There are so many different diets that claim to help you lose weight and give you the perfect body.

From the 5:2 diet to the Atkins diet to Victoria Beckham’s five hands diet, no doubt a lot women have tried at least one.

However, Dr. Brian Weiner suggests that the easiest diet to help you lose weight is the Ice Diet.

While his idea may sound a little crazy, the doctor doesn’t suggest you simply eat ice all day, but rather enjoy a litre of shaved or crushed ice daily.

Apparently this will help “burn about 160 calories” every day.

According to Weiner: “The Ice Diet works by increasing the basal metabolic rate. When ingesting clinically significant amounts of ice, the body must burn energy to warm the ice to body temperature. The ingestion of ice would also provide some level of satiety.”

Not sure if we’ll be giving this a try, but each to their own!

While feminism seems to be a hot topic lately, Lana Del Rey is just not interested.

In a recent interview she said: “the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept. I’m more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what’s going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities. Whenever people bring up feminism, I’m like, god. I’m just not really that interested.”

She added that her idea of a true feminist is “a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants”.

The star also spoke out about the depression she experienced when critics ripped her debut album Born to Die to shreds.

“I totally wanted to kill myself every day. It’s just heavy performing for people who really care about you, and you don’t really care that much about yourself sometimes.

“I thought it was sad to be in Ireland singing for people who really cared when I wasn’t sure if I did.”

Pharrell Williams angered some of his fans this week, after he decided to wear a Native American headdress on the cover of Elle UK.

The singer has now issued an apology and said he never meant to cause any offence.

“I respect and honour every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry.”

This came after fans began to create a Twitter trend of “NotHappy” to vent their frustration over the controversial magazine cover.

This isn’t the first time Pharrell has upset fans, as the signer shared some questionable comments over his hit song, Blurred Lines last year.

Mike O’Shea has become the first person to fly from Mizen Head to Malin Head on a paramotor – a powered glider.

Supported by Vodafone Ireland to mark the launch of their Vodafone Firsts programme, this was a dream of Mike’s ever since he started paramotoring.

Talking about his experience, he said: “I’m always on the lookout for new challenges and the chance to take on a new adventure. Becoming the first person to paramotor from Mizen to Malin has been a personal ambition since I first took up this sport.”

The three day trip took Mike from Cork to Donegal – a distance of over 590km – and reached heights of up to 10,000 feet.

Strong winds and dodgy weather conditions might have put many of us off the challenge but Mike was not to be discouraged: “I’ve achieved many things in my life but this certainly ranks up there with the best of them. And the great thing is that I can also share it with anyone who wants to watch!”

Fair play to Mike, don’t think we would have the nerve!

It’s not that long since Rihanna decided to reveal a little too much with her see through dress at the CFDAs on Monday.

But now the singer is at the centre of another controversy, as its been revealed that her perfume advert has now been banned in the UK.

The ad features Rihanna in a topless pose curled up against a giant bottle of perfume with a pair of heels.

The ad has been taken down in public areas in the UK where children could possibly see them. The British Advertising Standards Authority said that Rihanna’s pose could be considered “sexually suggestive” by some.

But we doubt Rihanna isn’t worried too much about her ad being banned, as the singer wasn’t even bothered by comments surrounding her CFDA ensemble!

And to prove how much she didn’t care about the comments, she decided to change her profile picture of Family Guy character Peter Griffin, who happens to be wearing the same controversial CFDA dress.

Oh Rihanna, you always have the best comebacks!

Kendall Jenner has definitely been busy in the last few days, from attending Kim’s big wedding, to releasing a YA novel with her little sister, Kylie and now her latest modelling shoot has certainly raised a few eyebrows.

Pictures were released today of the 18-year-old model posing in a series of topless shoots for Interview Magazine.

Even though the Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is not wearing much in the seductive photos, Kendall seems more than happy with her modelling career.

“To be honest, this is exactly what I wanted to be. I was always looking up to supermodels. They were, like, my superheroes.”

Kendall said she owes her career drive to her parents Kris and Bruce.

“My parents brought up Kylie and me to be workaholics. That’s something I really appreciate. My dad is my everything. He always had the craziest speeches for Kylie [Kendall’s younger sister] and me growing up, good words to live by.”

While two sneak peeks have already been released for the anticipated film, Love, Rosie last month. The first official teaser trailer was finally released for the exciting new rom com this afternoon.

Love, Rosie is a film adaptation of Cecelia Ahern’s hit book, Where Rainbows End and stars the gorgeous Sam Clafin and Lily Collins.

But one thing is for sure, after this trailer we can’t wait to watch the film in full this October.

Katy Perry decided to dish all the dirt on her love life in a recent interview for Cosmopolitan.

In the last few months, Katy has been rumoured to be dating the likes of Robert Pattinson and DJ Diplo, since her split with ex-boyfriend, John Mayer.

But the 29-year-old singer revealed that despite all the rumours, she’s still single but doesn’t plan on staying that way for much longer.

“I don’t stay single for long. I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male. Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst. I’m not like Professor Higgins with my sex life. I’m not super strict. For me, the most important thing about sex is connection.”

The singer then admitted that she isn’t really into one night stands: “I’ve never been that way.”

Katy went on to reveal that she doesn’t have sex that often and said the longest she’s gone without sex has been “maybe six months or a year”.

But Katy was quick to point out that even though she doesn’t have sex that often, it doesn’t mean she enjoys it any less.

“If I could bottle up oxytocin—that chemical that’s released when you’re having sex—and put it in a new perfume, I would do it for sure.”

Well one thing is for sure, Katy doesn’t hold back when it comes to her sex life.

This simple cauliflower pizza base is so much healthier for you than the regular kind.

Not only is it gluten-free, but it is also low-fat and carb free for those watching their diet.

Add any toppings you like such as feta cheese, olives, kale, rocket – anything you want!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 4 tbsp. ground almonds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. chilli flakes (optional)

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Grate or pulse the cauliflower head into a rice-like consistency.
  2. Cook in the microwave for 3-4 mins on medium heat.
  3. Allow to cook and using a teacloth or a piece of cheesecloth, drain all of the moisture out of the cauliflower. Your hands will hurt after all that squeezing but a dry consistency is essential.
  4. In a large bowl add the almonds, basil and chilli flakes to the cauliflower. Mix to combine and season well.
  5. Add the egg and bring the dough-like mixture together.
  6. On a baking sheet, spread the mixture out into a pizza shape, making sure to keep it nice and round as well as quite thin. This will ensure a crispy base.
  7. Bake for about 30 mins, flipping over once the top gets golden and is firm enough to turn without breaking.
  8. Add your toppings such as a tomato sauce, cheese, veg, meat and anything else you like.
  9. Return to the oven to melt the cheese and enjoy!

Little Mix went for a seriously sophisticated look for last night’s Glamour Awards.

The girls looked stunning in their outfits and even went for a matching monochrome look.

Leigh-Anne slicked her hair into a low ponytail and went for a very classy gown with grey detail while Jesy broke up her all black outfit with crimson lips.

Perrie went for a flowing dress with black detail, which we love, while Jade kept it simple in all white with a red lip.

While we do generally love the girls’ individual and sometimes crazy style, it’s lovely to see them like this for a change!
