It’s congratulations to actress Felicia Day who has welcomed her first child.

Taking to Twitter yesterday, the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress announced the good news saying:

“Oh yeah, Calliope Maeve has hit the world. Currently wearing an onesie that says ‘Bard in Training’.”

Many of her 2.9 million followers were quick to share their well-wishes with the 37-year-old, with one saying:

“Congrats! She’s beautiful. Love the name. Calliope was the muse of epic poetry. Can’t wait to see how she lives up to that.”

The Supernatural actress kept her pregnancy a secret until very late, revealing the news just three weeks before her due date.

She's coming in like three weeks so I guess I should announce this and stuff.

Since they're worldwide superstars, you'd think Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik like to wine and dine in the hottest NYC spots.

But, it turns out they're a super casual couple, and we totally love it.

While speaking about their relationship, Gigi revealed to Vogue that they like to keep things super low maintenance.

“We like late-night movies and we order from this amazing place that does lattes and gingerbread cookies.

“I need coffee to stay up. I’m always like, ‘Babe, let’s go to a movie.’ Then I fall asleep halfway through and he’s like, ‘You’ve seen the first half of every movie out there and you have no idea how any of them end.'”

We totally wouldn't mind falling asleep on Zayn's shoulder! How perfect.

We've heard the rumours and we've heard the reports, and now after four years in the making, Katy Perry is finally getting her own shoe line.

The singer is finally making her mark on the fashion world and she seems to be pretty excited about it.

"You are what you wear , right?" she told Footwear News.

"It's one of those things where I really love the line and I’m excited by it. It’s not like you’ll never see me in a pair of Adidas slides ever again. And you’ll [probably still] see me on the streets wearing Uggs.”

Her fancaaay shoes won't be cheap though, with prices starting off at $59 (€55) and going up to $299 (€280).

“Here’s the thing: When I’m working or promoting music, or onstage, I don’t get the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation or meet everybody individually," Katy said.

“So the way I present myself can set the tone. It could be a conversation opener, just by my shoes or by the way I wear my nails – it could be [my form of] hello.”

Katy Perry Collections will be available on Amazon on Feb 16.

During the weekend’s festivities at the SAG Awards, Chrissy Teigen revealed some news about her and husband, John Legend’s plans for the future.

Talking about having more kids, the already mum-of-one said:

“Oh my God, a little boy is next, for sure.”

The model mum has been open in the past about her struggle to conceive naturally with the couple eventually turning to IVF.

However, some were still quick to criticise Chrissy’s plan for a little boy.

Not one to go down without a fight, the 31-year-old hit back at the hate in a series of tweets.

“Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah,” read the first.

One user even questioned whether Chrissy and John had really “given it a minute to try naturally” before turning to IVF.

However, ever the loyal fans, Chrissy's followers weren't far behind with their praise for the mum.

It looks like the Grammy Awards are going to have a hard time even getting their nominees to the door this year!

According to recent reports, a few A-list celebrities are going to boycott the awards ceremony on February 12.

TMZ is reporting that Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Drake have no intentions to go to the awards show, and they all actually plan on being somewhere else on the day.

A source told the website that Justin believes the Grammys just aren't "relevant" anymore.

"He just doesn't think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers.

"There's no real anger, it's just that a lot of younger singers think the Grammys are out of touch and arguably irrelevant," they added.

Donald Trump's inauguration to the office of United States President on January 20 this year will forever be associated with the birth of 'alternate facts'.

At this stage, we all know that 'alternate facts' is Trump-camp speech for statements which purport to communicate the truth while blatantly denying the indisputable reality.

They are, in other words, the language in which we all communicate when speaking to the Irish Mammy.

She mightn't be your mammy, she mightn't even be your mate's mammy, but Lord knows she's someone's mammy, so 'alternate facts' are your only man when navigating potentially tricky territory.

And here are just 11 incidents when 'alternate facts' just have to do.

1. When the sound of your dry heaving confirms you're the most hungover person on the planet.

"This is my normal Sunday morning routine, mam. Nothing amiss, nothing wrong."

2. When you were caught skipping mass as a teenager.

"I was standing right there. I just gave my seat to an elderly parishioner and had nowhere to sit, that's all."

3. When the price tag from your new (and exceedingly overpriced) handbag finds its way into her hands.

"That was the original price. It was, indeed, €500 at the start, but by the time I came across it, it was €3."

4. When you're paraletic, and have no intention of dealing with her disapproving stares.

"I'm not drunk. I feel fine *Hic*. Better than ever. Tell me, do you fancy the oul lad next door?"

5. When you blatantly forget Mother's Day, and (understandably) get the third degree.

"I did NOT forget. You've just forgotten to check your post."

6. When you're asked if you have enough money to see you through until pay day.

"I do… unless you're offering. In which case, I do not."

7. When you bail on a family occasion at the last minute.

"What? I WAS there, mam! You just didn't see me. In fact, you totally blanked me."

8. When word gets through that you ditched the bank meeting you were dreading.

"I went, but no one was there. So, I went home. But I was definitely there. Go check the cameras."

9. When you insist you're on a strict diet, but are found doing a midnight raid on the kitchen cupboards.

"This isn't what it looks like. In fact, this is not happening, You are imagining it."

10. When you insist Dry January was a success.

"That's not me in those photos. And that's definitely not my local. Or my pint."

11. When you claim to know how your taxes are calculated.

"I know how it works. But do you know what it works, mam? That's the real question."

Catrice is one of our favourite makeup brands, because it's great quality AND crazy cheap (seriously).

We have super exciting news today, as we learned that Catrice's summer collection is set to land in Penneys this February.

The new range is inspired by looks from the Spring/ Summer runway collections, and includes a wide range of covetable goodies.

Catrice's new eyeshadow palettes are at the centre of the new collection, with four different colour schemes to choose from.

Oh and did we mention that they cost JUST €5.50!

We are also totally in love with their new liquid strobing pen, which basically contains liquid gold (and only costs €4.50…).

The collection includes many other fantastic new products, such as ombré lipsticks, lip cushions and extreme volume mascara.

Literally everything from Catrice is less than €10, which is MIND-BLOWING.

Ugh, we just LOVE makeup.

It may have been lurking on YouTube for the best part of a decade, but we have Giuliana Rancic to thank for bringing this cracker of a Bryan Cranston commercial to the attention of the wider world last night.

While shooting the breeze with Screen Actor's Guild Award attendees, the E! host spotted the Breaking Bad star, and decided to use the opportunity to remind the actor that no matter how far you come in the industry, you're only one YouTube upload away from total mortification.

After being reminded that he starred in a particularly cheesy ad for Carnation Coffee Mate back in 1988, Bryan assured Giuliana that his appearance quickly became part of family folklore.

"My mother could never remember if it was Coffee-mate or Cremora," he said. "And she would say, ‘I love that Cream-mate creamer! I use that in my coffee all the time.’"

Unsurprisingly, members of the public, who happened upon the ad before Giuliana's big reveal last night, wasted no time referencing the star's biggest work as Walter White in Breaking Bad.

"I am the one who brews!" wrote one while another added: "I don't make the coffee. I AM THE COFFEE!"

We'll let Bryan take it from here…

In response to President Donald Trump's hugely controversial order which prevents immigrants from certain Muslim country access into the United States, the head of global coffee chain, Starbucks, has insisted the corporation will do everything they can to counter the president's policies.

Speaking in the wake of Trump's executive order, Howard Schultz, penned a statement for the chain's official website which outlines the organisation's plans to hire 10,000 refugees across the globe.

"We have a long history of hiring young people looking for opportunities and a pathway to a new life around the world," he explained after insisting Starbucks would not maintain a silence around the new Administration's actions.

"This is why we are doubling down on this commitment by working with our equity market employees as well as joint venture and licensed market partners in a concerted effort to welcome and seek opportunities for those fleeing war, violence, persecution and discrimination."

While acknowledging that more than 65 million individuals are recognised as refugees worldwide, Howard explained that Starbucks intends to hire 10,000 across five years.

"And we will start this effort here in the U.S. by making the initial focus of our hiring efforts on those individuals who have served with U.S. troops as interpreters and support personnel in the various countries where our military has asked for such support," he continued.

Recognising the need to highlight the disparity between Trump's policies and Starbucks' ethos, Howard concluded by saying the executive order will not influence the latter.

"We are in business to inspire and nurture the human spirit, one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time – whether that neighborhood is in a Red State or a Blue State; a Christian country or a Muslim country; a divided nation or a united nation."

"That will not change. You have my word on that," he concluded.

Meanwhile, members of the public in this country are adding their names to a campaign which urges Taoiseach Enda Kenny to boycott his St Patrick's Day visit to the United States.
