Rory Gilmore

My love for Gilmore Girls knows no bounds. Once I entered the world of Stars Hollow there was no going back.

The show introduced me to the love of my life Jess Mariano and has engraved the lyrics to Carole King’s Where You Lead in my mind forever.

It also taught me some of the most wonderful life lessons that I will always carry with me.

This too shall pass:

Queen Gilmore herself taught me the most valuable lesson out of all the show’s ladies. During the revival series Emily moved me to tears as she dealt with life without her beloved husband. Throughout the four episodes we see her deal with Richard’s death (which I will never ever get over) and make huge lifestyle changes. Emily showed me that the dark days will make you a better, stronger and truer version of yourself.

Coffee makes everything better:

I am convinced that Gilmore Girls has strengthened my love for coffee. I can’t go a day without drinking a cup of jo. I turn into a little gremlin when I don’t have my daily dose. Lorelai guzzles up mug after mug of coffee, but I don’t think I’ve reached her level just yet. If only my local cafe offered free coffee refills like Luke’s Diner does.

Don’t let anyone stop you from pursuing your dream:

I will never ever be happy with Lane’s ending. She deserved so much better than the disappointing storyline she had in the revival episodes. Mrs Kim and her strict rules terrified me, so I’m not surprised Lane fled the nest when her mum stopped her from following her dreams. I felt so proud of Lane when she moved out of her family home and showed us that nobody should hold you back from doing what you love.

Hep Alein were EVERYTHING

Find your happy place:

Gilmore Girls always makes me feel warm because of the homey feel it gives off. Every character on the show seems to have their own happy place; a spot that makes them feel cosy and safe. For Luke it’s the diner that his dad owned. For Rory it’s the library. For Lane it’s behind the drums. For Suki it’s the kitchen. Gilmore Girls showed me that having that go-to place is essential especially on those dull, dreary days when the world is getting you down.

Your mum is your best friend for life:

Lorelai Gilmore is my spirit animal. I admire her passion, her spirit and her undying love for 80s pop culture (My heart bursts with joy whenever she mentions the Brat Pack.) Lorelai and Rory’s relationship is the thing I loved about the show the most. We all argue with our mums from time to time, whether that’s over forgetting to take the washing in when the rain is pouring down or over harsh words you regret saying in the heat of the moment.

The Gilmore girls certainly went through their fair share of ups and downs, but their bond always remained strong. The show reminded me of just how lucky I am to have a close relationship with my mam.

Oy with the poodles already!

We can all admit we’ve daydreamed about our dream proposal at some point in our lives. Everyone has their own idea of their perfect proposal whether it’s a simple, subtle proposal whilst strolling along the beach, or an elaborate affair on top of the Eiffel tower in Paris.

One Gilmore Girls fan’s wish came true when her boyfriend popped the question in none other than Stars Hollow.

The quaint fictional town is the sweetest location for a proposal. The small-town charm alone would leave your heart feeling so warm and mushy.

The newly engaged Molly Larimer gushed about the moment her partner Sebastian popped the question.

She posted a video of the special moment on Twitter and her beau picked the greatest spot in all of Stars Hollow to ask Molly to be his wife- the famous gazebo.

Molly opened up about the proposal on Twitter: “So I didn’t even mention it but Gilmore Girls has always been one of my favorite shows and Sebastian planned the perfect proposal and actually proposed in the actual Stars Hollow gazebo!”

She added: “I’m so lucky and so happy to spend forever with him #wbtourhollywood #GilmoreGirls”

There are so many iconic spots in Stars Hollow, like Luke’s Diner, the Dragonfly Inn, Taylor’s Olde Fashion Soda Shoppe and Kim’s Antiques, but there is no better place to ask the love of your life than that famous gazebo.

The gazebo was the place where some of the most heartfelt conversations took place in the show. And let’s not forget Lorelai and Luke’s famous picnic date from season two.

Huge congratulations to Molly and Sebastian. We hope your relationship lasts just as long as Richard and Emily's.

It's TOMORROW, Gilmore Girls fans. The day we've been waiting for all year is literally just a few hours away.

While we have sooo many questions (like, WHO will Rory end up with?), we have also set our eyes on a wedding dress inspired by the woman herself, Ms. R Gilmore.

Don't take it from us, take it from @martha_weddings : "You HAVE to see this wedding dress" #MeetRGilmore

Bridal designer, Floravere, has envisioned what Lorelai's daughter might walk down the aisle in (if she does), and we absolutely love it.

The embroidery is subtle but stunning, and the stream-lined design is definitely perfect for Rory to say 'I do' in.

Hell, we'd love to say 'I do' in it…

Floravere explains on their website: "The R.Gilmore honours the woman who embraces tradition, but adds her own personality and verve to it, who is beautiful and smart, witty and kind, independent and deeply rooted."

TOMORROW, people.

We are all eagerly awaiting the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life  revival, which is set to hit our computers in November.

And, after a very cryptic post on the Gilmore Girls official Instagram yesterday, fans are FREAKING out.

Lorelai and Luke

You all know the saying, 'an apple a day not only keeps the doctor away.'

Well, in Stars Hollow, an apple is also a strong indicator that Lorelai Gilmore could be with child.

In season five Lorelai, who is renowned for being gloriously unhealthy, thought she was pregnant with Luke's baby when she caught herself eating a red apple and enjoying it.

The post reads "pop-tart appetizers to hold us over 'till the pizza comes. And one apple," leading us all to wonder WHO is the apple for!

One fan commented on the post "Omgoshhhhh!!!! Does this mean Lorelai could be prego?!?!?!"

The significance of the apple is fairly unclear, but it seems strange to include the fruit in the shows marketing for no reason.

As our imaginations run wild with all of this information, we have begun to wonder which (if any) of the Gilmore women could be preggers.

Will Rory be getting a new brother or sister? OR is Lorelai set to be a grandmother?

Only time will tell, and we CAN'T WAIT to find out!

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life starts streaming on November 25th on Netflix.

*If you DON'T want to know anything about the Gilmore Girls revival then look away NOW*

The highly anticipated Gilmore Girls reunion series is coming in only a few months, and we all have a million and one questions we'd like answered.

But the question that's coming from left, right and centre is: Who does Rory end up with?

Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) and Logan (Matt Czuchry) have all confirmed that they're coming back for the revival, so honestly, it could be any one of them.

However, pulling the typical dad move, David Sutcliffe, who plays Rory's dad Chris, has spilled the beans and revealed which man she doesn't end up with.

*SPOLIERS AHEAD*

While on USA Today, David was asked which fictional boyfriend he thinks Rory should be with, and he replied with: "I'm not even sure where she's at, but I'm partial to, who's the first boyfriend?"

To which the presenter says, "Dean."

"Yes, Dean. I was going to say Jess, but I mean Dean. I know they're not going to end up together but, Rory and Dean seem like a good couple."

So, there you have it, ladies. She's NOT going to end up with Dean.

Now all bets are on for Jess and Logan (and we really can't choose).

Whether you are team Dean, team Jess or team Logan (is anyone really team Logan?), we just want to see as many of Rory's love interests make an appearance in the upcoming revival as possible.

Just a matter of weeks after it was confirmed that Matt Czuchry would be reprising the role of Logan in the Netflix reboot, Milo Ventimiglia dropped this bomb on us.

Yes, being firm members of team Jess, we can confirm he will be returning to Stars Hollow and it will be amazing.

Just because we can see no other ending for Rory other than with Jess, we would still love to see Jared Padalecki make a triumphant return as Dean, just for the inevitable ensuing drama obvs.

Three months back, Netflix closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited-series revival of Gilmore Girls written by series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino.

Additionally reports suggested that revival would consist of  90-minute episodes. Which is practically the length of a film. So really, we’re getting four Gilmore Girls films! Kind of, but it’s exciting to think of it that way.

But in a cool twist, the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino has revealed that the four parts will take place over a year, with each episode set during a different season.

A contract dispute with Warner Bros back in 2006 meant that Amy had to bow out of writing the show's final season, and so she never got to create the perfect ending for Lorelai and Rory.

Is it just us or is this reunion turning out to be the best thing ever?!

Gilmore Girls fans, check another character off your list as a fan-favorite has officially confirmed they are returning to the show.

Liza Weil will be BACK as Paris Geller in Netflix's four-episode revival, the actress revealed to E! News this weekend, telling the website, "It's happening!"

And it may be happening sooner than we thought as filming is already in full swing.

"I start on Tuesday, which I really feel like bodes well that I get to start on a Tuesday being that we used to be on a Tuesday," the excited star said. "Tuesday is my first day and I'm nervous!"

This comes with news this week that one of Rory's former love interests will grace our screens again.

We just can't wait for all the drama that is going to grace our screens in the reboot of Gilmore Girls.

Matt Czuchry, or Rory's rich boyfriend Logan Huntzberger as we know him, will join the rest of the star-studded cast for the Netflix revivial, TVLine reports.

Details on the new series are being kept on the DL, but show creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino previously said that she wants to get "as many of Rory's lovely men back as possible."

We're thinking Dean, Marty or Jess might make a comeback (hopefully).

We're kinda setting our sights high on this reunion, ladies. Is it still too late for Sookie to come back?

Gilmore Girls fans could be delighted to know that a film version of the hit show could be a possibility.

Actress, Lauren Graham who played Lorelai Gilmore on the show was on reddit discussing the release of her new book Someday, Someday, Maybe.

Fans of course were more interested to know what it was like to work on the noughties show.

Lauren said she loved working on the show and that she will always have a special bond with actress Alexis Bledel who played Lorelai’s daughter Rory on the show.

But when asked if there could be a Gilmore Girls film, Lauren said: “If a movie version could be as good as we’d all want it to be, I’d love to play that character again.”

But fans shouldn’t think about booking tickets just yet, as the actress said she doesn’t know if there would be a film but definitely wants to know what happened to Lorelai’s character.
