Selena Gomez is getting real about almost everything in the latest issue of of ELLE. Not only is she talking about her past relationships, including Justin Bieber obviously, but she’s also talking about her relationship with the press.

According to the singer anything you have ever read about her in the tabloids is wrong. She said there were times she was supposed to be “pregnant” or “out of control” when really she was just doing her work.

“It was a free-for-all where people said, 'Let's just stick her on every tabloid and exploit everything that's true or false.”

Since then, she’s moved from her old record label and “fired” her manager, who happened to be her mom. She explained that now she's in a new phase of her life where she wants to start taking more control over everything. She said about the management change: "I wanted to be a little uncomfortable."

Selena and her mom grew up in a rough neighbourhood in LA and she said there were times where her mom would keep her in the dark about certain things "out of the kindness of her heart, because she's been through so much in her life."

Aside from breaking up with the Biebs, she also bought herself a huge mansion in Calabasas and signed a contract with Pantene.

She explained the big changed by telling the magazine: "I wanted to be my own person. I wanted to test myself. I wanted to see if I could really do it." 

Although, despite all the changes she seems determined to make, she just can’t seem to escape her former flame. While she admits that she and DJ Zedd had a “thing” which is now over, she was less certain about a possible future with ex-Bieber.

“When asked about the possibility of rekindling things with Bieber, she laughed and raised her voice, yelling, ‘I don't know!’”

With her slicked back hair and tanned skin, Selena Gomez looked totally at home on the beach in Miami over the weekend.

It's easy to forget that, just five months ago, the singer was dealing with criticism for her body shape, so much so that she had to take to social media to retaliate. "There's more to love," she said at the time.

And while it's clear Selena has been hitting the gym, her signature curves were still very much on show as she jumped in the ocean in a black American Apparel one-piece swimsuit.

The high-cut suit, with a low back and thin crossover straps, showed off Selena's shape to perfection.

It has, of course, already completely sold out from American Apparel's online store.

No doubt aware of the papparazzi presence, Selena couldn't hide her smile as she came up for air.

Visible on the singer's left thigh was a new inking, a stylized version of the Hindu symbol for 'Om,' a chant which is repeated to calm the mind during meditation.

Selena has a growing collection of body art, including the number 76 in Roman numerals on the nape of her neck, 'God Who Strengthens Me' on her left hip, a musical note on her right wrist, and 'Love Yourself First' written in Arabic on her ribcage.

The Hindu symbol is an unexpected choice for the 23-year-old, who is a strong believer in the Christian faith, and a member of LA's Hillsong Church alongside her ex Justin Bieber,

Speaking of Justin, he must be kicking himself after seeing these latest photos…

Attention all shoppers:

If you can fly over to London any time soon, then you just might be able to get your hands on some Louis Vuitton – for absolutely nothing. 

That's thanks to their Series 3 Exhibition, which opened last night and saw stars Selena Gomez, Michelle Williams, Alexa Chung and Poppy and Cara Delevingne on the guest list. 

The real star of the night though, was a wall full of stickers – but these aren't your ordinary children's playbook stickers. 

Each one is branded with a LV logo and features a designer bag or shoe. 

These are the Vuitton goods that are up for free, but the exhibition is quite strict on handing them out and only two stickers can be given to one person. 

So if you have any free time between now and October 18, fly over and raid their free-for-all wall. 

After all, if you can't afford a real speedy, a giant sticker one will have to do!

We thought they were feuding – that there was little chance of reconciliation.

How very wrong we were.

Yes, Demi Lovato has now shared a completely amazing snap which shows her posing up alongside none-other than her sometimes nemesis, Selena Gomez.

"Look at how #coolforthesummer we are," Ms Lovato captioned the picture – which has since notched up close-to a million likes. "Friends for years, #sameoldlove." 

All the friendship goals right there, so.

Understandably, the internet has been in meltdown since – and with good reason too: they haven’t been seen together since early 2014.

The 23-year-old pop singers appeared in tandem on Barney And Friends back in day and then both went on to become massive Disney childhood stars.

Still, they’ve certainly had their ups and downs. "I've known her since we were seven, and we did fall apart for a while,” Ms Gomez has said previously.

“She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing,” she added, referring to Ms Lovato’s teenage battles with eating disorders, as well as drug and alcohol abuse.

Still, a year ago they weren’t even following each other on Twitter (say what?) – and when questioned on the matter during an interview, Demi explained: “I think it's just one of those things where people change and people grow apart.” 

That could have been very much that, but then just last month Selena took the plunge; wishing her on-off BFF a gushing happy birthday online.

It was evidently the social media olive branch that proved highly effective in smoothing over any lingering animosity. Phew!

We’re just hoping that Delena (yup, it’s a thing) have now reunited for good… our emotions couldn't take another breakup.

Selena took to Twitter to release the artwork for her newest album, entitled Revival, set to be released on October 9th.

The former Disney Channel star looks to be getting back to basics as she bares it all on the cover of her latest project. The album has been highly anticipated and Selena teased the release of the cover with a different message before posting the more revealing shot.

Stripping down to nothing but her underwear Selena certianly seems redy to shed her good girl image.

She spoke to Ryan Secrest recently about what to expect from her new tracks, and said she is excited to show them off to her fans. The brunette beauty confessed that she knows she may not be the most talented songstress out there but that won’t hold her back.

“I'm not the best singer in the world, but I know how to translate emotion…I'm just finding my strengths now as an artist.”

During their sit-down chat she added: “It's just kind of not try-hard. It's just perfect. I think, to me, that was exactly what I want people to see for the next chapter for me.”

After her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber confessed that he still hasn’t healed from their break up, people are curious as to how much of that split fuelled Selena’s music… but she says it's definitely not a heartbreak album.

"I think there's hints of it, but I think what I was really excited about was the title of the album and the rebirth of Selena.”

She added that this album is really focused on her own rebirth as an individual.

“It’s just my chance to just feel like an independent artist… It’s all about my journey.”

Justin Bieber, 21, may be making something of a comeback with his latest single and emotional VMAs performance, but he has revealed that there is a certain something missing from his life.

The Canadian pop star admitted why he’s been spending much of his time alone of late and it is just a little heart-breaking.

On Monday he sat down for an interview with Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O and opened up about his love life.

"I haven't been in a relationship for a while now," he told the duo when they asked if he would be bringing anyone with him when performing down under next month.

DJ Kyle pressed the Biebs for more details about his personal life. He asked Justin if he was interested in being seriously involved with anyone at the moment anyway.

Justin then told them: "I'm a relationship type of guy. I love to be in love, love cuddling. I love all that stuff." 

However: "I got my heart broken. I'm just trying to let that heal up.”

Jackie followed up by asking about Justin’s former girlfriend Selena Gomez. Curious as to her name being featured as Graffiti in his new video for What Do You Mean?

Justin dismissed the rumour that this was his way of getting her attention. He clarified:

"I think that might be fake," before going on to say "it wasn't me that did that."

Instagram and 'the selfie era' have thrown the personal lives of celebrities wide open to fans, and we love how Interview magazine have embraced that in their new issue.

Rather than conducting a professional photoshoot, the new #Me Issue features eight cover stars – including Kim Kardashian, J-Lo, Madonna, Zayn Malik and Selena Gomez – posing for selfies. Inside, the magazine features another 150 celeb smartphone selfies from stars like Miranda Kerr and Kendall Jenner.

While Zayn Malik's topless cover image definitely sent our heart rate skyrocketing yesterday, it's Victoria Beckham's one that really gave us a smile.

The mum of four posed for the magazine in a purple bikini, raising the camera to make the other members of her family the main focus of the holiday snap. In the background, David and 16-year-old Brooklyn can be seen engrossed in their phones, while a flash of four-year-old Harper's hair is visible to the left.

Victoria's photo looks like it may have been taken in Amanjena, the lavish Marrakesh hotel where the Beckham family celebrated David's 40th birthday back in May. 

Either way, we love the relaxed vibe of the style queen's selfie.

OK, so we've seen him topless plenty of times before. But that certainly doesn't mean that we don't welcome with open arms another, brand new topless shot of Zayn Malik.

Which is why we got pretty excited upon seeing the September issue of Interview magazine.

Featuring a selection of high-profile names – the likes of Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and Miley Cyrus all have their own respective covers too – Zayn's shot shows him lying back on a bed, his shirtless body on full display. 

Branded the #ME issue, Interview is this month honouring 150 of the most powerful social media stars from the worlds of entertainment, music and fashion.

And there's no doubt that Mr Malik certainly holds plenty of social media sway.

On Instagram, and despite being a fairly sporadic user, the former One Directioner has 1.8million followers. Meanwhile, over on Twitter that number has hit a cool 15.6million.

From spats with Calvin Harris, to favouriting week-old pictures of Kylie Jenner, and following Selena Gomez, his social media activity is certainly chronicled and commented upon with earnest.

So it's no surprise that the 22-year-old has been singled out by the influential publication.

Last month, Interview featured Justin Bieber on its cover – and for this month, the eight cover stars have been given creative freedom over the images used in the issue.

So we guess it's safe to say that Zayn must like being topless. We support that entirely.

Selena Gomez said good morning to the world today with an Instagram snap that showed her in nothing but a tiny white tank top and leopard print underwear. 

The 23-year-old took the selfie in her bathroom and was joined by two friends, drinking coffee in the background. 

The sexy post is yet another reminder that the former Disney actress – who used to wear a purity ring – has changed into a mature and confident young woman. 

Selena began wearing a purity ring when she was 13-years-old to show that she intended to wait until marriage to have sex – but clearly that is now off the table.

She wore the ring during her first big romance with Nick Jonas, who also wore a purity ring at the time. 

Talking to the Sunday Times Style Magazine, Selena explained, "I got it when I was 13 and I respect so much what it represented, but it isn't for everyone".

She then started dating Justin Bieber and they had a very public on-again-off-again relationship for three years. 

The media attention was overwhelming for the actress and singer.

Speaking to the Sunday Times that while she has no regrets about it, she often felt "destroyed" by all the press that surrounded the young couple.

"I didn't think I was doing anything bad by falling in love," she said.

"There's such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it's good press. Also throw in the fact that you are a teenager — it makes it more difficult". 

We think Selena is doing great for herself and with three movies and a stint on The Voice USA in the pipeline, it sure seems like she's in control of her life and career.

Just last month it seemed romance could be blossoming for Selena Gomez and Niall Horan, but now it turns out she has her eyes on another 1D member. Well, a former 1D member to be exact.

Speaking on Manchester radio station Key 102 FM yesterday, Selena couldn't help but gush a little about Zayn Malik. "I love him, he's awesome," she said excitedly, adding that she would be there for him if he needed support.

"I know Zayn, so it's almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could," Selena told the station.

And while Zayn's 1D departure has seen him burn quite a few bridges in the music industry, Selena reckons he's made a good choice by going it alone. "I think that's so exciting for him to go and figure out what he wants to do [in his solo career], but I don't know what that is. I think it'll be pretty exciting," she said. 

Earlier this week the One Direction star raised a few eyebrows when he suddenly started following Selena on Twitter, making her his latest celeb social media prey. The follow came days after Zayn was caught slyly favouriting an old photo of Kylie Jenner… a rookie mistake, as any social media stalker knows.

 

Speaking about the unexpected addition to her 32m Twitter followers, Selena admitted she hadn't even noticed. "I had no idea what that was until somebody else asked me," she told BBC's Chris Stark and Scott Mills.

"Obviously I know Zayn, though, so it’s not like a weird thing. I just didn’t know who followed me,"

Justin better watch out all the same…

He set tongues wagging when he liked a week-old sexy snap of Kylie Jenner – and then turned up to her birthday bash in West Hollywood on Sunday evening.

But Zayn Malik is certainly keeping his options open. Not only was he reportedly making a beeline for older sis Kendall, 19, at Kylie's 18th celebrations, but the former One Direction singer now has his eye on another major Hollywood starlet… namely, Selena Gomez.

Yes, yesterday he made sure to follow her on Twitter; considering the Texan posts plenty of her own sultry pics, she'll no doubt be right up newly-single Zayn's street.

Actually, we reckon the 23-year-old singer and actress would be a GREAT match for Zayn, 22, but the fans' reaction was a mixed bag of the good, bad, and ugly. 

Of course, Mr Malik reportedly dumped fiancee Perrie Edwards via text at the end of July. Meanwhile, Ms Gomez and superstar singer Justin Bieber have seemingly been an on-off stable for years.

Pretty only thing that could make this situation better? Perrie and The Biebs hooking up before the week is out.

She was at the receiving end of cruel internet taunts earlier this year when images of her in a bikini in Mexico surfaced.

Still, Selena Gomez is rightly proud of her figure – and has always steadfastly refused to let petty criticisms relating to her appearance get her down.

Indeed, one Instagram snap that Ms Gomez posted around that time of her Mexican jaunt included the defiant caption: "I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove".

The snap later garnered some 1.5million likes from her fans.

And this week, when asked to rate her hotness on a scale of one to ten, the singer remained refreshingly confident.

“I would say on a premiere day, I would be a good nine," Ms Gomez, who also celebrated her 23rd birthday on Wednesday, mused on Boston 103.3’s TJ Show.

Although she went on to admit that, much like the rest of us, she has her off days too.

"And then on my every day I feel like a six,” she explained, before quickly adding: “Gosh that sounds so bad. I feel like a six or a seven.”

In the end, Selena and the hosts settled that she was a spectacular 9.75.

We couldn’t agree more.
