Billy Ray Cyrus announced on Twitter that he is going to be grandfather. 

The country singer made the revelation on Twitter, writing: : “’m going to be a grandfather, Call me Papaw.”

Fans of his daughter Miley instantly started to think that the singer could be expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger. 

However, Billy Ray obviously realised his daughter may not be too happy that he hadn't made it clear it was all just a joke and so he once again to to his Twitter account to verify that he was just kidding. 

Sharing a hilarious snap of a fake ultrasound Miley had posted on her Instagram days previously, Billy Ray wrote: “Yep..Papaw Cyrus.”

So, it looks as if Billy Ray’s tweets were all just a reaction to the tabloid stories doing the rounds at the moment that Miley is pregnant. 

Well, at least we know how excited Billy Ray will be when some happy baby news does eventually come around!

Dodgy haircuts and seriously questionable fashion choices, we've all been there – and so has Adam Levine by the looks of it!

Now, the singer, who was voted People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2013 has shared probably the best throwback of all time, captioning: "1996 in the house. That HARRIBLE 90s goatee took me an entire summer to grow."

We won't lie Adam, the goatee is not your best look to date!

The Maroon 5 frontman is now married to former Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo so we're not sure he's going to be bothered much by his dodgy heydays!

Yesterday, the exciting news broke that Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton had adopted a baby girl. 

At the time, it was reported that their daughter's name was Vivienne, but now a publicist for the couple has proved this to be incorrect. 

Speaking on behalf of Cate and her husband, a rep revealed their new arrival's name, saying: "The Upton family have adopted a baby girl. Her name is Edith Vivian Patricia Upton."

Wow – it sounds like Cate and Andrew may be big Downton Abbey fans! Then again, who isn't?! 

When asked by reporters outside his home about baby Edith, Andrew exclaimed his delight about welcoming their fourth child: "We're thrilled."

Cate has been very busy lately promoting her new movie, Disney's live-action Cinderella but as press tours come to an end we have no doubt she'll be enjoying lots of family time with her new arrival and sons, Dashiel (13), Roman (10) and Ignatius (7). 

Congratulations once again to the family and we love the name they have chosen!

We’re really not sure what’s going on in Paris right now but they may want to look into barriers or something! 

Just earlier, it was reported that Kendall Jenner was accosted by a fan who managed to get past security and even land a kiss on her cheek – now Lady Gaga’s bodyguard is being heavily criticised after this video emerged. 

The singing superstar is seen coming out of her hotel to hundreds of waiting fans and cameras while trying to make her way to a waiting car. As her bodyguard steers her towards the vehicle, one fan in particular seems to agitate him and he is seen grabbing the fan by the back of the neck and pulling him away from Gaga. 

The newly-engaged star and her bodyguard are now facing mass criticism over the incident, with many saying it was far too harsh handling used on a fan. 

Wow, while it does seem as if the bodyguard grabs the fan harshly, was he just too close in the first place?

All of these incidents lately seem to pose the question: is the issue a lack of security measures, or fans being too over-zealous in getting close to their idols?

From being mobbed outside one of her shows to this, we have to say it looks as if Kendall Jenner is having a very frightening fashion week in Paris!

The young model was out for a stroll with her friend Gigi Hadid when a female fan came running towards her, managing to get past security before jumping on Kendall trying to kiss her. 

Kendall, visibly shocked by the fan, tries to hold her arms to her face while security remove the girl. 

The photos come only days after a video of Kendall almost being trampled by fans outside her Balmain runway show was obtained by TMZ – we have to say it looks as if Kendall’s fame is reaching dizzying heights in France!

As the second youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner household is well-known in her family as being the ‘shy one’, we’re not so sure this scary part of fame is going down well with Kendall. 

A similar ‘dark side’ to fame was seen yesterday, when a video of Taylor Swift being forced to walk backwards to escape paparazzi was released.

It's long been taken as fact that singer John Mayer was not just a total player, but a fully-fledged sex addict too – but he says that's not the case.

At the height of his playboy ways, the star dated (and broke the hearts of) a string of high-profile women, from Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift to Katy Perry, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Despite having once described Jessica Simpson as "sexual napalm," the singer has spoken out in an interview claiming he is not in fact addicted to sex… or women… or breaking hearts.

When asked by interviewer Ronan Farrow on the TODAY Show if he considered himself a womanizer, John answered with a vehement "no," adding, "Absolutely not."

No ladies, he's an ego addict, and admits he is constantly seeking validation. "The only way that I can be sure that I don't relapse is to admit that I constantly have this ego addiction — every day. So, I do the Grammys and I go home cause if I stayed, I'd get high again… You've already looked through Twitter, everybody goes, 'It's great,' and then you're low again because you can't stop looking. So, I'm a recovered ego addict."

The singer says he was misunderstood in previous interviews when he was "out of touch" and "being a ham," but that he never intended anybody to think of him as a "womanizer."

If he was given the chance to meet himself as a younger man, John said he would most likely think, "'That guy's really, really talented, but I don't want to be anywhere near him when that thing goes off!' There was never a shot of doing this perfectly. It was never in the cards."

So does he still seek validation? Well, he tries not to. "I will not check Twitter [after this interview]," he told Ronan. "But I check the mirror. The original Twitter."

Whatever works for you, John. Just don't go messing with our pals Taylor and Katie, alright?!

The internet basically lost it's mind yesterday when Kim emerged in Paris with bleach blonde hair. 

While we're all aware there's a lot more to life than hair, Twitter had some serious light-hearted fun with Kim's hair yesterday…

There's a pretty good line-up on the Late Late Show this evening (i.e. three people whose names we actually recognise), with Piers Morgan, Katie Taylor and Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry all joining Ryan on the couch.

Can she do no wrong?

We always knew Taylor Swift was a natural beauty (those cheekbones!) but this latest selfie proves that the girl is just downright flawless.

The singer shared a picture of her lying in bed with her now-famous cat, Olivia, captioning it, "I woke up like thissss (With a cat on me)"

Now, maybe it's a case of some serious Instagram filter usage, but there's no denying Taylor looks stunning!

The singer rarely shows off her face without her signature red lipstick or at least some minimal make-up, so it's rare to see her looking this freshfaced.

Taylor's social media has always given fans an inside look into her life, and today's picture is all the more refreshing given the darker side of the singer's fame we saw earlier today when a video went viral of her walking backwards in heels to avoid paparazzi taking pictures of her face:

Whatever the motive behind Taylor's no make-up look, it's definitely a change from her standard, perfectly coiffed red carpet appearance – we want more selfies like this please Taylor!

Manicures, massages and cocktails – and that was before being shown to the ultra glamourous private cinema in The Soho Hotel in London for a screening of a new Netflix Original series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The ultimate girlie day out!

Netflix celebrated “unbreakable” women by treating a group of fab female bloggers and writers to some much needed "me time" for the premiere of a new sitcom starring the hilarious Ellie Kemper and Jane Krakowski.

With Tina Fey and Robert Carlock on board as executive producers, it’s no surprise that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is hilarious right from the start.

Ellie, best known for her roles in Bridesmaids and The Office US, takes on the title role of Kimmy, playing a woman who has been rescued from a doomsday cult and has to re-start her life in busy New York.

Kimmy strives to be “unbreakable” in a city where failure is expected, aiming to live life by her motto, “You can do anything for 10 seconds!”

Along the way Kimmy meets some brilliant characters, particularly her roomie Titus, a failed broadway star.

If you are looking for some hilarious light relief, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the perfect "me time" show with a great feel-good element.

The show launched today, Friday March 6th – and as it's a Netflix Original Series, you can binge-watch the entire first series all at once… go on, we won’t tell anyone!
