So we were all delighted to see that Britney, who’s had more than her fair share of romantic drama, has finally found love with a new man.

Charlie Ebersol has been given the thumbs up by Britney’s parents and embraced by her two young sons, but it looks like the 31-year-old's recent comments may be a little hard to decipher!

Speaking to People, the writer and producer said that horribly traumatic events in his past prepared him for his relationship with Britney. Hmmm, what? We’re hoping it was meant as a compliment, but we’re not quite sure!

Commenting on bullying he experienced as a child and a plane crash he survived, but which tragically took the lives of all on board except him and his father meant that Charlie feels he’s better able to handle the relationship he is now enjoying with the Baby One More Time singer.

Opening up about their romance, Charlie said: “My personal life is my personal life, but I will say this; If I had not gone through what I’ve gone through, I would not have been prepared to be in a relationship of any kind, much less in one with someone like Britney.”

Well, as long as he knows how lucky he is, we suppose!

Jamie Dornan had a little explaining to do recently when he revealed he’s actually no stranger to a sex dungeon. What?!

 OK, so apparently it was all in the name of art, but that doesn’t make it any less kinky.

The 32-year-old actor, who will be playing Christian Grey in the upcoming flick Fifty Shades of Grey, admitted that he visited a sex dungeon as a form of research for his highly-anticipated performance in the 2015 film.

Commenting on his experience, the Irish actor said: “I went there, they offered me a beer and they did…whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives.”

If you think that sounds a little dull, you’re not the only one. Jamie didn’t seem overly impressed either, revealing that he had tried to inject a little entertainment into the evening, saying: “I was like: ‘Come on guys I know I’m not paying for this, but I am expecting a show.”

It sounds like the cold hard reality of a real-life sex dungeon mightn’t be for him though as he admits: “Going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards… I had a long hot shower before touching either of them.”

We probably would too, in fairness.

Remember Emma Watson’s United Nations address back in September?

Well, while the rest of us were hugely impressed by the actress’s impassioned speech and unwavering poise, not everyone was particularly moved by the Harry Potter star’s call for gender equality.

17 year-old Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, was decidedly unmoved, saying: “A lot of what Emma Watson spoke about, I just think ‘That doesn’t bother me.’”

Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, the young British star went on to say that: “I know things aren’t perfect for women in the U.K and America, but there are women in the rest of the world who have it far worse.”

Emma, who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, was promoting the HeForShe campaign when she called for people to address the misconceptions surrounding the word ‘feminism’ and highlighted various issues of inequality. The 24-year-old’s speech went on to garner worldwide praise.

Despite tweeting her support of the campaign at the time, Maisie has now said she doesn’t really identify with Emma’s ‘first-world feminism’.

We wonder if the 17-year-old will change her mind on the issue over time.

Well this really doesn’t sound good for Her Royal Highness, Queen Bey.

The 33-year-old global superstar is being sued by a woman who claims Bey used her voice on her 2013 hit single Drunk in Love.

Monika Miczura says her vocals, in a track she performed in 1995 called Bajba, Bajba Pelem, were used in Beyonce’s smash hit, but were digitally manipulated in an attempt to conceal the fact.

The Hungarian singer, also known as Mitsou, filed the law suit on December 12th and is seeking damages. She has also requested that the judge rule that the track cannot be played until her voice has been removed.

In addition to her apparent outrage that her voice was sampled and altered, Monika seems put out by the content of the final version of Drunk in Love, saying: “The sampling is used to evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics.”

Both Beyonce and her husband Jay Z feature on Drunk in Love and they performed the track together at the Grammy Awards in January.  

Monika Miczura did not personally perform at the Grammy’s that night…

The frontman of one of the biggest bands in the world must have thought that home was the only place he wanted to be after suffering a terrifying accident last month.

U2 star Bono was spotted on Dublin’s fair streets at the weekend while recuperating from a bike accident which took place in New York in November.

The 54- year-old musician required surgery after the accident in Central Park and the frightening incident meant that the band had to cancel the week-long residency appearance they had scheduled for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

It looked like the dad-of-four was keen to avoid photographers in the capital on Saturday and attempted to conceal his injured arm beneath his cosy winter coat. His trademark sunglasses also disguised the shattered eye socket he suffered. Ouch.

His injuries, which also included a fractured little finger and a broken funny bone, meant that in addition to missing The Tonight Show, he was also forced to pull out of U2’s performance at a World Aid’s Day benefit concert in Time Square at the beginning on December.

We hope Bono finds a little comfort in his home city after a very stressful month!

It's unusual to hear of former Friends star, Jennifer Aniston, being anything but good humoured, ridiculously funny and up-for-laugh, right?

Well, it looks like the Horrible Bosses star can let her guard down from time to time.

Revealing what she really thinks of the media scrutiny she’s been subjected to over the course of her career, the much-loved actress didn't hold back in a recent magazine interview.

Speaking to Allure, the 45-year-old star opened up about the hurt she’s felt by press reports and the pain certain rumours caused her, saying: “The accusation that I’ve put my career before the want, the desire to be a mother. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is. I don't think it's fair."

Determined to support women who haven't had children by biological means, she says; "You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean you aren't mothering —dogs, friends, friends' children."

Deciding to delve further into the subject, the actress who is engaged to marry fellow actor Justin Theroux said; “There's all sorts of reasons why children aren't in people's lives, and no one has the right to assume. It’s quite rude, insulting and ignorant."

Refusing to hide her upset over her treatment in the press, the actress said: “Even saying it gets me a little tight in my throat.”

We think Jen has done a fantastic job of choosing her own path and we hope she continues to do so!

Former Eastenders star Daniella Westbrook is no stranger to drama. The 41-year-old, almost as famous for her cocaine addiction as her acting career, last week took to the famous This Morning sofa to open up about her most recent struggles.

Having suffered a drug relapse, split from her partner Tom Richards and learned that she had miscarried, the normally vivacious star looked and sounded completely distraught while appearing on the famous morning chat show.

Revealing that herself and her children were now living in sheltered accommodation, it certainly looked like the troubled star could do with a kind word or the support of a good friend.

Luckily Sid Owen, who played Ricky Butcher and starred opposite Daniella on and off for twenty years on the hit BBC soap, saw her distress and reached out to the struggling mum-of-two earlier today and it looks like it’s made the world of difference!

Taking to Twitter to express her gratitude, the grateful actress said: “@sidowen5 hearing your voice cheered me up no end x old friends make the best friends x”

Hopefully, the support of her former co-star will help to lift Daniella’s spirits at this hugely difficult time in her life.

James Franco appeared on The Howard Stern Show earlier today and the 36-year-old actor didn’t hold back when discussing the relationship he has with 29-year-old singer Lana Del Rey.

Telling listeners that the pair hang out in her apartment a lot and take scenic trips together raised a few eyebrows in the studio and there was no way Howard was going to let those revelations slide.

When pressed by the shock jock as to whether the pair have become intimate, the Spring Breakers star said he would: “have sex with her music.” Er, right.

Eager to clarify his apparent obsession with the singer, James, who has posted numerous photos of her on his Instagram account, said: “There’s a weird thing with creative types. Sometimes I love a person’s work. But all this whatever sexual attraction is for the person in the work.”

On the show to promote his new film, The Interview, James insisted that despite wanting to have sex with her work, the relationship between the pair is purely platonic, saying: “Our dynamic is that we’re just kind of friends and get along really well.”

Hmmm, we’re not exactly convinced.

It was confirmed this week that Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson and her partner of four years, Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy had sadly called time on their relationship.

And now the father of Kate’s second son, Bingham, has taken to Twitter to open up about the split, saying: “We’re both very happy, it’s for the best.” Well, that’s good to hear, right?

Thanking his fans for their support and telling him that he loves them, the star promptly turned his attention to work, saying: “Now about that new album…”
 

So, it seems the 36 year-old British musician is handling the breakdown of the relationship as well as can be expected, which is lucky considering his ex-fiance was recently spotted smooching her new beau, Derek Hough, with an eye-witness gushing: “They were totally kissing.” Like, totally.

Kate who is apparently dating Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s ex was seen getting oh-so-cosy with the nimble-toed dancer in LA last week and has previously labelled the time she spent ballroom dancing with him “a real blast”.

Well, it’s good to know all parties are happy and that both Matt and Kate vow to remain “close friends and committed co-parents.”

Actor and comedian, Kevin Hart, is the latest Hollywood star to fall victim of the vicious tongues of some Sony execs!

The 35-year-old actor reportedly requested more money for promoting his movie, Think Like a Man Too, on social media because Kevin’s representatives felt that a "price must be paid for Kevin’s social media savvy." Perhaps unsurprisingly, this idea was a major source of irritation in one particular email exchange between Sony employees.

Sony’s surprise at these types of demands appears to be genuine, with one exec having said earlier in the leaked email exchange: “I never cease to be amazed at the chutzpah of actors. And directors. And producers. Have I left anyone out?”

The suggestion that they pay Kevin in excess of the 3 million dollars he received to actually do the film did not go down well with Sony execs at all. 

Obviously take aback by the idea they should shell out more for Kevin to post a few tweets, one exec made his feeling very clear, saying: “I’m not saying he’s a wh*re, but he’s a wh*re.” Ouch.

The emails between the Sony employees show the discussion that took place regarding the financial matter with one suggesting “We call his buff. If he doesn’t do his normal routine, his film will not open as well and his brand will appear diminished and he will- in fact- be f*king himself because we have his next two immediate films.”

Ooh, it’s a cut-throat business!

The ever-controversial actor and comedian, Russell Brand, has been in the headlines a lot lately. If he’s not claiming to have no idea who his ex-wife Katy Perry is, he’s going off on one with an Irish reporter who asked a bit too much and now he may be booted off Twitter!

The Get Him To The Greek star has come under fire for tweeting a Daily Mail reporter’s phone number this week after it had been claimed the reporter was hassling Russell’s mum, Barbara.

This might not have been the best idea Russell’s ever had, although some might claim his phone call to Andrew Sachs was even worse, because Twitter may be forced to ban the comedian for violating their privacy policies.

Upon seeing Russell's tweet, one follower said: "What a horrible thing for @rustyrockets to do. Expected better, if I’m honest."

Russell quickly admitted to his poor judgement after further public backlash and tweeted: “That was a bit nuts. He put it thru me door with ‘please call’ on it. They’re bothering me mum. Deleted it. I’m human.”

Unsurprisingly however, Russell is less than fazed by the speculation that he may no longer be part of the Twittersphere and even retweeted an article The Guardian covered on the matter.

Harry Styles’ ex and Strictly Come Dancing star, Caroline Flack, has been doing what every girl does after a break-up and turned her attention elsewhere, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t saddened by the end of her relationship.

Following her split from boyfriend of more than a year, Jack Street, the 35-year-old TV presenter has focussed much of her energy on her Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals and by the looks of things, it’s paid off!

Understandably, Caroline was seen to be quite upset behind the scenes of the hit Saturday night show, but soldiered on and impressed judges with her Argentine tango which earned her a place at the top of the leader board. 

The star took to Twitter to thank people for their support and revealed that she will be performing a salsa at the semi-final.

Insiders have commented on the breakdown of the relationship between Caroline and the music manager, saying: “No one else is involved.” Apparently, the decision was mutual and the relationship had reached its natural end.

Let’s hope Caroline, a favourite to win the show, can stay focussed on her dance moves until she claims the title!
