Irish model and mum-of-one Sarah McGovern has slammed Kim Kardashian for piecing baby North’s ears.

The model, who has a five month old daughter and two-year-old son, has said that no one should do what Kim and Kanye did for North’s first birthday:

“I was in Portugal for a few days and I saw a baby over there, she was about five months old, and she had her ears pierced and I was thinking, ‘There’s no way I’d do that’.

“It must be a Mediterranean thing but it’s a fashion thing as well. I think it’s a bit cruel to be honest.

“The baby doesn’t even know any different, it’s more for the parents and it must hurt having it done.

“Maybe when they’re communion age and they can make up their own mind about it, that’s different.”

Sarah is currently working on a project launching Spanish perfume company Saphir into Ireland.

While we’re not too pleased with Miss Travel’s recent survey results, we know for sure that our fellas will be pleased.

Miss Travel (a travel website) has decided to conduct a survey in order to rank the most attractive nations in the world.

According to their survey, Irish guys are ranked as the seventh most attractive males in the whole world, while Australian men are considered to be the hottest.

But same can’t be said for the Irish gals unfortunately, as Miss Travel has revealed that Brazil has the most attractive women in the world, while poor Ireland didn’t even make the cut. Ouch!

Oh well, at least our fellas got a boost for once.

Chicken
You probably notice – we sure do – that your hair sheds every day. In order to avoid baldness (bit drastic, we know) you need protein in your diet which you can get from chicken to encourage regrowth.

Sunflower seeds
Not sure about you but we love sunflower seeds here. Not only are they tasty, they are perfect for protecting your hair from the sun which can damage it and cause dryness.

Beef
Beef is a great source of zinc which is important for giving you a shiny, full head of hair.

Salmon
Salmon is packed with Omega-3 fatty acids which helps to keep your hair strong and your scalp healthy.

Yogurt

It looks like there is no accounting for the appeal of a bad boy! Women all over the world have been getting a little hot under the collar after Stockton Police Department posted a convicted criminal’s mug shot on their Facebook page to raise awareness of the crime and arrest.

The response wasn’t exactly what they expected though. Jeremy Meeks, who was arrested for felony weapon charges, is particularly easy on the eye and his mug shot got over 21,000 likes, over 12,000 shares and over 5,000 comments about what a fine looking man he is, such as:

“He can kidnap me anyday… Hold me against my will lol”

“Holy hell i would arrest him too..hottest bad boy I’ve seen.”

“Omg come to mama”

One admirer even set up a fan page for Meeks, where they uploaded a photo of what he would look like if he actually was a model.

We all know stress is bad for us, but a new study has revealed that stress is potentially linked to short-term memory loss in old age.

When we’re stressed, our body produces cortisol – which is fine in small amounts as it’s vital for survival as it makes us more alert – but according to this study prolonged spikes in cortisol can weather the brain.

Jason Radley, an assistant psychology professor at the University of Iowa explained: “Like a rock on the shoreline, after years and years it will eventually break down and disappear.”

The study could lead to the possibility of finding treatments that reduce cortisol levels in susceptible individuals; for example people who suffer from depression or have suffered a traumatic event.

Kelly Rowland let the world know she was expecting her first child when she posted a photo of baby shoes on June 10th. Yesterday, she decided to debut her bare baby bump by posting a photo of herself looking incredibly serene during a yoga session.

The star has yet to make an official statement about her pregnancy, but judging from these photos, she’s really enjoying the experience!

Kanye West revealed on Tuesday that he spent most of his honeymoon trying to perfect the iconic picture of him kissing his new wife, Kim.

Kanye said the reason he spent four days editing that picture was due to the famous photographer, Annie Leibovitz pulling out of the ceremony at the last minute.

“Let me tell you something about that kiss photo that my girl put up… (it)was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon. She was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out right before the wedding.”

But a source close to the famous photographer said she did not pull out of the ceremony, as she was never confirmed to photograph it in the first place.

But now both Annie and Kanye have released a statement revealing that there are no hard feelings between them both, and Kanye’s comments at Cannes were taken completely out of context.

“Kanye West’s comments about Annie Leibovitz while speaking at the 2014 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival have been taken out of context and sensationalized. Although Kanye expressed frustration that he was not able to collaborate with Annie Leibovitz at his recent wedding, he is not assigning blame, and is not accusing Annie in any way. Kanye and Annie’s representatives were in negotiations for weeks that were not completed by the time of the wedding.”

The statement went on to say that it was Kanye’s dream to have Annie photograph his wedding but it also revealed that Annie doesn’t usually photograph wedding ceremonies.

“The first choice to capture one of the most special days in Kim and Kanye’s life: Annie Leibovitz. Annie Leibovitz – the legendary photographer responsible for Kim and Kanye’s recent Vogue cover – is not known to shoot weddings. But Kanye West dreams big. He loves and respects Annie as a true artist and wanted to bring her eye for beauty to the imagery of the event.”

Annie may have not taken the iconic shot of Mr. and Mrs. West kissing in front of a wall of flowers, but the picture has still managed to break Instagram records with having the most likes on a image to date.

She is an icon all over the world for her incredible acting talent and ability to perform in so many roles, and now Katharine Hepburn’s home is up for sale

The estate in Old Saybrook in Fenwick, Connecticut was home to the actress for more than 65 years and it became her haven, describing it as “paradise” in her memoirs- although it is not hard to see why.

The house is located 200 miles of New York, has its very own beach and dock with the surrounding land held in trust. There are six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and seven fireplaces – sounds like a perfect party pad!

It is currently owned by Frank J Sciame who purchased it from the actress three years after her death.

If you do go for it , expect a few visitors as according to Frank: “People still drive by sometimes, trying to have a look. Even our friends, when we bought it, they all wanted to come and take a look around. Katharine loved it, her family loved it, and you get a real sense that the people who have been here for so long have all enjoyed it, too. The house has great karma.”

Katy Perry looks completely unrecognisable in her latest selfie, as the star has decided to go for another dramatic transformation.

Katy revealed her new bleached brows today on Instagram as well as sporting her green hair in two buns and gelling her fringe back.

The Roar singer captioned the selfie: “BAUSS BISH BB.”

Katy’s latest look could be just a part of a new costume for her world Prism tour or just another makeover for the star. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see if she’ll sport her new look at her next event.

The man who recently broke into the house of Sandra Bullock has now been charged with possession of six machine guns, as well as two assault weapons.

Joshua Corbett was found at Bullock’s residence on June 8th and was arrested at the scene.

The 39-year-old pleaded not guilty to felony charges of burglary, stalking and possession of a machine gun and now faces 19 additional felony weapons charges.

Corbett’s bail is set at $2million in addition to the $185,000 bond from the original charges.

If Corbett is found guilty he could spend up to 12 years in prison.

Sandra was at home during the break in but thankfully wasn’t injured. Prosecutors also revealed that Corbett wasn’t in possession of his machine gun at the time of his forced entry.

The 2003 film Honey told the story of a fiesty music video choreographer – played by Jessica Alba -who shakes up her life after her mentor gives her an ultimatum. It wasn’t the most successful of films, but according to the real life Honey Rockwell, it was a rip off of her life.

Rockwell is a hip hop dancer and teacher, and she’s suing the film-makers as the character shares her name, her ethnicity, occupation and hometown. According to her, they even used the same dance studio where she once taught.

It’s taken her a while to get her lawsuit in order, but she’s making up for it by suing for her share of the $70 million generated by Honey and its sequel.

Lady Gaga has apparently had to stop the release of her music video for her song, Do What U Want, due to the sexual assault and harassment allegations surrounding Terry Richardson, the director of the video.

The video which was believed to be shot in September features a duet with R.Kelly, who acts as a doctor to a sick Lady Gaga in the video.

The song faced scepticism even before its release, due to sexual controversies surrounding R.Kelly himself.

TMZ managed to obtain a short clip of the controversial video, which is sure to raise some eyebrows.
