Huge congratulations are in order for singer Paloma Faith who recently revealed she is expecting her first baby.

Talking to Instagram to reveal her happy news, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer said that she will be taking some time off her work to concentrate on her next chapter:

“I am so delighted to tell you I am going to take a short while off to have a baby. I have spent my whole life wanting to be a mother and now the time has come for me to do so. I feel so lucky."

The 35-year-old, who is in a long-term relationship with French artist Leyman Lahcine, candidly said she was “nervous and excited” about becoming a mum, before asking for privacy throughout her pregnancy journey.

“Pregnancy and motherhood is a very personal thing: daunting, new and worrying at times and I don't want to add to it by having to "look" a certain way when pregnant or be photographed pregnant or with my child,” she wrote.

“I wasn't raised like that and I don't want my child to be. I want the baby to have the freedom of a normal life.”

Paloma will be back singing once her baby is born, but reiterated that she will keep her family life and music career firmly separate, saying: “When I return I will be full of energy and excited to come and sing for you again."

"I am passionate about my job and what I do in the public eye but consider these to be two separate things, not one in the same."

They may have been soul sisters on Sex and the City, but as far as the public is concerned Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall's friendship was reserved solely for the set of the HBO show.

Rumours have been swirling for years that the two actresses failed to see eye to eye while filming the groundbreaking television series and its two subsequent films, but it looks like everyone fell victim to the rumour mill.

In a move which confirmed that SJP has nothing but love for her co-star, the actress shared a photo of Kim before writing a heartfelt tribute to the actress on her 60th birthday.

"Happy birthday you beauty @kimcattrall," she wrote alongside a throwback snap yesterday.
 

"Sending love and the very best for a perfectly marvelous, joyous, healthy and adventure filled birthday year," she added.

Finishing the post which has clocked up almost 80,000 likes, Sarah signed off: "Your ol' pal, fellow mischief maker and "sister", Sj"

"This gave me feels," wrote one Instagram user while another added: "That's so sweet. I miss you 4 guys being together."

An inch too short and there's all-out war, but then we never were, and never will be, as chill as Millie Bobby Brown.

The 12-year-old actress, who captured the imagination of millions in her role as Eleven in Stranger Things, made the whole head-shaving process look like a walk in the park.

Taking to Instagram last night, the British-born actress, who has a massive fan in Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, uploaded footage of the moment she ditched her tumbling curls for Eleven's iconic style.

This is not a drill people, there is a new hotel opening in 2018 and will be home to the first ever man-made rainforest.

Yes, you read that correctly, there will be an actual rainforest with the building of the hotel. 

The Rosemont Five Star Hotel & Residences is set to open in Dubai in 2018, and it will be  an "ultra-luxury urban resort destination." 

The hotel, which is reportedly costing $300 million to build,  will boast the world's first ever man-made rainforest!

The two 53-story towers will also have the usual 5-star luxuries including a SPA, health club, meeting rooms, fine dining restaurants, luxury cinema on the top floor, bowling alley, sky lobby, trampoline park…

Great British Bake Off is our ultimate comfort viewing, and we love nothing more than re-run sessions when we're gripped by Sunday Night Fear.

And it sounds like Snoop Dogg is on the very same page as the rest of the viewing public.

While we wouldn't generally associate teacups and elaborate bakes with the Drop It Like It's Hot rapper, it seems we have a lot to learn about good ol' Snoop.

Speaking to the Star on Sunday, the 44-year-old revealed that he's a massive GBBO fan, and even went on to insist that the British show was one 'one of the best' on TV.

Offering his two cents into the dynamic which exists between Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, Snoop gushed: "The guy is cool but it’s all about my home girl Mary. You know she is the boss."

While fan-girling all over the most wholesome show on the box, it seems Snoop suddenly realised his street cred was at risk, and did his best to rein himself back in.

"You know, I've been known to do a little baking in my time," he admitted before adding: "I guess you could say my speciality was brownies – just maybe not the kind Mary Berry is used to."

Oh Snoop, you're too slick for us.

According to Glamour, experts in the field of womens' issues unanimously agree that the foetal position is the best option during those particular five days of the month.

Offering an explanation for this, Dr. Jennifer Wider said: "Many women report that the fetal position can help relieve cramps."

Elaborating further, Lisa Lindley, M.D., board-certified gynaecologist with Eisenhower Women's Health added: "Sleeping in the foetal position takes pressure off the abdominal muscles."

In addition to relieving the cramps which keep many of us up at night, the foetal position generally ensures against leaks due to the positioning of the woman's legs – something which cannot be said for the face-down position.

According to the experts, it's best to avoid this position when Aunt Flo is in town simply because lying on your stomach puts pressure on your uterus, results in more leaks and quickly increases your laundry pile.

The latest craze sweeping the Internet is the "You are dog now" Twitter sensation. 

The popular page allows people to submit pictures of themselves and their friends, to be matched with a dog that resembles them in some way. 

The results are pretty hilarious… 

 "Follow me and send a pic of yourself or your squad, I make you dog", reads the bio. 

The page has been active since January of this year, and has already matched over 800 faces to their doggie equivalent. 

  The page has 53,000 followers already, and that figure is growing by the day. 

 The page matches celebrities and regular folk with the dog that represents them best. 

Some people have even been compared to famous rapper, and king of all canines, Snoop Dogg.

We all know that the media have a habit of pitting women against each other, and while the vast majority of us despise it, still it continues.

And it looks like Stacey Solomon has had enough.

After seeing herself compared to former X Factor contestant, Louisa Johnson in The Sun newspaper, the Loose Women panellist decided to call the publication out on their cruel jibes.

Referring to the writer's decision to play the women off against each other by publishing photos of both in their bikinis before suggesting that Stacey was the less attractive of the pair, Stacey shared the article, and tweeted: "I love my body."

In a post which has been liked thousands of times on Twitter, Stacey added: "My boobs are a result of being pregnant & breastfeeding & I love them. I am just as sexy"

26-year-old Stacey, who is mum to two boys, was inundated with comments from supportive fans and followers, including her supposed 'rival' Louisa.

"I think you look amazing, everybody is beautiful. Girl Power," wrote Louisa in a comment to which Stacey replied: "As do you, gorgeous."

Thanking Twitter users for their support, Stacey shared a snap of herself with her children, writing: "ur comments so much. It Means a lot. currently swinging my saggy maggies around the pool on holiday with these 2." (sic)

"Beautiful girl," wrote one follower in response. "Brilliant answer to that horrible thing. Well done you, fab role model for everyone xx"

It's the hotly-anticipated new BBC drama – and it's arriving on small screens next month.

Yes, Our Girl has given Michelle Keegan one of her biggest roles since she left Coronation Street two years ago. 

Now the first image of the 29-year-old actress in character has been released… and we have to say we LOVE it.

Dressed in military attire, the Manchester-native plays Georgie Lane in a lead role.

She filmed the series in South Africa at the beginning of this year – a schedule which meant she was forced to spent several weeks at a time away from her husband of one-year, reality TV show star Mark Wright, 29.

The series will first air on BBC on Wednesday, September 7.

Let's be fair, Irish reality shows are hilarious.

Where else would you get lads talking about their mammies and the elite collecting potatoes from a muddy field?!

Well, the stars taking part in the upcoming Celebrity Masterchef have just been revealed, and we have to say it's going to be… Interesting.

According to The Sunday World, some of the famous faces expected to take part include; Eurovision star Niamh Kavanagh, model Holly Carpenter, human rights campaigner Colm O’Gorman and former football star Oisinn McConville, singer/songwriter Mundy, former popstar Samantha Mumba, tv presenter Simon Delaney and meteorologist Evelyn Cusack.

With this lot, we can only imagine what's going to go down.

They're pretty much one of our fave couples: Andrea Roche model Holly Keating and Michael McCarthy, a former Dublin footballer who lifted the Sam Maguire back in 2011.

And now – we are happy to report – the loved-up duo are ENGAGED!

Yup, Michael popped the question over the weekend at Co. Wickow's Kilruddery House, with 27-year-old Bray-native Holly immediately saying 'yes!'

We can't say we blame her either: the ring is definitely mega-bling: a gorgeous solitaire stone cut in a circular fashion and flanked by smaller rocks. *Swoon*

Ms Keating also shared a snap of the happy couple on social media – with friends and family quickly rushing to offer their congratulations. 

The pair met on a night out but their relationship really blossomed on Facebook. Although Holly has admitted that at first she wasn't exactly au fait with his chosen sport.

"I didn't even know what shape the ball for Gaelic football was!" she previously told independent.ie.

She added: "I love GAA now. Michael trains four times a week and has a match at the weekend. I'm just in awe of his commitment to it."

Excitement is in the air in Kinlough, Co Leitrim, someone has just won millions of Euro there!

The winning ticket was bought in the Spar on Main Street in Kinlough, however nobody has revealed themselves as the winner yet.

A spokeswoman for the Spar said: “Apparently everyone was talking about it in the pubs last night. They couldn’t believe it, that it was in our village, so small you know.”

“It’s actually our second win in the past year. We had a €250,000 win in October or September,” she told the Independent.

“There’s really great excitement. Everyone’s so happy. It’s really a buzz in the town,” she added.

Saturday night’s winning numbers were 10, 11, 12, 15,18, 19 and bonus number 35.
