It was confirmed today that everyone's fave presenter, Dermot O Leary is making his way back to The X Factor this year – and now it's your chance to make it on to the show.

A lot of changes are expecting to drop this year, with the intimate room auditions making a comeback early-on in the series.

But any wannabe singers can meet the judges (which are yet to be confirmed) face-to-face next month at the Irish auditions.

Set to take place in Dublin's 3Arena on April 24, any aspiring performers will audition there in hopes of moving onto the next stage. You can apply to audition here.

The LAD Bible posted a (since-deleted) meme fat-shaming Prison Break star Wentworth Miller yesterday, and since then he has addressed it by opening up about his suicidal past.

The 43-year-old explained on a Facebook post that the 2010 picture of his fuller figure was taken during "the lowest point in my adult life.

"I was looking everywhere for relief/comfort/distraction. And I turned to food,'" the actor shared.

"It could have been anything. Drugs. Alcohol. Sex. But eating became the one thing I could look forward to. Count on to get me through. There were stretches when the highlight of my week was a favourite meal and a new episode of TOP CHEF. Sometimes that was enough. Had to be. And I put on weight. Big f***ing deal.

"Now, when I see that image of me in my red t-shirt, a rare smile on my face, I am reminded of my struggle. My endurance and my perseverance in the face of all kinds of demons…Like a dandelion up through the pavement, I persist."

Wentworth has urged others to seek help with depression and speak openly about it to stop the stigma.

The star is back on track and filming a nine-episode Prison Break event series with Dominic Purcell next month in Vancouver.

These days, primary and secondary schools text or email parents instead of sending out notes like the good 'ol days.

But, as we all know too well, sometimes technology seems like it's totally against us. And this primary school found out the hard way.

St Mary's PS casually sent out a text reminder about a church service, but the innocent text suddenly turned into something hilarious after one spelling mistake.

"Please join us for refreshments afterwards and if we can wash your dirty willies, please bring them along thank you."

We are LOLing so hard right now, guys.

Not seeing the mistake for a good six minutes, the texter eventually copped on and totally panicked.

"I am so sorry, it's WELLIES!!!! WELLINGTON BOOTS. Sincere apologies for any offence caused."

Posted to the Facebook page Oh my god what a complete Aisling, this just goes to show that technology can be very, very cruel. It's OK though, we all know it was an innocent mistake.

If you fancy seeing yourself on the TV screen, then this might be your chance.

A new six-part Eastenders spin-off is coming to Ireland and they're looking for some home talent to join the cast.

The show will see popular characters Kat and Alfie Moon leaving Walford and heading to Ireland to start a new life. The drama will be focused around the South East of the country as they search for answers to their pretty difficult questions.

Speaking of their new mini-soap, Shane Richie said: “Both Jessie and I are absolutely thrilled to be given this amazing opportunity. To have a whole drama focused around Kat and Alfie is a huge honour for us both and we just can’t wait to start filming.”

Jessie added: “I have always loved working on EastEnders so when I heard of this new drama to take Kat and Alfie outside of Walford, I couldn’t believe our luck. To be exploring the next chapter for Kat as well as working alongside my best mate, Shane, is a dream come true and a huge compliment.”

Filming is set to take place in Dunmore East in May & June and open auditions will be held this coming weekend.

Redwater Productions are looking for men, women and children of all ages. The open castings will take place at the Waterford Harbour Sailing Club in Dunmore East this Friday April 1 between 4pm and 8pm and at Central Arts on The Quay in Waterford this Saturday from 12 noon until 7pm.

Absolutely amazing events were held all over the country last weekend to celebrate Ireland's 100 years of freedom, but nothing pulled on the republic's heartstrings more than RTÉ's Centenary show.

Held in the Bord Gáis Theatre, some of Ireland's greatest talents all joined together to mark the occasion of the 1916 Rising.

Imelda May, Gavin James, The High Kings, Danny O Reilly, Roisin O, Seo Linn and Sharon Shannon were just some of the people involved on the night, and the Irish couldn't help but take to Twitter to share how proud they were of our green isle:

She vowed never to love again, but now it seems that Stephanie Davis has changed her mind.

After her thunderous love affair with Jeremy McConnell, the actress took to Twitter last week to announce that the pair were over for good.

She broke up with the model after discovering he was cheating on her and proceeded to share the text messages online.

Something like that would destroy the best of us, but it seems that (little) time heals all wounds as Steph went out with another man this weekend.

Taking to Snapchat, the new blonde revealed she was going on a blind date. "Out out. Blind date so not keen but f**k it ha," she captioned the pic.

It finally seems that Jephanie are over for good, so!

The X Factor certainly hit a big blunder last year, as ratings dropped lower than ever before.

But, now Dermot O'Leary has announced that he is making his way back to the singing competition, after Simon Cowell met with him to seal the deal last week.

Dermot has always been a fan favourite, but when he quit the show 12 months ago, the presenter had a few things to say about the TV series.

He agreed with many of the X Factor's fans, saying the the show has gone way over the top and needs to be brought back down to earth.

Well, it seems like Simon listened as there is going to be major changes for 2016, including bringing back the intimate room auditions.

“I’m very flattered to be asked back to The X Factor, and am currently dusting off my dancing shoes," Dermot told The Mirror.

"There is nothing more exciting than hosting live TV on a Saturday night.

“The show is naturally very close to my heart, after having hosted it for eight years. I’m really looking forward to it, and excited to be back.”

We're so excited he's back, too!

Vernon Kay has allegedly cheated on his wife, Tess Daly.

It is claimed thet TV persenter booked a hotel room for himself and glamour model Rhian Sugden in January. The same model he was caught sexting in 2010.

According to The Sun, the 41-year-old got back in touch with the blonde model last December and the pair had planned to secretly meet.

A source told the paper: "Vernon regularly asked Rhian when she was going to be in London for modelling and she kept asking him if he was going to be in the Manchester area.

“They agreed to book a hotel room in January but it fell through because of work.

"Then they agreed to meet in London at the beginning of this month. But again the rendezvous failed to materialise because Vernon had family commitments at the last minute," the insider added.

Vernon's marriage to Tess nearly fell apart six years ago after the first cheating scandal, so we're hoping these claims aren't true.

The couple have two children together and Rhian is now engaged to Corrie actor Oliver Mellor.

Jessica Lowndes introduced her "sugar daddy" to the world yesterday and it's safe to say that Twitter went CRAY.

There were so many questions like, are they engaged? Where did the ring come from? How long are they together? It all just didn't add up.

But now, Jessica has revealed that it was all a set-up and Jon is actually just starring in her new music video.

In a statement, Lowndes said she met 58-year-old Lovitz while working on  Hawaii Five-0 last year and "fell in love with his humor and comedy." She also described the video as a nod to the kitschy TV series  Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and  Pop Up Video.

Hmm, they were very steamy snaps… But that's a very steamy and strange video, so we kinda get it.

It seems that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are getting back together.

In a new Snapchat video posted by Kourt, the separated couple are seen on a couch together when Scott makes a very surprising announcement, "So, um, we wanted you guys to hear it first, we are getting back together."

He then goes to kiss Kourtney but she laughs and yells, "No!" before pulling away.

Saturday Night Live's Jon Lovitz, 58, is reportedly her new lover, but as they appeared in Hawaii-five-0 in January, some fans are wondering whether it is all a set-up.

They are looking pretty loved-up to us, but we're guessing only time will tell the truth.
