A brand new Winterval Illuminates Lightshow has been designed and it is set to ensure that viewers enjoy an enchanting evening spectacle showcasing a captivating dance of light that illuminates the darkness, creating a symphony of beauty, wonder and joy.

A magical evening with family and friends is in store as the very special Winterval Illuminates Lightshow is set to light up the festive season in Ireland’s Christmas Capital – Waterford.

The new show designed for the 2023 incredible Winterval Illuminates features a magical array of animation sitting amidst a backdrop depicting the City’s skyline which features some of Ireland’s oldest buildings and of course, some friendly Vikings. The animated show is designed to tell a tale that rises and falls in time to the variety of festive melodies and even some rocking beats. The 15-minute show will culminate in a mini Snow Disco as the snow machines come to life ensuring a blanket of snowy fun for all the little ones.

The 2023 Winterval Illuminates Lightshow is sponsored by Bausch + Lomb and it will be on offer for free every half hour at Arundel Square in Waterford City, all part of the annual Winterval Festival. The light show will be projected onto a stunning 9m high tower and will come to life at nightfall with an explosion of light, sound, special effects and of course the projection show. This feast for all the senses promises to be an event not to be missed for audiences of all ages, and it’s free!

In addition, a free Snow Disco for children will be on offer each weekend at the Winterval Main Stage on Gladstone Street. Highlights include performances from choirs, fun children's Christmas discos, shadow puppetry shows by Ben Hennessey, and an array of live musicians.

The Winterval festival will officially begin on November 17th at 5 pm with a gigantic Christmas Parade rolling through Waterford city on a 1km route from its Quayside to the top of John Robert’s Square. The parade will see the arrival of Santa Claus in a special and spectacular way where he will travel to the festival’s main stage for the switching on the City’s Christmas lights, marking the beginning of festivities in Ireland’s oldest City.

The Winterval Festival will take place until December 23rd with plenty to see and do for everyone in the family from the ice rink on the city’s Quayside to the vintage Ferris wheel at Arundel Square, a vintage carousel in John Robert’s Square, the Port of Waterford Eye and the Winterval mini Express train, the Elf workshops, Polish Christmas, a Gerbola Christmas Circus, Santa’s VR sleigh ride, helter-skelter, helicopter trips with Santa, a fantastical ‘Adventure of Narnia’ show which will be hosted at a mini Big Top in the heart of the City at Jenkin’s Lane and more. Santa will be taking centre stage at the festival in the city's heart on Broad Street. He will be ensconced in his candy-filled Gingerbread House in the city centre for Winterval.

The free events on the programme include a gigantic and magical talking postbox, a GLOW garden and a brand new sensory wall, a Viking Elf trail hunt, a Viking Yule Village by Deise Medieval, storytelling sessions, a free music stage, a model circus and fairground exhibition and lots more.

Chloe Madeley has revealed where she stands following her split from her husband James Haskell.

After several days of rumours, the former couple confirmed last month that they were no longer together. Their split came just two months after they celebrated the first birthday of their daughter Bodhi.

Now, a few weeks on from announcing the end of her marriage, Chloe has opened up and detailed how she is feeling about the future.

Yesterday, the 36-year-old – who is the daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan – took to her Instagram stories and hosted a Q&A.

During the session, one of Chloe’s 293K followers asked her if she hopes to have more children in the future.

“Yea I have a big family and I want to keep it that way!” she exclaimed in response, teasing her hope for siblings for daughter Bodhi.

The personal trainer then went on to hint that her split from former rugby player James was “pivotal” to ensuring their only child’s happiness, as she was asked what she has learned since becoming a mum.

“That my happiness is pivotal to her happiness and vice versa,” she penned.

Lastly, Chloe was quizzed on whether she is looking forward to dating again.

“I want to be and I will continue to be surrounded by females for the foreseeable,” the mum-of-one teased in her reply, followed by a cry-laughing emoji.

On October 28, Chloe and James confirmed in a joint statement that they were no longer together.

“Chloe and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September, 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand,” they wrote at the time.

On her own account, Chloe added: “Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

Congratulations are in order for Jana Kramer and her fiancé Allan Russell as they have welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world together. 

Jana is already mum to seven-year-old Jolie and four-year-old Jace, whom she shares with her ex-husband Mike Caussin, but this new arrival is her and Allan’s first child together.

She captioned the sweet post, “Welcome to the world sweet Roman James Russell. Blessed beyond measure for this little miracle. 11.13.2023. 6lbs 1oz”.

The Bachelor's Ashley Iaconetti added, “So cute!!! Congratulations!!!”.

Kramer also shared more of an insight into her son’s birth and the meaning behind his name with People as she revealed, “Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell”.

“We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together”.

At the beginning of November, Jana shared her excitement that it was finally the month her baby would arrive in. The former 90210 star previously announced that her son was due on December 2, but explained that she had to move her C-section forward.

She penned, “November. I can’t believe THE month is already here. Feels like it was just end of march when we found out about and now the big month is finally here”.

“(Because I know I’ll get comments about why this month and not on due date which is 12.2….because of growing fibroid we are doing c section earlier)”.

Courteney Cox has broken her silence on the death of Matthew Perry. 

The Friends star, best known for his role as Chandler Bing, was found dead at his Los Angeles home on October 28 at the age of 54.

Now, almost three weeks on from his passing, his Friends co-stars have begun to pay tribute to him.

Courteney Cox, who played Matthew’s on-screen wife Monica Geller, took to Instagram last night to re-share one of the show’s most iconic scenes.

“I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day,” Courteney began in her tribute.

“When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now here’s one of my favorites,” the 59-year-old continued. 

“To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night fling in London. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story,” she explained.

“Though we didn’t know him personally, it felt like he was a friend to us all,” one viewer penned.

Matt, known for his role as Joey Tribbiani, continued: “It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.”

The Love Is Blind family is growing!

Giannina Gibelli has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with her partner, Bachelor Nation star Blake Horstmann.

Giannina, who featured in the first season of the hit Netflix reality show, took to Instagram last night with Blake to share the news.

Revealing their baby joy, the expectant parents chose to post several photos from a recent pregnancy photoshoot. The sweet snaps showcase Giannina and Blake unveiling the 30-year-old’s growing baby bump.

“first comes love, then comes baby H,” the pair teased in their joint caption.

“we’re so grateful that life has led us here and over the moon to be parents to our sweet baby come spring 2024!” they added.

Following the surprise news, many of Giannina’s fellow Love Is Blind alumni have since taken to the comments section of her post to congratulate her.

“Why did this make me tear up! Soo happy for you both,” replied Deepti Vempati, who appeared in the show’s second season.

“Best news ever!! You’re going to be the perfect Mama, G,” wrote Giannina’s fellow season 1 star Jessica Batten, who also recently welcomed her first child.

“Omg!! Congratulations!!” added Tiffany Pennywell Brown, who tied the knot with husband Brett Brown in season four.

Viewers first met Giannina in the first season of Love Is Blind in February 2020. At the time, she got engaged to fellow co-star Damian Powers. 

The pair made it all the way to the altar, but Giannina ended up leaving the ceremony in tears after Damian refused to marry her.

The exes continued their on-again-off-again romance after filming for the series ended. Giannina later confirmed in August 2021 that they had split for good.

The mum-to-be then went on to meet boyfriend Blake during filming for reality show All Star Shore. In early 2022, it was revealed that they were dating.

"We didn't win the grand prize, but we found each other,” Giannina later gushed on Instagram in September of that year.

According to research** conducted by Just Eat earlier in the year, on average consumers order a takeaway 2.9 times per month, spending an average of €46.49 on their favourite cuisines. Ordering food is mostly a shared experience, with 54% of restaurant partners saying orders are for at least two people, while 37% say the average takeaway order is for a family.

Kim Kardashian has been opening up about her divorce. 

Kim filed for divorce from her ex-husband Kanye West in 2021 after tying the knot in 2014. They share four children together- 10-year-old North, seven-year-old Saint, five-year-old Chicago and four-year-old Psalm.

Now, two years on from the divorce, Kim has revealed how her own parents’ divorce helped her navigate her and Kanye’s separation. 

Kim’s parents, Kris Jenner and the late lawyer Robert Kardashian, were married for 13 years and had 44-year-old Kourtney, 43-year-old Kim, 39-year-old Khloe and 36-year-old Robert Jr together before their split in 1991.

While speaking with GQ, Kim reflected on when her parents were going their separate ways. 

“I didn’t foresee any of it. I was in the bath and they called a family meeting. I remember thinking, Please, Lord, don’t let them be getting a divorce”.

“I never had an inkling that it would happen, but I knew that was what they were going to tell us. I felt it”.

Revealing that she thinks back to how her parent’s handled their divorce when her children have questions about her and Kayne’s split, Kim admitted, “I did think about how my parents handled it with us. I just remember them being open”.

“Ultimately, what matters is that kids feel loved and heard. You want to be sensitive because they’re just kids, and it’s hard to go through no matter what age”. 

“You have to make sure that you only go to a level that they can understand. It’s okay to show a vulnerable side. You never go to a negative side”.

The Skims CEO went on to add, “Just because I know how to manage my stress well doesn’t mean that I don’t feel the emotions. If I’m sad, of course I will cry and feel it”.

Kim then explained that she saw a therapist before her divorce, but now only uses one to help with parenting. “I tried a little bit before my marriage ended”.

“I do have a therapist that only deals in child psychology that I talk to to get parenting tips and advice. Sometimes I feel challenged by parenting”.

Josie Gibson is preparing to head to the I’m a Celeb jungle. 

The This Morning star was confirmed to be taking part in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here last night and has now broken her silence on joining the cast. 

As she prepared to travel to Australia, Josie revealed she had to say an ‘emotional goodbye’ to her five-year-old son, Reggie, after sending a video of herself to the This Morning team. 

In the clip, where the mum-of-one can be seen in the back of a car, Josie explained, “The rumours are true, I am heading to the jungle. I have just arrived at Heathrow airport now”.

As she appeared to start tearing-up, Josie continued, “I have said an emotional goodbye to Reggie and I keep thinking to myself, ‘What have I done? What have I signed up for?’. I’m just hoping that I’m a survivor”.

The This Morning social media team shared the footage to Instagram and wrote, “Ahead of arriving in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Josie sent us this special video message. We’re all rooting for you Josie!”.

After announcing that she’d be taking part in I’m a Celeb, Josie took to Instagram to tell her 479K followers, “Not the kind of weight loss retreat I was looking for.. unconventional diet [bug emojis]”.

“So excited the news is finally out – I’m heading in to the jungle! Tune into @itv from this Sunday 19th wish me luck!”.

Joining Josie in the jungle is JLS popstar Marvin Humes, politician Nigel Farage, former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, and former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson. 

Also taking part in the show is Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears, First Dates maître d' Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard and Masterchef food critic Grace Dent.

I’m a Celeb will be back on our screens on Sunday, November 19 on ITV1.

Emeli Sandé has admitted that her plans to tie the knot have come to a halt.

In September of last year, the Read All About It singer announced that she was now engaged to her girlfriend, classical pianist Yoana Karemova.

In an interview with Metro.co.uk, the 36-year-old was asked about any plans for her upcoming nuptials, which she then took the opportunity to clarify.

“We’ve kind of put them on hold until I get this album out and we do the shows this year, but we’ll probably start planning next year,” Emeli hoped.

“Cos Of You was written before we met and I was imagining this feeling and when I finally met Yoana, that was the feeling I got. It’s lovely that it’s kind of predicted the future in a way,” she explained.

“She really loves the album and she’s my biggest supporter. When she’s happy I’m happy,” Emeli gushed further.

Marvin Humes has posted a goodbye video before going to the jungle!

Earlier today, the JLS singer landed in Brisbane Airport, ahead of his entrance into the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp. Marvin’s inclusion in the upcoming series lineup was confirmed last night, along with nine other celebrities.

Before viewers get to witness the start of his jungle journey on Sunday night, the 38-year-old has shared one final goodbye to his fans and loved ones.

Taking to Instagram earlier today, Marvin’s wife Rochelle Humes and his close friend Promise shared a video on Marvin’s behalf, which was filmed the night before he left for Australia.

“Finally, the news is out! I’m going into the jungle. I’m currently shooting this video on Sunday. Finished the JLS tour last night, which was incredible,” the Everybody In Love hitmaker praised to the camera.

“Today, just literally spent the whole day with the family, making the most of the last few hours I’ve got with them, because I’m not going to have contact with them for four weeks from tomorrow, which is going to be super, super tough,” he admitted, in reference to the three kids he shares with wife Rochelle – Alaia-Mai (10), Valentina (6) and Blake (3).

“Super excited, super nervous, but it’s going to be a challenge and I’m up for it. It’s the one show that I’ve always said if I was asked to do it, I’d want to do it, and that’s what has happened this year. The first time they’ve asked me, and the timing has actually worked out very, very well,” Marvin exclaimed.

Charlotte Crosby has admitted that she experienced prenatal depression last year.

In October 2022, the former Geordie Shore star welcomed her first child into the world with her now-fiancé Jake Ankers.

Although she is now loving being a mum to one-year-old daughter Alba Jean, Charlotte has since confessed that she briefly struggled with her mental health ahead of becoming a mum.

In an interview on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, the 33-year-old opened up about how it badly affected her at one point during her pregnancy.

“I got a bit of prenatal depression, it was awful. It was only two weeks, but it was two weeks of feeling like I could not get out of bed,” she recalled.

“There was a dark cloud hanging over my head. It wasn't that I didn't want the baby. It was just… I felt so low,” Charlotte continued.

The reality star, who announced her engagement to partner Jake earlier this month, went on to note that she even struggled to speak to him.

“I didn’t have any deep or dark thoughts, I just couldn’t muster up a conversation with Jake. I didn’t want to go out anywhere, I didn’t want to do anything. I just was flat,” she explained, concluding: “It's indescribable, when you go through something like that.”

Later in her interview, Charlotte detailed how her struggles with her mental health during pregnancy have not discouraged her from wanting more children in the future.

Upon remembering the moment that she discovered that she would be welcoming a daughter, Charlotte gushed that it was “the best, because I only wanted a girl.”

“I still only want another girl. I’ll have a boy, but maybe the third baby,” she teased further, adding: “Boys are more loving, but boys are crazy when they’re little!”
