Give everything its own space – and stick to it.
If you can clearly see where something belongs, you’ll put it there. Whereas if everything is in a jumble in your room you’ll just go along with it. Create a system!
If you don’t need it, bin it
Holding on to things you don’t need will just create clutter, and it’s very hard to be organised when you’re surrounded by clutter!
Keep important documents in one place
Bills, birth certs, tax documents – all these things get lost very easily but are very important. Keep them all in the same place so you remember where they are.
Storage boxes
If you’re short on actual storage space you can always get clear plastic boxes and use them instead. At least everything will have somewhere to go when you’re finished with it.
USE your calendar
It’s not just there as a decoration you know (though Mr. June is looking VERY well). Make use of your calendar so you don’t forget important dates.
Make lists
We all love making lists, don’t we? They’re good stress relievers too because once you have it down on a list you don’t have to keep mentally reminding yourself of what you have to do!
Get a good handbag
They’re getting bigger everyday, so it’s easy to lose things in the depths of your handbag. Having one with different sections is a good idea as you can designate areas, and you won’t spend ten minutes looking for your purse when you’re at the check out!
What are your three most important tasks?
Identify the top three things that you absolutely have to get done in one day. Prioritising is the key to success people!
Learn to say no
If you find that your to-do list keeps getting longer because of requests from other people, learn to say no. You need to be aware of you limitations, and it’s nothing to feel guilty about.
Do it now!
Stop procrastinating! If it can be done today, do it today. Obviously don’t stress yourself out, but if you find yourself putting things off just because of laziness, then give yourself a mental slap, get up off the sofa, and Get. It. Done.
Who would have thought Ireland could create an epic fantasy/horror film to rival the likes of Twilight or Lord of the Rings? But Dracula Untold – directed by Irishman Gary Shore and filmed in Northern Ireland – actually looks really, really good.
It tells the story of Dracula, but with a twist. Check out the trailer to see for yourself, but you’ll ave to wait till October 17th to see the whole thing!
Eek, we’re not sure the Queen will be too happy about Pippa Middleton’s latest move!
The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, has given her first ever TV interview in which she opened up about her relationship with her sister.
The royal family are known to be very private when it comes to interviews and it is very rarely done. Although Pippa may not be a member of the royal family by right, we have a feeling this move would be frowned upon.
The interview with the TODAY show is due to air today and tomorrow in America and features the socialite opening up about Kate: “We have a very normal, sisterly relationship. We’re very close. And, you know, we support each other and get each other’s opinions and things. I think that’s really the heart for all of us is having a really close family that we can sort of be normal with each other, treat each other normally. And that’s sort of kept us all, you know, affixed to the ground.”
Aww, although it may not be the done thing for the royal family to give interviews, we really loved getting a glimpse into the relationship between the sisters.
When it comes to the big day, there are numerous photos that many brides would like to capture, including that special shot with her bridesmaids.
But there might be one photographical trends that some brides and bridesmaids may want jump on which is called….well it doesn’t have a name, but it’s taking America by storm.
The new photo trend requires the bridesmaids to show off their bare behinds when taking wedding photos.
Well we’re not so sure what to think about this latest wedding trend but who knows, it could be arriving to our Irish shores a lot sooner than we think.
Ronan Keating was in the nation’s bad books after cheating on his wife Yvonne, but it seems he’s put the past behind him and is really enjoying being in love again.
The former Boyzone frontman says that his new girlfriend Storm was a lifesaver: “Storm came into my life when I was lost and I was struggling.
“I was in a very dark place and very lonely. I found Storm and she found me when we were both going through difficult times (Storm had recently divorced), and it’s been incredible. We’re very lucky to have each other.
“We were going through the same thing. She makes me happy and if somebody makes you happy you don’t want that not to be there anymore. You want to feel that way all the time. It’s romantic, it’s wonderful.”
When asked how his new relationship compares to his marriage with Yvonne (an awful question, by all accounts) Ronan thankfully refused to answer: “I’m not going to compare it. Everything is what it is. We make decisions that we’re accountable for; I’m not going to say one thing is better than the other because that’s not fair on anybody.”
Phew! That could have gotten really awkward!
That’s right, it’s another viral wedding video.
The groom Sean Rajaee surprised his bride Ariana with his special dance routine.
The dance started off with a Beyonce song then went into Ariana’s favourite boy band the Backstreet Boys, and ended with the Bruno Mars song, Marry You.
Sean’s sister was quick to post the video online and needless to say it’s become a viral hit.
He may be part of one of the biggest boy bands known to man, but that doesn’t mean One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson can get away with charging £250 for a selfie.
He’d trying to raise money for his recently purchased football team, but apparently he’s only managed to sell 53 out of his 494 selfies. He wants to raise £2million, but so far he’s only managed to scrape together £624.271. Yikes.
A source said: “It’s not going as well as Louis hoped, many thought that the hysteria from the 1D fans would be much more than it is.”
As did we! Perhaps this will teach Louis not to take his fans for granted – and to reach into his own pocket when he needs some cash!
Facebook have come under fire after it was revealed that the social media giant conducted an experiment on 700,000 users without them knowing, and they didn’t have to get their permission as the experiment fell under their data use policy.
The company wanted to test to see if they could influence our moods by changing the algorithm of the site for one week in July 2012. They either removed all the happy posts from your timeline, or removed all the sad and angry ones.
Christian Sandvig, an Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Information at the University of Michigan said that the experiment was not ethical, and tweeted: “*Probably* nobody was driven to suicide #jokingnotjoking”
Hmmm… sounds a bit dodgy to us. Though we were interested to find out the results! The researchers found that emotions actually are contagious: “When positive expressions were reduced, people produced fewer positive posts and more negative posts; when negative expressions were reduced, the opposite pattern occurred”.

The thoughts of someone’s armpit hair coming within 10 foot can cause us to break out into a cold sweat, but why?
It seems that there is a study on everything now after Breanne Fahs, a professor at Arizona State, published a paper that studies women’s disgust of body hair, including their own.
The study which was published in the Psychology of Women Quarterly saw Breanne asking 20 women how they felt about shaving, other women’s shaving and body hair. While shaving was considered to be a bit of a nuisance – something we can all relate to – body hair was considered gross.
One respondent said: “I think women who don’t shave are a little gross. Because sometimes, like if people don’t shave their entire lives, that’s just a little too much to handle for me. I always shave. I don’t like hair. I shave everything.”
The study also asked women to grow body hair for 10 weeks and record it in a diary. Apparently they got extra credit in Breanne’s class if they did it – not sure extra credit would be enough of an incentive for us…
Extracts from the journals showed how the participants felt about body hair with some calling it “gross hair”. Some were even told that they were gross and unclean, which we think is a little bit mean and uncalled for.
Unfortunately, while men are (usually) applauded for their body hair, women aren’t. However, it seems things are changing – remember, Madonna’s body hair selfie? Yeah we can’t get the image out of our head either!
Cheryl Cole turns 31 today, though she sensibly decided to celebrate a day early – and it looks like her French boyfriend really upped the romance level for the occasion!
The singer shared a snap of herself looking fab (nothing new there so!) and she was surrounded by beautiful bunches of red roses while sipping what looks like red wine.
She looks amazing – and hasn’t aged a day since her 21st birthday either if this throwback snap is anything to go by.

It seems Harry Styles has had a slap on the wrist by his bosses for taking a risky leap off a bridge in Italy!
Harry and the rest of the 1D boys are in Italy as part of the European leg of their Where We Are tour, and the naughty singer decided to cool off by jumping off a bridge semi-naked.
The boy’s management are said to have been furious with Harry when they saw the snaps, as they said he could have seriously hurt himself when he hit the water.
While the other boys jumped in too, only Harry showed off by jumping in from a bigger height.
Oh Harry…what would your mother say!
