Jennifer Lawrence's final turn as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games will hit our screens at the end of this year – but that's not all that will be coming to an end.

The actress revealed this week that she's saying goodbye to the X-Men franchise too, with one final appearance in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse next year.

Speaking to MTV at the premiere of her period drama film Serena, J-Law confirmed her departure, saying, "It is my last one, actually."

Jennifer's exit will be the end of an era, after four years so far in the role of shape-shifter Mystique.

The series must hold a lot of memories for the actress, after she met her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult on the set of X-Men: First Class back in 2011.

The pair broke up last year after three years together, and Jennifer has since moved on with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

It's thought that next year's film might be Nicholas' last appearance in the franchise too, unless he decides to renew his contract.

Former cast members Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart will not feature in the upcoming film.

Wes Chatham, star of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2, has welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Jenn Brown.

The couple welcomed their baby boy, John Nash, into the world yesterday, and have told US Weekly they are over the moon: “We are absolutely in love with our little boy, and feel very blessed!”

Baby John was actually born a little bit early, and his mum, TV personality Jenn Brown, is lucky she didn’t go into labour whilst supporting her husband at the LA premier of the new Hunger Games film last week!

Wes is playing the role of Castor in the hit movies, opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth.

We can’t help but feel even more excited, after the release of the latest trailer for Hunger Games: The Mockingjay.

The teaser starts off like the previous one with a message from President Snow, who’s now joined by Jena Malone’s Johanna Mason.

But the broadcast is soon overtaken by a creepy interruption from a member of District 13.

Since calling it a day on their relationship last August, Liam Hemsworth has kept quiet about his split from Miley Cyrus. The couple dated for almost four years and Liam even popped the question in 2012, but unfortunately things didn’t work out for the couple. Miley made no secret of how she felt after their split and now Liam has finally opened up about how he feels about Miley.

Reports are coming in that Hunger Games star, Liam Hemsworth was injured whilst shooting scenes for The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part II in Berlin.

Apparently the Australian actor was spotted “limping” his way to a doctor’s office in Germany with the help of an assistant.

The accident is thought to have occurred during filming today, where Liam, Jennifer and the rest of the cast were using an abandoned industrial estate to film scenes for the final movie.

But fans of the Hunger Games franchise shouldn’t worry too much as Liam was apparently smiling as he made his way into the doctor’s surgery, so it can’t be that serious. Phew!

Game of Thrones star, Gwendoline Christie, has been lined up to star in the final instalment of The Hunger Games movies.

Gwendoline, who plays Brienne of Tarth on the hit HBO show, will replace Lily Rabe as Commander Lyme in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

Rabe was forced to pull out of the movie following scheduling commitments.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is due out in cinemas in 2015 following Part 1 which will be released at the end of this year.

It’s hard not to love Jennifer Lawrence; the actress is extremely talented, beautiful and despite all of this doesn’t take herself too seriously either.

But it seems one woman seems to love Jennifer Lawrence a little too much after deciding to get plastic surgery to look like the Oscar winning actress.

Kitty was so dissatisfied with her looks that she decided to pay $25,000 on plastic surgery to look like Jennifer Lawrence.

The surgery involved a boob job, nose job, liposuction to her face and body and fat grafts to her cheeks and bottom.

Kitty defended her transformation saying: “I’m not trying to look like Pamela Anderson here during her Baywatch days. I’m trying to look like a very capable, very personal level-headed female who is an Academy Award winner.”

We are pretty sure The Hunger Games actress would have something funny to say about this.

We’re not sure why this scene was deleted from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire because we love it!

Watch as Katniss discreetly tells her mom and sister that they must pack up their things as the situation get serious in Panem.
