So, comedy fans down under flocked to the Sydney Opera House last night to see our very own Dara O'Briain kick of his Australian tour.

And if Twitter is anything to go by, the Irish in the audience were delighted by the addition of one particular item to the concession stand.

The iconic venue clearly did their homework and treated Irish punters to a little taste of home by selling our beloved Tayto crisps for the occasion.

Dara, who was only delighted to be performing at such a prestigious venue, took to Twitter after the gig to confirm that he did not request the crisps were sold, however he added that it was a nice touch.

He is set to perform again tonight and we can only hope that after the success of last night the venue will up their game.

Spice bag, anyone?

When it comes to pre-date prep, most of us favour a shower, a mini-meltdown, and a quick glass of wine, but apparently we're all missing a trick.

According to research carried out at the Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology at the IDC Herzliya in Israel, watching pornography in the lead-up to a first date means you're more open to the possibility of a second.

We know, what?

With the help of 246 participants, Professor Gurit Birnbaum conducted three studies and established that individuals who were shown sexual stimuli before a date were more likely to be open and expressive in a subsequent dating situation.

Across three studies, researchers established that 'sexual priming' facilitates self-disclosure whether via instant messaging or face-to-face interaction, and ultimately creates a dynamic that makes the possibility of a second date more likely.

Simply put, in comparison to the control group who were not exposed to sexual stimuli, those who were ultimately created an environment which would likely lead to subsequent dates.

"The findings indicated that sexual priming led participants to reveal personal intimate information to an opposite-sex stranger," the study read.

"This self-disclosure, in turn, further increased interest in having a first date with the stranger," it continues. "These findings suggest that activation of the sexual system encourages the use of strategies that allow people to become closer to potential partners."

The study, entitled Sex Unleashes Your Tongue, was published in SAGE Journals.

With 80,000 students set to benefit from the SUSI grant, be ready to get your applications in.

The scheme will reopen today for renewal and new applications for all students attending third-level colleges in the academic year of 2017/18.

Since first being set up in 2012, the grant scheme looks to give eligible students around €6,000 over the course of the academic year.

According to the Irish Times, there is a huge demand for student grants this year, mainly due to the availability of maintenance grants.

Student Universal Support Ireland, which administers the scheme, believes 105,000 applications will come their way over the coming days.

Out of those, around 80,000 are expected to be eligible, which will mean €380m in student support will be provided.

There are also various other grants available this year, including ones for mature students and PLC students, so if you want more info, you can check out this website.

"I want him next to me my whole life. I can't live without him."

The couple have been together for five years, and their relationship has been well documented on Total Divas and Total Bellas.

Most of us have our parents to thank for teaching us how to drive.

And it was probably the worst experience ever, right?!

From the constant 'watch now', to 'handbrake, handbrake, HANDBRAKE' being screamed at you, it's no easy feat.

And don't even mention them reaching out the window to talk to someone they know while you're just left there with no notion what to do.

Well, Foil, Arms and Hog have just created a p*ss take video, and it's simply brilliant.

The lads nailed it.

Ollie Locke has announced that he has quit Made In Chelsea.

The reality star first appeared on the show in its 2011 inauguration series, but has decided to leave due to his busy schedule.

Ollie's appearances on the show have been staggered of late, as he took a two year break in the past, but told the Daily Star that he'll stay on this season to support his BFF Binky Felstead.

"I’m just so busy at the moment I don’t have time to film. I’m basically just there for Binky at the moment, but this will be my last full series.

"I will keep popping up from time to time though."

So, it won't be the final end of Ollie, but we'll be sad to see him go.
