Happy April Fools Day everyone. And by 'happy,' we of course mean 'a bit stressful,' as you try to wade through all the potentially false stories on your Twitter feed today.

Here are a few of the ones that nearly got us (we said nearly, people)…

1. Professor Green is changing his name

2. Woman's Way is getting a sister (brother?) publication

3. As is Loose Women

4. Tom Fletcher's toddler son Buzz is set to be a rock n' roll superstar

5. Lyons' Tea and HB are teaming up

*vomits*

6. Four Star Pizza are training in new "semi-feral" pizza delivery horses

7. The Aran Islands are getting a new addition

8. H&M's new collaboration is a change from Balmain

And it only includes Mark's signature grey t-shits and jeans:

9. 'Starting tonight, nightclubbers will be able to tuck into a Smokey Bacon Burger without ever leaving the dance floor…'

And a special mention has to go to #10, Google's Mic Drop feature, which caused something of a catastrophe on Gmail this morning.

The best way to anger Gmal users? Add a second "send" button that automatically sends a Mic Drop GIF to whoever you're emailing, and then MUTES the conversation so you don't receive any replies.

Honestly Google, what were you thinking?

Hopefully we're done with all of this madness until next year.

While we love shopping (loveeee), we can't help but get all flustered every time we go to pay for something.

You either can't find your purse, or your money falls out, or your bank card won't work… it can be super annoying.

But that's where Google's new app comes in. In a world of technology, it seems that we don't need cash anymore, right? All we need is an app.

The Hands Free app is debuting in San Francisco today and it sounds pretty damn good.

"Once you’ve installed and set up the app, Hands Free uses Bluetooth low energy, Wi-Fi, and location services on your phone to detect whether you’re near a participating store. When you’re ready to pay, you can simply tell the cashier, “I’ll pay with Google.” The cashier will ask for your initials and use the picture you added to your Hands Free profile to confirm your identity," said the website.

While it'll only be available in America for the moment, it'll probably hit our shores pretty soon – so we can all say goodbye to our bank balance.

People all over the Ireland and the UK are celebrating their canine pals on Twitter today in honour of #WoofWoofWednesday, but Google decided to take things one step further.

If you follow @GoogleUK  on Twitter, you may have noticed a few strange-looking tweets this morning. Well, that's because they were typed by Doogler, the office's resident Golden Retriever.

There he is, typing away like any good Social Media Manager:

First tweet! Complete with dog selfie:

Things soon took a turn for the chaotic, though:

Unfortunately poor Doogler's creative flow was stifled when the (human) bigwigs realised that his tweets didn't make a whole pile of sense, really.

Aaaw, we were just getting used to him.

It doesn't look like easy days are ahead for Irish airline Ryanair and tech giant Google.

Ryanair announced that they are taking legal action against the Internet firm as well as their sister online travel website eDreams, accusing them of misleading customers to wrong prices and not offering the best deal.

“We’re launching legal proceedings in the Irish High Court with Google and eDreams,” airline boss Michael O’Leary said at a London press conference.

He also revealed that he and his company started legal proceedings yesterday.

Michael said Google was not providing correct Ryanair prices and also claimed that eDreams was making-up websites which included the word “Ryanair” to mislead its customers.

“It’s the deception we have a problem with, not the advertising,” said Mr O’Leary.

If talking to your friends to tell them you're free to do something is too much effort, there's now an app for it.

Google's new Who's Down app allows users to notify others when they're free to hang out and socialise. All you need to do is toggle the list and it will tell you the users that are available at any given time.

The toggle lasts for three hours and can be manually switched on or off if your plans happen to change.

Users can also mention what they're up for, whether it's coffee, some shopping or just some chill time, but there's also a list of activities you can choose from like grabbing lunch or watching a movie.

The app also notifies your friends that are in the mood to do something similar, and once enough people want to do the same thing, it automatically opens a group chat so you can organise your plans.

But the conversations only last for 24-hours, so once the messaging stops, there's no need for anymore pesky notifications.

The new app is available on both iPhone and Android and uses an invite system to gain more users.

This new app is practically the burn book of 2015.

Imagine you're going on a first date. You Yelp the restaurant to make sure the food is actually edible, and then you Google the person (naturally) just to make sure you're going to be in the company of someone decent.

Well, now these two harmless Internet searches are coming together in a new app called Peeple.

The app will allow users to rate and search other human beings. It's Yelp for people, and it's coming in November.

When the app launches, users will be able to review their friends, family, co-workers and romantic partners, using a one to five star rating.

Sounds a bit scary right?!

Co-founders Julia Cordray and Nicole McCullough insist that the app exists only to promote good feelings among people – but we think it might do just the opposite.

"As two empathetic female entrepreneurs in the tech space, we want to spread love and positivity," Julia told The Washington Post

"We want to operate with thoughtfulness."

In order to rate somebody, you need to connect to the app through Facebook using your real name, and you have to be over 21-years-old.

But the next bit doesn't seem very fair.

If the person you want to rate isn't using the app, you are able to create a profile for them with their phone number; they will then be notified via text that they have been added to Peeple BUT they won't have an option to remove their profile from the app.

So, even if you're not using Peeple, everyone else will be able to access your ratings and see what others have to say about you.

“People do so much research when they buy a car or make those kinds of decisions,” Julia said to The Washington Post.

“Why not do the same kind of research on other aspects of your life?”

Em.. we're still not too sure about this one!

It has happened us all. The heart-stopping, adrenaline-pinching terror that rises inside us after pushing the fateful ‘send’ button.

Whether it’s a wrong email to your mum, your boss, or the dreaded entire address book, the fear that envelopes us is like no other.

But now, our saviour is here!

The lovely folks over at Gmail have included a new ‘undo send’ function to our email settings.

The new fear-quenching feature can be activated from your ‘general settings’ tab and you can choose between giving yourself 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds to realise your mistake and un-send the email.

After your email is sent, the ‘undo send’ button will appear at the top your screen, accompanied by the lapsing amount of time that you have given yourself to recall the email. While the feature has yet to be installed on the mobile app, according to reports this is the next step for the tech giants.

At least that’s our co-workers taken care of. Now all we need is an ‘un-text your ex’ feature…

We are all familiar with Doctor Google – our attempt to diagnose our headaches for free which inevitably tells us we have terminal brain cancer.

Now however Google are trying to give access to real medical advice. The feature is part of their Helpouts feature, a video service which connects you to experts who can help with problems or teach new skills.

Now when you Google a symptom, the site will offer to connect you to a trained medical professional through your webcam.

A Google spokesperson explained the new move.

“When you're searching for basic health information — from conditions like insomnia or food poisoning — our goal is provide you with the most helpful information available. We're trying this new feature to see if it's useful to people.”

It could be a great resource for people who don’t have the time or money to get to a doctor in person for every little worry!

Harry Styles has revealed that he loves nothing more than to Google himself!

While most celebrities dread to read the things that the internet has to say about them, Harry embraces it.

The singer told Very magazine: “I’ve done it once. It was good though.”

Just once, eh Harry? The One Directioner then went on to say that he often Googles the band in general, saying: “I Google [One Direction]. If there’s been something in a paper. I’ll Google it to look at it online.”

Hmm, we’re not sure that’s a very healthy habit, Harry! Although, given that it is Harry, we reckon there is much more positive press than negative out there!
