Jess shared a candid insight into her experience with breastfeeding by admitting, “Breastfeeding is no joke and Bobby is the hungriest little cherub I’ve ever seen!!”.

“It’s a marathon not a sprint, allowing myself all the emotions, patience and kindness while we both journey through it together”.

The 30-year-old captioned the sweet post, “Bobby Brian Kearney – hard to believe there was a world that you didn’t exist in, we love you endlessly baby boy. 21.08.23”.

Fans have been reacting to Maya Jama and Stormzy’s recent rekindling!

The Love Island host and rapper superstar ended their relationship in 2019. Ever since their breakup, fans of the celebrity couple have been wondering if they could ever get back together in the future.

Well, it now appears as though they finally have their answer, as Maya and Stormzy have been spotted in public, looking loved-up together.

In recent days, fans had been speculating that the pair were on holiday together in Greece, as both Maya and Stormzy posted videos on social media showcasing an identical villa.

It has since been confirmed that the lovebirds are indeed on holiday together, and that their romance is back on.

In images obtained by MailOnline, the 29-year-old TV presenter and 30-year-old Vossi Bop hitmaker can be seen strolling through the streets of Hydra Island together, holding hands and smiling.

Since the reveal of their adorable snaps, fans of the couple have been taking to social media to express their delight at Maya and Stormzy’s reunion.

“I don’t know them personally, but seeing them back together makes me happy,” one Twitter user penned.

“Good for them man! That’s what we like to see,” another wrote.

“THEY’RE FINALLY BACK TOGETHER YESSSS,” a third fan exclaimed.

Maya and Stormzy first met at an event in October 2014, and a few months later, the pair began to date. The couple continued their romance for four years, before calling it quits in 2019.

Stormzy has remained open in the past about his regret with his relationship with Maya.

“My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man,” the BRIT award winner stated in an interview with Louis Theroux last year.

“It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you,” he added at the time.

Congratulations are in order for Jennie McAlpine as she has announced the birth of her third child.

The Coronation Street star, known for her role as Fizz Brown, has confirmed she welcomed a baby girl into the world with her husband Chris Farr. The couple are already proud parents to eight-year-old Albert and four-year-old Hilda.

Jennie revealed their baby girl was actually born back in April, but admitted she wanted to stay in her ‘newborn bubble’ for as long as possible.

During a new interview with OK!, Jennie shared details of her labour and shared her daughter’s adorable name.

She explained, “I’m so aware of how precious this time is and just how quickly it goes”.

Detailing the day her baby girl was born, McAlpine said she arrived, “just before midnight on April 4, weighing 7lbs 11oz, at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Hospital”.

“Without going into all the gory details, we were there for a while. There were a few shift changes of midwives in that time, put it that way”.

“Chris was like the third midwife in the room, and he announced that she was indeed a she!”.

“Most people had guessed it would be a boy and I suppose somewhere in my brain I must have thought that too, because it was a genuine surprise when he said that. And so emotional. You can see my shock on the video as she’s brought up to me and I said, ‘I can’t believe it!’”.

Jennie then revealed that when it came to choosing a name for her bundle of joy, she, Chris and their little ones had a ‘big conversion’ about monikers, until they decided on Doris.

“It was a big conversation. There were a lot of boys’ names discarded, mainly because of football. Albert is a Manchester United fan and I think he left us with about two boys’ names to choose from”.

“Doris is a family name and I love that it goes with Albert and Hilda. They’re also all very ‘Corrie’. The actress who played the first Rovers landlady, Annie Walker, was called Doris Speed so there’s obviously something in my DNA that means these baby names keep happening!”.

She continued, “People have said before that Albert and Hilda sound like two childhood sweethearts writing to each other during the war. Now Doris is the aunty who’s come to join them”.

Opening up about her labour experience, the mum-of-three went on to say, “As with all my births I tried to stay as calm as possible and remember my breathing. I say that, but you think you’ve got it one minute and the next, everything’s out the window”.

“But we got through it and this might sound strange, but I love giving birth. All my babies have been a unique experience and this birth felt especially different”.

Jennie added, “I wasn’t just having a baby; I was bringing someone else into our family and that felt like the most special thing in the world. It actually makes me want to become a midwife. It’s a pipe dream but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do”.

The 36-year-old closed off by adding, “And the dark fairytale of Dance Fever, with all its strange prophecies, will provide me with much needed strength and catharsis right now”.

Fans were quick to share their support for the Shake It Out singer in the comments of the honest post.

Dyeing your hair is a fun way to get a new look. But did you know there are lots of different kinds of hair dye? We've got you covered if you’re new to colouring your hair.

In this guide, we’ll share more about all the different types of hair dye and offer some safety tips as you dye at home.

Choosing the Right Hair Dye

Choosing the right dye makes a huge impact on the final colouring of your hair. Different dyes have different chemicals. The severity of these chemicals also impacts the longevity and brightness of the colour.

Consider your hair type and texture before choosing a dye. Thin or damaged hair may need extremely gentle dyes, while stronger hair can handle harsher ones. You should also ensure the dye has no ingredients you’re allergic to.

Types of Hair Dye

There are several different types of hair dye to choose from. Here are each of the different types and how they differ.

Temporary Hair Dye

Temporary hair dyes are just that – temporary. They coat the hair’s outer cuticle and don’t permeate the hair like other harsher dyes. This gives you colour that lasts a few shampoos, so they’re great for short-term events or those with fine hair. You can often find these dyes in spray, gel, mousse, or even conditioner form for easy application.

Semi-Permanent Hair Dye

Semi-permanent hair dyes partially penetrate the hair shaft and last longer than temporarily. You can expect semi-permanent hair dye to last 4-8 weeks, depending on how often you wash your hair.

Because they must penetrate the hair shaft, semi-permanent hair dyes have small amounts of peroxide or ammonia. Be cautious with this dye as you apply it, given these ingredients.

Demi-Permanent Hair Dye

Demi-permanent hair dyes have more peroxide than semi-permanent hair dyes. This means they can penetrate the hair shaft even further for longer-lasting colour. Usually, demi-permanent dye lasts between 6-10 weeks.

This type of dye is typically recommended for individuals wanting to cover grey hair, as it produces a more vibrant result than semi-permanent dyes.

Permanent Hair Dye

Permanent hair dyes often contain a combination of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. This lets the colour molecules fully penetrate the hair cortex. This is the most long-lasting hair dye, as it does not wash out over time. This is a good choice for significant colour changes or those wanting to cover grey hair without any risk of washing out.

However, they are the most harsh hair dye out there due to their chemical content, so they are not suitable for everyone.

Natural Hair Dye

Natural hair dyes use plant-based ingredients and are free from harsh chemicals like ammonia and peroxide. Natural hair dye ingredients include henna, indigo, and herbal extracts. Natural dyes come in a wide range of colours, from reds to browns.

Using natural ingredients, these dyes help to enhance natural hair colour without causing significant damage. Because of the lack of harsher chemicals, they only come in limited natural colours and often require more regular application.

Safety First

When dyeing your hair, safety is crucial due to the potential harm caused by chemicals in hair dyes. Always follow these steps to be as safe as possible:

  • Perform a patch test to check for allergies

  • Adhere to the manufacturer's instructions, including processing time

  • Wear gloves to avoid direct contact with chemicals

  • Dye hair in a well-ventilated area to reduce fume inhalation

  • Limit dyeing frequency to prevent hair damage

In case of adverse reactions, rinse the dye immediately and seek medical attention if needed.

Always make sure you choose the right type of dye for your preferences and go for a colour you know you’ll love. Enjoy your new look!

It’s finally Friday and we’re so happy we made it to the end of another week.

With dreary weather and August drawing to a close, it seems like summer is well and truly behind us so we’re going to have to look for more ways to entertain ourselves as we pack away the BBQ’s and picnic blankets.

One of our favourite ways to wind down after a busy working week is by putting our feet up and getting lost in a cracking movie with all of our favourite snacks.

Luckily for us, we can do just that tonight as one of the best comedy-dramas is on the telly.

If you’re in the mood for a movie, head to RTÉ2 at 10pm because The Big Short is sure to kick your weekend off right.

Starring Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, Christian Bale and Brad Pitt, this reality-based movie follows the story of when four investors discover a flaw in the housing market which will inevitably cause a financial crisis in the mid 2000’s.

Wanting to benefit from the collapsing market and impending collapse of America’s economy, each investor comes up with a separate plan to make a profit by betting against the housing market.

The further into their plan they go, the men are faced with finding out the devastating outcomes that will affect ordinary people in the US by their wrongdoings.

The Big Short is based on the 2010 book The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine by Michael Lewis, which was written about the 2007/2008 financial crisis in America.

The movie was directed by Adam McKay and released in 2015 before it went on to win the Academy Award and BAFTA for Best Adapted Screenplay.

What are you waiting for? Go grab all of your favourite movie snacks and prepare for a relaxing night in front of the telly.

Amanza Smith has been opening up about her recent health battle.

Back in June, the Selling Sunset star was diagnosed with osteomyelitis, a potentially rare and life-threatening bone infection that was attacking her lower vertebrae.

The health problem meant Amanza had to stay in hospital for a month in order to recover.

Since returning home last month, the 46-year-old has spoken out about her Selling Sunset co-stars and has revealed which of her castmates have supported her on her journey to recovery.

Credit: Amanza Smith Instagram

While chatting to People, Amanza explained, “I mention a lot on the show…The Oppenheim Group is really like family. I don't have my family out here. I don't have a lot of super close family”.

“I've known Jason and Brett for 22 years, so they've become family. My kids call them Uncle Brett and Uncle Jason. We always do Friendsgiving together. I know their mom and dad very well, cousins, all of that”.

“Jason lives really close to the hospital too, so I was like, ‘You know what? This is a convenient location’”, Smith went on to say after revealing the Oppenheim brothers would visit ‘a lot’.

Admitting that ‘everyone was really supportive’, the interior designer noted meaningful gestures some of her co-stars did for her.

Credit: Amanza Smith Instagram

“Jason brought me headphones at one point because I was talking about the noises you hear in the middle of the night. At one point there was a patient who sounded like he was in my closet, that's how loud it was – but he was in a different room. He was coughing and coughing”.

“It was hard to hear people in pain. Or you hear ‘code blue’ often. Obviously it's not something you can sleep through easily, It's a lot of things you don't want to hear, so he brought me headphones”.

Amanza also shared her appreciation for Chelsea Lazkani as she brought her pyjamas.

Credit: Amanza Smith Instagram

“My stay just kept getting longer and longer, so I would run out of clothes. Nobody's doing your laundry there. People were really supportive and sweet”.

Admitting that having visitors too often used up too much of her energy, Amanza said, “It got to a point where it was too much. It was exerting too much energy to have visitors after the second surgery. I had to tell them, ‘I can't do it. It's too much energy to have to give out’”.

Amanza made sure to add, “It was nice that everybody was there. You know who your friends are when you become a burden. You see who has your back”.
