Glee actress Lea Michele was the subject of new rumours today after she was pictured wearing a sparkler on her wedding finger.

The star was seen leaving Jimmy Kimmel's studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday night sporting a never-seen-before black and gold ring.

Interesting!

However although the 28-year-old actress has been officially dating boyfriend Matthew Paetz since last June, friends say it's unlikely the pair will be getting engaged any time soon. Lea is keen to finish up with Glee before she makes any life-changing decisions, such as agreeing to get married.

"She wants to fully love on from the show, have it end and then she would start considering engagement and marriage," a source said.

And with so many memories of Lea's late boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith connected to her work on Glee, the actress is reluctant to take things to the next level with Matthew any time soon. "She thinks that getting engaged while still on Glee would be a slap in the face to Cory Monteith. There is still too much emotion around," the insider revealed.

We're glad to see Lea is happy, and even more delighted that she's wise enough to take things slowly!

We said goodbye to Will & Grace back in 2006, but nine years on, it turns out the cast are still pals.

Fans of the show got a nostalgia overload earlier this week when Eric McCormack, who played Will, posted a sweet picture of himself with former co-star Debra Messing.

Just look at them! The cute reunion snap was captioned, "Dropping in on an old friend. Well, not OLD… @DebraMessing @NBCLaura"

We wonder where Jack and Karen were? Probably being catty in the corner…

Debra and Eric's reunion doesn't stop there though, as it turns out the pair will be appearing together on screen again in an upcoming episode of Debra's new show, The Mysteries of Laura. Eric will reportedly play a "roguish" heart surgeon who just so happens to be Laura's ex-fiancé.

The actress posted a picture of herself and Eric on set with the caption, "YES, THAT'S RIGHT. WE'RE BAAAACCCCCCKKKK @EricMcCormack @NBCLaura.”

Now, excuse us while we go on a Will & Grace DVD binge…

Emma Watson made headlines four months ago when she gave an eloquent and moving speech to the UN about gender inequality.

Now the actress has spoken out on the issue again, taking to the stage at the Davos World Economic Forum in her role as UN Women Goodwill Ambassador.

The Harry Potter star said she was "stunned" by the response to her original speech and her call for men and women to work harder in the fight against gender inequality.

"Everything from marathons being run, merchandise being created, 15-year-old boys writing to national newspapers deploring female discrimination, young girls collecting hundreds of signatures –  it’s all happened in the last four months,” she said. “I couldn’t have dreamed it, but it’s happened. Thank you so much.”

Emma told the forum's audience about the new IMPACT 10x10x10 initiative, which asks people from all walks of life to share their gender equality stories and to tell the world what they are doing as part of the #HeForShe project.

"Girls, who have been your mentors? Parents, did you make sure you treated your children equally? If so, how have you done it? Husbands, have you been supporting your female partner privately so that she can fulfil her dreams too? Young men, have you spoken up in a conversation when a woman was casually degraded or dismissed?" asked the star.

She continued by asking people to be transparent about their actions and to share them with others. "Decide what your commitment is, make it public and then please report back to us on your progress, so that we can share your story," said the actress.

More information about the UN's #HeForShe project and the new initiative can be found here.

A young woman's simple but startling video has gone viral this week, after she bravely chose to share her story of abuse, bullying and self-harm with the world.

Anne Gruenwald was abused by her mother's boyfriend from the age of seven. What followed was years of depression and self-harm as Anna tried to come to terms with what she had gone through at such a young age.

Now in her teens, Anna has told her story to the world, to show others that they are not alone.

What a brave young woman.

Nicole Ritchie ditched her platinum blonde shade over a year ago, and it seems she's not going to be saying goodbye to her wild techicolour tresses anytime soon!

Last summer the Simple Life star ditched her fair hair for a bleached lavender shade, which she later changed to a light blue. And now the mum-of-two has taken her bold hairstyle to the next level with a day-glo pink bob!

Nicole teased her new look with an Instagram post last night showing three Polaroids of her in what looked like a pink wig, but just hours later the TV personality debuted the real thing on the red carpet at the Daily Front Row Fashion Awards.

The 33-year-old looked amazing with her new chin-length pink bob, teaming it with a black sequinned dress. And who better to pose with than the similarly florescent Katy Perry?!

Speaking last year about the daring decision to go lavender, Nicole said the choice was all down to her seven-year-old daughter Harlow.

"She asked me, ‘Why don’t you ever dye your hair?’ — and so we did it," said the star at the time. We wonder if neon pink was Harlow's choice too?

Us Irish love a classic crisp sandwich. Most commonly made with cheese and onion Taytos or King’s, some people are into more edgy crisp sandwich flavours, like salt and vinegar.

But this…This goes beyond anything we ever wanted to see in a crisp sandwich. The brave people behind Facts. have been testing out some more unusual flavours, such as peanut butter, gherkin and salt and vinegar sandwich.

Or perhaps you’d prefer a more classic Meanies, cheese and mustard?

We can’t really see ourselves tucking into any of those the day after a night out somehow…Don't mess with a classic!

Ah, Tinder. The single woman's mecca. Whether you're a "swipe now, unmatch later" kinda gal, or whether you vet each profile carefully before making your choice, you'll know that Tinder can provide hours of endless fun, both online and off.

Getting started is simple: sign up with Facebook, choose a few good photos, set your age and location preferences and get swiping. After about ten minutes though, it'll be abundantly clear that every potential Tinder match fits into one of the following categories…

1. The "only in this for the ride" guy
If his "I'm only in this for the ride" bio didn't make things obvious enough, his mainly shirtless pictures should drive the point home. Looking for something serious? MOVE ON, LADIES.

2. The "not over his girlfriend" guy
If one of more of his pictures feature him looking cosy and romantic with another girl, swipe left. For God's sake, swipe left. Nobody wants to be left consoling their date about the one that got away.

3. The "has no idea how this Tinder yoke works" guy
No bio, one blurry group picture… why are you even here, buddy? Moving on.

4. The "can't talk, working out" guy
His first photo probably features him mid-squat, with at least one image of his eight-pack in there somewhere too. We never say no to a toned body, but we'd rather someone with a few other interests too, thanks.

5. The "WTF??!!!" guy
Oh, so he's photoshopped himself against a neon green background and added a unicorn horn to his head. Interesting. Also… terrifying. Although his profile is definitely worth screenshotting for later use, we'd recommend swiping left here for your own personal safety.

6. The "travel is my life" guy
If anyone's going to have a selfie with a tiger, it's this guy. He'll also have a token "gazing thoughtfully over Machu Picchu" or "chillin' with indigenous children" picture, to show how worldly he is. Dreadlocks are also a common feature of this particular Tinderite.

7. The "I'm too dark and intense for you" guy
Black-and-white emo selfie? Check. Picture of him looking soulful on stage? Check. This guy is waaay too cool for Tinder – except he's here anyway for some reason.

8. The "Classic Hipster" guy
Amazing hair, checked shirt, braces, dickie bow, French bulldog trotting along beside him… you've found the Classic Hipster Man. If you're a Classic Hipster Lady, then by God woman, swipe right!

I’m kind of sick of talking about Lena Dunham, but you know what? At this stage, she’s unavoidable.

Back in 2012, I read countless reviews, debates and discussions on the subject of Girls both before and after watching it myself. They ranged from the complimentary to the extremely disparaging, but I did get the sense from all of this media buzz that what I was hearing about was a Very Important Show. (The exact same story could be told about the 2014 release of Dunham’s book, Not That Kind of Girl.)

A note on the negativity. I’m struggling to think of one male in my own recent memory to have received such a litany of abuse for simply writing an honest piece of work. This fact in itself is the essence of why the following is my favourite line from NTKOG:

"There is nothing gutsier to me than a person announcing that their story is one that deserves to be told, especially if that person is a woman."

I couldn’t agree more. Lena Dunham has been dismissed by a lot of writers as excessively privileged and thus unrelatable, and this is also visible in the show, but I think there are a lot of key moments and issues raised in Girls that manage to transcend class and culture. The good, the bad, and the downright embarrassing are all there, in plain sight.

A classic scene is the ‘Cos it’s Wednesday night, baby, and I’m alive’ one. Most have us are familiar with it, right? I think there’s something about the utter ridiculousness of this entire episode that we can all identify with a little. Sure, not so many of us will have had that experience while wearing a string vest, high in a Brooklyn warehouse, but it’s somehow relatable nonetheless. That night when you’re out when you shouldn’t be, knowing you have responsibilities tomorrow, straddling the gap between vague maturity and full-on adulthood. It’s refreshingly normal and a bit ugly – the reality that we’re all a little bit irresponsible, after all.

Speaking of responsibility, Hannah’s problems at the beginning of Girls season one are decidedly first-world – her parents take her out to dinner in order to urge her to, well, get a real job. Safe to say that many viewers weren’t exactly crying her a river. With a good dose of perspective, Shoshanna’s terror at finally exiting university, still healing from a breakup and facing into the real world are similarly ridiculous – but it’s a feeling that so many of us have had. Hands up who’s still pretending that they won’t be working 9-5 for the rest of their life?! I know I am.

On that note, it seems to me that a resounding theme throughout the series is fear. Marnie’s fear upon exiting a serious relationship that has dominated her adult life. Adam’s initial phobia of commitment. Hannah’s continuing terror that she’ll never ‘make it’ – and any time she does make any kind of tangible professional progress, she gets impostor syndrome! It’s hard not to relate on some level.

I’ve yet to speak to a female I know who doesn’t like the show. Although the scenes and characters don’t immediately speak to everyone, it’s the ugly underbelly of self-doubt and unease felt by so many of us twenty-somethings that ultimately carries this series, and it’s too painfully honest to ignore.

Even if you're not a natural morning person, you'll know how refreshing it is to wake up earlier than usual.

There's time to actually choose a proper outfit, do your make-up properly, eat breakfast at the table rather than en route to the bus, and get a workout in before hitting work or college.

All in all, waking up early gives you a great headstart to the rest of the day – but it's actually doing it that's the problem. You may have had the best of intentions last night, but the snooze button always tends to work its black magic on you when 7am hits.

Here are a few techniques to help you on the way to becoming a natural early riser!

1. Get to bed earlier
Obvious, we know, but SO important. There's no point in forcing yourself to get up at 6.30am after six hours sleep if you're going to be knackered for the rest of the day. The recommended amount of sleep is between seven and nine hours per night – some people need more and some need less. Get enough and you'll wake up refreshed and motivated for the day ahead.

2. Go to sleep when you're tired
There's no harm in going to bed super-early every once in a while. Most of us have a "normal" bedtime that we try to stick to, be it 9pm, 10pm, 11pm or later. If you find you're yawning and feeling sleepy earlier on in the evening though, listen to your body and hit the hay. Powering on through can make you over-tired, meaning you'll find it harder to drift off later.

3. Get up at the same time every day
This doesn't just mean setting your alarm for 7am every morning – it means actually getting out of bed at 7am every day, too. Establishing a morning routine helps your internal clock to stabilise itself, meaning you'll begin to feel more energised in the morning. The bad news? Sleeping in on weekends will only throw everything out of whack again, so try not to lie in too late.

4. Get moving as soon as you wake up
If your room is dark when you wake up, open the curtains and get going. The more you move and expose yourself to natural light, the less groggy you'll feel. Head into the kitchen for a glass of water, turn the coffee machine on, jump straight into the shower or go for a jog – whatever you need to do to wake yourself up, do it!

5. Schedule workouts for the morning
Not only will this motivate you to get up on time each day, but an early workout will also leaving you feel bright and refreshed for the day ahead. A morning gym session is a great way to boost your metabolism and keep you energised. Plus, once your workout is done, it;s out of the way – no dragging yourself to a spin class in the rain after work.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been surrounded by pregnancy rumours following her absence from the National Television Awards on Wednesday night.

While she did tweet a congratulations to The X Factor on their win, her absence was noted and many began to speculate that she may be pregnant with her first child. She has been unusually quiet on social media and hasn’t been doing many public events since The X Factor season ended before Christmas.

Many fans believed she was replying to the pregnancy rumours when she tweeted: “People should never jump to conclusions about others .. You never know what they may be dealing with #thatsall.”

Now it seems she may be planning something big as she shared an Instagram snap and captioned: “Exciting day ahead.”

Could a baby announcement be on the horizon?

Update 14:36pm: Alas, the Geordie star has just made her announcement on Twitter…and it wasn't baby news! Cheryl cheekily tweeted: "I'm happy to announce my exciting news. I will be delivering my first…centre in Newcastle for #CherylsTrust."

Thanks for the mini heart-attack, Cheryl! This is also a lovely announcement though!
