Comedy act, Foil Arms and Hog, recently released a video which suggested that when it comes to planning a holiday, us Irish folk have a seriously hard time making a decision.

And, if a recent survey from 123.ie is anything to go by, the lads weren't far off the mark at all.

According to findings, the biggest issues affecting Irish holiday-makers is the importance of risk assessment, the threat of terror,  the fear of missing a flight or losing our luggage and the idea we'd be denied a cup of tea upon arrival. (No, seriously)

With the shocking implications of terrorism never far from the headlines, it's no surprise that 80% of holiday-makers from Ireland will avoid travelling to a region they believe may be vulnerable to terrorist attack.

Of the 771 individuals surveyed, 94% cited France as the country most at risk from terrorism, with Turkey and Tunisia also ranked highly at 91% and 87% respectively.

Head of Marketing with 123.ie, Padraig O’Neill, commented on the results, saying: "People’s views are obviously influenced by recent attacks in Turkey and last year’s attacks in Paris and Sousse and this has been reflected in their responses, which is totally understandable."

Further to this, the survey indicates that the Irish public take health risks into account when planning a vacation, with India and Brazil heading up the list as countries which pose the greatest danger.

"We anticipated that Brazil might feature on the list given the recent outbreak of the  Zika Virus and the ensuing publicity surrounding golfers including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and their decision not to take part in the Rio Olympics," Padraig explained.

"Despite the fact that pregnant women is the group most at risk from the Zika Virus, the  global publicity may have contributed to heightened concerns that has been borne out in the research."

And while we may relish the devil-may-care attitude attributed to us by the wider world, us Irish are actually a conscientious bunch, with four out of five respondents buying travel insurance in case of medical emergencies.

Remarking on the result, Padraig asserted: "We know that people place a high value on their travel insurance.  It offers great peace of mind and it’s one of those things that you can purchase and not think about again as you never need it, until you need it."

And after factoring in terrorism and travel insurance, us Irish turn our attention to a possible tea shortage while living it up abroad.

So great is the concern, a staggering 57% of holiday-makers from Ireland actually take their preferred brand of tea with them on a foreign trip.

And a further 14% insist that the first thing they do after landing is seek out a cup of the hot stuff.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Chrissy Teigen gained a whole host of new fans last year when she uploaded a snap of her stretchmarks online and assured the public that her 'stretchies say hi'.

And almost 18 months and one pregnancy later, it looks like Chrissy is even more eager to share photos of her 'real' body with fans and followers.

Snapchatting a close-up video of her thigh last night, the Sports Illustrated model gave fans a tour of her thigh area, and wrote: "lol, my thighs have tributaries."

"Shoutout to @chrissyteigen for being real AF and showing her stretch marks on Snap," wrote one. "YOU ARE A REAL HUMAN."

"Nothing like a Chrissy Teigen stretch mark snap to get me ready to take on the day," gushed another.

Chrissy for President.

ITV and all of its seven channels are being switched off for an hour.

The broadcaster's aim is to encourage people to go outside and exercise instead of watching TV.

So, now when you switch on ITV on Saturday August 27 at 9.30am, you'll be met with a blank screen and the message, "We've gone running – why don't you join us?"

The channel has also teamed up with thousands of sports clubs across the UK who will welcome anyone into their clubs during the hour to try out a new sports or play on the pitches.

The channels which are planned to be taken off air are ITV/UTV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, ITVBe, ITV Encore and CITV.

What do you think? Would you hop on board if RTÉ did something similar?

A 53-year-old man from the United States has made headlines today following a very unfortunate incident with some homemade brownies.

In something which sounds like a scene from American Pie, the man in question did what anyone would do upon discovering a tray of brownies in their car – he ate a couple… and then some.

But instead of doing what the rest of us do after devouring a tray of baked goods  – faceplant and bemoan our lack of will power, you know the drill – Michael Gollehon began crawling around his home and cursing out his cat.

Yep, this guy's adult children baked themselves a right ol' batch of pot brownies, and forgot to tell their father that he'd be better off sticking to a plate of s'mores.

Alarmed by her husband's conduct, Michael's wife made contact with the police who told BuzzFeed that Michael 'was displaying odd behaviour'.

Elaborating on poor Michael's reaction to his accidental overdose, Omaha police told the press that Michael was "crawling around on the floor, calling their cat a ‘bitch,’ randomly using profanities, and saying he feels like ‘he’s trippin”.”

After paramedics confirmed that Michael's vitals were in a normal range, a very stoned Mr. Gollehon refused transport to hospital and was instead helped to bed by paramedics.

That cat deserves a serious apology.

Gigi and Bella Hadid stormed into our lives about two years ago, and since then the sisters have constantly been on top of their game.

And you know what that means, right? It means personalised merchandise.

Everyone and anyone who is famous has their name or face on tops and hoodies lately, so we're not surprised the Hadid sisters followed the likes of Justin Bieber and Kylie Jenner.

Coming to you courtesy of Urban Sophistication, the 'Belgie' merchandise would make you swear the models are touring the world in concert.

At 60 quid a pop, we think we'll leave this one out…

We don't know about you, but walking up the aisle in a dress which has been described as 'full of bad memories and shattered hopes and dreams'' doesn't exactly scream 'dream wedding' to us, but maybe we're just more superstitious than most.

In a move which now has her in line to net a staggering £66,000, one Ebay user from the UK decided to auction her wedding dress after she learned that her husband of two years had been cheating on her.

In an ad which not only describes both her dress and the man she married in great detail, princess_p1988 explains that the sale of the gown will help fund her divorce.

Offering a detailed description to interested parties, she writes: "There are tiny buttons down the back but these are for decoration as it fastens with a long zip, so quite easy to get into compared to some of the monstrosities of dresses I've seen."

"As it reaches the floor, it is a little dirty around this area and so will need a dry clean before it's worn for your special day." she continued.

Adding, "I didn't have time to get it dry-cleaned myself before my cheating scumbag of a husband decided to call an end to our marriage. It cost my poor parents around £2000 brand new in 2014!"

"If you want a dress that is full of bad memories and shattered hopes and dreams then this is the one for you! Hope this dress brings you a lot more happiness than it brought me in the end and if not…well you can always sell it on here!"

Apologising for the lack of photos, princess_p1988 explains: "When I found out my husband was living with another woman, I pretty much burned/permanently deleted everything with his disgusting face on it!"

Not only inexplicably enthusiastic about the prospect of paying 30 times more than the original price, 75 Ebay bidders clearly have no qualms about rocking a dress associated with so many bad memories.

Ah, lads.

Last month, Courteney Cox went on an adventure with wildlife expert Bear Grylls.

However, as they made their way through the green grass of Ireland, Bear pointed out that they have to collect their dinner.

Not looking too happy, Courteney asked him what that was, and the adventurer lists out an "Irish menu" for her.

"Birds, if you catch them, worms, lots of, bugs, grubs, insects, flies, crickets, caterpillars."

Courteney didn't seem too happy about the "Irish menu" and said she rather eat grass than any of that stuff.

And to be honest, we don't blame her. Ewwwww.

We all know those Kardashian / Jenners don't do things by halves, but becoming your own neighbour? Seriously?

So by the sounds of things, splashing out on one mansion just wasn't enough for Kylie Jenner as the 19-year-old cosmetic queen has decided to claim even more of Hollywood's Hidden Hills neighbourhood.

According to E! News, the youngest Jenner sister has chosen to expand her property portfolio by investing in a mansion… next door to the one she bought for a cool $6 mil in May.

Maybe she cleaned up on her recent birthday or her head for business has been drastically underestimated, but to be in a position to drop another $4.5 million mere months after her last enormous investment is some achievement for a 19-year-old.

Choosing to turn her new home, which sits on 3.9 acres and boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms, into an office, Kylie will be keeping the original purchase as her actual live-in mansion.

Well, that's what we'd do anyway…yep, defo.

Remember Katie Price made an attempt to enter the Eurovision?

Yep… Well it's safe to say we all decided that a singing career is NOT for her, however, the former model is still insisting that she can hold a tune.

While appearing on Good Morning Britain, Katie opened up about her singing dreams… and decided to make up a competition just so she could perform on it.

"I'm not manufactured, I'm afraid. I can sing, but when you are drunk, you think you're Whitney Houston.

"I am going to post a 15 second video of myself singing live on Instagram," she said.

"I want to star on a Celebrity X Factor special. I think they should do one at Christmas."

Is there a Celebrity X Factor?! I don't think so, Katie…

After learning that Margot Robbie spent most of her teenage years drinking tea and reading Harry Potter, we knew this was a woman after our own hearts.

But when she recently revealed that she enjoys a 'beer bath' every night, we struggled with the prospect of lowering ourselves into a bath of the cold stuff… even if Margot does it.

Thankfully for us, the Suicide Squad actress has remained true to her Aussie roots and wouldn't dare waste a good Fosters by lying it, and instead just downs them while showering or panned out in the tub.

Inspired by the costume designer on the set of Whisky Tango, the Wolf of Wall Street star told Harper's Bazaar that she tried to end every day with a 'boiling hot' bath and an ice-cold beer.

Having been told about the beer shower trend while filming, Margot recalls asking: ”I was like, ‘What’s a beer shower?’

Revealing all to Margot, the designer explained that she combines a beer and a steaming bath or shower to ensure a decent night's sleep.

"She said she drinks an ice-cold beer in a boiling-hot bath or shower, and it made her sleep," Margot explained. "I was like, ‘That sounds perfect!’

Having adopted the routine as her own, the 26-year-old Hollywood star revealed: "So now when I get home from work, I have a beer shower or a beer bath if I have time!”

Beats counting sheep anyway.

It looks like Ireland won't be able to enjoy watching people make anymore yummy cakes because The Great Irish Bake Off has just been cancelled.

TV3 has decided to axe the show after three seasons, saying that it has had it's run.

Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail, an insider said: "Every show has a run and this was just it.

"That's not to say that down the line we won't have a rethink and come back to it.

"But for now it is not being brought back for a fourth series."

The source added: "TV3 is extremely proud of its commitment to making excellent cookery programmes."

We suppose there's still the UK version…
