The Power of Make-Up trend, which tries to combat the stigma of girls wearing make-up started last year and it still continues on social media today.

The trend saw girls only applying make-up to half of their face, to try stop the shaming of women who like to wear lipstick, mascara and blusher.

One woman, Kelsie Swygart, wanted to combat the issue but also had another reason for posting the selfie.

I DON'T WEAR THIS MUCH MAKEUP EVER. I just did this for the sake of the challenge. Most days I don't wear any makeup at all unless I'm at work and even then it's just brows, liner & mascara. For everyone saying "Too much" or "Too dramatic" etc. can suck eggs. Even if I did this full glam look every day, it would be nobody's concern but my own. I do feel beautiful with or without makeup. This challenge was so freaking fun and I will be doing it again sometime soon! Thank you everyone for your kind and supporting comments! FOR EVERYONE ASKING WHAT MAKEUP I USE: FemmeCoture concealer, foundation and powders. #thepowerofmakeup #makeupofinstagram #mua #brows #lips #contour #highlight #anastasiabeverlyhills #mac #nyx #jeffreestarcosmetics #beauty #gorgeous #fullcoverage #nakedface #beforeandafter #bluehair #hairofinstagram #cutcrease #matte #motd #hotd #nailtech #makeup #freckles #thepowerofmakeupchallenge @nikkietutorials @thepowerofmakeupchallenge #femmecoture

Fair play, we think that every woman has the right to wear and do what she wants to.

Taylor Swift has kinda been keeping a low profile since her BF Tom Hiddleston went away to film his new movie.

But yesterday, she stepped out in New York rocking yet another different hairstyle.

During the year, the singer dyed her hair peroxide blonde and then only a few weeks ago changed back to her original honey-toned hair.

However, it seems she's now taken a step back and is bright blonde again… and rocking a rather unusual side fringe.

The kind of side fringe that we all used to wear in 2009 with our neon socks and tutu skirts.

But then again, whatever floats Tay's boat. What do you think of her new style?

We have already watched this HILARIOUS video about 47 times…

Ellen DeGeneres, Chrissy Teigan, Olivia Munn and Jenna Dewan-Tatum have come together and created a brilliant parody video of Magic Mike.

The video is a trailer for 'Magic Michelle,' a fake movie starring Ellen and her squad.

All of the characters are introduced to the viewers, with their special 'stripper names' appearing on the screen.

Ellen plays the Michelle character, and can be seen in a wig and busty body suit grinding on the floor.

"This fall, Hillary's not the only one bringing women to the poles!"

We' are CRYING laughing here…

Marilyn Monroe can keep her diamonds because as far as we're concerned at SHEmazing! HQ, shoes are a girl's best friend.

Ah shoes; the most loyal of all our purchases.

Unlike that pencil skirt that you can no longer get over your knees or that blazer that lost shape after one wash, shoes are stalwart and hardy.

Whether you gain weight, lose weight, dye your hair, or grow an extra head, your favourite shoes will still look good.

From pumps to peep-toes and platforms, it's time to pay tribute to every woman's favourite item, and the good folk at Mode have done just that.

Covering 100 years of high heels, this is one history lesson we can definitely get on board with.

Polish discus thrower, Piotr Malachowski, won a silver medal at the Olympics in Rio this year.

This would be a proud moment for any athlete, but for Piotr, winning this medal meant a lot more.

The athlete had received a letter from a desperate parent.

This mum's name was Goshia, and her three-year-old son, Olek, was suffering from retinoblastoma, which is cancer of the eye.

Piotr was moved by this woman's story, and made the decision to auction off his medal to raise money to save little Olek's sight.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the Olympian said that “for an athlete, to win an Olympic medal is a dream come true… however, fate has given me a chance to increase the value of my silver."

The money made from the selling of his medal will go towards an operation that will save Olek's life, and his sight.

Real heroes do exist!

We were waiting with bated breath to hear the outcome of today's meeting between unions representing Dublin Bus and management.

And it's officially in.

Despite the efforts of those involved in this afternoon's gathering, a resolution has not been found which means that a series of strikes set for this month will go ahead as planned.

According to general secretary of the National Bus and Rail Union, Dermot O' Leary, the meeting was little more than a ruse to suggest that the issue could be resolved swiftly.

"We did advise in advance of our meeting that parading all parties through the door to create what has now transpired to be a false and misleading impression that the issue of pay could be magically resolved was something that staff and commuters would find intolerable," he said.

"The one common thread across all industrial relations disputes is that they are ultimately resolved," he continued.

"However it takes more than the commitment of one party to effect an agreement, shirking responsibility, or remaining aloof is not conducive to settling this dispute, the onus is now on the shareholder to unshackle the restraints on Dublin Bus and allow it the opportunity to work with its staff towards finding a solution." he finished.

Dublin Bus users will be affected on the following dates: Thursday, September 8th, Friday 9th, Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th

Even though Shawn Mendes' second album is coming out in only a few weeks, the singer is already thinking ahead to his third album.

But we'll be honest, he has a pretty great reason to be looking that far ahead. And that great reason is Niall Horan.

While speaking to the Daily Star, Shawn opened up about the collaboration:

"I'll definitely be working with Niall very soon. I got a chance to speak to him recently and we are definitely going to write together.

“I would love to do something for my next record as well as his – we will have to wait and see."

Even though we're going to have to wait a while, we're super excited about this mix of artists.

Let's face it, a movie can have all the right ingredients and still fail to set the box office alight.

Case in point: Sea of Trees.

Directed by Good Will Hunting's Gus Van Sant and starring Oscar-winner Matthew McCaonaughey and Inception's Ken Watanabe, Sea of Trees seemed destined for great things, but after critics panned it, things definitely weren't looking good.

And it sounds like cinema-goers in the US have taken those reviews to heart, and steered totally clear of Matthew's latest flick.

According to emerging reports, Sea of Trees took in – wait for it – just $3,000 on its opening weekend – and you don't need to know much about box office figures to know that's about as abysmal as it gets.

Oh, and if you'd like the chance to find out what's so wrong with the movie, you mightn't even be given the opportunity as there is, as yet, no confirmation that the film will be heading across the water for a UK and Ireland release.

Walk it off Matthew, just walk it off.
