Fans of Lady Gaga were left stunned this week when news broke that she and Taylor Kinney had called time on their five-year relationship.

But it looks like there's still hope for the pair, who met on the set of Gaga's You and I video in 2011, if the star's recent Instagram upload is anything to go by!

Sharing a black and white shot of the couple with their arms around each other, the Bad Romance singer said: "Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break."

"We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared," she continued in the post which has been liked 362,000 in a mere six hours.

Reminding her followers that their separation is not simply tabloid fodder or there for the entertainment of the public, she added: "Please root us on. We're just like everybody else and we really love each other."

Lady Gaga's followers wasted no time showing their support for the couple's current predicament, with one writing: "As long as you guys stay strong in your love you will make it no matter how far or near you're from each other."

Overjoyed that the separation may not be a permanent one, another fan wrote: "I knew you didn't break up!"

"After seeing you two so happy and in love with each other I would have never believed that rumor," they added. (sic0

Here's hoping those guys can make it work.

Police in the UK have launched an investigation into the death of a glamour model who appeared on MTV reality television show Geordie Shore.

Aimee Spencer – who was also known by her stage name Carla Mai – suffered critical injuries after falling from a first-floor flat in Brighton on July 11, and eventually died of her injuries on Monday of this week.

"The 27-year-old woman who fell from a window of a Brighton flat has sadly died from her injuries at the Royal Sussex county hospital on Monday 18 July, " a spokesman for Sussex police confirmed.

"The woman had been in a critical condition since she was discovered having fallen from the first-floor flat window in Chichester Terrace on Monday 11 July at 9.08am," he added.

It has been established that a 28-year-old Brighton man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with Aimee's death this week, and acording to The Guardian, a 28-year-old woman was also detained on suspicion of class-A drug possession with intent to supply.

According to a police representative, the investigation is ongoing, saying: "Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of how she fell from the window."

Aimee's family have taken to social media to remember their daughter and sister, with a sibling writing: "I can’t believe that my sister has left us. She put up a fantastic fight and I will love her forever."

Aimee appeared on Geordie Shore when she was invited into party with the cast in their villa in Magaluf while filming on location.

Commenting on her appearance on her Instagram bio, Aimee wrote: "Lucky me got picked to go back to the party villa. All I remember is rolling around on the floor like a drunk loser and jumping in bed with Vicky."

Our thoughts are with Aimee's friends and family this week.

If you've spent an afternoon snivelling into the cuff of your dressing gown while watching Beaches, Pretty Woman or The Princess Diaries, then there's no doubt that you – like million others – were touched by the work of Garry Marshall.

The Hollywood actor, director and producer, who was responsible for some of the most romantic, touching and heartwrenching movies of our time, has passed away at the age of 81, and tributes are currently flooding in from stars around the world.

Credited for giving well-known actors their first big break, the Hollywood heavy-hitter broke into showbusiness in the late 1950s, began churning out hits – from the small screen to the silver – and continued for decades.

Devastated by the death of the much-loved movie-maker, actors and actresses have taken to social media in their droves to pay tribute to a man who began his career as a joke writer before becoming a writer on The Tonight Show in 1970.

From The Odd Couple and Mork and Mindy to Beaches and Pretty Woman, Garry Marshall is known for making his audience weep tears of laughter and sorrow, and will be sorely missed by those in the industry.

After Mila Kunis starred in Friends with Benefits, and Ashton Kutcher starred in No Strings Attached, the two actors – who first met on the set of That 70s Show – decided to live out their respective film scripts.

According to popular actress, the pair didn't decide to embark on the traditional relationship route initially, agreeing instead to remain friends… with benefits.

Speaking to Howard Stern on SiriusXM yesterday, the Black Swan star revealed that after re-igniting their friendship back in 2012, they couldn't hide their feelings for one another, but weren't sure whether a relationship was on the cards.

Mila admitted 'she got butterflies' while at a party with him and explained that despite the fact Ashton had intended to set Mila up with a friend, he got pretty 'territorial' when it came to his former co-star.

After unexpectedly spending the night together, Mila was adamant she wouldn't be staying, telling Howard: "Like, when I was single, I was so adamant about never, as stupid as it sounds, never staying over at a guy's house. I was, like, peacing out, and he was like, ‘You're not leaving.’"

"Well, I'll tell you this much, he didn't let me leave," she continued. "At two in the morning I was like, 'I'm gonna call an Uber! See you later.' And he was like, 'You're crazy!' And I was like, 'Bye!"

With Ashton only months on from divorcing Demi Moore, both stars decided it was best to keep things casual, with Mila saying: "If we just paid attention to these movies, we should know that sh** like this does not work out in real life."

"Well, we clearly didn't pay attention," she laughed. "We shook hands, we're like, 'Let's just have fun!"

Revealing more than one might expect of the notoriously private actress, Mila revealed that it reached a point where neither was happy if the other was 'with' someone else.

"It ended up going from just having fun to genuinely wanting," Mila admitted. "When I realised I was nervous was when I spoke to him.  I was like, 'I don't like this anymore.'"

Mila and Ashton, who share one daughter together, tied the knot last year and are now said to be expecting twins.

In comparison to the ladies in Taylor Swift's celebrity squad, Abigail Anderson has pretty much flown under the radar…until now, that is.

But it looks like recent developments have lit a serious fire under Taylor's childhood friend, and unlike Tay's celebrity pals who made cryptic comments online in the aftermath of Kim's leaked footage, Abigail leaped right in there and called Kimye out on their actions.

Focussing her attention on Kim and Kanye's eldest child, North, Abigail tweeted a prayer in honour of the child while making her feelings for her parents known.

"Lord, hear my prayers," Abigail began. "I pray God helps your daughter understand, that despite how many times she’ll hear daddy reference all women as 'b**ches,' she isn’t one."

"I pray she understands her father actually IS faithful to her mother, despite all the adulterous comments she will hear her father making," she continued.

"I pray that she will understand 'adultery and b**ches' are just daddy's form of art and not to worry because not every man thinks like him."

Asking Kim and Kanye to reflect on the decision they made to record the phone call before leaking the footage, Abigail added: "May God forgive you and your wife for doing to others the very things you pray are NEVER done to your daughter."

After receiving a barrage of abuse following her posts, Abigail explained that she was forced to delete the tweets, writing: "For the record, I usually delete my tweets once the death threats start rolling in."

Implying she stands by her convictions despite ridding her page of them, Abigail added: "Nothing more or less than that. #MovingOn."

Unfortunately for Abigail and Taylor, not everyone appreciated Abigail's approach to the issue, with one writing: "How can U talk about praying for someone's daughter? Loser! Pray for URself & leave children out of it! Play victim like Taylor now!" (sic)

"Ah..I just read it. Lol.No wonder Abigail and Taylor hung out alone in high school, they were probably self righteous mean girls," added another.

It’s been a tumultuous few months for former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, but it looks like the reality TV sensation will soon be returning to our screens with a brand new show.

According to The Sun, the Big Brother winner is set to make her TV comeback as she is reportedly taking part in a new reality dating programme with a rather unusual twist.

The unnamed dating show aims to match members of the public with their favourite celebrities and will be produced by Lime Pictures – the same company who makes Geordie Shore and The Only Way Is Essex.

The new venture has been described as having “a celebrity cast who are looking for love and would like to date members of the public” and its producers are currently seeking ordinary people to take part.  It is expected that Charlotte will begin filming next week. 

The bubbly Geordie has been single since she split with her on/off boyfriend Gary Beadle earlier this summer but rumours that the star is romantically involved with TOWIE cast member Mario Falcone have been circulating since the pair were spotted flirting on Twitter last weekend.

Lady Gaga has reportedly ended her five-year relationship with actor Taylor Kinney.

E! News has reported that the pair – who met in 2011 on the set of Gaga’s You and I music video – have called off their engagement following months of speculation that their relationship was in trouble.

A source told E! that Gaga and Taylor “want to keep it private” before describing the situation as “heartbreaking”.

Currently it is unclear as to who broke up with who but the Just Dance singer has been spotted out without her engagement ring on two occasions in the last week.

Taylor proposed to Gaga with a sizeable heart-shaped diamond ring on Valentine’s Day last year.

As one of the world’s leading fitness brands Nike’s use of ripped fitness models has been well documented, so naturally the gym-wear giant’s recent curve social media posts have received a lot of attention.

Last week Nike shared a picture of celebrated curve model Paloma Elsesser on its Nike Women Instagram account in what appears to be a bid to diversity the brand's online image.

Paloma is photographed stretching in a branded sports bra and gym leggings in a post that makes no reference to her size and instead focuses on sharing a sports bra related fact.

 

On Saturday, a similar post appeared on the same account showing yoga and wellness expert Claire Fountain posing in a black sports bra and burgundy coloured leggings.  Again the image was accompanied by a bra focused fact.

While the majority of the brand’s followers have celebrated the move with comments like “more of this!  Curvy women workout hard too” and “so excited to start [seeing] fit women who look like me in the media”, others have been less enthusiastic.

A number of Instagram users have been quick to point out that while they are happy to see the brand’s image becoming more diverse, they still struggle to find their own sizes in Nike’s range.

 

One user wrote: “And it only took you about 20+ years to figure out!!!!! Now, how about some Dri Fit workout tops in sizes that actually fit us too?”

While another stressed that including curve models should not lead to the exclusion of traditionally accepted frames: “Ok I'm all for it but stop saying real woman…So annoying just because my Frame is smaller doesn't mean I'm not real!”

It might only be Tuesday but Khloé Kardashian has already had a busy week.  But between working out tirelessly and throwing major shade at Chloe Moretz, the reality star has still managed to find time to get her lips plumped. 

In a series of new Snapchat videos, Khloé gives fans a glimpse at what it’s like to receive lip filler injections and, to say the least, it looks super uncomfortable.

Naturally Kendall Jenner went along to support (read: laugh at) her sister while she received the lip enhancing shot and since these are the Kardashian-Jenners we’re talking about, to document the process for social media.

 

The video – which clearly shows a medic inject the filler into Khloé’s open lips – is captioned “this is the craziest thing ever” and is supported by other clips which show the star jokingly sticking her tongue out before the process begins and one in which Kendall can be heard laughing in the background as she films.

The snaps come shortly after Khloé’s sister Kylie admitted to Allure that her own lips were almost too big and days after Kim Kardashian used the same social media app to prove her husband had called Taylor Swift to have his song Famous approved by the Bad Blood star.

Making a Murderer fans brace yourselves: Netflix has officially announced that the people who brought you the story of Steven Avery are already working on brand new episodes of the hit documentary Making a Murderer.

The new instalments aim to take give viewers a glimpse at the lives of convicted murderer Stephen Avery and his co-defendant Brendan Dassey as their investigative and legal teams challenge their convictions while the State fights to have their life sentences upheld.

According to Netflix, fans will be shown the emotional toll of the post-conviction process and will have in-depth access to Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner, Dassey’s legal reps and the families and characters close to the case.

The show's Executive Producers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos have said in a statement: “We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series.”

“The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold.”

Although it is not yet known when exactly the new instalments will air, given that the Emmy-nominated first season was a major success, we’re hopeful Season Two will have us all glued to our screens once again.
