Hell hath no fury like a retailer worker dealing with a nightmare of a customer.

If you've ever worked on a shop floor, a recent Facebook offering from Jen Hatton and Emma Doran is bound to resonate with you.

And resonate hard, ladies.

From customers who assume you're a mathematician to members of the public who think you have all the time in the world, the following two videos are some of the most accurate representations of the life of a retail worker we have ever seen.

Oh, and don't get us started on customers who show up five minutes before closing for a leisurely browse…

We'll let Jen and Emma take it from here.

We all know that there's a distinct hierarchy when it comes to friendship. And the older you get the more emphasis you place on quality over quantity in terms of the squad, and who you let into your life.

Most of us will attest that our friendships with various people have evolved over the years, but if you're lucky you will have one person who has been a constant in your life since you first clapped eyes on each other.

You struggle to articulate the strength of your bond, you question whether some cosmic force ensured you met and you're forever grateful to be able to call this person your BFF.

And why do they take the crown? Well, for the following 7 reasons…

1. That time they saw you at your worst… and didn't hold it against you

We've all been guilty of behaving in a manner that makes our toes curl when we look back on that period of our lives.

Whether it was neglecting your friends, adopting a new (and unlikable) persona or choosing to rail against the people who loved you, there's a chance you went through a time when you mightn't have truly deserved your BFF.

And yet she stuck around….because she's a keeper, and truly believed you were too.

2. That time they allowed you to be right… even when you were wrong

There are certain times in our lives when we need to tell ourselves we were right in order to justify something we've done or said.

And a true soul sister will allow you to grab hold of that notion with both hands if she thinks it will genuinely help.

Don't expect her to do it on the regular though, that Get Out of Jail Free card doesn't come in daily form.

3. That time they sacrificed something… just for you

It could have been an outfit, it could have been an event, it could have been anything important to them, but they decided to let go of it in order to help you.

What about the time you vowed to start focussing on your health, and she rocked up on your doorstep with an armload of Avonmore Super Milk and a promise to sacrifice her daily fizzy drink to down one of those bad boys alongside you?

And what about that time she endured Lent with you because she knew you needed some hand-holding….

4. That time they made you laugh… even when you thought it was impossible

We've all endured times when it felt like nothing or no one would be able to jumpstart us out of our bleak, bleak mood.

Enter that one particular person who doesn't even have to try to buoy you, but manages to by their very presence alone.

One hour later and you've an ache from laughing so hard… yup, been there.

5. That time they forgave you… when you're not sure you could have done the same

Look, no one is perfect and there will have been times when you wronged your BFF (unintentionally or not) and they simply drew a line under the incident.

And the most heartening part? They managed to do it with ease when you genuinely don't know if you could have done the same without kicking up a fuss.

Bottom line is though; fuss or not, you would have done it…. eventually.

6. That time they told you the truth… even when it was difficult for them

You know that time they let you be right even when you were wrong, and the way that's pretty damn rare?

Well, that's because there will have been times when they just had to tell you the truth no matter how difficult it was for them.

They did it with your best interest at heart even though it may have required a stiff gin and a deep breath to get it out.

7. That time they believed in you… and made you do it too.

Like those foul humours you thought you'd never get through, there have been times when you struggled to muster up any self-belief whatsoever.

Whether it was due to a bad run of luck, a disappointment in work or a sudden dip in self-esteem, your BFF was the one person who helped you build your confidence back up.

This person has your back, and will always be your number one cheerleader.

At this stage we know better than to expect prolonged periods of sunshine in this country, and yet any reports that suggest we're in for bad weather always tend to come as a bit of a blow, right?

Considering this, we're feeling fairly blue over the two weather warnings issued by Met Éireann this week.

According to their Twitter account, the country is in for periods of heavy and widespread rain with strong winds and extensive mist.

"The rain will be heavy at times, especially across southern counties and will be accompanied by hill and coastal mist," read their official forecast.

Further to this pretty grim assessment, forecasters have issued a yellow and orange weather warning.

But the one silver lining (if you look really, really hard) is that, thankfully, temperatures aren't set to dip too low, with highs between 15 and 19 degrees.

Last week, Nicki Minaj reached out to fans via Twitter, asking if anyone need help with their college expenses.

Hundreds of fans responded to the message, revealing their personal financial struggles.

In a hugely generous act, Nicki then gave more than $50,000 to 30 fans in need, according to Glamour

But she didn't stop there.

On Friday, the rapper announced the launch of her ''official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments.''

Struggling fans will be able to formally apply for financial relief, providing they can supply proof of expenses.

What a wonderful act of kindness – Nicki, we applaud you.

Summer is on the way ladies, and as the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, some of you may be in the mood for a change – we certainly are.

Now, we're not saying you have to go off and dye your hair a mad or unusual colour, HOWEVER, if are looking for some unusual hair inspiration – then mother-of-pearl hair might just be your answer.

We have seen so many bizarre hair trends in recent months, from rainbow roots to phoenix locks, but mother-of-pearl hair is quirky while also actually being wearable (we promise).

The new hair-colour trend involves using multiple metallic pastel hair dyes, all blended together to create an effect that resembles the inside of a mother-of-pearl shell – and it is SO pretty.

The results are pretty mesmerising, which explains why it is currently all over our social media feeds.

But a word of warning – this look is not exactly easy to achieve, but nothing good ever is, right?

Kate Reid, who is a world-renowned colourist, told POPSUGAR that: "It's a slow process to create pearliest hair well. It's a long-term commitment to have this colour, not a quick fix."

She also said that healthy, well-conditioned hair is a necessity when going for a pearly look, as "It reflects light better and creates luminous shine."

Noted, and stored.

With this gorgeous opalescent hair, at-home maintenance is as important as the salon service itself.

Kate urges her clients to: "Treat your hair like a silk dress, always handling it delicately and following the care steps recommended by the hairdresser."

Whether or not this pearly hair is for you, none of us can deny that it sure is pretty!

Finding it harder and harder to get your eight hours?

Well, you're not alone.

Approximately 33 per cent of adults aren't getting enough sleep, and for many, the problem increases as they grow older.

A recent study conducted by researchers from U.C. Berkeley has found that certain underlying neural mechanisms can change with age and in turn can effect the quantity and quality of our sleep.

According to Cosmopolitan, the results suggest that, as we get older, it becomes increasingly difficult for out brains to recognise the signs of fatigue.

Even more concerning, the downward spiral is thought to begin in your late 20's – meaning that by the time you turn 50, your quality of sleep could be slashed by up to 50 per cent.

Yikes.

U.C. Berkeley professor of neuroscience and psychology, Matthew Walker, explained, “It’s almost like a radio antenna that’s weak.”

“The signal is there, but the antenna just can’t pick it up.”

On the plus side, the U.C. Berkeley researchers reckon the findings could be used to aid the development of medication that could be used to tackle the issue.

So, enjoy that precious shut-eye while it lasts ladies – it won't last forever.

A small UK-based stationary company has come under fire recently following the release of it's 'diet friendly' food diaries.

The planners, designed and produced by Fox & Moon, are branded with a variety of insensitive slogans that many people believe could encourage eating disorders.

Thursday Thoughts! Have a great one girls!!

A post shared by Fox & Moon Ltd (@fox_and_moon) on

Plus sized fashion blogger, Lottie L'Amour, described the journals as ''unacceptable.''

Photo: Instragram

Speaking to BuzzFeed News, the Londoner explained: "Fox & Moon are currently making a profit from bullying women into thinking that they need to be thin to succeed, be beautiful, and be desirable."

''I don't think [Fox & Moon] realises that words like this can trigger damaging eating habits that can lead to serious health problems and death in some cases.''

Also speaking to BuzzFeed News, Bethany Rutter, social editor for Navabi, said the journals are ''reinforcing and reaffirming a way of living your life that links your self-worth to your weight and are completely regressive.''

She continued, "I hate that it's someone's job to condense the weight loss industry and cultural fatphobia into twee sentences to stick on the cover of a notebook and monetise the hatred that women (yes, specifically women) feel for their bodies."

However, not everyone feels the same way.

Some fans of the products have been defending the company's owner.

So, what do you think? – It this a case of 'fitspo' gone too far or are people being too sensitive?

Another day, another bizarre beauty trend that we could never actually wear (but we love to look at, regardless).

Our latest beauty discovery comes in the form of pom pom makeup (yep we're serious), and we can't quite wrap our heads around it.

Do you recall those fuzzy little ball-like things you used to use in art class, to make Christmas cards and various crafty things?

Well, imagine using them as lip liner or eyeshadow – because that is exactly what this cosmetic trend entails.

We are all for having pom poms on sandals or handbags, but we reckon putting them on your face may just be a step too far, right?

Pom-Pom Mess  Editorial Makeup x talented @lizvilchez (soon on the blog!).

A post shared by Lila Sirena (@lilasirena) on

Despite this, MUAs on Instagram have been using the craft supply for eye makeup, brow art, lip art and even a colourful, crazy take on contouring.

A Netherlands-based makeup artist posted a picture of her face covered with a rainbow of pom poms in November 2016, and it has been a growing trend ever since.

Others started following suit with similar looks using the crafty goodies, including Berlin-based makeup artist Anne Wenzel and, most recently, blogger Lila Sirena.

Some people have focused the use of pom poms in one specific area of the face, such as around the lips or on the eye lid – whereas others have simply spread them out.

People are even incorporating pom poms into their brow game, which really cannot come as a surprise to anyone considering the brow trends floating around at the moment (dragon eyebrows are actually a thing).

While we can absolutely accept that these might not be the most wearable of looks, they are pretty fun to look at, right?

Hallelujah!

There's nothing more annoying then a dead phone battery, expect perhaps how long it takes to fully charge it again.

Well, it looks like our prayers have finally been answered.

An Israeli firm are said to be working on a smartphone battery that could charge in as little as five minutes.

The FlashBattery has been engineered to charge from empty to full capacity, one hundred times faster than the average smartphone, and could be available as yearly as next year.

But of course, there's a catch.

The batteries have shorter life spans than those currently on the market, but the firms reckons the incredibly charging speed more than makes up for this minor set back.

However, Ben Wood, a technology analyst at CSS Insight told BBC News that he doubts the company can meet their target because they would need to tackle a host of technical ans safety issues, including how hot the battery would become.

But with a five minute charge time, we're pretty sure we could make peace with a roasting hot phone.

Welcome to the future, ladies.

We secretly, or not so secretly, love tattoos, and think that they're a delightful way to show how much you love something (Disney tattoos, anyone?)

Well, there’s a new trend in tattooing that actually includes sound waves, meaning that you can actually hear them – crazy right?

Anyway, the genius behind this new ink trend is Nate Siggard, the founder of a new company called Skin Motion, who has reportedly created sound wave tattoos that, when combined with an app, can play audio.

Apparently, the idea came to Nate after a customer requested the first line from Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.” Nate's girlfriend, Juliana, said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if you could listen to the tattoo?”

With that in mind, the tattoo artist decided to try it, and he recorded Juliana and their four-month-old daughter’s voices saying, “I love you.”

From there, Nate found a way to pair the sound wave piece with playback technology – something we are in absolute awe of.

Still a bit perplexed by how it actually works?

Basically, you upload a sound clip into an app, then purchase the generated Soundwave Tattoo. From there you will require the ink to be applied by a certified Skin Motion artist, as it is a specialised procedure (obviously).

Then, after you’re all inked-up, you can listen to the clip any time you like by accessing the app and holding your phone over the design.

If you need us, we'll be getting Drake and One Direction songs tattooed on our bodies…

Last month, Xposé presenter, Ruth O'Neill announced that she would be leaving the hit TV3 series.

Ruth officially left her role on Friday, but the rumour mill is already working overtime.

According to The Irish Mail on Sunday, Snapchat start, Doireann Garrihy and former Spin 1038 presenter, Danielle Moyles could be set to replace the host.

Earlier this week, Daniella announced that she would be leaving her job as presenter of Spin 1038's Fully Charged with co-host Cormac Moore, so the timing couldn't be better.

As for Doireann Garrihy, the entertainment reporter has already made herself at home in the television network with regular appearances on The Six O'Clock Show.

Let's hope the rumours are true – we reckon the girls would be a great fit.
