The White House has responded to a petition demanding Justin Bieber be deported to his native Canada.

The ruling? It looks like Biebz is safe to stay on American soil…for now.

“Sorry to disappoint, but we won’t be commenting on this one,” the White House’s statement read.

It seems that President Obama isn’t getting involved in this one and is leaving it to “others to comment” on the Baby singer’s bad boy behaviour.

Bieber’s arrest in January for drag racing, DUI and resisting arrest in Miami Beach inspired the petition to kick the pop star, who was raised in Ontario in Canada, out of the US.

It received 273,968 signatures — nearly triple the amount needed to guarantee an official response.

The petition read, “We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

The White House, in its response, did not address the 20-year-old’s legal problems, but it did discuss immigration reform, “Independent economists say immigration reform will grow our economy and shrink our deficits by almost $1 trillion in the next 20 years.

“For those of you counting at home, that’s 12.5 billion concert tickets — or 100 billion copies of Mr. Bieber’s debut album. You better believe it.”

It looks like the singer isn’t letting anything get him down, and tweeted on Sunday, ” Learned a lot this past year thru trial & error but that is life. Excited for what’s next.”

Cara Delevingne is the latest celebrity to get behind 420 day – the marijuana smokers holiday.

April 20th is marked by weed-smokers around the world each year, and the model backed the celebrations by posting a controversial Instagram snap yesterday.

In the picture, the 21-year-old fashion star is seen blowing smoke rings, with a fairly unimpressed lady standing behind her.

“Happy belated 420 x” she wrote alongside the shot.

Cara’s pop star BFF Rihanna  also joined the 420 bandwagon and posted a few snaps of her enjoying the festivities.

Dressed in a revealing black mesh bodysuit which had marijuana leaves covering her nipples, and gold earrings to match, the 26-year-old pop star was certainly not trying to hide her excitement for the day.

“I’ll be here every 420” the Barbadian singer wrote alongside the picture.

Despite Miley Cyrus being in hospital for her allergic reaction to antibiotics, the 20-year-old singer came out of the woodwork to celebrate the day, telling everyone how bummed she was not to be taking part.

Alongside a photo of her donning a pair of bunny rabbit ears and smoking a carrot, she wrote: “Happy 420/ Easter!  I’ll be where I’ve been the past week. In bed. Crying. NOT stoned. wack.”

These common stretching mistakes could be getting in the way of your fitness goals or even leave you with an injury.

So limber up ladies, it’s so worth it.

1. You forget to warm-up
Even gym bunnies lump stretching and warming up as one and the same. They’re not. Before you bend and flex, you should raise your body temperature with blood-pumping moves, or your muscles will be more likely to tear. A few minutes of jumping jacks or a slow jog will get you ready to stretch.

2. You rush it
You’re running late for your spinning class, or you only have 20 minutes before you have to get back to work. It’s no excuse to speed through your stretching. You want to hold each stretch for 15-20 seconds and hit at least five key areas: your quads, lower back, hamstrings, shoulders, and calves.

3. You try to push through pain
The phrase “no pain, no gain” is stuck in your head, and that’s not good for your body. Stretching is supposed to trigger a gentle pull or pressure, but if it hurts, that’s not normal, and you should stop.

4. You skip it post-workout
After working up a sweat, you want to do a few minutes of static bending and limbering to reduce post-gym muscle soreness. It helps your body recover and restores your range of motion, so you don’t feel stiff like a robot for the rest of the day.

5. You only stretch on gym days
You’ll be able to bend more overall and boost your workouts if you get in the habit of limbering up daily.

How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t having any of it when his Broadway performance was interrupted by an overzealous fan.

The female fan was said to have yelled out “I love you Neil!” during the actor’s performance of a transgender punk in the play Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Neil yelled back instantly, “I’m doing something up here, motherf**ker!”

This earned the 40-year-old actor a massive round of applause from the audience.

Cringe for the fan!

A spokesperson for the actor said his outburst was all done in good fun and “fully in the context of the show”.

Harris plays an East German transgender rocker looking for love in a revival of the cult hit that originally opened off-Broadway in 1998 and was made famous on both stage and screen by actor John Cameron Mitchell.

Sounds really cool!
