Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton are now parents!

The former winners of Strictly Come Dancing have announced the arrival of their first child together. Stacey has given birth to a gorgeous baby girl and revealed her bundle of joy's sweet name.

Stacey captioned the unique birth announcement, “Our Daughter is here. My little masterpiece! I'm COMPLETELY OBSESSED. Love you Minnie, Love you Kev x”.

We love the adorable name Stacey and Kevin chose for their bundle of joy! The moniker is of Hebrew origin and means 'beloved, rebellious and intellect'. Of course, we all recognise the name from the iconic Disney character Minnie Mouse.

Many famous faces flooded the comments with congratulatory messages for the new parents. The Only Way is Essex star Jess Wright wrote, "Aww congratulations lovely".

Former Strictly contestant Daisy Lowe said, "Oh congratulations!!! Sending you all the biggest hugs and all our love xxx".

"Congratulations honey bunch x welcome Minnie", added TV presenter Angela Scanlon.

In August of last year, Stacey and Kevin revealed to the world that they were expecting their first child together.

“So bloody delighted,” Stacey gushed at the end of her announcement. “Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu.”

“We’re having a baby!”, Kevin penned in his own pregnancy reveal last August. “And I think my girl @sjdooley looks beautiful pregnant”, he added adorably. 

Stacey and Kevin first met in 2018, when they were partnered up together on Strictly and later went on to win the series. After the show concluded, the pair then revealed that they had started dating.

A major incident has been declared in Somerset after a double-decker bus crashed earlier this morning.

Along with the driver, it is believed that there were 40 nuclear power station employees on board the vehicle at the time of the incident, which took place on the A39 near Cannington.

It has been reported that the crash occurred at around 6am today, Tuesday, January 17. Police and the air ambulance attended the site of the crash, where a single motorcyclist was also involved in the accident.

Bridgwater MP Ian Liddell-Grainger has confirmed that three of the bus’ passengers have suffered significant injuries.

The news of the bus crash comes after Avon and Somerset Police received reports of 53 separate crashes yesterday evening, due to the icy weather conditions.

Mr Liddell-Grainger has insisted that there must now be a thorough investigation into the double-decker crash, to determine whether or not treacherous road conditions were the primary cause of the accident. 

"Obviously it was a terrifying experience for everyone on that bus and my thoughts are with them and their families, but we absolutely must get to the bottom of why this crash occurred,” he said. 

"I am aware police have been reporting a high number of accidents in the area this morning, all of them blamed on icy road conditions,” he added.

"We need to establish as soon as we can whether similar circumstances played a role in this particular event,” the MP insisted.

Yellow weather warnings are currently in place for the remainder of the day across many parts of the UK and Ireland, as temperatures dipped below freezing last night, causing black ice and heavy snowfall in some areas.

Authorities are advising motorists in areas that are badly affected to only venture out if necessary, and to take care when doing so.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s just something so magical about the snow.

Waking up to see flurries of snow flakes falling from the sky this morning gave me a ridiculously giddy sense of wonder and awe, as I’m sure it gave many of you too.

There’s nothing I love more on snowy days like today, than sitting myself down next to a warm fire, with a cosy movie on the TV, while I gaze peacefully at the snow falling outside.

As the winter series of Love Island returned to our screens last night, we’re already so excited to see how the couples progress together and what drama is sure to occur. 

Since the dating show is back, 2022 contestant Jack Keating has opened up about his time as a bombshell on the series and has shared an insider insight into the process of entering the villa. From isolation and having to wear unbranded clothes to being made to watch the series every night before entering and picking his favourite girls, Jack spills the beans on being a Love Island contestant. 

When chatting to OK!, Jack revealed, “A month after I found out I’d secured a place in the villa, I was on my way to Heathrow Airport to fly out to Mallorca and meet my chaperone, Dan”.

“Arriving at the airport with my suitcase full of swimming shorts and non-branded T-shirts, I was greeted by Dan who quickly handed me a shopping list and told me to write down any items I wanted to have in my holding villa”.

The 23-year-old explained that all he really wanted was plenty of ingredients as he is a chef and wanted to be able to cook delicious meals for himself before entering the main villa. 

“As soon as I got on the plane, I began analysing every single person on the flight. I did my best to try and see if I recognised anybody or if anyone looked like they were going into the villa too. ITV keeps everyone separate, but I couldn’t help but be suspicious about who I was with”.

“When we landed I was driven to a villa in the middle of nowhere… I wasn’t allowed to leave during my stay, but as there were no other buildings for what seemed like miles, I’d have had nowhere to go anyway”.

“While I had to surrender my wallet at the airport, for the first week of isolation I was allowed my phone, so I could keep in touch with my friends”.

He continued, “Throughout those two weeks in isolation, I hardly spoke to anyone other than Dan. Producers came in occasionally to give a rundown about what was happening. In a way, it prepared me for the villa and meant I got to know what the situation would be like”.

“In the evening, I had to watch Love Island and Dan and I would constantly gossip about the drama on screen. However, he remained poker faced whenever I did ask him for any insider information. At the end of each episode I was required to say who my top three girls were, so producers could gauge what would happen if they sent me into the villa”.

“For my time in the holding villa, I was so worried about risking my place on the show that I never thought about breaking the rules. That being said, I’ve heard of other contestants trying to log onto their chaperone’s laptops to get more details”.

Jack then explained how producers told him what to wear when going into the villa and added that a barber arrived on the day he was going to Casa Amor to give him a quick trim.

Keating described his short time on the show as ‘surreal’ and revealed he would love to take part again.

”Entering the show was, and still feels, so surreal. I’d been watching the people in the villa every single night, so it felt like they were celebrities. While the days felt long, looking back it feels like yesterday and I’d do it all again”.

Amy Hart has been sharing her thoughts on the new series of Love Island!

The show’s second ever winter series launched last night, and as an avid viewer of the show, the 2019 Islander has been discussing her opinions so far. Most notably, Amy has revealed that she isn’t a fan of one of the show’s biggest changes.

Taking to her Instagram stories last night, the 30-year-old first praised all of the male contestants. “I like all these boys, they seem like really nice guys,” she approved. However, Amy then went on to admit that she disapproves of one of the changed formats for the new South African series. “I will say, the boys picking, I feel like that’s when I would have been like, ‘I’m going home, sorry’”, she disclosed.

However, despite the change in its format, Amy still confirmed that she is one of Love Island’s biggest fans. 

On her Instagram feed last night, the mum-to-be re-shared a few snaps of herself on the set of the Majorcan villa for last summer’s series. “It’s Love Island Day! In an additional message, the former Islander encouraged her 1.1M followers to refrain from posting nasty comments about this year’s contestants.

“Love Island was my fave tv show (tied with Call The Midwife obvs) before and after I was on it so I love love love watching it as a viewer! Happy watching and remember to play nice, take issue with actions if you must, but leave people’s looks/bodies out of it,” Amy penned.

Following the tragic death of Lisa Marie Presley last week at the age of just 54, it has been announced that her dad Elvis’ mansion, Graceland, will be left to her three daughters. 

After Elvis’ death in 1977, Graceland was left to his only daughter, Lisa Marie, and now the estate, which is in a trust, will go to her daughters- 33-year-old Riley and 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley, according to People. 

Graceland’s original beneficiaries were Elvis’ dad, nan and daughter, but after Vernon and Minnie Mae passed away, Lisa Marie was left as the sole heir. 

The mansion remained in a trust until the singer’s 25th birthday in 1993, after which Lisa created The Elvis Presley Trust, to manage the huge 13.8 acre property with her mum, Priscilla Presely, and the National Bank of Commerce.

The King of Rock and Roll’s home and final resting place is open to the public for tours and is available to stay overnight. 

A memorial service is being held at the property for Lisa Marie on January 22 and is open for the public to attend. The Graceland website reads, “In lieu of flowers, the family encourages all who wish to send something to do so in the form of a donation to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation”.

As well as having three daughters, Lisa was mum to a son named Benjamin whom she shared with Riley’s dad Danny Keough. Benjamin tragically died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27. 

On National Grief Awareness Day last year, the You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet singer spoke about living with the loss of her son. “Grief is something you will have to carry with you for the rest of your life, in spite of what certain people or our culture wants us to believe”.

“My and my three daughter’s lives as we know it were completely detonated and destroyed by his death. We live in this every. Single. Day”.

Stacey Solomon has admitted to getting emotional as her three-year-old son, Rex, has undergone a big hair transformation. 

The Loose Women panellist took to Instagram to show her 5.5M followers Rex’s ‘big boy haircut’ as he got his blonde curls cut in order to look more like his big brother Zachary. 

Alongside a selection of photos of her youngest son looking as cute as a button after his new chop, the 33-year-old penned, “Rex’s Big Boy Haircut. Today we went for our usual barber trip with the boys but this time Rex asked for “A Zachy (big brother) Haircut” instead of his usual “Thor hair” request”.

“Me & Joe may have shed a tear. But we’ve always said it’s his hair, his choice”.

The former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner added, “You look so handsome Rexy we love you so so much. Our big boy”.

Stacey’s comments were flooded with surprised pals and fans complimenting Rex on his new haircut and sharing their shock at how grown-up the three-year-old looks. 

Cleaning expert and Solomon’s best friend, Mrs Hinch wrote, “Oh Rex,  gorgeous gorgeous boy. Why do you look so grown up. Can you and Ron please slow down growing now”.

“You look so grown up Rexy Roo…. I wonder what Huds will say”, penned Stacey’s sister Jemma. 

A fan of Stacey’s added, “Whatever way Rex has his hair he is growing up to be a gorgeous handsome lad. You make beautiful babies”.

After the tear-jerking barber visit, the Tap to Tidy author revealed to her followers that she took Rex’s hair home with her as she posted a snap of his curls in her hand to her Instagram Stories with the caption, “No idea what I’m going to do with this but I couldn’t leave it on the barber floor”.

The proud mum also thanked her followers for their kind messages after Rex’s big chop. “Thank you for all of your lovely messages… Rexy was FaceTiming everyone he loves showing them his new hair”.

“And him & his big brothers spent all night chatting about it!”, she added.

Stacey will soon be welcoming her fifth child into the world as she and husband Joe Swash announced just after Christmas that they are expecting another little pickle, which was a 'huge surprise' according to the pair.

Ingredients

Pie

  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 400g mixed mushrooms
  • 10 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 20g fresh parsley
  • 400g vegan meat
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1tbsp tomato purée
  • 50ml red wine
  • 250ml vegetable stock
  • 4 sheets filo pastry
  • low-fat cooking oil spray

To Serve

  • 200g tenderstem broccoli
  • 200g frozen peas
  • 200g fresh spinach
  • 1 lemon
  • salt and black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 190°C

  • First, prep the ingredients; Peel and dice the onions and carrots. Trim and thinly slice the celery and roughly chop the mushrooms.
  • Pick the leaves from the thyme, parsley and rosemary sprigs then roughly chop. Cut the vegan meat into bite-sized chunks.
  • Now, brown the vegan meat; Warm 1/2 tablespoon of the olive oil in the large frying pan over a medium heat. Add half the vegan meat and cook, stirring, for 3–4 minutes until the chunks are browning. Transfer the browned chunks to a plate and repeat this process with another 1/2 tablespoon of the olive oil and the remaining vegan meat
  • Make the pie filling; Heat the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in the frying pan over a medium heat and add the onion and a pinch of salt and cook, stirring, for 3–4 minutes. Add the carrot and celery and stir for 2 minutes and then add the mushrooms and stir for 3–4 minutes.

  • Add the thyme, rosemary and bay leaf and stir for 1 minute until aromatic. Add the tomato purée and stir for a further minute and add the browned vegan meat and stir for 1 minute.
  • Add the wine and stir for 1 minute. Add the stock, increase the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated. Add the parsley leaves and taste and season to perfection with salt and pepper.
  •  Tip into the baking dish, smooth it out with the back of a spoon and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Now, make the topping; Crumple the filo pastry sheets into loose balls and cover the top of the dish. Spray with 4 sprays of cooking spray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until the pastry is crispy and beginning to darken.
  • Five minutes before the pie is set to come out of the oven, trim the broccoli and put it and peas in a saucepan, cover with boiling water and allow to warm through for 3–4 minutes. Put the spinach in a colander, pour the broccoli and peas and all the hot water from the pan into the colander (this will wilt the spinach). Halve the lemon and squeeze a little lemon juice over the greens, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Portion the pie onto plates and serve immediately with the greens.

Michelle Heaton is loving life on the ice!

The former Liberty X singer is currently taking part in the latest series of ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

Speaking to OK!, the mum-of-two described waiting for the call to tell her if she had been chosen by the show’s producers as “a very intense couple of days”.

“It was just this overwhelming sense of gratitude,” Michelle reminisced, explaining the moment she heard the good news. “A few years ago I was considered for Dancing On Ice and was gutted that I wasn’t chosen. Obviously I understand now why it wasn’t the right time.”

In January 2020, Michelle was in a deep addiction battle with alcohol, on top of her continuing hormonal depression after a hysterectomy. It wasn’t until the following April that she admitted herself into a rehab facility, and has been sober ever since.

Michelle’s husband Hugh, whom she married in the Bahamas in 2010, spoke of his wife’s newfound love for life after joining the skating competition. “Dancing On Ice is an opportunity she’s wanted for so long,” he noted. 

“The biggest change has been seeing her excitement to get out of bed to go and train. She was walking around the house in her skates for the first couple of weeks, throwing her whole heart into it,” Hugh gushed further.

Michelle also recalls the first time she met Dancing On Ice judges and ice skating legends, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. “As they’re judges, they have to remain impartial but I remember them telling me, ‘Enjoy every moment. Relax. You’re not in competition with anyone else’”, Michelle stated.

The singer then went on to praise her fellow castmates, revealing that they all share a WhatsApp group. “Patsy [Palmer] and I have a lot in common. We’re of an age and I’m looking forward to spending more time with her,” Michelle said. “I knew Siva [Kaneswaran] already and Ekin-Su [Cülcüloğlu] is lovely.”

Although Michelle was upset by her routine’s score of 19 from the judges on Sunday night, she is determined to improve. “I’d love to win. I want to perform every Sunday. I don’t want it to be over,” she wished.

Arthur Gourounlian had another successful evening as he was judging week two of Dancing with the Stars last night. 

This morning, when chatting to Jennifer Zamparelli on 2FM, Arthur spoke about his judging experience on the show so far and couldn’t help but share an insight into his ‘obsession’ with taking photos of his daughter Blake.

When it comes to posting about his adorable family online, the professional dancer revealed, “We post so much, I feel like the whole of Ireland knows about it”.

Arthur shared that there is a sentimental and personal reason as to why he takes so many photos and videos of his baby girl.

“Because when I was growing up, I don’t have any pictures or videos of me when I was a baby so I’m obsessed with filming her, taking pictures… and there’s nothing wrong with it”.

“When I left my country, we left everything behind so I don’t have many pictures. I think I have maybe five pictures of when I was young”, the 42-year-old admitted. 

Gourounlian then went on to describe his four-month-old as an ‘old soul’, saying she loves to chat. “She’s so good, so grown up. She’s so nosey, she needs to know everything”.

Arthur also spoke candidly about how much he loves being close to his husband Brian Dowling’s family as he is not close to his own anymore.

“I have a big family but I’m not really talking to them because when you come out as an Armenian gay, oh my God, the doors are shut in front of your face”.

“I feel like I embrace so much of Brian’s family because he’s got like a football team there”, he added.

Arthur and Brian welcomed Blake into the world in September of last year with the help of the Big Brother winner’s sister Aoife as their surrogate.

The Faiers sisters are celebrating!

The Only Way Is Essex star Billie Faiers is turning 33 today.

To celebrate the occasion, her sister Samantha has shared the most adorable birthday message to her.

Taking to Instagram earlier today, the fellow TOWIE star revealed two stunning photos – one of herself and Billie posing together, and the other of Billie admiring some beautiful birthday flowers that she had received. 

“You and Me? It’s a forever kind of thing,” 32-year-old Samantha gushed to her elder sister. “Happy Birthday My Beautiful Sister,” she added.

On her Instagram stories, Samantha then went on to further reveal that the images she shared had been taken this past weekend, during Billie’s birthday celebrations. 

“Yesterday Billie hosted a fabulous party for the girls,” Samantha explained, before adding a further message of love to her sister.

“I love you sis, always and forever my best friend,” she penned.

Since the sharing of the heartfelt birthday post, Billie has received many additional well-wishes in Samantha’s comment section.

“My fave sisters”, wrote celebrity hair stylist James Johnson. 

“Happy Birthday Billie”, added designer Sophie Kane Wright, alongside a heart emoji.

Billie has had a lot to celebrate recently, as she welcomed her third addition into the family. 

At the beginning of last month, she and her husband Greg Shepherd welcomed their third child together, a baby girl named Margot. “Welcome to the world our beautiful baby girl,” Billie had penned at the time, alongside a stunning snap shortly after giving birth, of herself and Greg beaming down at their newest little one. “We are so in love with our precious little darling,” she added.

Billie and Greg have been married since 2019, after eight years of dating. Alongside baby Margot, they also share eight-year-old daughter Nelly and five-year-old son Arthur. 

We hope that Billie has the happiest of birthdays!
