Lily Allen has just joined Tinder, although, it may not be for the reasons that you think.

The 20-year-old Smile songstress has admitted to using the app to help make new friends while out on the road.

Her profile reads, “I’m a touring artist wanting to meet people abroad who don’t want to talk about the industry formally known as entertainment.”

Ms Allen also proves that she is only using the site as a platonic means to make friends as she then states that she is, “married, [has] two beautiful girls, a massive mortgage and ridiculous schedule.”

This isn’t the first time the star has given the app a try either. In 2014, Lily tweeted saying “Just discovered tinder. *Waves goodbye to life*”.

Oh, we’ve been there too Lily!

And at least now with the verified accounts, if you do happen to stumble across Lily or any other celeb, you know you’re not being catfished!

For 10 years Friends kept everyone laughing with the ridiculous and sometimes not so ridiculous antics of six twentysomethings trying to figure out how to properly adult in New York City.

Although, if you turn on the TV you’re able to relive all of the entertainment all over again at almost any hour of the day. The US sitcom was just that popular.

Now we can’t imagine how you could possibly make the much-loved show any better to be honest, but someone did.

The good people at Buzzfeed BFF posted a video earlier today and we have been making loving faces at our screens ever since.

They added puppies! Puppies everywhere. Matt Le Bark is our personal fave, but feel free to find choose your own and get through the mid-week slump with a smile.

The video is a shot-by-shot remake of the original series' opening credits. Except now Jennifer Aniston is an adorable cuddly puppy and Ross is played by the next big canine actor David Sniffer.

You’re welcome.

All of the puppies in the video are rescue pups looking for goo homes at a New York based animal shelter, Pet Rescue NY.

Now we feel even more strongly about how cute this video is. How could you not want to take one of these guys home with you?

First Sam from Love Actually, and now Charlie Bucket… it seems to be the week for our childhood film favourites to come out of hiding.

After finding fame in 2004's Finding Neverland aged just 12, Freddie Highmore made it big a year later with the lead part in the second film adaptation of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Since then he's had a fairly strong acting career, with roles in The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Art of Getting By and the grim TV series Bates Motel.

However we hadn't realised just how much Freddie had grown up until we saw the cover shot from his new shoot for Attitude magazine. Charlie Bucket is now 23, and ladies, he's not half bad.

If you can forgive the murderer eyes – his Bates Motel character is a fledgling serial killer – there's no denying Freddie has aged very well indeed. Here he is just last year not looking quite so sultry… it's amazing what a good haircut can do:

If that wasn't enough 'Where Are They Now' eye candy for one day, here's a brand new outtake from Joseph Sinclair's recent shoot with the same magazine. Neville Longbottom scrubs up well, doesn't he?

All of the die-hard fashionistas are breathing heavy sighs of relief as the news comes that Alexa Chung is back with a new collection with AG.

Her first collection with the brand was released in January and went down a treat, because we all need more denim in our lives, right? The lines A-line denim miniskirt, one of the most popular pieces sold out, very fast.

The oh-so trendy schoolgirl inspired skirts are back with a bang, alongside some very on trend new designs. There is still a lovely throwback vibe to the collection and we wouldn’t mind getting our hands on some of those nice knits for when the winter chill really arrives.

The collection is designed to be perfect for going from day to night with no fuss and superior style. Speaking about the collection, which lands in BT2 shops on July 23, Alexa said “it’s an evolution”.

“The first collection was very focused and stripped back, I challenged myself to create an essential denim wardrobe.”

It seems like she certainly rose to the challenge.

The collection has multiple denim styles for you to fall in love with, whatever your preference; from high-rise to straight legged and even a denim romper.

Alexa also said of the new line that it was “more about exploring where else we could take it.”

So she took the fashion game outside for some fresh new pieces. The outerwear featured in the collection includes a vintage-inspired coat of black suede with fabulous embroidery. We love it.

Speaking with Refinery29 Alexa also pointed out that while she embraces all types of new denim styles, she will never turn her back on the legendary skinny jean:

“You have to dress for your shape, and I look better in that cut, so I don't think they'll die in my wardrobe."

As Bobbi Brown spends what are likely to be her final days in hospice care, her aunt Pat Houston has begun the painful steps of preparing for her death.

Pat, who was sister-in-law to Bobbi's late mother Whitney Houston, was seen at Bobbi's townhouse in Roswell, Georgia recently, with sources saying she was there to clear out all of the 22-year-old's possessions.

"She kept all the pictures and Whitney’s platinum and gold album plaques,” a source told Us Weekly. “But she threw everything else out….Everything is at Pat’s house now."

Bobbi was found face-down and unresponsive in the bathtub at her Roswell home on January 31st of this year, and has been in a coma ever since. Four weeks ago her family confirmed that she was being moved to hospice care as her condition "continued to deteriorate."

At the time it was also reported that Bobbi had been taken off life support and all medications helping to keep her alive. " We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now," the Houston family said in their statement to AP.

Pat has been at Bobbi's bedside almost every day since she was first rushed to hospital, and currently shares legal guardianship with her niece's father, Bobby Brown.

It still remains unclear what occurred on the evening of January 31st, but it's thought Bobbi's family believe her boyfriend Nick Gordon was involved in the incident.

Last week Nick was served with court papers which accuse him of dragging his girlfriend upstairs by her hair, withdrawing money from her bank account, and knocking out her teeth just hours before her body was found.

The tragic incident comes just three years after Bobbi's mother Whitney was discovered submerged in a bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hilton in February 2012.

Oh the Kloss family. Did you know that the good genes were not just bestowed upon supermodel sister Karlie?

They weren’t. while Karlie is one of the models of the moment (and member of T-Swifty’s all-important lady squad) she might be facing some competition from her sister.

Kimberly Kloss made a red carpet debut with sis Karlie at the Paper Towns NYC premiere on Tuesday.

Wearing a white cut-out dress with seriously stylish strappy sandals the Diane Von Furstenberg intern cut quite the fashionable figure. Oh, and they’re not the only ones in the family, Kimberly has a twin sister Kariann, and they also have an older sister named Kristine.

Kariann (we’re reminded of another famous family with a passion for K-names) is more of a sports personality than a fashion guru. In 2012 Karlie told Vogue with pride “She's in the newspaper all the time!”

While you try and envision how lovely the Kloss family portraits are, we got to thinking about some other celebrities and their genetically blessed siblings. We think there might have been a few more than you anticipated.

Lottie Moss, Kate’s sister.

Nickayla Rivera, the Glee star Naya's sister

THEON? Actually no, Alfie Allen is Lily Allen’s brother.

New York's PS22 Chorus have performed for everyone from Beyoncé to Rihanna, but their most recent tribute is by far the most emotional yet.

The famous public school choir, which sees a new group of fifth graders singing every year under the guidance of chorus director Gregg Breinberg, dedicated their final performance of the school year to a very special person, their teacher Adriana Lopez.

Adriana is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and the choir wanted to show their love and support by singing her a very fitting song, I'm Gonna Love You Through It by Martina McBride. The lyrics of the song tell the tale of someone struggling with cancer, with lines like, "When you're weak, I'll be strong… When you let go, I'll hold on."

Unsurprisingly, Adriana was in tears as she watched her students sing. Speaking about her battle she said, "It's not easy, but I will get through it because I have wonderful friends at this school."

The PS22 chorus, based at Public School 22 in Staten Island, hit the spotlight back in 2006 when they caught the eye of celeb blogger Perez Hilton, and since then they have recorded hundreds of covers from a variety of artists and have performed at Madison Square Garden and The White House among other locations.

Ed Sheeran's two-night concert run at Croke Park doesn't start until Friday, but there are rumours that Dublin fans could be treated to a very special secret performance… tonight.

The rumoured gig is said to be taking place in Whelan's on Wexford St at 7pm, according to various users on Twitter:

Crowds have been gathering for the last 30 minutes, but bouncers have apparently already begun refusing entry, so it seems pretty likely Mr. Sheeran is indeed present at the iconic venue.

Already today there were various other rumours about where the Thinking Out Loud singer would be spending his first night in Ireland, with some papers reporting he had tried to blag two tickets for the sold-out Dundalk match against BATE Borisov in Oriel Park this evening.

UPDATE, 7.30pm
Ed is indeed performing in Whelan's tonight for one of four 'secret gigs' across the globe as part of a competition being run by Australian radio station Nova. 28 Aussie winners were flown over for the gig, with a few Irish fans getting last-minute passes too.

Were you lucky enough to get inside?

Just yesterday a helpful birdwatcher in the UK was out doing his bird watching thing, when he noticed some unusual farm animal activity.

Ian Ellis, 67, was out walking when he couldn’t help but notice some cows acting strangely. Ellis used his trusty telescope (of course) to discover that the cows were all gathered around a particular area and acting very inquisitive.

What were they looking at? A tiny seal pup who had been separated from their mother.

"There are seals on the edge of the marsh but it was the way the cows were so inquisitive that made me look,” Ian said.

The pup, only 5 days old, was separated from her mom, and waddled her way out of the stream nearby into the field. She then found herself in the middle of field.

Naturally, the whole scenario was incredibly adorable. Even more so because the pup was rescued and whisked off to safety.

Ian contacted Skegness Natureland who advised him on how to handle the pup before their staff could come and collect her.

“Once we got the pup back to Natureland, she went straight into the Seal Hospital to begin treatment,” Richard Yeadon of Natureland told the Daily Mail.

“Her main problem is that at only five days old she was orphaned and therefore had not fed for a while. She had lost quite a lot of weight and was dehydrated.”

Skegness Natureland celebrates their 50th birthday this year. So they decided that Celebration would be the perfect name for the little seal pup.

For the time being Celebration is going to be on a high-fat diet before she can be released into the wild. Natureland are responsible for rescuing 30 to 50 seals every year.

Do you ever feel like you should get some kind of award just for managing to get up in the morning, making it to work/college wearing something other than pyjamas AND feeding yourself three times during the day?

Life is a struggle sometimes, especially if, like us, you feel you're just pretending to do this whole 'adult' thing. If we had our way we'd spend every day watching KUWTK re-runs while eating copious amounts of toast. Sadly though, the world doesn't work quite like that. At least not all the time.

Here are a few key signs you're not quite ready for the adult world…

1. You strongly consider Thursday to be the start of the weekend
Did someone say 'two for one cocktails?'

2. The thought of ever being able to clear your €500 overdraft makes you laugh
If you had a spare €500 lying around, you would NOT be giving it to the bank.

3. If you remember to floss your teeth two days in a row you're genuinely thrilled
Dental hygiene on point.

4. Keeping your bedroom clean is as hard now as it was when you were 13
So. Many. Clothes.

5. You often forgo cooking dinner in favour of some random item from the back of the cupboard
Microwave popcorn it is, so.

6. You've been known to take a 'sick day' purely to watch Netflix from bed for 8 hours straight
How else are you going to watch all of OITNB in one sitting?

7. For the last two weeks before payday you usually have around €0.24 to your name
You spend your LUAS journeys waiting for an inspector to catch you out.

8. In fact, your budget in general looks something like this:
Brunch FTW.

9. You literally want to cry when you find out a celebrity is younger than you
Damn you Kendall Jenner and your eternal youth…

10. This pretty much describes your everyday routine:
Word.

Oh sisters, we love them. No seriously. Even if they steal our clothes, we can forgive them. When they never ever ask before taking our brand new jeans out into the big bad world of wine stains we grit our teeth and get over it. Eventually.

Older sisters can be like having a second parent, and that gets old quickly when you’re trying to sneak out of the house on a Friday night. Younger sisters are just as troublesome.

However, we can learn to appreciate our sisters embrace sisterhood completely.

The positive aspects of having a sister are not just limited to having a built in stylist. Science says that having a sister actually makes you a better and happier person.

So, your mom was right all those times she went on and on about sisterly love.

Psychologists from the University of Ulster looked into the emotional well-being of over 500 people all between the ages of 17 and 25.

Anybody who grew up with at least one sister was found to be happier, better adjusted to life’s challenges and less anxious.

Tony Cassidy, a researcher involved with the study tell us:

“Our explanation for it is that the presence of girls opens up channels of communication and it becomes a much more expressive situation and that’s positive.

Emotional expression is fundamental to good psychological health and having sisters promotes this in families.”

Interestingly, men with sisters have been found to be more emotionally secure according to Ohio State University’s research. The same study showed women with sisters were more likely to be comfortable in social settings.

Men with sisters are also better at talking to women reports Salon.

According to Professor Laura Padilla-Walker “just having a sister led to less depression,” for some adolescents in her 2010 study.

So, if you do have a sister, you might consider giving her a quick call and saying thanks for just being her. She’ll be well impressed, trust us.

Something to think about next time you’re about to send that dodgy Snapchat video of her shower karaoke.
