Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean has taken to Twitter to tell Lana Del Rey to stop romanticising the premature death of musicians.

Lana recently gave an interview and when asked by the interviewer as to whether she finds the deaths of music heroes such as Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse glamorous, she replied: “I don’t know. Ummm, yeah … I don’t want to have to keep doing this but I am.”

Understandably so, Frances was compelled to call the singer out on her views:

“@LanaDelRey the death of young musicians isn’t something to romanticize (cont)…  I’ll never know my father because he died young & it becomes a desirable feat because ppl like u think it’s ‘cool'(cont)… Well, it’s f**king not. Embrace life, because u only get one life. The ppl u mentioned wasted that life.Don’t be 1 of those ppl…@LanaDelRey ur too talented to waste it away. (sic).”

Frances has since deleted her tweet and replaced it with: “I’m not attacking anyone. I have no animosity towards Lana, I was just trying to put things in perspective from personal experience.”

Lana replied to Frances late last night saying: “It’s all good. He was asking me a lot about your dad. I said I liked him because he was talented, not because he died young. The other half of what I said wasn’t really related to the people he mentioned. I don’t find that part of music glam either.”

We’re glad to see Lana talking sense at last!

Emporio Armani is known for using exotic locations when it comes to their risqué advertising and it seems Dublin was no exception, as the famous brand decided to film their latest advert on Dollymount Strand.

Armani’s new ad shows the models strutting their stuff for the designer’s new Fall/Winter collection, with some scenic shots of the strand.

This video captioned the area as “striking”.

“Watch as photographer Boo George attempts to capture the striking Irish seaside of Dollymount Strand harmonising with the subtle colours and textures of the new Emporio Armani collection.”

While the new line looks amazing, we were really impressed with how different Dollymount looks in the scenic advert.

Hardy Bucks actor Martin Maloney has been cleared of assault charges after being accused of assaulting two bouncers in Dublin’s Big Tree Pub back in October 2010.

Maloney was doing some DJing in the pub at the time when apparently he got into a fight with security and got one bouncer in a head lock and started punching him.

Yesterday the actor was cleared after CCTV footage showed that the allegations were untrue.

We’re glad he’s leaving his hardy buck persona on screen and not bringing it into the real world!

While the iconic British soap doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to weddings – it still hasn’t stopped studio creators from allowing fans have their special day on the cobbles.

The studio opened as a temporary visitor attraction in April after the soap’s production moved to a new set, and a tour group are currently running tours of the old set.

But last month, soaps organisers applied for a wedding license which will allow non-religious marriages and civil ceremonies to be performed at the Manchester set.

Let’s just hope that Corrie fans’ big day will end happier than some of the soaps’ famous characters.

Claims were made that Kendra Wilkinson kicked her husband Hank Baskett out of their home on Saturday, and today it looks as though it was because she found out about her husband’s alleged affair with transsexual model Ava Sabrina.

Apparently Hank got in touch with Sabrina back in April after watching her YouTube videos online. At the time, Kendra was eight months pregnant with their second child, Alijah, who was born in May.

A source revealed that Hank met with Sabrina and paid her $500 after “they mutually masturbated”.

When the news about Casper Smart’s affair with a transsexual came out, Hank was said to get paranoid he was about to be found out and pleaded with Sabrina not to tell: “He promised her $5,000 to keep her mouth shut, and even threatened to kill himself if the story got out!”

This is awful news for Kendra, especially with such a young baby to look after. The couple were also due to celebrate their five year anniversary on Friday – we really hope it’s all just one big misunderstanding!

Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima, has once again become the face of make-up brand Maybelline. The Brazilian beauty was the face of the brand from 2003 to 2009, so she is already a pro.

Talking about the role, Adriana said: “It’s wonderful to be part of the Maybelline New York brand again. I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl, and I look forward to the work we will do together. The imagery is always beautiful and positive which is what I admire most about the brand. To be a part of that again is a dream come true!”

Others celebs to have worked with Maybelline include Jourdan Dunn who is the current spokesperson and Christy Turlington.

The 33-year-old stunner will be appearing in TV and print ads from this summer and it seems that Jerome Bruhat, global brand president of Maybelline New York, is smitten with the beauty.

Talking about her role, Jerome describes her as being a true “Maybelline woman”, saying: “Globally, women admire not only Adriana’s beauty but also her commitment to helping those in need. We are honoured to partner with her again. Her passion for life and positive energy is undeniable. She truly is a Maybelline woman.”

Jenna Dewan-Tatum revealed in an interview that her husband Channing does NOT like her shooting sex scenes with other men. We can’t really blame him when the couple got together when filming their own steamy scenes in Step Up!

However, Jenna says that if he didn’t mind, she’d be worried: “It’d be weird if he was like, ‘Ah, I’m cool with it, do whatever,’ you know. It’s never fun [shooting love scenes], but you just get really used to it, it’s weird.”

The strange thing is that while he doesn’t like her shooting the scenes, he doesn’t mind watching the finished product!

“We’re all friends, this whole cast, we hang out all the time. They [Channing and her male co-stars] are, like, really good friends, so it’s even more awkward. ‘Yeah, we have this love scene, but we were just hangin’ with our wives and husbands…’ It’s acting, you know—it’s weird.”

We don’t think Channing has anything to worry about anyway, as his wife said: “I’ve kind of got the best at home.”

Kristen Bell is pregnant with her second child with her husband Dax Sheperd.

A spokesperson for the couple have just released a statement about their good news.

“I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln. The whole family is beyond excited.”

The Frozen star is already a mum to her one-year-old daughter, Lincoln Bell Shepard.

We consider this more of a treat for Kanye West, rather than a punishment – as the rapper’s alternative form of community service is apparently to give lectures on subject he knows all too well; fashion.

Kanye was originally supposed to pick up rubbish on the side of the road, as part of his court ordered punishment for his battery charges back in March, in order to avoid jail.

But Kanye has somehow managed to change his punishment to giving lectures on his experiences and opinions in the fashion industry.

This is apparently Kanye’s third visit to L.A. Technical Trade College and he has also been giving fashion lectures to several other throughout Los Angeles.

Today’s lesson focused on designers and apparently lasted three hours. Yah not sure we would want to sign up to those lecture classes but we’re pretty sure Kanye was in his element.

Lana Del Rey has revealed today that she and her long-time boyfriend, Barrie James O’Neil have split.

The singer revealed that they were no longer together when questioned on rumours of a possible engagement between the two of them.

“We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free. We’ll see how it goes.”

Lana and Barrie have been together, since they starting dating back in August 2011.

We wish them the best, it’s never easy to end a relationship.

James Franco and Seth Rogan’s new film The Interview is about the USA trying to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and not surprisingly, North Koreans are not best pleased.

A North Korean spokesperson said: “[this] shows the desperation of the US government and American society.”

Kim Jong Un has condemned the film, but Rogan is not phased. He tweeted “Apparently Kim Jong Un plans on watching #TheInterview. I hope he likes it!!”

We can’t imagine that American’s would be too happy either if North Korea made a similar film about Obama!
