No wonder Kim spends so much time taking selfies, she’s got a book to fill!

Rizzoli New York, a prestigious American publisher, have announced that they will be publishing a 352-page book which will be filled with nothing but Kim Kardashian’s selfies.

They revealed: “For the first time in print, this book presents some of Kim’s favorite selfies in one volume—from her favorite throwback images to current ultra-sexy glam shots.

“Hailed by many (including Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci) as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe, Kim has become a true American icon.”

The book will be entitled ‘Selfish’ and can be yours for $19.95 in April 2015.

Expect to see a LOT of Kim’s face on her Instagram feed from here on in.

Oooooh it’s not long now before The X Factor hits our screens!

The live auditions are underway right now, and new judge Mel B wasted no time in taking to Instagram to share a sneak peek with fans.

She posted a snap with Cheryl Cole, captioning the snap, “Me and home girl Cheryl acting up on set right now wow it’s been along long day”.

Mel B also shared a snap of herself with Louis Walsh – who is pulling a pretty questionable facial expression we must say.

Blue Steel attempt Louis?!

“Yep 12:30am and we are still auditioning Xfactor,” Mel B captioned the picture.

No rest for the fabulous!

While many of us are already familiar with the popular photo sharing app that is Snapchat – it seems it’s popularity is now moving to a younger demographic.

13-year-old, Ruby Karp revealed in an account for Mashable that the app is now being used as form of free communication between teens.

She said like the majority us, that she mostly uses the app to share selfies with friends.

Ruby who is from New York, talked about the downsides of Snapchat  as well, which is the nude selfies.

“But it can also be used for other types of photos: the stuff of nightmares for parents. With Snapchat, your nude cannot (typically) be traced back to you, due to the fact that the photo literally lasts 10 seconds, or less. This is pretty appealing to teens and adults looking for a ‘good time.’”

Ruby even shared a screenshot of one incident where she was asked to send a nude selfie. While the 13-year-old said she wasn’t comfortable with sharing intimate shots on the site she was aware of some friends who did.

“There have been incidents with nudes being screenshotted among my friends. And remember Snap Save an app where you can screenshot the picture sent to you, without the person knowing.”

While the photo sharing app can be used a great way of free communication between friends, Ruby also highlighted that it can also be used as a tool for bullying.

“I try not to say anything risky in text messages, and I think bullies have the same method: They’re saving it for Snapchat. I have received hurtful Snapchats, but I have no proof that they ever said anything to me, because the picture went away in 10 seconds.”

While Ruby acknowledged the downsides of using the app, she insists parents have nothing to worry about.

“I think it is up to you how you use the app. And to every overprotective parent out there: As crazy as it may sound, don’t fret too much over the app. I’m sure your kid is just sending some ugly selfie of themselves! But if your kid takes off clothing, goes into the bathroom, shuts the door and you do not hear the shower water coming on: Be very afraid.”

Miley doesn’t look too excited about her recent trip to Dublin!

The singer uploaded a very tearful selfie to her Instagram account with the caption: “#saddaysindublin #sadselfies.”

The photo comes following a very poignant piece the singer wrote where she described the pain she is suffering following the death of her dog, Floyd.

Miley wrote: “A mother’s greatest responsibility is to keep their baby from anyone hurting them physically or emotionally. I was Floyd’s mommy. I don’t know when the regret or guilt will fade.”

Poor Miley, it’s never easy to lose a pet, hopefully her Dublin audience can cheer her up a bit!

We might ‘like’ it, but we’re secretly fuming on the inside!

1. A snap of you…in a bikini…on a beach…doing yoga. OK, so you’ve spent months trying to perfect your downward facing dog and yes, you look amazing for it, but PURRRLEASE don’t rub it in our faces. It’s not very Zen.

2. Pictures of an À la carte dish your Ryan Gosling lookalike boyfriend has just prepared for you. We’re eating frozen pizza tonight…Alone!

3. A photograph of the cleansing green juice you have just made and are about to drink. We’ll fully support yet another one of your juice detox diets, but please don’t make us feel bad about heating up last night’s leftover kebab for dinner.

4. A gym selfie. Again, see above. We’ll get around to our own gym membership when we’re good and ready, OK?!

5. Valentines’ Day cards/presents/cuddly toys/romantic meals/hotel breaks. Please have a heart and think of all the single ladies out there. Surely you were single once. No? Never?? Well, bully for you! Pass the cookie dough please.

6. Anything on a private jet.

7. Same goes for VIP entry to the hottest club in town, while we’re trying to sneak in through the toilet window.

8. A photo of your manicured feet on an exotic beach captioned ‘Paradise’. It’s lashing rain back home, and all we can afford this year is a weekend stay in our parent’s caravan…in the back garden.

9. A picture of your new designer handbag. You didn’t get that in Penneys did you?

10. Your fabulous new hairdo by a top stylist when we struggled to get a comb through our tangled mane this morning. The Sinead O’Connor look is back in again…isn’t it?!

James Franco has finally decided to tell us all why he has been posting creepy naked selfies.

The actor was on the Late Show with David Letterman when he was asked what he was doing posting photos like that on Instagram.

His answer? It’s what the people want.

It is? We do? If he just wants to share sexy selfies with his fans then he needs some posing pointers and maybe then we could be on to something.

Either way James, please stop.

Singer Katy Perry has taken to Twitter to blast the art of taking selfies.

The singer, who is currently letting her hair down at California music festival Coachella, tweeted, “Dear festival friends, remember selfing is a disease.”

SELFIE - USE

Katy was apparently posing for photographers at Harpers Bazaar’s private pool party when she was asked to take a selfie with another guest.

The 28-year-old singer reportedly refused at first and then spoke out against the popular trend before agreeing to a picture.

Katy then vented her frustrations via Twitter.

Comedienne Amy Poehler has also recently spoken out against the trend saying, “The amount of Instagram selfies is out–of–control.”

She added, “Pictures were an addition to the experience. Now the picture is the experience. If I’m hanging out with a friend, and they take a picture of me, it’s like ‘Ugh.’ I mean, I hate looking at pictures of myself. It immediately takes me out of the experience.”

Miley is never one to cover when it comes to selfies, but it seems the same can be said for her skin too.

The We Can’t Stop star showed a topless picture of her sunburnt skin after she spent some time on the beach in Florida

The singer may want to get a tan but is it worth getting so badly burnt over? We don’t think so.

There have been many memorable selfies but this person’s attempt to take a picture of the Drunken Satyr at the Milan’s Academy of Fine Arts ended in disaster.

It seems he or she thought it would be a good idea to climb on top of the famous statue and take a selfie but instead ended up snapping off the Satyr’s leg in the process.

Even though no one has come forward about the failed selfie attempt, museum authorities believe that a foreign student seen at the time was probably responsible for damaging the famous art work.

But technical problems with the museum’s camera footage has prevented security from finding out who really  damaged the statue, so it seems we’ll never know who was responsible for this epic selfie fail.
