When Luke Grimes quit True Blood we were told it was over ‘creative differences’, but now a report is saying that those creative differences were because the writers had planned on Luke’s character James having an affair with the openly gay Lafayette, played by Nelsan Ellis.

A source revealed that Grimes would only play the role if it was clear that Lafayette’s attraction to him wasn’t mutual, and he objected to any same sex kissing or sex scenes.

Grimes’ publicist claimed that he dropped out of the show to pursue other opportunities.

We’re sure he’ll be releasing a statement to deny everything any day now!

If you are travelling long haul this summer the chances of you getting a blood clot is significantly higher. Thankfully there are certain things you can do to prevent it.

Here are four tips to help ensure you avoid developing any clots:

Move around
If on an aeroplane try to get up off your seat at least every two hours. If you are driving, make sure you stop every few miles to stretch your legs. This will help keep the blood moving and circulating through your body.

Drink water
Make sure you drink plenty of water. Not only will it keep you hydrated, it will also mean you will need to take a lot more toilet breaks encouraging you to walk around.

Wear DVT socks
DVT socks are great for keeping the blood flowing in your legs, so make sure you pick up a pair. They are readily available in pharmacies and are great for giving you peace of mind.

Clothing
Wear loose fitting clothing and avoid anything that is too tight around your waist. Leggings and loose tunics are great for flights – they are really comfy too.

Made in Chelsea’s Binky Felstead was rushed to hospital during the week after burning her leg – though she didn’t reveal how she did it.

She’s been spotted out filming scenes in New York and by the looks of it, that burn is going to leave a scar! She better keep lashing on the antiseptic cream!

If you love bed and you love pizza, why not put the two together to create a pizza bed? That’s what New York-based art director Claire Manganiello must have thought when she came up with this duvet cover.

The project is still in the development stages, and we kinda think it should stay there. Pizza is served best in a box, not a bed!

Alexa Chung’s impact on the fashion world seems to be only getting bigger as it’s been revealed that she will now be designing her own set of jeans.

Chung has signed up with American denim label Adriano Goldschmied, to design a collection of 20 denim pieces.

Alexa spoke recently about the denim label and what she felt was missing from the collection.

“The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic.”

The new denim line will include T-shirts, dresses as well as jeans.

And if designing the collection wasn’t enough, Alex will also be the face of the new denim range too.

Rosanna Davison and her husband Wes Quirke have jetted off on their honeymoon to the Seychelles.

Quirke took to Twitter to express how excited he was about their getaway:

“Honeymoon suite #sychelles #presidentalsuite #lapreslin #huge #jacuzzi #lifestyle #pools #suite #5star #LetTheRidingBegin.”

Jeez, Wes! Don’t hold back! He’s since deleted the tweet – we wonder if Rosanna put her foot down?!

The Irish beauty has said that they’re really enjoying married life:

“It’s not massively different than before. We’re like, ‘Was something meant to change?’ It hasn’t really changed our relationship at all.

“It’s actually more fun – especially doing things together. We’re actually getting on great because you’re in it for life and you just want to get on really well together and experience lots of things together.”

Well we know what they’ll be experiencing together on their honeymoon anyway!

A new study has called women “intimate terrorists” and claims that women are usually the most responsible parties for aggression in the majority of heterosexual relationships.

A study from the University of Cumbria questioned over 1,104 young men and women about physical aggression controlling behaviour involving their partners and friends.

Dr. Elizabeth Bates who created the study said that just as many women as men could be classed with abusive behaviour in their relationship.

“This study found that women demonstrated a desire to control their partners and were more likely to use physical aggression than men. This suggests that IPV may not be motivated by patriarchal values and needs to be studied within the context of other forms of aggression, which has potential implications for interventions.”

Dr. Bates said she deliberately focused the studies on late teens and early twenties because statistically they were most likely to be victims of aggression.
