Vicky Pattison has been brought to tears as she shares an update on her fertility journey.

The former Geordie Shore star first revealed she was starting the process of freezing her eggs at the end of last year, but due to finding a cyst on her ovary at the beginning of 2023, had to put the process on hold.

Now, Vicky has gotten emotional as she shares good news with her 5.3M Instagram followers.

The 35-year-old posted a collection of photos of herself including a snap of her smiling through tears and at a fertility clinic.

Pattison explained the next step in her journey to starting a family with her fiancé Ercan Ramadan in the caption of the post.

She wrote, “Today we got some good news…For those of you who've been following my egg freezing journey, you'll know that at the start of the year we had a bit of a set back in the form of an ovarian cyst. Meaning we couldn't move forward with the process until it was gone”.

“And then, at today's scan we found out that the cyst had gone and we are finally able to take our next steps to becoming parents one day”.

“I've been feeling absolutely every single emotion over the last couple of days and as you can imagine when I got the good news I was completely over the moon but now all the nerves and anxiety that I was running on have left my body… I'm just knackered”.

Vicky went on to explain she won’t be sharing many other details from the day. “So I'm not going to say too much else- I'm just going to curl up on the sofa with @ercan_ram and the lads and watch a nice film”.

“We're literally starting straight away and I'll do my best to be as honest and open as I can be with you all- but please bear with me- I don't know how this next couple of weeks will affect me and at times I might find it all abit overwhelming”.

The former reality TV star continued, “I just wanted to put this post up, as I've had so many lovely messages and I didn't want anyone to mistake my silence for bad news. We are happy, grateful and a little bit apprehensive but ultimately really excited to take these next steps towards growing our family together”.

“Sending you all loads of love. And to anyone else who isn't quite where they thought they'd be with their fertility journey I just wanted to send you love, light and positivity”.

She closed off by adding, “So proud of my little ovaries I could have burst. But instead I just cried in the toilet and filled my wee tube”.

Many famous faces headed to the comments of Vicky’s post to send supportive messages her way. Former TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou penned, “So happy for you”. “Awww amazing news”, added presenter Lisa Snowden.

Love Island star Alex George said, “Always wishing you well and sending love, amazing human”.

We finally have the official start date for I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here: South Africa!

After much anticipation and speculation, ITV have confirmed that the all-stars series will start later this month on Monday, April 24.

The series has already been filmed in the depths of the South African jungle, and will play out each weeknight for three weeks.

Viewers will delight in being reunited with some of their favourite campmates from throughout the last 20 years of the Australian series, which was first broadcast in September 2002.

American model Janice Dickinson, retired athlete Fatima Whitbread, Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan and TV presenter Carol Vorderman have all been confirmed as this series’ campmates.

A few other former campmates will be heading into camp once more, including the likes of Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder, boxer Amir Khan, Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo and cricket legend Phil Tufnell.

However, it is rumoured that three more surprise campmates will also be joining the South African camp, to complete the usual number of 12 contestants. If the show follows the tradition of the Australian series, these celebrities will be revealed during the course of the episodes.

As there will be no public vote to decide the winner of this bonus series, the celebrities will have to battle it out to be the last one standing. The victorious celeb will then be crowned the very first I’m A Celebrity Legend.

During an appearance on chat show Lorraine last year, Geordie duo Ant & Dec teased the exciting series and noted its differences to the usual Australian jungle format.

"It's slightly different to the show we do in Australia because they go head to head in trials and whoever loses leaves. It’s quite brutal, so that’s how we decided the winner,” Ant explained at the time.

"We’ve done it, we’ve shot it and it’s really, really good,” Dec exclaimed in agreement.

We can’t wait to see it!

Looking and feeling good shouldn’t have to come at a big cost, so the focus has been creating an assortment of versatile key-pieces and wardrobe essentials in stylish prints and silhouettes. F&F has invested in quality materials across affordable pieces that are fail-safe and exist beyond seasonal trends.

Trend 1: Zest

This trend champions optimism through a candy sweet palette, embracing a relaxed look for modern tailoring and elevated basics. F&F at Tesco is serving up seventies inspired style through layering jersey and denim into soft tailored looks, crafted with longevity in mind.

Silhouettes

Wide leg jeans (€29) make a return in utility styles, whilst tailored blazer and trouser combos effortlessly sit alongside casual, ribbed jersey tees. Sweatshirts and t-shirts are prominent in oversized shapes, becoming cross-trend staples that can be dressed up and down for every occasion. Trend 2: Refined Nomad

This trend serves clean and minimal styles with a nod to utility and feeds a renewed interest in smarter dressing. Moving towards the summer solstice, F&F at Tesco is lifting spirits with chic shades of cinnamon and hot orange. Timeless shirt and short co-ords and separates are ideal for when the warmer season hits and staying cool and comfortable becomes the number one priority.

Teachers have voted in favour of going on strike once more, if hundreds of assistant principal jobs are not reinstated.

The unanimous vote was cast earlier today on the second day of the Teachers Union of Ireland (TUI) conference in Cork.

The issue was raised after the TUI’s general secretary Michael Gillespie shocked attendants with figures of a “catastrophic drop” in assistant principal posts across the country.

Mr Gillespie stated to the audience that in 2009, there were 3,730 senior assistant principals, but during last year, this figure dropped by almost 30% to 2,653.

Worryingly, Mr Gillespie noted that the statistics for junior assistant principles had been damaged even further. In 2009, there were 5,493 of them across the country, but in 2022, that number decreased by 43% to 3,106.

In his speech to fellow educators earlier this morning, Laois TUI member Gerry Quinn insisted that the Government needs to take action, specifically by restoring half of the missing jobs in Budget 2024, and for the remainder to be addressed in the following Budget.

“Our demand is restoration. It’s not a general aspirational motion. It's a very, very specific demand. This is specifically what we want,” he explained.

“If it's not realised then certain actions will have to be taken, including a ballot of members for a sustained and broad-based campaign of industrial action,” Mr Quinn added.

In his own speech, TUI executive committee member Noel Cronin seconded the comments and promised that industrial action would be on the table during the upcoming academic year, if their needs are not met.

“This has been going on now for 14 years,” he stated.

“Students are entitled to proper support and services and teachers deserve a proper career structure. Without a proper career structure, it isn't any wonder we have a teachers supply crisis,” he said.

Minister for Education Norma Foley is expected to attend the conference today and to address union members’ concerns.

Ariana Grande has unexpectedly chosen to open up about body image.

Fans of the thank u, next singer had recently been debating online about their concerns for Ariana, commenting that she looked unwell and skinnier than previous years.

Although the 29-year-old doesn’t tend to respond to fans’ speculation often, Ariana chose last night to address some of their concerns.

In a TikTok video, the actress, who is currently in London filming the upcoming Wicked films, spoke directly to her audience.

“I don’t do this often. I don’t like it, I’m not good at it, but I just wanted to address your concerns about my body,” she began in her stripped back discussion.

Ariana encouraged her followers to stop openly discussing the bodies and health of others. “If you think you’re saying something good or well-intentioned, whatever it is — healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, not sexy — we just shouldn’t. We should really work towards not doing that as much,” she explained.

Ariana then went on to reveal that fans have been sharing the wrong narrative about her health. “Personally for me, the body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body,” she admitted, referring to images of her from her Sweetener World Tour in 2019. The tour was held after the impact of the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017.

“I was on a lot of antidepressants, and drinking on them, and eating poorly, and at the lowest points of my life when I looked the way you consider ‘my healthy,’ but that in fact wasn’t my healthy,” she shared.

“You never know what someone is going through, so even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working on it with,” Ariana concluded.

The 7 rings hitmaker shared hopes that “something good” would come from her candid chat, and followers soon flocked to praise her comments.

“I’m so sorry you had to make this video,” one wrote.

“You did not owe anyone this but thank you for everything you said,” another added.

"And oh, my gosh, those first days are insane. You don’t sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to. We came home, cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby. Man, you’re a zombie for the most part".

Rihanna announced she was expecting her second child in February of this year during her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show by cradling her blossoming baby bump while on stage.
