This is not a drill!

A special fountain with a constant flow of red wine has officially opened just east of Rome, in the Abruzzo region of Italy.

But wait, there's more…

Not only is there now 24-hour-access to a red wine fountain in this region, but it is TOTALLY FREE!

1LIVE happy clapping suicide squad applause

The location of the free wine is along the Cammino di San Tommaso, a route that thousands of pilgrims and tourists take from Rome to Ortona.

movie fun excited running the lord of the rings

A post on the village's Facebook page reads, “Fountain of Wine is a welcome, the Fountain of Wine is poetry.”

SPOILER: they have said that the fountain is not to be used for “drunkards” or “louts.”

That rules me out so…

Is there anything more satisfying than a well-deserved post-work pint?

Sometimes a little tipple is just what's needed to unwind after a long day on the grind, and as we're slowly but surely seeing that little stretch in the evening, thoughts of mid-week gatherings and bright beer gardens are begging to creep back into our minds.

But luckily, we live in a country brimming with cosy little pubs and gorgeous bars just waiting to welcome us after a long, hard day.

This week, we're heading South to bring you our pick of the best spots in Limerick city.

House, Limerick.

Is there anything better than a gorgeous outdoor terrace, gorgeous cocktails and divine interiors.. all under one roof? No, no there is not! The sister to House on Leeson Street, House opened up in Limerick just on the bank of the River Shannon, making for highly picturesque scenes. The food is also delicious, if you're feeling peckish.

Mariposa, the Spanish word for Butterfly.

Flannerys.

Michael Flannery’s Pub is well known to everyone in Limerick. Located on Denmark Street, alongside the pedestrian shopping area of Limerick and just around the corner from the famous Milk Market, its vibrant red shopfront is set off against a beautiful stone façade.

The Locke Bar.

Dating back to 1724, the lively Locke Bar in Limerick City is an genuine local institution. It is the home of live music, great craic,  and a great pint of the black stuff. The food is traditional: the menu includes local favourites like potted crab, lamb stew, fish and chips, and plenty of sublime Irish steak. Divine.

Dolans.

Dolans Pub is one of Limericks best loved traditional Irish pubs and seafood restaurants situated on the dockland of Limerick City. Dolans is synonymous in Limerick and beyond for its charm, Irish hospitality, incredible atmosphere, great pint, delicious food and Irish music and dancing sessions.

South’s Pub.

South’s bar is situated just at the edge of Limerick’s Crescent, a uniquely Georgian urban feature, a three-minute stroll from the city centre. A small snug is located to the side of the double swing front doors for those desiring that little bit of privacy or perhaps intimacy, while the rest of the customers sit at either the long bar or along its opposite wall. Get yourself a pint of Guinness, apparently it is the business.

OK we all love a good conspiracy theory now and then, but this one is actually TRUE.

According to the director of Disney's Frozen, princesses Anna and Elsa are sisters to TARZAN (mind blown).

Chris Buck spoke to MTV, where he confirmed this theory.

Apparently, Anna and Elsa's parents did not die in the shipwreck they were involved in… they washed up on a jungle island.

The story sort of writes itself from here, but anyway… the former King and Queen of Arendelle make a life for themselves on this island.

Ultimately, the couple end up getting killed by a leopard, but not before little Tarzan is born.

Chris admitted that the concept seems outrageous, but insisted that "In my little head, Anna and Elsa’s brother is Tarzan."

We'll take it.

Jesus lads, just when you think the world can't get any more pathetic.

We all know that nightclub bouncers have the authority to refuse people from venues – usually because said humans are too pissed to function.

However, we've never heard of someone get turned away from a nightclub because they were considered 'fat'.

I actually hate the fact that I had to write that, but people need to know.

The gorgeous Agustina Rios Martinez was ona night out, celebrating a friend's birthday in Argentina, when they arrived at the door of a popular nightclub.

The bouncer apparently told her she didn't 'hit the target' and she wasn't 'the kind of girl who goes to his place'.

Well, that's fu**ing rude.

Agustina shared her experience in a Facebook post, where she explained that:

"All my life I have been insulted, shouted at in the street, and mocked because I was a fatty, but not letting me in a club because of my physical appearance! It was the worst thing that happened to me so far."

"I share this with you so that you try not to go to these type of shit places that have no brain and believe they can manage the universe."

The post has actually been removed, because Agustina shared a link to the bouncers Facebook account – no doubt he's been getting dog's abuse. Rightly.

According to her brother, Agusta has been very torn up about her experience, and has been suffering from panic attacks.

This is truly a disgusting story, but it is important to share it.

Has something like this ever happened to you, or someone you know?

Manchester United have officially submitted an application to the English Football Association, with the hopes of starting a female football team.

Well lads, it is about time, to be fair.

Manchester United are actually one of the few major teams in the UK without a female team.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea all have lady teams, and up until this point, Man United had resisted – we've no clue why tbh.

Ed Woodward, the team's executive vice-chairman, released a statement, saying: “We are pleased to announce that the club intends to establish its first ever professional women’s team and has submitted an application to enter WSL2."

"The FA has provided excellent support through the process and we believe that launching a team in WSL2 would give many more of our graduates from the regional talent club the chance to establish themselves as first team players."

“The Manchester United women’s team must be built in the same image and with the same principles as the men’s first team and offer academy players a clear route to top-level football within the club.”

A statement from the club itself was also released: “If successful, the move would provide a career pathway for players who graduate from the long-established and highly successful girls’ regional talent club which has seen some 15 of its graduates playing international football this season alone. The squad would be based at the club’s historic training centre at The Cliff (formerly the senior mens’ venue).”

We love seeing the spotlight on women's sport – so important!

A team of researchers at the Royal College of Surgeons have made major progress in the fight against breast cancer. The team has discovered a mathematical formula that will show doctors how effective chemotherapy would be for patients with an aggressive form of breast cancer.

The scientists explained that even though their research is in the early stages, this formula has the potential to spare breast cancer patients from the side-effects of chemotherapy.

Jochen Prehn, who is a professor of physiology at the Royal College of Surgeons shared, “We hope that, if successful in further testing, our research may one day allow doctors to give women more tailored and effective treatments, and spare the harsh side-effects of chemotherapy in women who are unlikely to respond well to it.”

The treatment will help women with triple-negative breast cancer, which affects over 250 people in Ireland, especially younger women.

The team hope that their findings will lead to better treatments for women with triple-negative breast cancer, that will give patients a stronger outcome.

It will take many more years to develop this treatment but this is a great breakthrough. Robert O’Connor of the Irish Cancer Society told Newstalk, “This paper highlights vital work being undertaken to identify new ways to improve the treatment of cancer.”

He explained that the research shows the “building blocks required to lay the foundations for life-saving cancer research.”

"The more we understand this disease, the better chance we have of stopping it in its tracks,” he added.

The Irish Cancer Society help fund vital studies like this one through the public’s donations. They have urged the public to donate on Daffodil Day, which takes place on March 23.

This study was published in the journal Cell Death and Disease.

Dermalogica understands that everyone’s skin is as unique as they are. That’s why it’s the number one choice of skin care professionals worldwide. Their products combine scientific innovation with powerful natural ingredients so that everyone can experience healthy glowing skin, for life. The NEW Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon™ delivers advanced ingredients that work with and optimise the skin’s natural active overnight repair & recovery process. And we have two up for grabs – one for you and one for your bestie.

There’s a serious stigma about sleep. In today’s increasingly interconnected, 24/7 world we view it as a period of idleness or lost productivity, and we try to get by on as little as possible. Most of us don’t realise that the hours we spend asleep are actually among our most productive: when it comes to your skin care routine, sleep is a crucial component for the skin’s recovery from the assaults of the day. Just a few nights of missed sleep can lead to dull skin and fine lines, and chronic sleep deprivation leads to dark circles and early ageing.

While our ‘always on’ attitude means we won’t be getting more sleep any time soon – NEW Sound Sleep Cocoon™ is a revitalising treatment gel-cream that works with the skin’s natural overnight repair and recovery process to optimise the skin benefits of the sleep we do get, delivering glowing skin by morning. Because skin is best able to absorb active ingredients at night, Sound Sleep Cocoon™ is formulated with motion-activated essential oils to soothe senses with aromatherapy and promote deep, restful sleep for healthier-looking skin.

Ingredient features and benefits include:

Encapsulated essential oil with motion-activated technology encapsulated, motion-activated French Lavender oil, along with calming Sandalwood and Patchouli, soothe the senses with aromatherapy to help promote deep, restful sleep for healthier-looking skin
Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract (Persian Silk Tree) reduces signs of skin fatigue and restores vitality.
Evodia Rutaecarpa Fruit Extract (Fruits of Wu-Zhu in traditional Chinese medicine) provides visibly radiant skin by morning and promotes a more refined skin texture.
Kakadu Plum Extract, rich in antioxidant Vitamin C, is clinically shown to improve and brighten skin tone.
• Tamarindus Indicia (Tamarind Seed Extract) is a polysaccharide that cushions skin, creating a nourishing cocoon of comfort for softer, more hydrated skin.

Smooth over face and neck as the last step in your night-time regimen, allowing the gel-cream to melt into skin overnight. The Sound Sleep Cocoon, 50ml, RRP €86.50 and is be available at Dermalogica-authorised spas, salons and skin centres, and at dermalogica.ie.

The fabulous folk at Dermalogica have given us two to give away to one lucky SHEmazing reader and her friend – to be in with a chance to win, just fill in your details below. Good luck

We bloody love biscuits. On their own, with tea, crumbled up on top of ice cream.

The opportunities are just endless.

Hell, I'm eating a biscuit right now!

Anyway, nothing truly excited us quite like a new delicious discovery – and this is the best one we've seen in a while.

Milka chocolate fingers people… no we're not joking!

Credit: Milka/Instagram

Can you even imagine how delicious these must be?

Bad news though… they're not currently available in Irish supermarkets, HOWEVER you can hunt some down online if you're savvy enough.

And we know you are.

We've also observed the fact that in some places these goodies are actually known as Milka Lila Stix, which is important to note.

However, as glorious as these may be… we are a sucker for the OG of chocolate fingers.

Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers predate the entire Milka brand, with its original biscuit first being released back in 1897 as part of an early Cadbury biscuit assortment.

However, the Cadbury Chocolate Fingers that we know and love were released in the 1950s.

At the end of the day, we just love chocolate.

In all shapes and forms.

Time and time again, we find ourselves scrolling through Spotify looking for our favourite lady jams.

It's time consuming and kind of annoying – so we decided to do something about it!

We have set ourselves up on Spotify, and created the grooviest playlist ever (think all the best in 90s pop, plus Dua Lipa and the gals).

Currently, we have about 45 songs on it, but we are so open to suggestions. Have a song you love? Let us know, and sure we'll add it on for you.

We're also going to add 5 songs to the playlist every week, and we'll keep you updated.

This week, we created a poll asking what song you'd like added. The winner?

Tik Tok, by Kesha! Obsessed.

So we added that, and 4 other bangers for you!

Have a listen, and let us know what you think.

The cost of living for all Irish households could increase by 2 to 3.1 percent under a hard Brexit. The price of bread and cereals could jump by 30 percent, with milk, eggs, and cheese prices potentially rising by 46 percent thanks to possible tariffs and trade costs.

These numbers come from a study published by the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) and commissioned by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

The ERSI looked at different Brexit scenarios in order to determine how prices may increase for imported goods, the Irish Examiner reports.

Overall, there would be an increased cost of €892 to €1,360 annually per household, with the first figure showing what the increase would be like with non-tariff trade costs. The higher figure takes into account tariffs and other trade costs.

The higher costs incurred by a hard Brexit would disproportionately affect lower-income households. Poorer families could experience increases of 70 percent more than the wealthiest.

Poorer households would struggle more under a hard Brexit because they spend a higher proportion of their income on goods such as food that are greatly affected by tariffs and trade costs.

Martina Lawless (an ESRI associate research professor) and Edgar Morgenroth (professor of economics at Dublin City University), who authored the report, said that without a trade deal or transition agreement by March 2019, World Trade Organisation (WTO) tariff rules would apply.

This means that tariffs would be applied to UK goods being sent to the EU, and vice versa.

Martina noted that the projected numbers above reflect 'a worst case scenario'.

She said that the figures in the report likely show the maximum increase in the cost of living because they did not take into account that people may switch products or change their spending habits in the face of rising prices.

So, you may have realised it by now… I am a massive Disney nerd.

Seriously, at 26 years of age, I refuse to drink my tea out of a mug that doesn't don my favourite characters.

That's why I am SO freakin' excited about the shiny new range of Disney goods from our pals at Penneys.

They've gifted us with everything from 101 dalmatians PJs, to Chip cups and Minnie Mouse jumpers.

But now, they have introduced a homeware collection inspired by Aladdin and his mates.

What does it all entail, I hear you shouting at your screen?

WELL, you can get yourself a shiny tea pot, in the form of the gold magic LAMP. I actually can't.

There are also some really gorgeous cushions, including one featuring the smiling face of Genie!

Fancy sipping your morning brew out of a Genie head? Well, now you can.

There's also gorgeous bed linen and tea towels for the taking!

Also how deadly is the Genie frame? And those gorgeous coasters.

Penneys, once again keeping the magic of Disney alive!

Animal lovers, rejoice!

San Francisco has just become the biggest city in the USA to ban the sale of real fur entirely.

The move came after pressure from humane societies and through the tireless work of District Supervisor Katy Tang.'

'I hope that it inspires other cities and the country to take action,' Ms Tang told The Los Angeles Times.

'Certainly we need better federal regulations on fur farming,' she continued.

'There's no humane way to raise an animal to peel its skin off.'

'It is estimated that around the world some 50 million animals are slaughtered in gruesome ways so that we can wear their fur,' she told the San Francisco Chronicle.

The ban will come into play from January 1 2019, and gives retailers a year from that date to have sold off their current stock of real fur items.

High-end stores with fur boutiques are expected to be the worst hit by the ban, which applies to everything, including clothes and accessories.

Berkeley and West Hollywood have already banned fur sales.
