Rugby star pops the question to his former beauty queen girlfriend

Rugby hunk Tommy Bowe has got engaged to his girlfriend of three years, the former Miss Wales Lucy Whitehouse.

30-year-old Lucy showed off her stunning sparkler yesterday online – rub it in why don’t you!

The pair met in a Cardiff nightclub in March 2011 and friends said they hit it off straightaway.

The former beauty queen gave up modelling to concentrate on a career in nursing care.

Lucy is from Barry, the hometown of hit sitcom couple Gavin and Stacey, and apparently the Ulster rugby star keeps his future bride going about this all the time. How cute!

The couple are reported to be considering the luxurious Castle Leslie as their wedding venue, the same spot where team-mate Gordon D’Arcy married Irish model Aoife Cogan.

TOWIE star Sam Faiers said goodbye to the TV show which made her famous last month.

And now it looks like she’s already moved on to bigger and better things having signed with Elite Models – a top agency which also represents Kendall Jenner.

Gone were the fake tan, white stilettos and micro-mini skirt – Sam looks every inch the model in her first shoot for the agency and would give Cara Delevingne a run for her money with her incredible style.

Speaking about her amazing new job, Sam said, “It’s a dream come true to sign to Elite London – like most girls I’ve always loved fashion and beauty. Modelling is an exciting new challenge for me as it’s out of my comfort zone.”

“Over the last few years I’ve learnt a lot about the fashion industry, by running my own boutique and online shop but this is a totally new avenue and I can’t wait to get started.”

Actress offered big money to battle it out for jungle crown

Corrie’s Michelle Keegan is said to be in the running for the next series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The actress has apparently had meetings with I’m a Celebrity producers who want her to appear on the show and bookers have made her big money offers to convince her to head into the jungle.

Michelle’s schedule is all freed up now after she filmed her last scenes for Coronation Street and the show did wonders for her fiancé TOWIE’s Mark Wright’s career, who came second when he was in the jungle.

Producers are reportedly desperate to get the actress into the jungle camp – not to mention the jungle shower – to boost the ratings as well as keep her from appearing on BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing.

Apparently, Olympic diver Tom Daley will also be heading into the jungle along with Ashley Banjo, from dance group Diversity, when the show kicks off later this year.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (we know, it’s a bit of a mouth full) was the daughter of a successful internet entrepreneur. Her parents climbed their way up the ladder when she was very young, giving her a chance to have a luxurious childhood.

3) Kristen Stewart

This Twilight star really did have a ‘dream’ house. She grew up in a mansion worth $1.75 that her parents designed around her loved for Alice in Wonderland.

4) Jordan Sparks

Jordan Sparks had a successful entrepreneur as a mother and a daddy who played for the N.Y. Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. Fair play to her for not using her parents name to make it big, she made history on the 6th Season of American Idol for becoming the youngest winner on the show.

5) Taylor Swift

Swift had an upper-class upbringing – to say the least. She went to private schools, lived in a huge farm in Pennsylvania and enjoyed her summers at the family’s beachfront house. Her father was a financial advisor who helped finance her at the start of her career.

Gwen Stefani is set to join the judges on The Voice

A source has confirmed that Gwen Stefani will be joining the judging panel on NBC’s The Voice.

The 44-year-old is set to replace Christina Aguilera, who is stepping down to go on maternity leave.

However, she won’t be the only new judge on the show.

Pharell Williams – who was a guest mentor on the show last year – was signed to replace Cee Lo Green.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will remain on the show but with the other new judges in the show, we hope that things will get better.

The new season will start shooting in June, we can’t wait to see the new talent that lies ahead.

There’s no doubt that Robert Pattinson is a gifted actor.

In the trailer for his upcoming film “The Rover,” he shows us how talented he really is.

Set in the Australian desert, the film is a crime drama of gang members who stole a car from main character Eric (played by Guy Pearce).

Rey, played by Robert Pattinson himself, is part of the gang but is left behind injured – watch how he tries to fight for his life.

The film is set to be released in the US on 20 June.

It seems like Miley Cyrus has decided to lighten things up a bit.

The Wrecking Ball singer is still stuck in the hospital after having an allergic reaction to medication she took for her sinus infection.

A few days ago, the 21-year-old singer took to her Twitter account to express her frustration:

“Shut the f*ck up & let me heal. stop scaring my family, friends, & fans,” she tweeted when she heard the rumours about her hospitalisation.

But, Miley’s latest Instagram snap showed a different side to her as it seems as though she is staying on the positive side of things.

“This hospitals full of a bunch of QUACKS (get it??? Quacks) #pennyeveninthehospital #stayinglightlovingandpositive #imissbangerztour #tryingtonotbebitter,” wrote the singer.

We hope she gets better before her postponed Bangerz Tour in August.
