Congratulations are in order this evening for Girls Aloud singer, Kimberley Walsh and husband Justin Scott who have welcomed their second child.

The 35-year-old took to Twitter to announce the good news saying she and Justin have welcomed a baby boy.

Earlier this week, Kimberley shared a snap of herself embracing her baby bump with the caption:

“Can’t wait to meet this little one!”

Well, the little one is now here and he joins big brother, Bobby who was born in September 2014.

Kimberley and Justin have been together for 14 years and tied the knot back in January in Barbados with bandmates Cheryl and Nicola Roberts by her side.

With former bandmate and BFF, Cheryl yet to confirm her pregnancy, we’ll have to wait and see if the pair will be organising play dates for their little ones.

Their divorce was formalised just in October. However, sadly Jean Bernard Fernandez Versini and his estranged wife are not now in close contact.

Indeed, the French businessman has spoken for the first time about the moment he discovered that Cheryl Cole was expecting a child with her boyfriend, Liam Payne.

And it seems that he found out in the same way that many of her fans did: via social media posts and online photographs.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, the 36-year-old explained: "Funnily enough that was how I heard."

JB is evidently delighted for Cheryl, 33, and her 23-year-old One Direction love; he continued by saying having children makes the world a "better place".

He added: "It's a great thing to have babies. There are so many sad things these days, if everyone was creating life, the world would be a better place."

When it comes to matters of the heart and finding love again, Mr Fernandez Versini believes that fate finds a way.

"If it happens, it happens. My life has never been about looking for something. It comes to me," he stated. "I'm old-fashioned. If I'm meant to meet the person, I will. If not, I will go home."

Jean and Cheryl tied the knot on a tropical beach in Mustique in July 2014; they had met three months previously at the Cannes Film Festival. Cheryl has also been married to footballer Ashley Cole.

She and Liam are believed to have first begun their romantic encounter a year ago. They have yet to publicly announce the pregnancy.

We're all pretty used to wacky celebrity baby names at this stage.

From Saint and North, to Blue Ivy and the OG Apple Martin, Hollywood's parents are more likely now to give their tot an… unusual moniker.

However, these parents went way beyond any celebrity when it came to naming their daughter.

We can't even believe this, but a mother and father have name their baby KVIIIlyn.

No joke.

For those of you who forget your roman numerals (my hand is up), the name is more like a puzzle – it's K + the roman numeral for 8 + lyn. Get it? It's Kaitlyn.

The story comes from Reddit (as most great stories do) and was posted a few months ago but only started to gain traction on social media this week.

In the post, a Reddit user explains his dismay when he found an article in a magazine about the unique name and believed it was a step too far.

God love that child when it comes to school and the other kids try to spell her name.

Whether you're having a few glasses at the end of a busy week, or poppin' bottles at your work Christmas party, it's safe to say we're not opposed to the wonderfulness that is a glass of vino.

But one thing that is not so wonderful is the downright AWFUL headache that creeps up on us the next day.

Well, a wine chemist (yep, that's an actual job) told the Chicago Tribune that there are ways to avoid a wine-over.

Despite popular opinion, sulfites are not to blame – they can occur naturally in the wine during fermentation or are added solely to preserve the wine – but instead, tyramine and tannins are the peeps that are up to no good.

And what the Hell are those, you ask? Tyramine is an amino acid that affects your blood pressure and tannins are what make wine dry or 'bitter'.

If your body has trouble breaking down tyramine, it can cause a banging headache. And what's more, tyramine is also found in cheese – so, we bet that cheese and wine night isn't such a good idea after all, huh?

And as for tannins, these are related to opening your blood vessels, which is the first step your body takes on when a headache is brewing.

But, fear not. There's some easy solutions to our vino problems.

According to Dr Seymour Diamond of the National Headache Foundation, drinking a cup of strong coffee before pouring yourself a glass of wine can help. Caffeine restricts blood vessels, which stops them from opening and subsequently can stop a headache.

Sticking to white wine or lighter reds can also be of benefit as lighter-bodied wines have lower tannin levels.

And last but not least, HYDRATE. Drink water before, during and after you drink wine to make the morning after a little more bearable.

Some people are absolute fiends for extracurricular activities, weekend hobbies and evening pastimes, and other people are, well, just not.

Apart from going to work and socialising, some people are quite happy to do sweet eff-all with their free time – something which, for some reason, often evokes confusion and pity in others.

If you struggle to come up with a single response when quizzed about your (lack of) 'proper' interests, you're definitely not alone.

And here are just 12 things people with no hobbies will recognise.

1. You wonder why 'Netflix bingeing' doesn't garner the same respect as other pastimes.

"Do they know how much dedication it takes to make it through three seasons in a week?"

2. You wonder if you were born without a 'hobbie' gene after quitting every single after-school activity your parents enrolled you in.

"Mam, camogie isn't going to work for me. Sabrina is on then, and I'm not flaking on her."

3. You attempt a couple of evening classes, but quickly realise you're wasting your money in a desperate attempt to seem interesting.

"I quit Pilates because I was only doing it to please the rest of yee."

4. You'd rather list your weaknesses than your hobbies in a job interview.

"Hobbies? Ehhh… have I told you I struggle with timekeeping and hate working as part of a team?"

5. You sometimes feel sorry for people with hobbies because it often means leaving the house in the rain.

"Would you look at your man outside in his football shorts. Jesus, I wouldn't fancy it myself."

6. You love the accessories that accompany hobbies, and have often purchased them… just cos.

"You don't have to do yoga to own a cute sparkly yoga mat, and you definitely don't have to do it to wear yoga pants."

7. People who take photos of their dinner for Instagram are allowed to call it a hobby, but apparently texting isn't in the same league.

"But it's literally all I do when I'm not in work, so is that not a hobby?"

8. You often wonder if you have yet to discover the hobby which will ultimately define you.

"For all you know, I could be an incredible ukelele player, and I'm just waiting for the right moment to take it up."

9. Dates are a minefield, so you prepare an answer that suggests hobbies just aren't for someone with a jam-packed schedule such as yours.

"Hobbies? Will ya stop! Sure, I don't have a minute to get stuck back into… the ones… that I used to do… and love."

10. You sometimes feel sorry for your family when outsiders ask what you do in your spare time, and they're forced to answer.

"Jaysus, what would she be into? Well, she's great at the ol' selfies, aren't you love?"

11. You worry your future children will carry your 'hobbieless' gene, then you worry they'll be the exact opposite.

"Jesus, what if they have me running around after them all weekend? I'll be wrecked picking them up."

12. You can't wait for the day when you can say 'lying down' is your main hobby – you do it for fun, and you'd recommend it to anyone.

"Honestly, I knew from the first time I tried it, it was for me."

There's nothing like social media posts to evoke serious envy among many of us, and it looks like this one has done its job admirably.

After coming home to a seriously festive surprise courtesy of her other half, one girl named Grace decided to share a snap of her spoils.

And we are feeling pretty damn put out right now.

"He knows that I'm always cold and that I love Christmas lights so he surprised me when I got back from vacation," she wrote in reference to her (perfect) boyfriend.

Sharing three pictures of his thoughtful gesture, Grace revealed that she had been gifted 12 pairs of uber-fluffy socks, a fleecy throw, a hape of chocolate and a fairy light display… all because her boyfriend is absolute GOALS.

"These socks are for when your feet are cold, and I'm not around for you to put them under me," Alex wrote in one of his notes.

Commenting on the post which has racked up more than 12,000 likes, one Twitter user wrote: "I am in love with this. Thankful that boys like this exist to love girls this way."

Countless other girls decided to tag their boyfriend in Grace's post for, you know, no real reason…

Excuse us while we make a phonecall.

Whether you're down because of the crappy weather, had an argument with your BFF or this time of year just isn't your fave, it's safe to say this season can bring on a whole range of emotions.

And while this won't cure your blues indefinitely, it will make you feel a little bit better.

According to the Journal of Positive Psychology, people who bake every now and again are much more relaxed compared to people who don't.

The researchers followed 658 people for two weeks. Each participant had to write a diary, which was read by the researchers afterwards. They discovered that each person who baked or cooked at the end of most days felt that they were "flourishing," and advancing in their personal growth.

The study's lead author author, Tamlin Conner said: "There is growing recognition in psychology research that creativity is associated with emotional functioning.

"However, most of this work focuses on how emotions benefit or hamper creativity, not whether creativity benefits or hampers emotional well-being.

"There is genuinely something very therapeutic about baking."

Whether you're going to take this on board or not, we have to admit, we'll be whipping up a few cupcakes next time we're feeling low.

According to emerging reports, the University of Limerick has issued a warning to all students regarding their sexual health.

Amid a recent chlamydia and gonorrhea outbreak, the university has circulated an email advising students of the potential dangers associated with contracting the infections.

"The Student Health Centre has been notified that there is an outbreak of Gonorrhoea and Chlamydia on campus." read the email. "These are sexually transmitted diseases as a result of unprotected anal, vaginal or oral sex."

It has been established that there have been 10 reported cases of the infections which, under the HSE guidelines, constitutes an outbreak.

Both STIs can be contracted through unprotected sex, but those who are carrying the infections may not exhibit any symptoms.

Commenting on the outbreak, the University of Limerick issued a statement, saying: "As is best practice, UL has rolled out an awareness campaign contacting every student directly."

"In accordance with HSE protocols students are being urged to present to the STI and/or the GP clinics run by the UL Student Health Centre should they have concerns with regard to any element of their health and to get the necessary treatment."

Advising students on current protocol, they added: "All students who present are currently being seen with or without an appointment and UL will continue to work closely with the HSE to ensure all awareness and treatment protocols are fully adhered to."

The Dublin Fire Brigade have taken to Twitter to warn festive revellers of the fire hazards that this time of year can involve.

From faulty lights to unattended candles, the brigade is using Twitter as a medium to keep people safe this winter.

The DFB has warned against purchasing Christmas lights and decor that don't carry a CE mark.

The are particularly warning against these "rice lights," which were recalled by the European Commissioner.

The EU Commissioner also warns against these LED lights, which have been recalled after causing electrocution.

The product is being withdrawn from the market and anyone who has these lights in their home is urged to return them to the retailer.

The CE mark is a symbol that indicates that products conform with relevant EU directives regarding health and safety or environmental protection.

Neither of the above products carry the mark.

The Dublin Fire Brigade is also asking that families check that their lights aren't damaged after a year in storage.

Lights with exposed or frayed wiring should never ben used.
