not that kind of girl." However she did acknowledge that the issue had been discussed, saying, "We had some conversations, and I would be honoured, of course, but … the ball is in their field."

Katy initially turned the gig down when it was announced that musicians would now be expected to pay a fee to perform at the Super Bowl, which last year pulled in a record 111.5 million viewers. Wow.

However with a large gap in her tour dates early next year, a Super Bowl performance would certainly be a good business move for the Prism singer, regardless of the cost!

We can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve!

The chances are that we have all been told at one point to gorge on grapefruit when we’re feeling fluey, but a new study has suggested that its health benefits may go far beyond that.

New research suggests that grapefruit may lower the potential weight gained from eating fatty foods by up to a fifth, while it may also help in the management of diabetes, by lowering blood sugar and insulin levels.

While this all sounds rather amazing, these findings are actually based on experiments that were carried out on mice, but experts believe that the results definitely warrant further investigation on humans.

It also suggests that the grapefruit diet, also known as the Hollywood Diet – where you consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice with every meal, as part of a balanced diet – may actually be effective.

Interestingly, this study showed that the grapefruit only affected weight gain in this way when the subjects were eating fatty foods.

We know what’s going at the top of the shopping list next week!

Reality star Kendra Wilkinson seemed like she was trying hard to get her marriage back on track, but now a new revelation has shaken things up all over again.

Kendra was left distraught after an audio clip leaked online this week, reportedly of a conversation between Kendra's husband Hank Baskett and a transsexual model, Ava Sabrina London.

Rumours that Hank cheated on Kendra with the model have been circulating for the last six months but up until now Hank has denied everything.

in the audio, a man, strongly believed to be Hank, can be heard discussing with his mistress whether or not she has told anyone about their fling.

“I just wanted to confirm that you hadn’t said anything,” the caller tells Ava on the recording. “They just said two weeks before Kendra was pregnant that I hooked up … I hate to say it ‘cause I would never say this word, but they said I hooked up with a tranny.”

“I didn’t say nothing,” Ava replies, before 'Hank' promises to "reimburse" her for her troubles to the tune of $5,000. "I just don't want to lose my family," he adds.

In a recent interview, Kendra said she wanted to believe her husband's denial of the allegations. "They claim that there’s a polygraph out there, they claim that there’s proof out there that my husband cheated on me. But as time went on, four months later, if you really look at it, there really is no proof," she said.

Now though, she has been forced to reconsider things, with a friend describing her as "hysterical," adding that "right now she is really letting everything soak in before figuring out what happens next."

Another source revealed that Kendra's next step may be a permanent split from Hank, with whom she has two young children. "She is reconsidering the divorce. It's an on-going battle. One minute she wants to do it and another she doesn't," said the source. 

"She goes back-and-forth in her head about what marriage is supposed to be, through the good and bad, thick and thin, but in light of what has happened it has forced her once again to reevaluate everything."

While the worrying thigh gap "trend" is undoubtedly a serious issue, we just couldn’t resist sharing this hilarious new sketch video.

Like us, the Just Boobs Sketch comedy group are fed up of the glorification of the thigh gap, and they have come up with one of the funniest responses to this worrying new trend.

Featuring a not-so-subtle reference to a certain US fashion retailer, the comediennes play four ridiculously excited fashionistas, all raving about the latest piece of style innovation: thigh gap jeans!

We dare you not to burst out laughing when you see their waddles as they model the ridiculous new product.

You can’t say she didn’t warn us.

Taylor Swift recently told Rolling Stone magazine that one or two of the tracks from her new album, 1989, would be about her ill-fated relationship with Harry Styles….

And it seems her new single, Out of the Woods, is the first one up!

According to the singer herself, the song tells the tale of a relationship that is described as a “struggle”, where the couple in question (Harry and Taylor, duh) were “just trying to make it to next week”.

It doesn’t paint an altogether pleasant image of their short-lived relationship, but given just how much pressure and scrutiny they were under, it makes total sense.

Interestingly, the song also supposedly references a secret snowmobile ride which ended in both Taylor and her mystery man having to pay a visit to the emergency room.

How very dramatic.

Harry and Taylor dated for a number of months back in 2012, being pictured strolling around hand-in-hand on a string of cosy dates. It didn’t last long however, and they reportedly split in the New Year in 2013, leaving Taylor supposedly heartbroken.

Can we please just hear that track already?

She is arguably one of the most stylish women in the world, so the news that Olivia Palermo is planning to launch her own fashion house is pretty exciting.

In a new interview with The Edit, the style icon and former star of The City has admitted that a clothing line is something that is definitely on the cards, although we may have to wait a little while longer.

“I have my hands full at the moment,” explains the 28-year-old, adding, “I would love to start my own [fashion] house but it’s not the right time. I feel like I can do it in stages and when the timing is right to do it, then I will.”

We can safely say that we will be at the top of the queue, purses flailing in the air, when this project goes down!

Of course, Olivia is no stranger to fashion design. While her fashion website is her main focus right now, she recently teamed up with label Aquazurra on a pretty epic shoe collection. Ranging from sexy knee-high boots to pretty embellished stilettos, the collaboration proved to be as successful as it was stunning.

We love Olivia’s immaculate style, and hope she doesn’t wait too long to grace us with some House of Palermo designs!

Oh Justin. Justin. Justin. Justin – when will you learn?!

It’s been a bit of a mixed week for the singer; on the one hand, he’s probably cursing his stupidity for causing the latest break-up with Selena, while on the other, he appears to have had a ball spending €20,000 on a private tour of Vatican City.

But while he had no problem splashing the cash to check out the popular tourist spot, it seems he caused some upset by kicking a ball around the halls of the city’s historic buildings!

Apparently Bieber's annoying antics did not go down too well with the locals, who considered his behaviour to be disrespectful.

Seriously, did he have any awareness of his surroundings?!

Not that we should be surprised – this is the guy who once referred to the famous Sistine Chapel as the 16th Chapel, and had to be carried up the Great Wall of China on the shoulders of his bodyguards!

We guess we’ll just have to put this latest incident down to the fact that he’s nursing a broken heart.

We have been waiting patiently for weeks, but Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have finally revealed the name they gave their daughter – and it’s so beautiful.

According to a birth certificate obtained by entertainment website TMZ, the couple have chosen to name their daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling.

A Disney-inspired name – who would have thought it?!

Eva gave birth to the couple’s first child on September 12th, but the couple remained tight-lipped over details of her birth, including the name.

While we have yet to see a picture of the Hollywood couple’s daughter, we are sure that she is just as beautiful as her name!

What stars did we get for you this week you ask? Well only your man from Fast and Furious Luke Evans and Amazing Spiderman 2’s Sarah Gadon. These two beauts have combined forces and taken on the lead roles in Dracula Untold and your Snapshot host Niamh Geaney met them on the red carpet for the chats. While there, she also got speaking to its Irish Director Gary Shore who directed this 100 million feature film, which also happens to be his first film ever. Now that’s impressive! We also caught up with Irish actor Diarmuid Murtagh who’s about to play the lead in a CBS minis series. All that and more!

Dracula Untold was screened by the Jameson Dublin Film Festival in aid of the St Francis Hospice in Raheny. JDIFF takes place from the 19th-29th of March 2015.
