We are devastated to announce that after 17 years of marriage, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor are going their separate ways.

The couple released a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight yesterday, announcing that they would be splitting up.

"With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time."

The famous couple met while filming a TV show called Heat Vision and Jack, and got married in May 2000 at an oceanfront ceremony in Hawaii.

Ben and Christine welcomed their first child, daughter Ella Olivia, in April 2002 and welcomed their son Quinlin Dempsey in July 2005.

Throughout their 17-year-long marriage, Ben and Christine continued to share the screen, in projects such as Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder, Arrested Development and most recently, Zoolander 2.

The announcement comes seven months after Ben revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago.

He said he was now cancer-free and credited a controversial blood test with saving his life.

The Meet the Fockers star said he believed the prostate-specific antigen test enabled him to get treatment which saved him.

We're hoping the couple's split will remain amicable!

Earlier today while appearing on The Howard Stern Show, Ben Stiller revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014.

Following on from his chat with Howard, the much-loved actor published an essay which detailed his diagnosis and offered an insight into his thought process at the time.

"As my new, world-altering doctor spoke about cell cores and Gleason scores, probabilities of survival, incontinence and impotence, why surgery would be good and what kind would make the most sense, his voice literally faded out like every movie or TV show about a guy being told he had cancer," Ben wrote.

"A classic Walter White movement, except I was me, and no one was filming anything at all," he added.

After undergoing a routine prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test in June 2014, Ben, who married actress Christine Taylor in 2000, was dealt the devastating blow, but insists he is grateful and urges men to get tested.

"Taking the PSA test saved my life. Literally. That's why I am writing this now," he wrote. "If i had waited, as the American Cancer Society recommends, until I was 50 I would not have known I had a growing tumour until two years after I got treated."

"If I had followed the US Preventative Services Task Force guidelines, I would have never gotten tested at all and not have known I had cancer until it was way too late to treat successfully."

Explaining that he immediately sought the advice of Meet the Parents co-star Robert De Niro, who was also diagnosed with the disease, writing: "The first thing I did when I got diagnosed was get on the internet to try to learn. I saw De Niro had had it. I called him right away."

Ben, a father-of-two, underwent a prostatectomy three months later and is now cancer-free.

"As of this writing I am two years cancer free and extremely grateful," the 50-year-old said in a piece which has been published in Medium.

Last night, the whole crew of Zoolander 2 walked the red carpet in London, but the movie wasn't the only thing that premiered.

While all the celebs were walking the carpet, Ben Stiller came out with the longest selfie stick EVER.

It captured all the cast and crew (along with Myleene Klass for some reason) and some by-standers, too.

Although we can't really see everyone from that height, the novelty is too much for us and we want need that selfie stick now.

It's not everyday that two of the biggest names in fashion go head to head.

And even if one of them is fictional, it still makes for some great entertainment.

Ben Stiller is on a pretty epic promotional stint for the upcoming release of Zoolander 2 in February but this short clip may be the best part of it.

Top model of the world Cara Delevingne and Zoolander battle it out on the banks of the Thames in a catwalk showdown during Paris Fashion Week.

The clip even includes Cara's adorable new pup Leo strutting his stuff.

While many of us cannot wait for Derek Zoolander and Hansel to make a triumphant return to our screens next year, there are concerns developing over a character introduced in the film’s trailer.

A first look at the film introduces the character of 'All', an androgynous super model played by a wig wearing, eyebrow-less Benedict Cumberbatch.

An online petition has called for the movie to be boycotted and is a couple of hundred supporters away from reaching its target of 9,000 signatures.

In the trailer, Zoolander and Hansel, reprised by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson respectively, ask whether the model is “male or female” and if they have "a hotdog or a bun."

Cumberbatch’s character giggles and replies “All is All.”

A number of people have taken offence to this scene, and an online petition notes that “Cumberbatch’s character is clearly portrayed as an over-the-top, cartoonish mockery of androgynous/trans/non-binary individuals.”

The controversial character has been referred to as "the modern equivalent of using black face to represent a minority."

According to the petition, producers should have hired a transgender actor to play the role, with actor Andreas Pejić cited as an example of an ideal candidate.

Pejić is a successful Australian supermodel and transgender woman.

“By hiring a cis actor to play a non-binary individual in a clearly negative way, the film endorses harmful and dangerous perceptions of the queer community at large,” reads the petition started by Sarah Rose.

Zoolander is due to hit cinemas in February of next year.

What is this? A trailer for ants?

Derek Zoolander has taken to Instagram to inform us all that a new trailer for Zoolander 2 has arrived. He also promised that the actual film is going to be “at least a million times longer” than 10 seconds.

"Just want to let everybody know that this is NOT the full #Zoolander2 movie," the self-proclaimed "#1 male model in the world" captioned. "

Ben Stiller will return as everyone’s favourite fashion model as Zoolander makes his much anticipated runway comeback.

Hansel is also in appearance and we were relieved to see that Zoolander hasn’t lost his diamonds cufflinks. How could he? They have his initials engraved on them after all.

The Valentino shades and trademark hair are also back. Oh and the dance moves! It's been 14 years since Hansel and Derek left the fashion world in order to find a better life for themselves.

We can only imagine something serious must have happened in order for them to return. Perhaps they heard about the UGG boot making a comeback, or maybe they are also desperate to get their hands on some HM X Balmain?

It probably has something to do with this Bieber situation:

We wouldn't blame them.

Zoolander 2 is expected to be in cinemas in February 2016, and we are very excited. You can watch the full trailer here:

Actor Ben Stiller sent a touching message to fans via Twitter this morning, thanking them for their support.

Ben's mother, beloved actress and comedienne Anne Meara, passed away of natural causes on Saturday, aged 85.

Anne was best known for her roles on King of Queens and on Sex and the City, and she was also one half of the famous comedy due Stiller and Meara alongside her husband Jerry.

Two days after Anne's death, Ben addressed the news on Twitter, writing, "Thank you so much for all the kind words about Anne. All of us in our family feel so lucky to have had her in our lives."

The actor was pictured out for dinner with his wife Christine Taylor in Rome last night, where he is currently filming the Zoolander sequel. The pair looked subdued in dark clothing as they headed to a local restaurant.

A statement from the Stiller family yesterday read, "Anne's memory lives on in the hearts of daughter Amy, son Ben, her grandchildren, her extended family and friends, and the millions she entertained as an actress, writer and comedienne."

Meara and Jerry were awarded a joint star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007, cementing their place in film and TV history.

A number of Anne's fans and friends expressed their sadness at her passing via social media, including her King of Queens co-star Leah Remini:

Such a loss to the world of comedy.

Everyone at the Valentino show in Paris this morning got an amazing surprise when two VERY familiar models took to the catwalk to close the show.

Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller are reuniting soon for Zoolander 2, and they gave us a serious blast from the past by recreating one of the iconic scenes from the first film.

The two gave their best blue steel efforts as they took to the catwalk to re-create the "walk-off" between Derek and Hansel – though sadly David Bowie wasn't there to judge them this time….

DOES THIS VALENTINO FINALE MEAN ZOOLANDER 2 IS COMING!?!?!?!?!?!?

Look at them go!

We cannot WAIT for the second film to come out, but for now we're going to be watching this clip on repeat. And the original one too, of course:

So good!
