James explained that he invited the Dancing With The Stars camera to their ultrasound, despite past heartaches.

“We chose to have our first ultrasound on camera with our #DWTS crew capturing the result – something I NEVER thought we’d ever do… but @vanderkimberly and I have been through three of those first appointments to discover either no heartbeat, or no baby, and she wanted to share this moment.”

James revealed that their family had experienced harrowing losses in the past but they wanted to mark this special moment.

“Miscarriage (a word that needs a replacement – nobody failed to “carry”, these things sometimes just happen) is something that people rarely talk about, and often go through in secret,” the dad wrote.

The Dawson’s Creek actor said, “But there needs to be zero shame around it, or around giving yourself the time and space to grieve. We decided to put ourselves out there – not knowing what we’d find – in an effort to chip away at any senseless stigma around this experience and to encourage people who might be going through it to open themselves up to love & support from friends and family when they need it most. Happily, for us – this time- we walked out with tears of joy.”

We couldn’t be happier for the pair.

Super-private couple Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly ended their six-year relationship, with numerous sources confirming the split to various news outlets.

The couple allegedly split back in May, just weeks after their first red carpet appearance together at the Met Gala. Page Six reports that Katie was overheard telling friends that she has been single for a while.

"What Jamie does is his business, we haven’t been together for months," she reportedly said. Jamie was seen holding hands with Sela Vave, an upcoming singer and songwriter.

40-year-old Katie and 51-year-old Jamie were first linked in 2013, following her divorce from actor Tom Cruise.

The couple remained intensely private, and never officially confirmed their romance to the public or press. Their Met Gala debut this year, however, affirmed the worst-kept secret in Hollywood.

Jamie took to Instagram to share a family photo with his two daughters, 25-year-old Corinne Foxx and 10-year-old Anelise Bishop.

"We've had an incredible season, seen so many lives changed, heard amazing stories and had a blast!!! Thank you to all u THE FANS for tuning in!!!" Jamie wrote about his game show, Beat Shazam.

April, just one month before their split, a source told People that Katie and Jamie were trying to make time for each other as often as they could, but things evidently didn't work out.

"When they can spend time together, they do. When they're busy and they can't, they don’t," the source shared. "They are two adults who enjoy each other's company and have for a long time."

OK, nobody panic, but the cast of Dawson's Creek have reunited and our inner 90s girls are screaming.

To celebrate the show's 20th anniversary, Entertainment Weekly got the old gang back together to talk about their favourite moments from the cult teen drama.

The magazine also treated us to four solo covers featuring lead actors Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, James Van Der Beek, and Michelle Williams, as well as one group cover, which really pulled on our nostalgic heart strings.

After making its debut in 1998, Dawson's Creek became and instant hit, and even produced one of the internet's most iconic memes, lest we forget.

The series acted as a springboard for its lead actors, with Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams all having enjoyed hugely successful careers in the entertainment industry.

Speaking fondly about her time on the series, Williams, now a four-time Oscar nominee, said: "I loved that we were able to get in there in those formative years for people. That's why people, I think, are so connected to it. When something affects you while you were growing up, it kind of stays in there forever."

"When you're so permeable and open and trying to figure out who you are and what's going on, whatever reaches you in those moments really becomes part of you."

However, those wishing for another instalment of the much-loved show shouldn't hold their breath. When asked if the characters would ever reunite on screen in an interview last January, show creator Kevin Williamson telling the Hollywood Reporter

"What would we do?! One of the reasons we did the finale five years in the future was to put a button on it. What would a reunion be? What would that look like? Why would you? I don't see it and I don't feel it. The finale was such a beautiful moment in time and the show was always meant to be a nostalgia piece."

90s kids, rejoice!

Almost 20 years since its initial release, Channel 4 have announced that Dawson's Creek will soon be launched on All 4.

All six series will be available to watch on the streaming service from November 2017, meaning you'll be spending the winter months pining after Daswon and Pacey, as if it were 1998 all over again.

Charlie Palmer,  All 4 Managing Editor, said: “Like so many others, I grew up with Dawson's Creek and can vividly remember sitting down to watch it every Tuesday evening… and, more often than not, again on Sunday morning.”

"Scenes, and the theme tune, are etched in the mind. So we're delighted to offer fans the chance to indulge themselves all over again, and for a new generation to discover it for the very first time."

The classic series starred Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson and became an instant hit when it first premiered in 1998.

And now a whole generation will get to experience the drama, love tri-angles, and the real meaning behind that meme.

We can't wait to binge-watch!

So she may have been killed off in season six, but that doesn't mean Michelle Williams is any less eager than the rest of us to see a Dawson's Creek reunion!

With rumours circulating that we may actually be revisiting the gang in Capeside, the actress who played Jen Lindley for five years weighed in on the topic while appearing  on The Today Show.

Sparking hope in the hearts of fans everywhere, Michelle admitted that she too would like to see a reunion, but doesn't imagine she'd feature given, you know, her death.

"I'd have come to come back as a ghost or put like a lot of filters on the camera and I'll do flashback scenes," she told the host.

"I think it's a fun thing to sort of imagine," she added. "I like imagining it, but I haven't heard anyone say anything actually serious about that happening."

The actress did, however, reveal that she and her former co-stars often meet up for 'mini-reunions', so with a little trip down memory lane, a lot of vino and Paul Cole's I Don't Want To Wait on repeat, this could actually happen.

Hold tight, ladies, we're hitching a ride down that creek.

Did Joshua Jackson let it slip that he and long-term girlfriend, Diane Kruger, have finally gotten married?

The Dawson’s Creek star was one of many celebrities at the CFDA Awards last night in New York, alongside the beautiful Ms. Kruger.

While working his way through the star-studded crowd, someone whistled at Joshua to which he responded, "I’m assuming that was my wife," referring to his beautiful date, Diane.

So, have the pair finally tied the knot? Joshua met Diane, star of Inglorious Bastards and Troy, in 2006 and the pair have dated ever since, while impressively managing to stay out of the media spotlight.

In the November 2014 issue of Glamour, Joshua explained why the couple had yet to wed. “We’re not religious. I don’t feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party," he explained.

That said though, the Cruel Intentions actor didn’t rule out the possibility of getting married down the line.

“We’re both children of divorce, so it’s hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you’ve grown up and are committed to another person. But it may change at some point. We may get married," he told the magazine.

According to Hollywood Life, that "may" is looking more and more like it may have become a "yes".

Whether they are married or not, Joshua and Diane seem to be one Hollywood couple that is getting it right. So, whatever they’re doing, we hope they keep it up!

In a bid to show herself off as being a domestic goddess, Katie Holmes is reportedly in talks to launch her very own reality TV show.

According to Grazia magazine, the Batman Begins actress wants to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, who has a published a cookery book, It’s all Good.

A source said:   “Katie admires how Gwyneth Paltrow has carved out a foodie career. She’s hoping this might be a great new direction for her.”

According to reports, the show will focus in on Tom Cruise’s ex wife “learning to make different dishes, as well as concentrating on catering for children.”

The rumours stem from a picture she posted of herself learning how to cook with Zac Posen at Mario Batali’s New York cookery school.

Now that she has closed her clothing line Holmes & Yang, the star has plenty of time on her hands so it could be a real possibility – not sure if we will on the edge of our seats waiting for it to air….
