If you've visited any restaurant that isn't your local greasy spoon café of late, you may have noticed a dangerous trend.

The humble plate is no longer the serving vessel of choice for most restaurants – you can now expect to receive your burger on a slab of wood as standard, with your chips in a tiny metal basket, and your cocktail in anything from a ceramic vase to a teapot.

Now though, the people of Twitter have spoken, and they want this madness to end.

A new account called We Want Plates is crusading for the return of the good ol' white circular plate, with followers sending in some of their more bizarre meals.

From bangers and mash in a wine glass (ew)…

To tartare sauce in a watering can…

…It's clear this trend has gone too far!

It sounds as if actress Chloë Sevigny is NOT a fan of everyone’s best friend Jennifer Lawrence!

The actress was speaking with V Magazine when she called out the Jennifer, blasting the ‘marketing’ of actresses in Hollywood: “So much is about marketing and selling the product. They’ll have a really peppy funny girl on the talk show rounds and everybody adores her and loves her and wants to be her or f*** her and then so many more people want to watch the movie or TV show. I understand that star quality, how much value that carries.”

Speaking about her admiration for Angeline Jolie and Emma Stone, it’s clear that Chloë does not hold the same regard for Jennifer Lawrence: “I love when a movie star is a great movie star. I think Angelina Jolie is a great movie star. I like Emma Stone. Whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute. Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying. Too crass.”

Ouch – we wonder what Jennifer will make of her less-than-kind words?! We reckon it will go a little something like this…

The actress also blamed her own lack of charisma for not having reached heights of fame in Hollywood: "I understand star quality, how much value it carries. I don't think I have charisma. Which is probably why I never reached another level."

Yikes, we think Chloë is being a bit too hard on herself, and poor Jennifer too for that matter!

It has been reported that the brief love affair is over for Harry Styles and model Nadine Leopold.

Though it was never confirmed that the couple were officially dating, it has been reported that the model finished things with Harry in order to concentrate on her career. Busy schedules have also been blamed as a factor for the break-up.

A source for Sugarscape have said that Harry is ‘gutted’ over the break-up, but mostly because he was dumped: “Harry is gutted. He’s never been dumped before so it’s a real punch in the stomach for him. Even though they can’t spend much time together, Harry was speaking to her a lot and making plans to fly her over to spend the summer with him.”

Ouch, looks like a short-lived romance for the One Direction heartthrob!

Meanwhile, Harry isn’t the only One Direction star dealing with break-up rumours as it has also been reported that Louis and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder have called an end to their relationship.

Yahoo! Celebrity have reported that the couple appear to be spending time apart at the moment, with Eleanor in LA while her boyfriend is in the UK.

Hmm, sounds like there is a lot of romance drama in the One Direction camp at the moment – chin up, boys!

Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended from BBC following a ‘fracas’ with a producer.

Because of this, Top Gear will not be going ahead this Sunday, a spokesperson for the TV channel said: “No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday.”

This seems to be the final straw for the BBC with regards to Jeremy’s behaviour as he was issued a warning last summer after he used a racist term on the show. It was said at the time that “one more offensive remark, anywhere at any time” would find him out of a job with the BBC.

While it hasn’t been said if Jeremy’s suspension will eventually lead to his departure from the BBC, it has been reported that an investigation is pending.

We wonder what happened during this so-called ‘fracas’!

First it was poor Madonna who made headlines worldwide when she fell backwards at this year’s BRIT Awards – now it’s Ariana Grande!

Ariana was performing in Toronto when she began to run and inevitably fell. Always the professional and thankfully uninjured, Ariana got back up again and continued with the show.

We’re not surprised she fell in those platforms – it could have been a lot worse!

The young singer did not acknowledge the fall on social media, writing simply: "thank u toronto!!!! tonight was such a fun show lol. y'all made me feel so much better! i love you&thank you so much."

Disney star Debby Ryan has revealed that she was once in an abusive relationship.

Debby, who stars in the lead role of Disney’s Jessie since 2011 is raising awareness as an advocate for a domestic violence campaign, 'Don’t Look Away'.

The actress spoke to Teen Vogue about the dark time in her life when things began to take a sinister turn in her relationship: “I hadn’t talked to him in a month. I told him to leave my life. So he threw a phone at me and it shattered to pieces and he was screaming, punching the wall and cussing me out. Then he started bawling and said he’s sorry and loves me.”

Debby says that it is important to know when a partner is crossing over the line into over-possessive: “People that demand your password and always look over your shoulder, as who you’re texting, and grab your phone and let themselves in – that’s not ok.”

The actress also spoke about the fact that it was not only romantic relationships that can turn sour: “I wasn’t dating this person. This person considered themselves my best friend. We had a professional relationship and it was such emotional manipulation to the point where it became physical, and it stopped before it got too far.”

Thankfully, Debby had a strong network of friends and family around her in order to stop things before they got worse: “I’m very fortunate because I had people help me get this person out of my life, out of my house – like physically lock the door.”

We’re so glad Debby managed to deal with her abusive relationship in time and hopefully her story can help others who feel trapped in similar situations.

Naomi Campbell has dismissed rumours she got into a physical fight with fellow model Cara Delevingne during Paris Fashion Week.

The story by Page Six reported that the two women got into something of a brawl at Castel club in Paris when Naomi accused Cara of disrespecting Rihanna. Apparently, Cara tried to pull off Naomi’s wig during the the fracas, but it didn’t budge.

However, Naomi has now addressed the story on Twitter, writing: “Don’t know where this story has come from about @Caradelevingne and I fighting! It is completely untrue, ignore the rumours XN.”

Despite tweeting a rather telling “I don’t f*** with you!!! You lil stupid ass bi***” only nineteen hours ago, around the time of the party, Cara retweeted Naomi’s dismissal of the fight.

Hmm, sounds to us as if something did go down with the ladies, but they have obviously pushed their differences aside.

In what has to be some of the most bizarre Irish news we've heard in a long time, a number of headshop and Class A drugs are currently legal in the Republic of Ireland as the result of a legal loophole.

Not the best day for the Irish government!

Twitter of course got VERY excited with the news – here are some of the best reactions we've seen so far.

1. It started with pure shock:

2. Others knew exactly what they had to do:

3. Some were regretful:

4. But of course we're forgetting the most important things – spelling and grammar!

5. Not everyone had something funny to say, unfortunately:

6. Some were hopeful that this could mean big things for Ireland:

7. While others were… well… a little confused!

Of course, things should be back to normal again by this evening due to an emergency late night sitting of the Dáil to rectify the problem. All the same, it'll make for a good episode of Reeling in the Years somewhere down the line!

Everyone at the Valentino show in Paris this morning got an amazing surprise when two VERY familiar models took to the catwalk to close the show.

Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller are reuniting soon for Zoolander 2, and they gave us a serious blast from the past by recreating one of the iconic scenes from the first film.

The two gave their best blue steel efforts as they took to the catwalk to re-create the "walk-off" between Derek and Hansel – though sadly David Bowie wasn't there to judge them this time….

DOES THIS VALENTINO FINALE MEAN ZOOLANDER 2 IS COMING!?!?!?!?!?!?

A video posted by Man Repeller (@manrepeller) on

Look at them go!

We cannot WAIT for the second film to come out, but for now we're going to be watching this clip on repeat. And the original one too, of course:

So good!
