It has been revealed that Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett has welcomed a baby girl into her family.

Australian news outlets have reported that Cate has adopted a baby girl named Vivienne who has been pictured with her mum while doing the school run for Cate’s other children.

This is the third child, and first daughter for Cate and her husband Andrew Upton who are also parents to Dashiell (13), Roman (10) and Ignatius (6).

Having spoken previously about loving the idea of having a fourth child, the actress’ representatives have confirmed the exciting news.

Cate is currently doing press tours for her role as the evil step-mother in Disney's adaption of Cinderella which we cannot wait to see!

Congratulations to Cate and her family on their wonderful new addition – we bet her three older brothers will be very protective of little Vivienne as she grows up!

Remember when Hilary Duff was happily married and Aaron Carter made things really, really awkward by proclaiming his love for her on Twitter?

Well, Hilary just talked about it again and Aaron is NOT happy…

The singer was speaking to Cosmopolitan about her recent marriage breakdown when she was asked about Aaron, to which she did not mince her words: “It’s ridiculous! But then people do it all the time, like Chris Brown and Karrueche? Come on, guys. Keep it between texts.”

Now, Aaron has hit back at his former girlfriend, tweeting: “Some sh** I just don’t get. Stop. Talking. About. It….I did.”

It looks like any hope of a reunion between these two has been well and truly dashed. Sigh.

If you find you've been getting colds and sore throats more often than normal over the last few months, it could be time to take control of your immune system and give your body a fighting chance.

With such a cold winter behind us and spring not looking much warmer yet, it's so important to fuel your body and to boost your immune system naturally.

Here are a few easy ways to better protect your body…

1. Eat clean
Greasy, fatty foods work against your body's production of white blood cells, so try to eat cleanly and healthily with lots of protein to keep your body fighting fit. Avoid sugar where possible – sugary foods are believed to impair immune function.

2. Floss daily!
Keeping your teeth clean and flossed doesn't just help to combat bad breath. The bacteria responsible for gum disease can also cause inflammation in other parts of the body, so it's important to remove them by flossing each evening. Flossing is also believed to help prevent heart disease and cancer and to improve life expectancy. What are you waiting for?!

3. Try acupuncture
Not only can acupuncture help to relax you, it also boosts your body's "natural killer" cells (that really is what they are called!) which work against viruses in the body. Experts recommend an acupuncture session four times each year.

4. Exercise regularly
Getting 30 minutes of moderate exercise each day hugely reduces stress (a key immune weakener) and also enhances metabolic function in the body, strengthens your virus-killing T-cells and improves general immune function.

5. Get some shut-eye
Ever notice that when you're tired and run-down you're more prone to illness? There's a reason for that! Sleep is your body's best friend – getting eight hours a night allows your reparative and growth hormones to really do their work.

Harrison Ford had a lucky escape yesterday evening when his small plane crash-landed onto a golf course in Los Angeles.

The What Lies Beneath actor who is married to Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart thankfully escaped largely unharmed, suffering ‘moderate injuries’ and was alert and conscious when assisted by paramedics.

His son, Ben also reassured fans that his dad was ‘battered’ but doing fine: “At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man.”

Harrison’s agency also released a statement regarding the incident, saying: “He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”

Fellow famous faces have been sending their regards to the actor.

It looks as if things have gone from bad to worse for Daniella Westbrook and her on-off fiancé, Tom.

The former EastEnders actress shared a photo of her bruised hand on Twitter last night and wrote: “Back to bed back up sleep for a while. Body bruised and hurting.”

Daniella later alleged on the social media site that it was her former fiancé, Tom who had inflicted the painful looking bruises, writing: “So Tom Richards blocks me after beating me up and covering me in bruises. That boy needs arresting and sending back to Wales. #PoliceAware.”

This is the latest in a string of violent incidents involving her fiancé, one of which involved her 18-year-old son, Kai.

Thankfully, the actress says that she is resting up while the police take care of things: “Resting with my family right now. @metpoliceuk and doctors have been amazing. @OfficialTomRich needs banging up #CanOnlyFightWomen.”

We hope Daniella makes the right decision for her family regarding her relationship – all of these incidents really do not sound good at all.

One of our favourite feelings in the world has to be climbing into a freshly made bed in clean PJs with our skin all soft and moisturised.

Picking the right body moisturiser is a big task though – you want it to soften the skin without leaving it sticky or (god forbid) greasy. It has to sink in but still leave your skin feeling touchably smooth. And of course, it has to smell great too!

The Body Shop have a HUGE range of body butters in every conceivable flavour, but we love the Shea version for its simplicity and the speed with which it absorbs into skin. Not a hint of greasiness here, ladies, just skin so unbelievably soft you'll be dying to show it off!

2. Lush Dream Cream
This is definitely in the higher price bracket but is definitely worth splashing out on if you're prone to itchy or irritated skin. Dream Cream's blend of oat milk, rose water and chamomile blue oil is perfect for calming down skin, and it's light enough to use daily. Pro tip: keep it in the fridge during the summer for a great after-sun treatment!

3. Dove Pro-Age Nourishment Body Butter
It's never too early to start protecting your skin from the telltage signs of ageing. Dove's Pro-Age products are packed with rich emollients and olive oil to really nourish the skin deep down. We're big fans of the body butter, and the body lotion too.

4. Vaseline Cocoa Butter Vitalising Gel Oil
Contrary to what you might think, body oils actually absorb faster into the skin with less residue than many standard moisturisers. Use this gel oil while your skin is still damp to really help lock in the moisture and give that healthy glow back to dull skin.

5. Kiehls Creme de Corps
Yes, it's certainly an investment but you'll never look back once you try this dangerously addictive moisturiser! The super-hydrated cream leaves skin feeling supple and smooth. As it says on the bottle, continued use for 10 days will result in a skin texture "heretofore unattainable." If that doesn't sell it to you, we don't know what will!

Victoria Beckham has caused quite the stir with her most recent fashion campaign.

The designer shared the sneak peek of her autumn/winter 2015 collection on Facebook and people instantly began to talk about the unusual poses being held by models in the campaign.

Set in what looks like a motel, one model appears lifeless across chairs while another is bent backwards holding her ankles.

The zombie-like photos are no doubt loved by the high fashion world and definitely have a creative flair about them – we’re just not sure about the ‘corpse’ theme Victoria has going on!

Victoria opened her flagship store on London's Dover Street last year with her fashion career going from strength to strength.

First Kim Kardashian went platinum blonde, and now Jared Leto's at it too… talk about stealing her thunder!

The internet went into mourning yesterday when it was revealed that the Dallas Buyers Club star was about to chop off his long ombre locks for his new movie Suicide Squad:

We have to admit though, his new look is equally jaw-dropping. Jared obviously wasn't about to resist going all-out fabulous for his new 'do, and he really didn't disappoint.

The actor posed for the cameras after today's Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week (where Kim debuted her new look too… coincidence much?!) and showed off an incredible bleached and slicked back new style:

This latest footage of Kendall Jenner really shows the less desirable side of being a celebrity – and it seems she's getting sick of her high profile status.

The reality-star-turned-model was trying to make her way to a waiting car after the Balmain show today at Paris Fashion Week when she was ambushed by hordes of screaming fans.

Kendall is helped along by security guards in the video but the screaming and pushing is truly terrifying – it's a good thing she wasn't alone.

Kendall's background on Keeping Up With The Kardashians meant she was already a big-name celebrity before entering the world of modelling, and with this latest footage we can definitely understand her desire to start distancing herself from her famous family.

The 19-year-old is apparently keen to back out of the recent multi-million dollar deal which the Kardashian family signed to renew KUWTK for another four years.

A source has said Kendall is getting sick of the drama that comes with the "tacky" KUWTK storylines and wants to carve her own career, according to Hollywood Life.

Whatever the reasoning behind her decision, we are all of a sudden not feeling very jealous of Kendall any more after seeing that video!

We know that Ariana Grande has some pretty mental superfans, but generally they are all a bit younger than this… and female, too!

The singer posted an absolutely hilarious Instagram video of three grown men shrieking with excitement as the camera panned to them at one of her US concerts earlier this week:

We so, so wanted this footage to be real but it turns out the three guys in question are the brains behind comedy film company FND Films, so we're going to have to assume it wasn't 100% authentic!

The three lads, Aaron Fronk, Vinny DeGaetano, and Cooper Johnson, seem to be fairly pally with Ariana – on their own Instagram account they shared this snap of them posing with her after the show in a photobooth.

This morning it was revealed that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans had been the victim of a domestic abuse incident which resulted in the arrest of her fiancé Nathan Griffith.

The arrest took place yesterday afternoon in the home the couple share, just days after Jenelle herself was arrested for driving without a licence.

Now the arrest report has been revealed, and it details both sides of the story, which each differ wildly from each other.

Jenelle told police that Nathan pinned her "against a toilet and forcibly removed an engagement ring from her finger" after an argument erupted between the two. She claims she had been staying at a hotel for the last number of days and had returned to the couple's home to collect some belongings she needed for nursing school.

The pair, who have been engaged since January, then got into an argument and Nathan asked her for her engagement ring back. Jenelle told police that she left to use the bathroom and was sitting on the toilet when Nathan came into "pinned her against the toilet… [and] wrestled her for the engagement ring."

Nathan, meanwhile, alleges that no such incident took place and that Jenelle removed the ring of her own accord when she "got upset with him." Nathan also claimed that Jenelle had a history of violence against him and had left him with scars on his back although he had never reported anything to the police. 

After the drama died down, Jenelle seemed keen to get her life back on track. The reality star, who welcomed her second son, Kaiser in late June 2014, shared a  picture from her studies at nursing school with the caption, "Just gotta stay focused and accomplish my goals."

Glad to see she is doing well despite the incident.
