Early in February Caitlyn Jenner was involved in a car accident which left one woman dead. Now investigators from the L.A County sheriff’s office might recommend she be charged with manslaughter.

Speaking with Buzzfeed News, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said that prosecutors will present the findings of their investigation next week.

They did not confirm whether Caitlyn will be charged with manslaughter or not.

“They did have some findings with Caitlyn Jenner — a violation of unsafe driving for the prevailing roadway conditions — and that due to the death of Ms. Howe, the case will be presented for a possible misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge,” said Nicole Nishisa, the spokesperson.

While these charges have yet to officially be handed down, Caitlyn is still battling a wrongful death lawsuit which was filed by the family of the woman killed in the accident. She was 69-year old Kim Howe.

If Caitlyn is charged with manslaughter this could mean she faces up to one year in prison.

Hollywood Life reports that a source close to the star has said that the thought of going to prison terrifies her.

“Caitlyn is horrified to go to jail, even more than transitioning,” the insider is reported as saying. They also added that “[Caitlyn] wants to make sure that she has the best legal team to avoid any jail time.”

In this day and age, you'd probably assume that any sketch or drawing that appears online is the product of some computer program or cool new app.

But even with today's current technology, there are some bad-ass fashion illustrators taking the web by storm using only pencils, brushes and other tools.

Mariah Carey was at a press event in Israel recently where she talked about how she disapproves of people who manage to attain celebrity status without having spent years building their career.

“Some people’s goal is to be famous, not to have a craft or an art that they’re famous for,” she tod reporters.

She continued:  “Today, you can be famous just from being on a reality…well, doing… you don’t really have to do much, but you kinda gotta do a lot.”

She added that she thinks there is a difference between wanting to be famous and wanting to be successful:  

"And then your whole life is just about being a celebrity and that’s what some people aspire to, because it’s easy and because then everybody knows them and all they see is the bright side of fame."

Mariah confessed that she doesn’t think she could deal with being on a reality TV show, “I couldn’t handle having people with cameras on me all the time.”

We can’t imagine Mariah would be in need of a role on any reality TV consider her music career has gone quite well for her over the years.

As of now she’s had 18 No.1 hits and five Grammy awards is quite impressive.

Mariah recently received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and it seems like she would be less than impressed at having to share the coveted real estate with the likes of Snooki, or the Kardashians or any Made In Chelsea cast members.

However, while she may not be wild about reality TV, that doesn’t mean she’s shying away from the scripted kind.

During her Walk of Fame ceremony, it was announced that she would be joining the cast of the hit series Empire for a number of episodes in their second season.

Irish goalkeeper Shay Given has announced that he will become a dad again.

His agent confirmed the news that his girlfriend Becky Gibson is pregnant. Speaking to the Irish Sun Mark Devlin said:

"Shay and Becky are extremely happy together and are very excited to welcome their new arrival into the world.”

The pair are clearly over the moon as Mark continued to add that:

“From my point of view, I’ve never seen Shay as happy as this and I wish them all the happiness in the world.”

The duo first met in 2013 and since then they seem to have gone from strength to strength. Becky, from Donegal originally, had previously mentioned that Shay was “the most important thing of all” for her.

When the news came that the pair were officially an item, Becky faced plenty of backlash from people online, after Shay’s marriage broke down.

Shay and his now estranged wife Jane Cunningham met in 1990 in Glasgow when he played for Newcastle United. They wed in 2001 and were divorced in June of last year.

They had two children together Shayne, 9, and Sienna who is six years old.

Shay is not the only Irish sports star with baby news of late. In recent weeks Robbie Keane took to Facebook to reveal that he and his wife Claudine are expecting their second child.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens was on hand at the 2015 Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles when she revealed that her father is battling cancer.

The 26-year old performer was at the bash with benefits a charity for dancers who have survived cancer. The Circle of Hope charity supports dancers who are cancer survivors and getting back into the industry.

She told the audience that her boyfriend Austin Butler, also an actor, had lost his mother to the disease.

Vanessa was accepting the Breakthrough Performance award at the ceremony and in a touching moment dedicated the award to her father and to Austin’s mother. She said:

 ''Last year, my boyfriend, Austin, lost his mom, Lori, to cancer, and my dad has just been recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. Let me tell you, I hate cancer. I hate cancer with every cell of my being.''

Entertainment Tonight reports that she also talked about the strength which people need to get through such a difficult time for their family or friends.

She said she wished to dedicate the award to the “families out there who are struggling with this, because it really takes a strong person and a strong family to be able to help those out who are going through this.''

A month ago, the star took to social media to ask her fans to pray for her father and for his “healing”, she told her fans “the more prays the better”.

 While she had mention back then her father was unwell, it was not until last night that she chose to reveal the nature of his illness.

Jenelle Evans, star of MTV’s reality series Teen Mom, has been arrested for alleged assault.

On Thursday in South Carolina it is believed Jenelle, 23, had a run in with her now ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith’s new girlfriend.

People magazine reports that officers were called to a house in the Myrtle Beach area for an assault at around two in the afternoon.

It is believed that the victim is Nathan’s girlfriend and that she was at the house to help him back up his belongings as he no longer lives there.

The victim, 29, claims that Jenelle threw a drinking glass at her head. Jenelle has been charged with assault in the third degree.

In May of this year, she was arrested for allegedly assaulting Nathan, 27, and charged with domestic violence.

He told officers at the time that Jenelle had come to his home and assaulted him and he then asked for a restraining order. She then asked him to come outside or threatened she would damage his property.

Once outside, Jenelle, who “smelled of alcohol” then is reported to have physically attacked Nathan.

Myrtle Beach Online reports that according to jail records, this is the third arrest for the mother of two this year.

The two, who split in July, had gotten engaged in January. Just days after Nathan proposed the two were locked in a heated argument which viewers saw play out on the series Teen Mom.

Since then the pair have had a rocky on/off relationship. They also have a son together, Kaiser, who is one year old.

SHe was also arrested in February of this year for driving without a license. Less than a month ago she shared happy photos on her Instagram account on her graduation day. Both Nathan and her mom Barbara, with whom she also had a troubled relationship, were on hand at the big day to support the reality TV star.

For the last 12 months, a mom from Bray has been training hard in the run up to a 24 hour challenge in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.

Keiva will complete just over a marathon distance (26.8 miles) climb of 12,000 on the day, starting at 11am and continuing on the hour, every hour for 24 hours.

She writes:

“I’m a Bray mum. I have being training hard over the past year and have set myself the goal to raise money for the CF unit in Temple Street Children’s Hospital.”

On her Facebook page she gives regular updates of her training with her training partner, Kerry the dog.  Over a year ago she made the decision to step out of the gym and since then has never looked back. She started off climbing Bray Head once a day, then it increased to twice a day.

She has never intended on taking on such a huge challenge but the mom of four realised whn she could do five consecutive climbs, she could use it as a platform to raise money for charity.

Speaking to the Independent Keiva said:

“It’s the best thing I ever did. I never appreciated what I had on the doorstep before.”

It was her friend’s son Zack who inspired the challenge. Zack is 10 years old and due to his Cystic Fibrosis has to go to the hospital four or even five times a year. The cause was clearly close to her heart and Keiva decided that she could so something to help.

At this point Keiva says she can ascend and descend Bray Head in about 18 minutes, on the day she will probably slow down to 30 minutes in order to pace herself through the night.

It looks like Kylie Jenner may not be the only sister who is fond of changing her style these days.

While Kendall may not be so daring with her choice of hair colour, and we’re assuming that has a lot to do with her modelling career, things seem to have changed.

The 19-year old has been holidaying in St. Barts with her family and it looks like all that time in sunshine has really gotten to her, because her hair is now blonde.

She debuted her new look on Instagram with the caption “Ken-doll”, and we have to admit that we needed to do a double take. We also enjoyed how she saw the opportunity for pun use, and she took it.

Considering how her trademark look for some time now has been those dark shiny locks, this made for quite the change.

Quite an amazing change really, because she still looks fantastic.

Regardless of how bold it was for Kendall to go from dark brown to a more honey-blonde hue, she’s not exactly the first Kardashian-Jenner to try the blonde look.

Khloe, Kourtney, Kim and Kylie have all gone the blonde route at some point, although some of the transformations have been more shocking than others. The sisters are also fans of changing up their looks in less than permanent ways.

So we shall have to wait and see if this is indeed a total transformation for Kendall, or if she was wearing a wig after all.

Humans of New York has been one of our favourite Facebook pages for an extremely long time, and we think it may have just gotten even better.

The photographs posted on the site of the different people living in New York city have made us laugh until we cry… and sometimes just cry in general. 

The owner of the site, Brandon Stanton, has been travelling around Pakistan for the past few weeks taking pictures for his site and they are truly amazing.

With a photograph and a quote, he has given us all an insight into the lives of people in a country we don't actually know too much about and it is so absorbing.

As part of his trip, Brandon visited a brick kiln factory and its workers. In Pakistan, the brick kiln industry is the closest thing to slavery that exists and the people there work in awful conditions for very little money. 

“Over 20,000 brick kilns operate in Pakistan, supported by millions of workers, and the system is largely underpinned by an extremely close cousin of slavery—bonded labour,” Stanton wrote on Instagram.

“If the labourer dies, the debt is passed on to his or her children. The practice is illegal. But due to the extreme power and wealth of brick kiln owners, the law is often unenforced in rural areas,” he said.

The Facebook page shared some inspiring stories of the individuals working there and their life struggles and it turns out, with the help of fans, he has now been able to make a huge difference to their lives. 

Brandon introduced the world to Syeda Ghulam Fatima, an activist who helps people who are stuck in the brick kiln industry and she leads Bonded Labour Liberation Front, a group who are fighting to end the practise. 

“She has been shot, electrocuted, and beaten numerous times for her activism,” he wrote. “Quite literally, she places herself between the workers and their owners.”

Before the picture of Syeda was shared on Facebook along with her story, she feared her and her group would no longer be able to help people and that she wouldn't be able to even pay for her own medical expenses. 

However, in a truly heart-warming turn of events, Brandon announced on Monday that with the help of his followers they almost €2 million had been raised online for them. 

Brandon shared Syeda's thanks on his account:

"I struggle to find the words, I don't think I have the words to tell you how grateful we are. You have donated for freedom, for rehabilitation and we are indebted. Thank you so much. The prayers of every labourer are with you and they will always hold you in their hearts."

Good news for anyone who wasn't lucky enough to get a pair of the Yeezy Boost 350s the first time round, the second model of the runners will be available in Brown Thomas from this Saturday. 

This edition of the infamous trainers sees the design come in all black, rather than the grey that were originally released. 

The first model of these runners saw people queuing for up to 48 before sale as there were so few pairs available in Ireland and the UK. But if you missed out last time, you now have another chance to get your hands on them. 

Fashion director in Brown Thomas, Shelly Corkery said: "The first Yeezy Boost 350 sold out within hours when the launched in June with a queue of customers outside BT2 before it opened."

"We have a limited number of the trainers available and we're expecting the same sell-out response with the new, sleek black version."

The shoes retail at €200 and are available in BT2 from 9am on Saturday the 22nd of August.

Get ready to splurge next season!

We just arrived back from Harvey Nichols' press presentation where we discovered ALL the exciting new trends and brands for the forthcoming season. 

We were greeted by the Style Concierge of the store with tasty cakes and drinks to snack on (we obvs just couldn't say no). 

Anita Barr, fashion buying director at Harvey Nichols, presented the trends for A/W with gorgeous Dublin model Yomiko Chen showcasing the looks in Dundrum Town Centre. 

Anita joined HN in April and it's clear that she has big dreams for the major fashion house. 

She brought us through a comprehensive presentation about all the new trends and brands that will be entering the store over the next few months – and they are ALL right on the money. 

The key trends included Studio 54 which was full of decadent and luxurious pieces from brands such as Finders Keepers, Galvan and Alice + Olivia. 

Victoriana, the next key trend, is inspired by modern gothic looks from Temperly and Talbot Runhoff. Expect to see a lot of lace and velvet pieces in the gorgeous collections. 

Rebel Rebel was our favourite trend from the afternoon, with a mix of grunge and rock inspired looks. Isabel Marant, DKNY and Belstaff will be your go-to brands if you want to achieve the adventurous look. 

There will be an array of new clothing and accessories brands entering the Dublin store next season too; Noir Sachin & Babi, Hugo Boss, Crea Concept, Canada Goose and Kenzo will fill the shops floors. 

Meanwhile, hitting UK stores next month are Adeam, Mugler, Fendi, Mr & Mrs and Saflyaa – which Gwyneth Palthrow is a huge fan of. But why are we telling you about the new UK brands? Because you can get them here too. Hurrah!

It has been over two years since Gossip Girl ended, and Penn Badgley has certainly left his Dan Humphrey days behind.

Badgley now serves as frontman to his new band MOTHXR. 

He started the band with friends, Simon Ocroft, Darren Will and Jimmy Giannopolous but the sound is far from what lonely boy would have listened to. 

Penn's musical love-child has mixed sounds of indie rock and electronica. You can't really put a finger on their sound but MOTHXR fuses classic vibes with their own unique edge through the mix of each member's raw, undeniable talent. 

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Penn said: “The second we sat down, it just immediately became that band."

“We worked in an incredibly fluid and spontaneous process. It was purely electronic, and also purely organic.”

When asked if he is now an actor or a rock star Penn told EW: “I’m both.”  

“I kind of hate using the word ‘artist’ because I certainly wouldn’t expect anyone to consider me as such at this point. I enjoy making all kinds of different things and different creative projects."

"I’ve continued acting — I’ve been in three films since the show ended that have all been strange, rewarding independent experiences.

"None of them were big, but I’m going to keep doing my thing.”
