Selena Gomez admits online bullies have made life “exhausting”
Selena Gomez might put on a brave face for her fans, but she admitted this week that she does struggle to stay positive sometimes.
The singer was speaking during a Google Hangout yesterday to launch her new Adidas NEO collection when she answered some personal questions from fans.
One of the issues Selena spoke about was bullying, something she was victim to just last month after cruel online trolls criticised her weight when she was pictured enjoying some beach time with friends in Mexico.

Asked what she would change about the girl if she could, the 22-year-old responded, "Bullying. I'd get rid of bullying… People are so mean, it's exhausting."
Selena also admitted that success has not been a smooth journey for her, saying, "I think life is very, very, very hard and I've never had anything come super easy to me no matter what people may think… If you're good and you're kind to other people and you work hard and you're actually doing something with your life, I think that's so fulfilling."
The singer's bullying problem really came to a head on Instagram just weeks ago, when she personally responded to one commenter who wrote, "@selenagomez you need to work out! Please stop eating junk food…in the business sadly the image its important."
The Come And Get It hitmaker was having none of the negativity and hit back by saying, "I'm IN the business and I could care less about what 'they' or you say I should look like. I don't need to do anything other than love myself, take care of my work, fans, family and friends…. And I do work out. It's not your place to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do."

However at least one positive development has come out of the last few weeks as Selena revealed she has been putting her worries aside and working hard on her new album. "So I've been working in Mexico—I've been in the studio constantly, and I'm so anxious for you guys to see everything and hear everything," she said. "But just know that it's the best that I've ever done and you guys won't be disappointed."
We can't wait!
