Having pulled out of their slot on the show following a shock split, it seems that Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell have made it up to the Loose Women ladies by appearing on the show today.

Oh and they of course cleared up the split rumours revealing that they had had a few drinks and were at different events on the night in question. 

"I said, 'I can't do this anymore.' I meant us being apart," revealed the former Hollyoaks actress referring to texts she sent to the Irish model. 

"People selling stories to the press. It was all getting on top of me. He took it like I ended it with him. But I didn't mean that. He was angry.

"He thought I ended it. It was a misunderstanding."

Following the confusion over the text messages, Jeremy posted a cryptic post to Twitter which suggested that the couple were no more: "I have been the biggest mug… You live and learn. Onwards and upwards." 

All of the confusion resulted in the pair missing their appearance on the show scheduled for Monday. 

However, the duo look happier than ever as they discussed what the future holds as well as nailing a game of Mr and Mrs.

Lauren Goodger has been charting her fitness and weight loss journey over the last year, eating clean and hitting the gym in a big way.

While her Instagram is never short of bikini snaps and workout selfies – she is promoting her new fitness DVD, after all – it was this week that fans really noticed a huge difference in her size and shape.

The reality star posted a before-and-after snap of herself in identical black bikinis, one from halfway into her weight loss journey and one from this week. Cop a look at those abs:

 

And while that tan is most definitely fake, Lauren's getting no shortage of sun this week, as she's been jetting between various beach resorts with her boyfriend Jake McClean.

Lauren admitted recently that it was Jake's "tough love" approach that gave her the motivation she needed to get fit – but she promises he meant his comments well.

"Before [losing weight] I was very much in denial," she explained on Loose Women last month.

"Jake said to me, 'Cor you’ve put on a bit of weight!;' and my sister said to me last Christmas, 'You’ve got a bit big!'

"I can laugh about it now, but I needed to hear it to change."

And even though she's dropped three dress sizes since slimming down, Lauren says for her it's having a strong mind and body that's important.

"I’m not skinny, I’m strong and fit – there’s a difference," she said of her naturally curvy shape. 

"I look healthier than ever. I am a lot stronger in my mind, I don’t take anything negative, I feel so much better because of this."

While we all reckon we would be the perfect specimens for an Irish version of Gogglebox, we can certainly see a lot of ourselves in Dublin Hun's version of the hit Channel 4 show, wonderfully titled Gogglepox. 

From lounging around the house in our pyjamas to having in depth discussions about the Kardashians whilst contemplating ordering a takeaway, Dublin Hun may be a parody but she still gets us. 

So-called Nikita's stellar insights into the minds of many of us admitted Irish huns have gained Dublin Hun a loyal following on Instagram and we can totally see why. 

But never have we seen more of ourselves in this particular vid. In fact, this will probably be us later on tonight.

Reports are circulating today that Louis Tomlinson has been assembling a legal team in order to begin a custody battle for his newborn son, Freddie Reign. 

According to TMZ, the One Direction star has been shut out by his former flame and mother of his child, Briana Jungwirth. 

Despite forking out millions for a fancy three-bedroom home for his baby mama and son in the fancy LA area of Calabasas, it seems that Briana is looking for even more money. 

Louis has been renting a 21 million dollar mansion nearby but has been finding it hard to see his son as he claims that Briana is using the child as leverage to get more cash. 

The gossip website is reporting that Louis is planning to take the stylist to court in order to demand more custodial rights to his child. 

According to numerous sources back in January, Louis has already agreed to shell out over ten thousand euro a month in child support to Briana. 

All added up, this will mean that the History singer will have shelled out over 21 million euro by the time the child is 18. 

We just hope these two work it out for the sake of little Freddie.

American model and former Sports Illustrated covergirl, Cheryl Tiegs, has come under public scrutiny after criticising Sports Illustrated for featuring plus-sized model Ashley Graham on the cover of it's new issue. 

Ashley has recently made history by becoming the first plus-sized body to front the cover of the highly coveted Swimsuit Issue for 2016.

And while we think she looks absolutely out of this world, it seems that former covergirl Cheryl is not impressed. 

"Actually I don’t like it that we’re talking about full figured women because it’s glamorising them," said the 68-year-old to E! News. 

"Your waist should be smaller than 35 inches. That’s what Dr.Oz [American health expert] said and I’m sticking to it.

"No I don’t think it’s healthy. Her face is beautiful. Beautiful. But I don’t think it’s healthy in the long run."

And as you can imagine, no one has been particularly impressed with Cheryl's comment and the model has been forced to attempt to defend herself on social media. 

"I would like to clarify my thoughts regarding bodyweight. I don't think being anorexic, bulimic or overweight are healthy," said Cheryl on Facebook last night. 

"All of these can be connected to serious health issues. I want everyone to be as healthy as they can be." 

Fans were quick to comment that Ashley's website revealed her waist to measure in at 30 inches, making her well within the healthy sizeframe according to Dr. Oz. 

At a size 14, we think she just slays the cover. 

The 28-year-old revealed that she broke into tears when she heard that she had landed the cover.

Thanks to technology, we can now do countless things we wouldn't have dreamed of as kids.

Video chatting with someone halfway across the world, managing our lives through our phone, recording TV shows without having to put a big dirty 'DON'T TAPE OVER THIS' sticker on the VHS cassette… the list goes on.

Taking a massive swig of your tea only to realise it's gone ice cold without you noticing is an injustice that must be stopped.

Unless someone is literally shaking us, poking us or shouting in our ear, we're gonna fall back to sleep. Sorry 'bout that.

You burn more calories digesting celery than the celery actually contains. Can someone invent a chocolate with similar properties, please?

Zayn Malik looks suitably moody in his new music video for his second solo single, It's You. 

Widely reported to have been written about his turbulent split from long-term girlfriend Perrie Edwards, the video also features a very pretty (and very familiar) blonde. 

American actress Nicola Peltz, known for her turn in Transformers: Age of Extinction opposite Irish actor Jack Reynor and the television show Bates Motel, stars in the steamy, black and white video which sees the 23-year-old pining after the stunning blonde. 

"She don't give a f*ck about what I need," sings Zayn, who is currently dating model Gigi Hadid, over the dreamy track. 

"I won't cover the scars, I'll let them bleed."

The song is believed by many fans to be a bit of a low-blow towards his ex-fiancée and her purported "lies." 

Meanwhile, Perrie hung out with Zayn's former bandmate Louis Tomlinson at a BRIT awards after-party earlier this week. 

We wonder if Zayn has cut all ties with Little Mix and his pals in 1D.

While we were delighted to hear that these two were trying to work out their tubulent relationship, it seems that Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter are on another official break. 

The pair reportedly called it quits back in December before rekindling their romance in the Nerw Year. 

However, it seems that hectic schedules and being forced to spend a lot of time apart has forced the handsome couple to go on yet another break. 

"They are finding it hard to spend time together as Ellie's music career takes her all over the world and she is pulled in different directions," a source close to the pair told the Mirror. 

"Dougie is trying to make it in America as an actor and they are drifting apart."

Ellie recently described the difficulties of juggling a busy professional life with a relationsip in an interview with the Lorraine Show. 

"We work it out, we figure it out. We are pretty realistic with things.

"We're pretty sensible about it and we just see each other when we can."

Even though she will be focusing on her career for the time being, the 29-year-old remained coy when asked whether she would like to have a plan to start a family in the future. 

"It's just that time that everything comes up in the air, you don't know what's gonna… but at some point, maybe."

We hope these two work it out in the long run.

All those warnings on tampon boxes about Toxic Shock Syndrome? Yeah, you should definitely be paying attention to them.

One UK student has revealed she ended up with severe blood poisoning, close to death, after forgetting about her tampon for nine full days.

Emily Pankhurst, 20, described to The Daily Mail how she assumed the pain and bloating she was feeling were just down to stress, as she was studying hard for upcoming university exams at the time.

"I blamed deadlines, returning to uni after the New Year and exams. Actually I was seriously ill," she explained, adding that she had simply inserted a new tampon, having forgotten to take the old one out.

"When I finally realised, I pulled it out it was pure black," she says of the moment she realised what she had done.

"I was feeling really ill by that stage. I was hot and dizzy and felt really strange.

"I wouldn't have known what it was apart from the string. It was horrible. I immediately chucked it in the loo, I felt sick."

However even after removing the forgotten tampon, Emily's symptoms continued to worsen, and she was eventually rushed to hospital with intense stomach pains and slurred speech.

"I was sat in the dark. I can't remember much, but mum said I kept repeating, "I feel ill – my stomach".

"'My speech slurred and my skin became mottled. I started to feel faint and I was rushed to hospital by ambulance.

"During the journey they said I was displaying all the symptoms of sepsis [blood poisoning] and so the blue lights were put on. I became an emergency case."

Thankfully Emily received medical treatment before the sepsis took hold of her body completely, but it was a long road to recovery.

"I was fed through a tube," she recalls, adding that she couldn't even use the toilet as normal.

"My bladder was full – I had two litres of urine in me – but I couldn't go to the toilet naturally and was given a catheter.

"I've never been in pain like it so was given morphine and doctors said if I had left it any longer I would be dead."

Even now, two months on, Emily is still feeling the consequences of her illness and finds she is constantly exhausted, needing up to 13 hours sleep a night to function.

Emily has shared her story to warn other women to be mindful of their health, especially in times of stress.

"I hope my story can help others to take care of their health and not take their lives for granted, because you never know what might be around the corner."

There was a slow start to the turnout at Ireland's polling stations this morning , and we may have figured out why.

As well as being voting day for the general election in the Republic of Ireland, February 26 also happens to be Free Breakfast Friday at McDonald's.

And when it comes to demand, it seems a free Egg McMuffin definitely trumps a ballot box – just take a look at the MENTAL queues this morning:

Diners were treated to a free Sausage and Egg McMuffin or a Bacon and Egg McMuffin this morning until 10am at all 89 Irish McDonald's outlets.

On Wednesday night she was positively glowing on the BRITs red carpet in a delicate cream and gold gown, but fast forward 24 hours and Perrie Edwards' glamourous life had taken a turn for the worse.

The singer took to Twitter last night to show off some seriously nausea-inducing injuries, revealing she had accidentally set herself on fire earlier in the day.

"So today I had an accident, and by accident I mean accidentally set myself on fire," she wrote alongside a photo of her badly blistered and burnt right hand.

"The pilot light on my boiler blew up and set my arm/hand on fire. Not a pleasant experience."

And it wasn't just her post-BRITs hangover that had her in agony – the singer admitted she was left pretty shaken and hurt after the accident, as well as being down an item from her wardrobe.

"I'm in pain, full of blisters, there's not one hair left on my hand or arm and it burnt the sleeve of my favourite jumper. F**king nightmare.

"A little advice from me… STAY AWAY FROM FIRE!"

Poor Perrie – here's hoping those blisters heal up soon.

Colour us surprised when queen of the stiletto heel Victoria Beckham mentioned in a recent interview that she had given up wearing high heels. 

"I just can't do heels any more. At least not when I'm working. I travel a lot," said the mother-of-four to the Telegraph. 

"Clothes have to be simple and comfortable."

"People saw the real me when I came out in a pair of men’s trousers, a roll-neck and trainers," adding the star referring to her fashion show last month. 

Don't get us wrong, we are totally digging Victoria's new laid-back, simple style but we have to admit to being a tad bit surprised. 

This is coming from the woman who once said this after being pulled over by the police: 

Oh and a woman who once wore stilettos on a treadmill:

And the woman who told Allure magazine in 2009: "I beyond hate ballerina flats. I can’t even walk in them. Unless they’re on a ballet dancer doing ballet, I just don’t get it. I love heels."

While we reckon Victoria's whole persona revolves around crazy elaborate high heels and that flats are more in Sporty Spice's domain, we think the fashion designer is moving with the times and looks amazing.  

So you do you VB, you will always be Posh Spice to us.
