Is the bob officially taking over?

First there was Kaley Cuoco, then Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss, Zosia Mamet and now Sarah Michelle Gellar!

The stunning actress shared an image of her hair transformation with her Twitter followers, writing: “Time for a change. Thanks @mararoszak for cutting and @rachel_goodwin and @TaraSwennan for talking me into it.”

Sarah Michelle has kept her blondey-brown colour and gone for a rather short bob – we love it!

Would you be convinced to go for the chop? We’re certainly tempted…

We all love to indulge in some fancy underwear, but according to Debenhams’ latest research, wearing your underwear as outerwear is the latest trend.

B by Ted Baker has seen an uplift of 132% in the sales of printed chemises since May with the floral garden print chemise proving most popular. Other best sellers include camisole tops, skirt slips and lacy night dresses, which women are apparently incorporating into their work-wear.

Alain Mehada, head of Personal Styling at Debenhams gave this advice for people wanting to give this trend a go: “Try pairing a silk floral cami top with a pencil skirt and jacket for a chic glamourous look or pair a slip lace dress with a pretty cardigan. Elegant sleepwear such as soft silk printed pyjama tops paired with the right trousers is a classy style and can easily be translated to office-day wear. Sophisticated and suitable for work, this catwalk trend is a hit.”

Victoria Beckham looked great in a Louis Vuitton black lace slip dress at the Wimbledon this week. So you see, Superman isn’t the only one who can rock his underwear on the outside.

One Tumblr blogger has turned Frozen’s princesses into fashion icons.

And now Tumblr blogger punziella has used her animation skills to transform Frozen princesses Anna and Elsa of Arendelle into seriously chic fashion icons.

Elsa’s blush pink hues and Anna’s pink metallic pleated skirt are so spring/summer 14!

And it gets better! Elsa’s Burberry-esque lilac shorts and sheer blouse combo is just bang on trend!

We can’t keep up with celebrities like Kelly Osbourne or Katy Perry’s fun hair colour changes.

Powder pink one day, slime green the next!

If you want in on this fun trend – even just for the weekend – follow these tips to make sure it’s not a hairy-rising disaster!

Do a trial run first
If you’re a fun colour newbie but are itching to try some bold colours, don’t book your hair appointment just yet. Try out different colours to see what looks good on you, with clip-in pieces or hair chalk.

Go to a professional
A colourist will be able to help you choose the colour and apply it the right way. This will save your bathroom from looking like a Skittles advert and save you from looking like a circus clown! They’ll also be able to talk you through the necessary upkeep that goes along with your hair colour choice.

Less is more
If you’re a fun colour newbie, you might want to avoid going  for a full head of crazy colours first off. Try adding a pop of colour into your highlights or bold colours just onto your ends instead.

Invest in a good shampoo
To keep your new look bright for as long as possible, make sure you have a good colour-safe shampoo and conditioner. You can also use colour-depositing shampoos and conditioners to keep certain tones brighter for longer.

Looks like it’s time to get those shoulders out, ladies!

Off-the-shoulder looks have become a staple of spring fashion so far this season.

Wearing your top or dress off-the-shoulder is a demure and feminine touch to any look .

Our favourite celebs are also following the trend including Kendall Jenner, Olivia Wilde, Miranda Kerr and Scarlett Johansson.

Scarlett and Olivia show how chic the off-the-shoulder look can be as an evening look while Miranda and Kendall demonstrate a more daytime, casual way to wear the off-the-shoulder trend.

While some of you may be horrified by this fact it would seem that the must-have 90’s hair accessory, scrunchies, are well and truly back in fashion.

Seen on celebs such as Fearne Cotton, Cara Delevigne, Suki Waterhouse and Selena Gomez, it would seem the 90’s hair accessory is this season’s must-have.

Use a cute scrunchie to liven up your regular ponytail or to jazz up a trendy topknot.

Get your fashionable scrunchie in Penney’s from only €1.50. Choose from  range of patterns and colours from neutral peach and white to floral and leopard print.

There is something there for every scrunchie-loving girl!

Jumpsuits are bang on trend at the moment.

There are so many different style and patterns, it can all be a bit overwhelming!

Patterned and light, comfy jumpsuits, like Selena and Alessandra’s are best for daytime.

They can be paired with gladiator sandals for a cute summery look.

Jumpsuits that are that little bit dressier are great for a going-out look, just pop on some heels, red lips and cute clutch like Gwen for instant chic.

Jumpsuits like Rosie’s can be dressed up or down as they have that element of versatility in the colour but are still comfy enough for daytime.

Trends come and go which is why it is important to make your home classic and timeless – but that doesn’t mean you have to forego the trends forever!

1. Neutral wall and furnishing colours
Painting and buying core furniture pieces only happens every couple of years. That hot pink sofa might not look so hot then.

2. Pick your trends
If you have to indulge in the trend of the moment, be it animal print or bold colours, choose pieces like throws, rugs, artwork and pillows. These can be cheaper than installing a leopard print carpet that will be out of fashion next week.

3. Wood
Wood will never go out of fashion. Though minimalism may be all the rage, wood in a home will always be warm, comforting and look great.

4. Minimal statement pieces
Less is more when it comes to decorating your home. Have a minimal amount of stand-out pieces to allow for a more classic and timeless look.

5. Comfort
Above all, always choose comfort over trend. If it is comfortable now, it will be in five years.

There’s a very fine line between heading out in lingerie that should be worn underneath clothing and wearing it to make a fashion statement – in this case, there’s a fine line between fierce and trashy.

Like any trend, the right tips and tricks can help make something work for you.

Tip 1: Mix up the fabrics

The last thing you want is to be busting out of your corset – never a good look for anyone.

Tip 3: Keep it simple
Add a cute pencil skirt or a small necklace to your outfit. This will make you will look tasteful and respectable at the same time.
