News hit yesterday that the iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, the prolific creative director of Chanel and formerly Fendi, had passed away aged 85.

Tributes poured in from celebrities and members of the fashion industry alike, but the question on everyone's lips was; "What will become of his beloved pet cat, Choupette?"

Last year, the eccentric and controversial designer said that his cat would be one of the heirs to his $200 million fortune.

A statement from The House of Karl Lagerfeld confirmed his death, having died in a Parisian hospital after being admitted on Monday night, according to French news site Pure People.

While the cause of death is not yet known, French newspaper Le Figaro reported that Lagerfeld had been "weak for many weeks."

He was juggling work as the creative director of Chanel, Fendi and his own brand, Karl Lagerfeld at the time of his death, but last April he told Numéro that he'd had "every test under the sun and they can't find anything wrong,"

He went into great detail about what he would want for his funeral, and who would inherit his fortune, which was reported to be around $200 million when he died (€170,000)

"There will be no burial. I'd rather die," Lagerfeld said of his funeral. "I've asked to be cremated and for my ashes to dispersed with those of my mother … and those of Choupette, if she dies before me."

He was asked whether Choupette would inherit his fortune, and he answered; "Among others, yes. Don't worry, there is enough for everyone."

He told CNN back in 2013 that: "There is no marriage, yet, for human beings and animals … I never thought I would fall in love like this with a cat."

Choupette had an entire fashion collection dedicated and created for her, called Choupette in Love. Her eyes were even the inspiration for a Chanel haute couture collection, the dazzling blue having enraptured Lagerfeld.

A book titled Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Cat was published in 2014, and she apparently earns $4 million a year after appearing in ad campaigns for Shu Uemura and German car company Vauxhall.

Lagerfeld once told Harper's Bazaar that Choupette had two maids, was cared for by his driver, and ate and drank out of dishes made by Goyard, a Parisian luxury goods maker best known for its handbags.

"She has one for water, one for her little croquette, and one for her pâté," he said in 2012, also mentioning that two maids monitored her day, including "two daily brushings." He also told Numéro that Choupette dined with him.

"Now she's an adult she dines with me. She sits opposite me and eats what she has to eat. Before she might have attacked any old prawn, but now she will only touch the four different dishes prepared for her on that day, served in fabulous bowls."

No one knows yet who will take care of Choupette now that her dad has passed on, but she's sure to be pampered for the rest of her days.

We all know (and not-so-secretly) love Kris Jenner.

The devil works hard, but this woman works harder and makes ALL OF HER KIDS multi-millionaires, as well as getting nine grandkids in 10 years.

As it turns out, it has been revealed that Kris Jenner gets a whopping 10% of EVERYTHING her kids make, which amounts to a ridiculous amount altogether.

The woman is a cultural icon, who has not only birthed five children, but gave them the Midas touch and also gave birth to MEMES galore.

Kim Kardashian alone is worth $350 million and make-up mogul Kylie Jenner is worth $900 million, which means that Kris owns at least $125 million. We’re shook.

Remember that quote from Kim’s former sex tape scandal? “As a mother I wanted to kill her. But as a manager….*wink*” I MEAN, COME ON.

It takes skill to turn every controversy and scandal into exploitation, and then rake in the cash as a result. Give her credit where it’s due.

According to ForbesMother Jenner got “paid an estimated $17 million by her daughter in the past year” due to the giant which is Kylie Cosmetics.

Kylie named one of her eyeshadow shades 10% as a nod to the slice which Kris gains from her daughter’s business, which is pure gas.

We’ve been Keeping Up With The Kardashians since 2007, and E! network agreed to an $80 million deal in 2015 and another deal in 2017 for America’s first reality TV family.

The hilarious momager went on The Ellen Show, and claims that;

“Everybody gets paid pretty much equally, ’cause we all film a lot and we all work hard, and we’ve created this show and this brand for the last decade…Everybody’s happy.”

Kris takes home a cool $15 million from the show, so we think she’s doing pretty damn well.

Slay, bish, you’re a gifted woman.

If you have ever wondered about the net worth of celebrities there is tonnes of information here that will surprise you. Who’d have thought that Gigi Hadid was worth that much?

Rupert Grint has spoken about his net worth, and it's fair to say we're more than a bit jealous.

The former Ron Weasley was interviewed by The Radio Timesand his funds happened to come up in the conversation.

Naturally, everyone has something to say about it, seeing as his worth in 2016 was estimated to be a whopping €50 million, less than half of Daniel Radcliffe's estimated worth.

He told the publication that he tries not to pay much attention to his financial needs, but says he is "comfortable". Well for some isn't it?

Figures seem to go way over his head, based on these quotes;

"I actually don't know how much I have. I couldn't even really guess."

"It doesn't really motivate me too much. It makes you comfortable, that's the good thing about it, I think. I'm glad it's there but I'm not really that focused on it."

We'd be running around Brown Thomas spending an absolute fortune on nonsensical items which we totally don't need… but each to their own, I guess?

The actor has taken on roles since Harry Potter wrapped up in 2011, starring in Sick Note on Sky One, and the Snatch reboot.

He will also star in The BBC production of Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders alongside John Malkovich as Hercule Poirot.

Mr Weasley's down-to-earth spending habits appear to parallel with Harry and Hermione's.

Daniel Radcliffe told the Belfast Telegraph back in 2016 that he pretty much leaves his $100 million fortune alone.

"I'm very grateful for it, because having money means you don't have to worry about it, which is a very lovely freedom to have. It also gives me immense freedom, career-wise," he said.

Grint also spoke about his struggle with the Harry Potter phenomenon's fame; "Sometimes you just want to go to B&Q." Do you, though? It's fairly grim.

The first thing he did in 2011 after hanging up his cloak and wand was get his tonsils removed;

"It was too much recovery time and there was the fear that it would change my voice."

Well Rupert, no one can say that you're not a normal lad. Too normal, in fact.

In a gesture which has left most of us slackjawed this morning – updated reports confirm we were right to be slackjawed –  the founder of Corona beer has made a millionaire of each and every resident of his small home town in north west Spain.

Antonino Fernández, who passed away at the age of 98 last August, bequeathed a staggering £169 million to the people of Cerezales del Condado.

And as the tiny villages boasts only 80 residents, that's a cool £2 million each.

Clearly flabbergasted by the businessman's gesture, Maximino Sanchez, the owner of a small bar in Antonino's hometown said: "We never had any money before. I don’t know, what we would have done without Antonino."

Antonino, one of 13 children, moved to Mexico in 1949 at the age of 32 where he worked for Grupo Modelo brewery – and ultimately helped to make Corona one of the most popular beers in the world.

Antonino, we salute you.
