Unicorns, mermaids and other mythical creatures were having a major millennial moment.

Thanks to the magical trend, a number of amazing fairytale foodstuffs were invented, from unicorn cake pops to mermaid toast, but this latest discovery takes the biscuit.

NYC eatery Industry Kitchen is responsible for this candy floss-topped rainbow sprinkled frankenfood.

The amazing pizza, known as the Pop Candy Land Pizza, is the stuff on Instagram dreams.

Rather than being a traditional savoury pizza, this sweet treat is more of a confectionary-lovers dish.

The so-called pizza eschews the traditional tomato sauce and mozzarella base in favour of sweet cream cheese sauce and popping candy.

Cosmo food editor Danielle Tullo sought out the mythical pizza, and posted some amazing snaps of it to her social media.

'It's basically a giant sugar cookie covered in fluffy cotton candy," she captioned her Instagram.

Whether for dinner or dessert, we're still dying to get ourselves a slice…

Pizza flavour ice-cream is now a thing and we don't know how we feel about.

In theory, two of the greatest foods on the planet should combine to make the perfect dish, but we can't help be a tad sceptical about this slightly odd flavour fusion.

The guys and gals at Philadelphia's Little Baby's Ice Cream have decided to push the limits of dessert as we know it by creating a pizza flavoured ice cream complete with tomato, oregano, basil, salt and garlic.

What's more, although the customers can enjoy the treat in a traditional waffle cone, the shop actually recommends serving it with a slice of your favourite pizza.

Because hey, if you're going to do it, you might as well do it right.

This isn't the first time the Philadelphia ice-cream shop has baffled customers with their odd choice of flavours. They're also known for their Cricket Cake, which is exactly what it sounds like.

Other stars of this flavour freak-show include Cucumber Dill, Pepper Lavender and its ‘flagship oddball flavour’, Earl Grey Sriracha.

Unfortunately, you'll have to make a trip to the States if you want to sample these wonderfully weird creations, but tasty or not, Little Baby's Ice Cream just got added to our foodie bucket list.

LGBTQ Pride week is almost upon us, and to ring in the ultimate celebration of love, one Dublin venue is pulling out all the stops.

We love love, and we love pizza, and NoLita has just combined the two in a pretty spectacular way.

For one weekend only, NoLita on Georges Street, Dublin, will be creating their classic pizzas, but with a rainbow twist to represent Pride week.

The bar and restaurant have been showing off their brightly tinted pizza dough across social media, and it looks divine.

The marbled rainbow effect of the dye on the dough looks like the pizzas are set to be too pretty to eat.

Dublin LGBTQ Pride festival will take place from June 16 to June 24, with the parade taking place at 2pm on Saturday next week.

We can't wait to get a literal slice of the action with these sure-to-be Insta-worthy pizzas.

Pizza is probably one of our (if not the) favourite meals here in Shemazing HQ.

You just can't beat a delicious crisp base with gooey cheese and any topping you fancy. Mmm…

So, when we found out a pizza festival is heading to the UK, we were all ready to book our flights.

breakfast, color, cooking

Next month, Brum's Big Fat Pizza Festival is heading to Birmingham, and it sounds like an absolute delight.

Taking place on Saturday April 29, there will be pizza competitions, pizza game shows, pizza bingo and a pizza rave. We're not sure what a pizza rave entails, but we're sure up for it.

There will also be local artists, musicians and DJs to amuse you throughout the day. Oh, and there will be rum, gin and cocktail bars open so you can wash all the pizza down with a nice refreshing drink.

Tickets are only £7.50 (€8.65), and you can pre-order them here.

See you there?

Pizza has a special place in our hearts.

Celebrating, sad, hungover, whatever the occasion, pizza is there by our sides.

Buskers On The Ball clearly understands out deep seated love for the Italian dish, as the venue is giving away free pizza this evening.

The Temple Bar establishment is running a promotion all this week to show off their new kitchen, and they will be giving away free pizzas and fully loaded wedges.

To acquire this cornucopia of junk food delights, all you have to do is book a table by email for a group of five people, minimum, before this evening, simple.

Groups can book in from noon to 10pm tonight, so call up that gang you've been meaning to get together with.

Once you're finished your pizza pie, you can play a game of pool, table tennis or fuze ball.

We're loving this deal, after all, who wouldn't want free pizza?

While we all love pizza, we're not sure that we love the fast food enough to justify having it symbolise our engagement.

However, to each their own, and Domino's have released a limited edition Domino's pizza slice engagement ring, perfect for the pepperoni lover in your life.

The ring was available to win (for UK and Northern Ireland residents only, sadly) by competition only over Valentine's Day on the Domino's UK Facebook page.

“We’re constantly innovating to make our customers’ lives easier – and our new pizza engagement ring is the ultimate gift for someone planning to pop the question this February 14," a Domino's spokesperson told Scotsman Food and Drink.

The one-of-a-kind ring features a single pizza slice speckled with little diamond pepperoni on a gold band.

We're not sure how we'd feel if someone proposed to us with a pizza ring, but for any hard core Domino's lovers, it would work like a charm.

All this talk of pizza is making us pretty hungry….

With every year, comes at least four or five weddings you have to attend.

And even though they're great craic, it can be a bit stressful too. What to wear? How to travel to and from? What present to get the newlyweds?

Well, Domino's has just answered the latter part of your prayers.

Yes, Domino's.

The fast food giant has legit launched a wedding registry… because, pizza is always the better option, right?

Any cheese-lovin', pizza-poppin' couple would adore this and it actually has some pretty sweet wedding-deals.

You can either sponsor the hen party for around 60 quid, give the men a '2am Bachelor Party Feast' or treat the newly-married couple to a 'Post-Honeymoon Adjustment To Real Life' pizza.

We'd say many married couples would prefer this as a present opposed to… well, silverware.

As you've probably guessed before, we're obsessed with pizza.

From finding out the 'right' way to eat pizza, to it being used in cosmetics (yep), we've covered it all.

But, then comes the pizza that costs €1930. At nearly two grand, you'd think it would be the most exquisite pizza in the world… and it is, but would we eat it? Probably not.

Industry Kitchen in New York has created this deluxe pie which includes 24-karat gold leaves.

It comprises of stilton cheese from the UK, foie gras and truffles from France, caviar from the Caspian Sea and gold leaves from Ecuador.

Executive chef Braulio Bunay said that he wanted to create the pizza to attract wealthy people.

He told T&C: "It is the epitome of decadence. The pizza is extremely rich—if you're in the mood for a lavish meal, this is the pizza for you."

We have a feeling that even though it's sprinkled with decadent ingredients, we wouldn't give up our pepperoni and cheese.

When it comes to the food of kings, we reckon that pizza, and Christmas dinner with all the trimmings are right up there among the very best.

And now, praise the taste gods, Milanos has decided to combine both to create what ultimately amounts to a Christmas roast on a pizza.

Dubbed the fancy-pants Porchetta Natale Romana, it boasts pulled hog roast along with a soft herb stuffing, pancetta, mozzarella, rosemary, oregano and pine kernels, and fresh parsley and costs €16.90.

If that's not your cup of tea, the Pannetone Cheesecake (€6.85) – chocolate chip and orange marmalade panettone pieces in a creamy vanilla cheesecake, topped on a thick and buttery biscuit base – might be.

Otherwise, Snowball Dough Balls (€4.45) are a safe bet: Milano’s famous Dough Balls sprinkled with icing sugar and cinnamon and served with a vanilla cream dip.

This is SO gross, we just can't wrap our heads around it.

A beauty editor from Seventeen has decided to use pizza grease as a make-up remover, and even though she believes it's "a life-changing discovery," it has turned us off our favourite thing on earth – pizza.

Now, don't get us wrong, as you probably know we have some major pizza-lovin' here in Shemazing! HQ, and if it was healthy enough, we'd eat it every day of the week.

But #FACT, most pizzas are not healthy, and are indeed, greasy, gloopy messes. So, imagine putting that on your skin?!

Kelsey Stegman made the discovery when she was wearing a Wet'n'Wild matte lipstick, which is basically concrete for your lips.

We'll admit that it did remove the make-up quite swiftly, but there's no hope we'd use it on a day to day basis… or at all, really.

We're firm lovers of pizza (as you probably know) here in Shemazing HQ, so we're a little bit sceptic about KFC's latest offering.

The fried chicken chain has added Chicken Fried Pizza to its menu and we have to say we're giving it some proper side eye.

The Chizza, as it's called, is a piece of fried chicken smothered in pizza toppings.

Looking at the ads, there's only one version available which has tomato sauce, pepperoni, cheese, green peppers and pineapple on it.

According to Rocket News 24, it's going to debut in Japan in November and if all goes well, will be added to menus all around the world.

Pizza is perfect. Southern fried chicken (with gravy) is perfect. Why can't they just remain separate?!
