Festival season is now officially upon us, and with Body and Soul happening next week it won’t be long until we are donning our wellies, flower hairbands and teeny tiny shorts.

Rather than ending the night with matted hair, here are 5 perfect festival hairstyles:

Top knot
Pull all your hair back really tight and tie it in a top knot. Pop on a pair of sunnies and you’ll be able to enjoy the music without getting hair in your mouth!

Straight
Straighten your hair and pull it to the side. Accessorise with a flower hairband or trilby.

Thin plaits
Give yourself a deep side parting. On the side of your hair with the less hair create a simple plait. Add some mousse to the other side to give your hair more volume.

Plait upstyle

Part your hair in a centre parting. Plait each side, pull them up and wrap them around your head. Secure with bobby pins.

If you thought the water charges were bad, then feast your eyes on the $8 ice cubes from Glace Luxury Ice Co.

The company have created “a zero-taste(TM) profile ice which, unlike traditional ice products, allows the consumer to maximize the beverage experience”.

Hmm, we can’t remember if our average ice ever did anything other than maximise our beverage experience by making it nice and cold, but according to Glace:

“Traditional machine-ice, generally made with local tap water, may contain upwards of 150 impurities and carcinogens, resulting in poor tasting and potentially unhealthy ice.”

We’ll take their word for it….

The controversial singer has been on something of a noble quest to win his wife Paula Patton back for some time now, and this is his latest move.

Co-dependent
Feeling like you can’t live without the other person is no way to live. You will both end up letting other aspects of your life suffer in order to make the relationship work. Skipping out on nights out with friends or quitting your job in order to spend more time with your other half isn’t good – and your other half shouldn’t encourage you to do these kinds of things either.

Dominating
This is possibly one of the most dangerous relationships. Your man may become super jealous and demand you don’t talk to any of your male friends anymore, or he may hate it when you go out with your friends without him. These guys can usually be pretty charming so it’s hard to realise what he’s up to, but once you do, you’ll want to get out. Living under someone else’s control is awful.

Toxic
You both probably really like each other but all you seem to do is fight, because you can’t agree on anything. Not good.

Prize Possession
He’s either gorgeous or loaded, or both, and he wants a pretty lady on his arm. That’s it. Nothing more. No thanks – we can’t look good every day!

Good on Paper
He looks great, is really nice and has a good job. Your friends like him, your parents like him – even your dog likes him. But you are just not too bothered. You’ll probably try really hard to get to like him for a while but eventually you’ll have to give him his p45. It’s a tragic situation to find yourself in!

The prankster was sentenced to 20 days community service for a red carpet attack on Brad Pitt, but is still finding bizarre ways of getting to the celebs.

He was spotted cheekily wearing a Brad Pitt t-shirt while performing his punishment duties.

This summer, Newbridge Silverware will be showcasing a set of earrings worn by Marilyn Monroe at the premier of The Rose Tattoo in 1955, alongside Marlon Brando.

The earrings will be in the Museum of Style Icons, alongside a number of Marilyn’s other possessions, such as a pink Pucci dress, and the coat she wore in the 1957 movie, the Prince and the Showgirl.
