Let's be honest, Euros 2016 was an absolute feels-fest.

From the Irish fans consistently doing the Republic proud abroad to the our new national treasure, Robbie Brady, sending the country into a tailspin multiple times over the course of the tournament, Euros 2016 was one seriously epic adventure.

Unfortunately, it came to an end for our boys in green on Sunday after they lost out to France in a match which gripped the nation last weekend.

But it's not all doom and gloom for our national heroes as a video which Shane Long's wife, Kayleigh, uploaded to Instagram clearly proves this morning.

After filming and sharing the moment Shane was reunited with his two daughters. six-year-old Teigan and two-year-old Erin, Kayleigh wrote: "The moment the girls got reunited with their daddy last night after we had just landed also! They had no idea!"

The video which has clocked up a whopping 13,000 views since its upload last night has been inundated with comments and well wishes to the Irish player and his family.

"Adorable, your girls are too cute!" wrote one of Kayleigh's followers. "Well done to Shane and the rest of the team did Ireland so proud."

Shane took to Twitter to share the same video, writing: "What a welcome home! Its been an amazing 5 weeks, but missed these little beauties!"

Ladies, we're struggling here!

It’s no secret that Katie Taylor is made of tough stuff and the boxing champion proved she’s not about to go soft any time soon when she used Twitter yesterday to deliver a rather harsh message.

As the world's Olympic golf hopefuls continue to drop out of the upcoming Rio games over fears surrounding the zika virus, Katie took to social media to give her opinion on the situation.

She wrote: “Another one bites the dust. I wonder what excuse the golfers would of made if there was no virus.”

Attached to the tweet was a link to Australian golfer Jason Day’s dropout statement.

Katie’s tweet came just after Day’s announcement and shortly before Shane Lowry added his name to the list of golfers – which already included Rory McIlroy – who will not be putting themselves forward for Olympic selection.

The golfers are concerned that the zika virus could potentially affect their families who would intend on travelling to Rio should they participate in the Olympics.

But no matter how many golfers drop out at least we know Katie will be there in fighting form.

Johnny Depp has given his first public interview since the news of his upcoming divorce and the related allegations of abuse broke last month, but in the recent interview the actor failed to address both issues.

Appearing on the radio show Jonesy’s Jukebox on Sunday with his band the Hollywood Vampires, the 53-year-old spoke about music, the band’s European tour and how he accidentally ended up acting while trying to pursue a career in music.

He said: "I've [been a musician] since I was little – since I was 12 I've played."

"I started playing clubs when I was like 13 in Miami."

"I needed to pay rent…Somebody said, 'Why don't you go meet an agent.  My agent is with Nick Cage.'  So she sent me on an audition for something and I got it."

When his band broke up Depp continued to act because “it seemed like a good way to pay the rent for a minute”.

Earlier this week Johnny’s former finacé Winona Ryder became the latest high profile name to comment on the abuse allegations made against him by his current wife Amber Heard.

She insisted the Pirates of the Caribbean star was never abusive towards her during their three year relationship.

So far Amber has successfully been granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny.

The pair are due to appear in an LA court in mid-August to see if that restraining order will be enforced permanently.

It was certainly a family affair for Khloe Kardashian's 32nd birthday yesterday.

Since the news broke at the beginning of the year that Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian are in a relationship, the whole family seemed to have gone into turmoil.

Slip n slide with @blacchyna

A video posted by Kim Kardashian West (@kimkardashian) on

And then when the couple announced they're expecting a baby, it was a total shock to the family, which is going to be well documented on the next episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

However, it looks like the family have put all of that behind them as Kim, Koutney, Kylie, Kris, Scott Disick and even Rob and Chyna turned up to celebrate Koko's birthday.

Happy Birthday @khloekardashian

The clan were all over social media, taking to Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat to show they're all BFFs now. Kim, Kylie and Blac even snapped a video of them singing I Don't Give a F**k together… Interesting…

However, despite all the family drama shown on the show, the Kardashian girls have all made it clear that they only want one thing for Rob: happiness.

And now that he has Chyna and a baby along the way, it seems he's finally got it.

A 30-year old mum-of-four who five years ago gave birth to twins as a surrogate mum for her best friend, has landed a major role as Australian Ambassador for Britney Spears’ new lingerie line, Intimate Britney Spears.

Rosie dreamed of being a model since she was a child, and was recently signed to Mint Management modelling agency to represent the brand. And, aside from modelling for several other brands, this superwoman has penned a number of books about her IVF experience.

“It's a pretty crazy amount to fit in,” Rosie told Daily Mail Australia. “I honestly don't think I could have handled all of this in my twenties, but now I think I'm more resilient and can bring something slightly different to the fashion industry.

“My work ethic is stronger than it was then, too. I know what I need to do when I turn up somewhere, and so I come along and just do it.”

Rosie’s story makes her new career all the more extraordinary. With three kids at just 24, she and her husband had built a multi-million dollar business between them. However, it failed and they lost everything, leaving them to wondering how to get their lives back on track.

However, when best friend Lauren asked Rosie to surrogate for her, she agreed. “After giving birth to two surrogate babies and seeing my friend’s face when they were placed in her arms was just magical and it’s something I will never forget,” she writes on her blog.

Unfortunately, soon after giving birth Rosie developed an infection, which left her with scarring on her uterus. Doctors told her that if she wanted another baby, she’s have to do it fast.

“We had to result to IUI and on the third attempt we were pregnant with our fourth baby,” she wrote. “After a very touch and go pregnancy our daughter was born healthy and happy at 37 weeks.”

However, just three weeks later, the infection resurfaced, with devastating results.

“I had started feeling sick with temperatures and continuous bleeding,” says Rosie. “My gynaecologist discovered a blood clot in my uterus and decided to do another operation. I still wasn't getting better though and two operations later it was decided I needed a hysterectomy."

Now, four years later, Rosie is happy and content, and despite her hardships in the past, she feels grateful for what she has.

“We are happy and healthy,” she writes. “I still and always will have issues with my girly bits and varying degrees of daily pain, but it's nothing I can't handle, I'm just thankful to be here. We realised we didn’t need the big house, fancy cars and nice things to be happy as right now we are the happiest and stress free and “brokest” we’ve been in a long time.  We’ve managed to buy a really old, small house full of character with a big backyard; it’s small but it's ours and we are happy.

You go girl! Such a great example that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. It’s so lovely to see good things happening to someone who deserves it.

In today's world everyone seems to be SUPER busy.

Whether it's going to events, the gym, preparing meals, nights out with friends, work – it's like we barely get a minute to ourselves.

Yet, when we are run down or are feeling low, it's hard to know where to put the blame.

A million and one quotes (and now memes) have been written about the value of time and how precious it is. But I think the real question is, how can we make the most of it? Is it running ourselves ragged between work and play or is it taking a small bit of time out for ourselves to recuperate and recover?

Performance vitamin Berocca teamed up with health and wellness expert Pat Divilly to see how people can boost their productivity from day to day.

Pat's outstanding story saw him leap from having to borrow bus fare from his father to return home to Galway and then beginning his business with fitness classes on Barna beach to his current occupation which sees him give motivational speeches all over the world.

We asked Pat what we think are the most important things to consider in our lives, and how we can boost our moods and productivity in just a few simple steps:

1. A lot of people work with websites, social media, computers, etc nowadays and find it hard to break away when they have time off? What's your advice for stepping away from your laptop/mobile screen?

Sit in any restaurant and you'll see couples, groups of friends, colleagues or families buried in their phones. We've become so used to constant busyness and distraction that we need to re-train ourselves to be comfortable away from the 'noise'. We all lives busy lives but 10 minutes of time with a loved one without a phone in your hand would mean a lot more than 60 minutes of giving a small fraction of your attention to them.

In terms of switching off from work in the evening, when I'm working I'm working and when I'm off I'm off. I used to find myself buried in work but in the back of mind thinking about my plans for the evening. Then, when with family and friends I'd often find myself distracted thinking about work I didn't finish. Most of us spend so much time in that grey area that we need to find an off time in the evening where we switch off from work mode. That'll mean less procrastination and distraction during the work day but the off time gives us a goal time to get our work polished off!

2. One of your tips is to "know what you want from life." For people who might not know, or who are struggling to find their vocation, what road would be the best to go down?

One great way of looking at this is to identify times in your life where you've been at your happiest and seeing what sort of vocation could provide some of these experiences or similar feelings. For example if you're happiest times were travelling and meeting new people is there a way you could pursue these kind of experiences in your work life?

Most of us spend our lives working crazy hours to have the money to do the things we love in our spare time. So what if you could find work that allowed you to pursue at least some of your passions during your work day?

Another great exercise is to write out in detail what your perfect average day would look like in as much detail as possible. Who would you live with and where? What would you do for work and what type of people would you work with? What would you do in your spare time? This exercise can open people’s eyes to the reality that this 'perfect day' oftentimes isn't as far away as they think and is financially within reach.

3. When faced with hard tasks in work, and indeed, life, what's the best way to move forward and face the challenges?

I think in any area of life when things go pear shaped our gut reaction is to focus on the negative aspect of the issue. People often dismiss positive thinking as 'airy fairy' but to me positive thinking is saying- “Yes this has gone very badly, how can I make things better” rather than dwelling on the problem. Whatever we focus on tends to magnify. So if you focus on a loved one’s negative traits you'll only see the negatives in them even though there are plenty of positives. The same with a problem. Focusing on the problem is like looking in the rear view mirror. To move forward you've got to focus on the solution, or the windscreen!

4. Would you have any advice for people who are unhappy in their job and want to change it?

For those who are unhappy in current job but unsure of their next move I think the best thing someone can do is commit 100% for 30 days to giving their job everything they can. We can get dejected and frustrated with work, go through the motions and focus on the negatives. With work taking up 1/3 of our lives I think we need to do everything in power to enjoy our work day as best we can.

So for 30 days even if unhappy in the workplace focus on being the most helpful, friendly and enthusiastic employee in the job. Giving your job (regardless of how you currently feel about it) everything for 30 days will massively increase your confidence, self-esteem and self-worth.

5. What's your top 3 tips for getting through a rough day and finding the purpose behind it all?

Acknowledge and help those around you. Generally when are stressed or miserable it boils down to us being too focused on ourselves and our problems. When we look to help and acknowledge those around us it takes us out of our own heads and gives us a sense of pride.

A gratitude journal is a great way of shifting your mode from negative to positive. It's easy to see other people’s highlight reel lifestyles on social media and feel hard done by, but when we begin writing down all the things we are grateful for in life it shows us how lucky we really are.

Along with the gratitude journal it's great to write down a way you could have made the day better and 3 small steps you can take the next day to get you back on track.

NUI Galway will be one of the first Irish universities to install gender neutral bathrooms on its campus.

The new facilities will be rolled out in the next academic year, and it will cover all of the bathrooms in the main buildings on campus.

The NUI student union said: "Gender neutral bathrooms create private, individual spaces that are open to all people. Traditional female/male sex-segregated bathrooms are not accessible spaces that everyone can use and feel comfortable in.

"NUI Galway Students' Union advocates for the rights of the diverse population of 17,500 students attending the University," the statement adds.

The college's student president said of the decision: "This is a big step on the road to a more inclusive and equal campus for all."

The University of Limerick and University College Cork are also working towards introducing gender neutral facilities.

It's the first week since the controversial Brexit vote was passed in the United Kingdom, and we are slowly starting to see results in our everyday life.

Ireland has seen a MAJOR surge in applications for passports this week from British citizens, with 1 in 4 claiming Irish heritage.

And it would seem that many Britons are desperate to maintain a link with the European Union.

brexit

Our Foreign Affairs Minister, Charlie Flanagan, has had to intervene, pleading with desperate Britons to hold off with passport applications unless it is urgent.

According to reports, increased interest is putting a major strain on our passport services department.

brexit

'The increased interest clearly points to a sense of concern among some UK passport holders that the rights they enjoy as EU citizens are about to abruptly end.' said Mr. Flanagan.

The Minister went on to explain that the freedom of movement act would still be in tact until discussions take place regarding the terms of Brexit.

This all comes as post offices in Northern Ireland ran out of Irish passport application forms.

It has been explained to those wanted to claim Irish citizenship that if one of your parents was born in Ireland, you are eligible.

However, some people are going to mind-blowing lengths to maintain EU citizenship.

The government in Malta has been selling passports to wealthy Brits for up to €650,000. Applicants to this scheme are also required to buy property and invest in government bonds.

Cyprus are offering a similar scheme, which would set you back a cool €5million.

It was confirmed that Britain had voted to leave the EU last Friday.

Meeting the parents is a big deal in anyones language, so it's hardly surprising that more than a few eyebrows were raised when Taylor Swift took the plunge after just nine seconds of dating Tom Hiddleston.

The Bad Blood singer recently took a long leisurely stroll on the beach with her new bae and his mum while the rest of the world wondered whether they needed to step up a gear in their own relationships.

Reminding us that we were right to question this milestone moment is Tay's ex, Calvin Harris, who is apparently equally as flabbergasted by developments.

According to reports, the Scottish DJ is stunned that Taylor hopped across the pond to meet Tom's mum when she had repeatedly told him the UK was too far to travel when he suggested she meet his own mum during their 15-month relationship.

TMZ has claimed that those in the know can confirm Calvin is far from impressed with Taylor's new relationship, saying the 32-year-old Drinking From the Bottle DJ thinks it's "f*cking laughable".

With sources close to the former couple insisting that poor ol' Cal is 'bewildered and astonished', at least we know we're not alone on this one.

Well, we did NOT see this coming.

On Monday, Dance Moms star Abbey Lee Miller pleaded guilty to one count of financial fraud.

The reality TV star could face over two years in prison – a considerable change of scenery to her dance school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The famous dance coach was arrested in October after failing to report thousands of Australian dollars which she had brought into the United States.

Abbey had been facing bankruptcy, and it is believed that she was hiding $775,000 of foreign currency from the Dance Moms finances.

"Throughout this case, Ms. Miller has taken both the allegations and the proceedings very seriously," her attorney Robert Ridge told PEOPLE in a statement.

"This has been a challenging time for Ms. Miller. She appreciates the words of encouragement and support from around the world" he continues.

Abbey who first rose to fame on the reality show Dance Moms – where her dance school is featured throughout – became known for her eccentric and outlandish ways, and was famously sued for assault in 2014 by a parent of one of her students.

Maddie Zieglar, the star of a number of SIA music videos, is one of Dance Moms most successful dancers.

Thanks to Abbey, Maddie is considered to be 'one of the most famous dancers in the entertainment world currently. She inspires other dancers to pursue their dreams with originality and grace.'

Football fans may have been focused on England’s performance on the pitch, but the more eagle-eyed among us were a little more interested in the women supporting the England players after their shock exit from the Euros this week.

After a devastating 2:1 defeat to bookie outsiders, Iceland, the English team looked like the weight of the world was on their shoulders.

Luckily, however, for Dele Alli, he had the support of one very stunning brunette…who everyone is talking about right now.

Whether it was her stunning good looks or the playsuit which we just NEED to get our hands on, Ruby Mae has become a bigger talking point than her footballer boyfriend this week.

Consoling Dele in light of the team’s shock departure from the tournament, the model, who is signed to Boss Models Management, leaned in for a kiss with the Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder, and if this was 2006, we might say a wag was born, but it’s not.

Already completely established in her own right, 21-year-old Ruby has worked alongside fashion heavy-hitters such as Dolce & Gabbana, Rare London and Adidas, and it sounds like her star is only set to rise even further.

Despite having been recently linked to TOWIE's Ferne McCann, if these pitch-side shots are anything to go by, it definitely looks like Dele only has eyes for Ruby, and we don't blame him.
